On Time Delivery Reporting - Capturing original promise date to customers?

We have a business metric that we use to track how well we do based on what we told our customers the delivery date was versus when we actually delivered the product(s).  However, because of rescheduling, usually this original date that was "promised" is "lost" because of the new delivery date that is proposed.  Therefore, we are unable to report on what we originally told the customer.
Does anybody have any suggestions or experience in this area? How do you report on how well you do in terms of delivering to your customers? How do you measure your "on time" delivery?
Thank you, Paul

you will not be in a position to track this data unless & otherwise you had recorded the schedule line details on a timely basis.
Say for an example, if you are scheduling the V_V2 or rescheduling option.
You go for a ztable where u have the VBBE/VBEP table details recorded seperately or you can save the details of this output on a local system (ideally we can have this data collected just before the run of V_V2 or rescheduling) and this can be used for evaluation / comparison on the original proposed date at the order level and the actual GI date recorded at the delivery level.

  • Reg:-ORIGINAL PROMISE DATE OF PO

    Hi all,
We have bulit a report on Purchase Order Receipts. In that we are having three columns i.e. Current Promise Date, Need by Date, Original Promise Date.
NOW – the problem is that the ORIGINAL PROMISE date is not accurate when there is multiple shipments for a PO Line.It is pulling the original promise date from shipment #1 in all cases instead of taking it from the correct shipment number.
EXAMPLES WHERE PO LINE HAS MULTIPLE SHIPMENTS:
    PO 100004
    LINE – 1
    SHIPMENT – 6
Report is showing Original Promise Date as 10/11/2011, but in Oracle the Original Promise is 12/21/11 (IT IS PULLING THE ORIGINAL PROMISE DATE FROM SHIPMENT #1)
and same is the case for shipments 5,6,7,8 are incorrect as well.
In the source Extract we are using this query to pull Original Promise Date:
    SELECT PO_LINE_ID,PROMISED_DATE AS ORIGINAL_PROMISED_DATE
    FROM
SELECT LINE_LOCATION_ID,PO_LINE_ID,PROMISED_DATE,LAST_UPDATE_DATE,REVISION_NUM,ROW_NUMBER() OVER (PARTITION BY PO_LINE_ID ORDER BY REVISION_NUM ASC) RN
    FROM APPS.PO_LINE_LOCATIONS_ARCHIVE_ALL
    ) ORIG_PROMIS_DATE WHERE RN=1) ORIGIN_PROMISED_DT
Please let me know whether the logic we are using is correct or not.
    Thanx in advance.

You should do a "PARTITION BY line_location_id" ; not po_line_id.
If you do it by po_line_id, it is giving one record for each line even if you have multiple shipments.
You need one record for each shipment.

  • Date Wise Pending Delivery Report

    Hi all,
I need a pending delivery report as per the date which user enters. For ex on a particular date what were the pending deliveries and total pending stock which was to be delivered.
Is there any standard report or any Function module available. If not, is there any logic by which we can fulfill this requirement.

VL06 gives same data as VL06O/VL06i and gives only real-time delivery status (you can't look at 07/10/2011 date & see what delivery documents were pending PGI, only can see latest delivery status as of now for that date).
So, If "historical" data is needed for past date and status of delivery documents at that time, then need to go with BI report or similar reporting tool where you can set specific parameters like take snap-shot of table(s) of open deliveries due for PGI but not PGI'd on specific date/time.

  • Not getting proper date values for original GI Date

    Hi,
I have to Calculate Original GI Date based on Original promise Date and transport Date(Original GI Date = Original promise Date-transport Date) and I am getting Original Promise date as"21112008" and transport date as"20112008". when I subtract in Update rules as formula as (Original promise Date-transport Date) getting Original GI DATE as"01000001" as it is giving wrong date values.please help me whether i am going right way or is there any thing else i have to select in Update rule level (formula) to get proper date values or how can i approach to get original GI date.
it is QUITE Urgent...please help any one to solve the Issue.

