  • Data is not updating in DB Table

    Hi...All
    we have done the RFC-JDBC Synchronous scenario, we are getting the success messages into SXMB_MONI ,in the CCM also it was showing success. but data is not updating in to the Database Table. client want to see the response data in the Database Table only.
    pls help me this is very urgent.
    Regards,
    Pasi.

    Hi,
    If everything is working fine in XI there is some problem in database end only while query gets executed. Try debuging the sql query which you have by giving log statement and see what the query generated is.
    Got to your receiver jdbc communication chalnnel , Advance mode > Additional parameters,
    Enter logSQLStatement in the name column and true in the value column
    To view the SQL log Click on the message ID of the communication channel monitoring.
    or, alternatively, in Runtime workbench, click your message> details> audit log tab.
    Run the interface once more. Check the communication channel now. It will show the actual insert statement which is trying to insert into the DB and then you can figure out what is the query being fired to database and see if it is fine.
    Copy the same query and run in databse. you will be able to find the exact problem.
    thanks

  • RE: Cost centre is not updating in FAGLFLEXT table

    Dear experts,
    During posting we give PSG and cost centre but cost centre is not updating in GL total table FAGLFLEXT as its statistical, in order to be able to update CC in the GL total table what we should activate?
    please advice.
    Regards,
    Chandu.

    Hi Chandu.
    Sadly, this is the standard behavior of the system. In FAGLFLEXT only arrive real cost object, not statistical. This is explained in oss
    964686 - Transfer of statistical postings in CO to FI
    If you really nead the Cost Center, you can enhace table FAGL and and create Z field for statistical cost center. This is a common solution.

  • Old datas to get updated in KE30 report

    Hi All
    I had run the KE30 report but found that sales quantity was not getting updated for the SO's .
    I had then made the necessary config and now for the new SO,the report is getting updated.
    But how can i make the old SO get update in KE30 report.
    Pls advise

    Hi Shibu,
    I guess you want reallign CO-PA data. For this you need to repost CO-PA documents and if necessary run KEND.
    I am sorry for the delayed response. If you issue is solved please mark this thread as answered.

  • Data is not updating in the tables

    Hi all,
    I am facing a problem while creating customer and material, after creating and saving the customer and material, if i am going in the change mode, then system is giving awkward message;
    "The material '##' is not been created yet or it has not been activated ",
    in case of customer also it is giving the same error, saying "the customer '#######' is not been created yet"
    please help me solving this problem, as i am not able to understand why this is happening.
    Thanks
    Edited by: saur06_80 on Jul 1, 2010 12:34 PM

    Check your workplace, use TCODE SBWP.
    If SAP fails to store the newly created material/cusrtomer in the database, then the user usually receives an exception message (which is so cryptic that noone understands this mail and just ignores it). This message is just telling you that there was a posting failure. You can then analyze the reason for the failure in SM13.
    Hope this can assist you.
    Thanks & Regards

    Hi Ravi

    i did on exp with this : i deleted all the record from the table and then  triggered idoc for vendor 2005 , 2006,2010 after this data is updated in the table i deleted the rows for vendor no 2006 and 2010 and kept the row for vendor 2005
    then i again trigered the idoc for vendor no 2005,2006 and 2010 now this should update and it should insert rows for vendor no 2006 and 2010 but i am surprised its not updating the data

    Hi there,
    this exception just mentions that the process failed to deploy, but it does not explain why. Could you look at the bpel logs, and find the complete exception stack trace with linked exceptions?
    This is a common trouble shooting problem as the process deployer doesn't show the linked exception. Please look at the best practices guide:
    http://download.oracle.com/technology/tech/soa/soa_best_practices_1013x_drop3.pdf
    Under DBAdapter there is a section on how to troubleshoot the adapter. Search for "Find the Root Exception". It is on Page 130.
    Thanks

  • Re: ZZHOART field in FAGLFLEXT table

    Hello All,
    We upgrading SAP system from R/3 to ECC 6.0. We have come across a new requirement to have the 'Origin Object' (ZZHOART) field available in FAGLFLEXT table for generating some reports basing on this field. This field is available in GLPCT table in R/3 with the technical name as HOART.
    We have applied the SAP note 1555535 to get theh ZZHOART field in FAGLFLEXT table. However the issue is when the documents are posted this field is not gettting updated in FAGLFLEXT table.
    Can you please help me here with this.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Praveen.

    Hello Preeti,
    In the EHP we are using, the corrections mentioned in the above note (1172940) are already covered. Therefore we are not able to make any changes.
    This has not yet resolved the issue.
    Any other suggestions/help please?.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Praveen.

