On iphoto, my import was interrupted and now I can't exit or re-import my photos because it says that I need to wait for the previous import to finish. How can I fix that?

As I was Importing, it kept freezing, so I unplugged my phone and now I can't exit or do anything on iPhoto because I have to wait for my non existent download to finish.

If the download does not resume, then Quit the App Store app and delete the partial download in your Applications folder. Then you will have to start the download all over again from the "Purchases" section of the App store.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Facebook was deleted and now I can't delete that spotify account?

Hey, I just went through facebook hell. I couldn't verify my facebook profile name adequately, so they deleted my account. My spotify was linked with this account. Since I can no longer log into facebook, I can't access this spotify account to cancel my subscription. I tried contacting Spotify, but no response. Please help! I had spotify premium and can't afford to keep paying for something I can't use. On top of this, I made a new spotify account with my e-mail instead and now I can't log in with my computer. It consistently says incorrect password even after I had uninstalled and reinstalled the application as well as restarting my computer. If somebody could help me it would mean the world to me. A good friend just passed and on top of losing all of facebook pictures together, I can no longer just cry and listen to spotify in my room hah. Thank you SOOO much.

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.
If you still have not gotten a reply:
Did you get a confirmation email from the contact form? It should be similar to "Spotify Support Case #XXXXXXX". If so, reply back to that email and tell them you still need help.
If you got an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it saying you still need help, even if it's from a no-reply address.
If you never got an email, look in your spam folder to see if there is an email in there. Make sure you are checking the email account you used to sign up to Spotify. You can check the email on your account here.

Encryption of external hard drive was interrupted! Now I can't repair it.

I was encrypting one of my external hard drives, and the connection was lost during encryption. And now I can not repair it, I can't do anything with it.
It was used as an Windows external harddrive before (NTFS?). I tried to make it an extended mac harddrive, encrypted and journaled.
I get a message where it says: Your computer can not read the disc you have inserted in the drive (translated from danish).
So I have 3 options:
Intialiser (not sure what's it is in english) .. Ignore and Eject.
but nothing happens when I select either of those options, it just asks for my password again.
Hope someone can help. I've searched everywhere on the web. And I'm starting to think I might as well throw it away. Which *****, because it was quite expensive.

I wouldn't trust the drive after an error like that, but if you want to use it, repartition in Disk Utility. I'm assuming you have backups of the data.

Sounds like you need to update your billing information.

Click the Done button once you've updated all of your information.

You do realize that there are many, many email providers and without knowing which one you are talking about, there is no way to answer your question?
Which then leads to this ..... Have you contacted your email provider about this? That's probably the best place to start. See what they recommend.

I really do not think it is the iPad or your network connection. Other users have reported this very same issue. Try this and see if it works for you - it may not work - but it's easy to try - harmless - and it has worked in the past for others.
Try signing out of your account and restart your iPad.
Go to Settings>Store>Apple ID and tap the ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. Go back to Settings>Store> Apple ID and sign in again.