    Example ;-
    create table test67(no number(2) primary key, name varchar2(10));
    create table test67h(no number(2), name varchar2(10),flag char);
    create or replace trigger t67 before insert or update or delete on test67 for each row
    begin
    if inserting then
    insert into test67h values(:new.no,:new.name,'N');
    end if;
    if updating then
    insert into test67h values(:new.no,:new.name,'U');
    end if;
    if deleting then
    insert into test67h values(:old.no,:old.name,'D');
    end if;
    end;
    SQL> insert into test67 values(1,'Lijesh');
    1 row created.
    SQL> update test67 set name='Vishnu' where no=1;
    1 row updated.
    SQL> delete from test67;

    SQL> select * from test67h;

    SQL> select * from test67;

         our problem is the data was posted before that does not update fields in table FAGLFLEXA/FAGLFLEXT,How to update field in table FAGLFLEXA/FAGLFLEXT?
    Thanks,

    Hello Jenjira,
    Since this was a question asked few years back, I think you can share your experience with activation of a Scenario subsequent to Go-Live of new GL functionality (We are contemplating activation of one more scenario for Functional Area updation in new GL. 4 update scenarios were activated at time of New GL Implementation 4 years ago).
    Please share following:
    1. Impact of this subsequent activation on Open documents in the live system.
    2. How you addressed the issues arising on Point 1.
    3. Any support that you got from SAP Support Team on issues thereof.
    Any inputs will be of great help.

  • Archiving old data from a partitioned table

    Hi,
    While sifting through all the options for archiving the old data from a table which is also indexed, i came across a few methods which could be used:
    1. Use a CTAS to create new tables on a different tablespace from the partitions on the exisitng table. Then swap these new tables with the data from the partitions, drop the partitions on the exisiting table (or truncate them although i m not sure which one is the recommended method),offline this tablespace and keep it archived. In case you require it in the future, again swap these partitions wih the data from the archived tables. I am not sure if i got the method correctly.
    2. Keep an export of all the partitions which need to be archived and keep that .dmp file on a storage media. Once they are exported, truncate the corresponding partitions in the original table. If required in the future, import these partitions.
    But i have one constraint on my Db which is I cannot create a new archive tablespace for holding the tables containing the partitioned data into then as I have only 1 tablespace allocated to my appplication on that DB as there are multiple apps residing on it together. Kindly suggest what option is the best suited for me now. Should I go with option 2?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    Thanks a bunch for all your replies. Yeah, I am planning to go ahead with the option 2. Below is the method I have decided upon. Kindly verify is my line of understanding is correct:
    1. export the partition using the clause:
    exp ID/passwd file=abc.dmp log=abc.log tables=schemaname.tablename:partition_name rows=yes indexes=yes
    2. Then drop this partition on the original table using the statement:
    ALTER TABLE tablename drop PARTITION partition_name UPDATE GLOBAL INDEXES;
    If I now want to import this dump file into my original table again, I will first have to create this partition on my table using the statement:
    3. ALTER TABLE tablename ADD PARTITION partition_name VALUES LESS THAN ( '<<>>' ) ;
    4. Then import the data into that partition using:
    imp ID/passwd FILE=abc.dmp log=xyz.log TABLES=schemaname.tablename:partition_name IGNORE=y
    Now my query here is that this partitioned table has a global index associated with it. So once i create this partition and import the data into it, do i need to drop and recreate the global indexes on this table or is there any aother method to update the indexes. Kindly suggest.
    Thanks again!! :)

  • FAGLFLEXT Table not getting updated

    Hello All,
    I have activated 0L leading ledger and the document splitting is up and active, however while posting a document, the FAGLFLEXT Table is not getting updated.
    Can anybody please help.
    Regards,
    Vikram

    Hello Vikram,
    Did you assigned any scenarios to ledger.There are six scenarios like profit center update,prep for consolidation and all....so if you assign these scenarios then the FAGLFLEXT  will be updated...
    pls let us know if you already assigned and then we need to look in to it...
    Thanks,
    Sai.

  • Date of Last.Del field is not updated in EKEK table

    Hello All,
    We have one date update problem for one Scheduling agreement, the field is LFDKD (Date of Last.Delivery) in the table EKEK -Header Data for Scheduling Agreement Release and  this date hasnt been updated only for one SA since 2008 , it remains as it is like 18.02.2008, but the date of last field (LWEDT) is updated correctly till date. So due to this problem , the SA release is sent to the vendor through EDI and the date of last delivery is sent wrongly in 2008 date even though after that many goods receipt has been done for this SA.  Any idea why it didnt get update till date ?
    Thanks in Advance
    Benny

    Hello Benny,
    Please check if the following notes can help :
    1337084 Release header contains doc. date instead of delivery date
    1309001 Incorrect date for last goods receipt in sched. agreement
    Regards,

    Hi,
    I got it. Just ask BASIS to Open the QAS system client and delete all scenarios which was assigned in DEV and transported in to QAS system and reassigned itand saved in QAS system and then its worked. all fields are getting populated.
    Go to IMG Fin Acc (New) -> Fin Acc Global Setting (New) -> Ledgers -> Ledger -> Assign Scenario
    Thanks,