  • Vendor Evaluation on time delivery criteria based on Month

    Dear Gurus,
I have requirement that , in vendor evaluation the score calculation based on sub criteria on time delivery should not be on date basis , but need on period basis.
Ex. I am giving PO to Vendor and delivery date criteria is on month basis means whole month he can provide me material based on his capacity. date is not fixed.
can system score on the basis of period or it will be always on date basis, please guide me.
    Thanks & Regards
    Akshay

I don't think that you can have an individual scoring method for one vendor, so a change of customizing will affect all vendors.
A delivery date of an entire month would mean the last date of the month is the date in date field.
So you would need to setup your percentages so that 30 days early delivery are still get  a 100 %

  • Promised Date Calculation based on Need by Date and Transit Time

    Hi,
I have created PO with NBD as D25 (Day 25) and approved it. This means that i need the goods to be at my premisis by D25.
    Now the requirement is
Promised date in my PO should be calculated to D25 - Transit Time. So that supplier will be notified D25-Transit time.
Or Is there any workaround to overcome this.
    Thanks,
    Jey

    JeyHi Jey,
Where you are capturing your lead time. You can do it in item master.
Once it is there, write a personalization to calculate the promised date and update the field.
    Thanks,

  • Date Time Stamp during capture?

My Sony HDV is outputting the date time stamp to my video monitor. that is what I want but FCP does not burn it. I mean it doesn't capture it. I've looked allover the preference menu but there don't seem to be any options for this.
So is it possible? HOw do I enable the date time stamp from the original recording to be visible?

You can't get this over firewire. You'd have to have a capture card and capture the video output from the camera or deck. You wouldn't be working in the native format if you did that, however. Which might not be a bad thing..

  • GR Date in STPO Delivery Report

    Dear experts,
I have developed Infoset by joining the tables LIKP, LIPS & MKPF in order to get the STPO Delivery with SQ01 Query.
I have joined all the tables with Delivery field. Only one field I have taken from MKPF-BUDAT(Posting date), we required GR Date at receiving plant. I have seen both GR/GI has the same field (BUDAT) for posting date. Later I came to knew by movement type# 101 we can get the data for GR(Goods receipt dt) for receiving plant. But it fetches only the data for posting date at source/vendor plant and movement type# 643 (source/vendor side) not #101.
How Can I get the GR Date of receiving plant in the STPO Delivery report ?
    Thanks,
    Irfan.

    Hi Sridhar,
So, do you mean I need to take MSEG(BWART-Movement type field) first, and then MKPF(BUDAT-Posting dt) ?
    Thaks in advance,
    Irfan.

  • How to capture file modification date and time over the web

    HI!
I am creating a web based application and I am using webutil package for al lot of my work being that I ma working with renamin, deleting and uploading files for a users machine to the database. There is one functionality thing that I have to do in this application that webutil does not take care of and that is capturing the modification date and time from a file on the users machine. Please help me capture the date and time of a file on the users machine.
    Thanks!

Since webutil allows you to write file on client PC directory, then you first create a directive file, then host that directive file. the directive file content is just the command lines when you manually do it on PC.

    Hi Sk
Assuming you have the collection of statistics enabled, which it is out of the box, you can get the information you need from the EUL5_QPP_STATS table. This script will help:
    SELECT
    QPP.QS_DOC_OWNER WORKBOOK_OWNER,
    QPP.QS_DOC_NAME WORKBOOK_NAME,
    QPP.QS_DOC_DETAILS WORKSHEET_NAME,
    QPP.QS_CREATED_BY RUN_BY,
    TRUNC(MAX(QPP.QS_CREATED_DATE)) LAST_USED_DATE,
    COUNT(QPP.QS_ID) TIMES_USED
    FROM
    EUL5_QPP_STATS QPP
    WHERE
    QPP.QS_CREATED_DATE >= ADD_MONTHS(SYSDATE, -18)
    GROUP BY
    QPP.QS_DOC_OWNER,
    QPP.QS_DOC_NAME,
    QPP.QS_CREATED_BY,
    QPP.QS_DOC_DETAILS
    ORDER BY 1,2,3;

  • Display original clip date-time

I'm using FCPX 10.0 to mount a video whish must display the original clip date-time.
I have found a timecode generator, a free TimeDate generators by RippleTraining but no one to simply print the *original* clip date time, as well as I can see on my Video-Cam simply pressing a button. I need to show that date-time (as Fri, April 14th 2014 - 11:19:59 a.m.) changing in real time, exacly as in a video-surveillance movie, because of legal reasons.
    Any idea?

You can have a custom table where u can store date-time of search, and can track, accordingly by order by clause to get the last search date-time.

  • Time delay on seeing the changed data onto the webi reports

    Hello,
I'm new to BOBJ and was hoping someone can help me with adjusting the time delay the reflects the changed data to the Webi reports.
I have a user that would update a form on our EP.  Afterward, she would have to wait a while before she can see the changed data on our Webi reports.
can you please tell me the default time lag and show me where I can change it if required?
    thanks.

    Thanks for the reply.
    Our BO is 3.1 SP4.
We just implemented PBF (Public Budget Formulation) and our forms are running on NWCE server.  It's being written to our backend BW 7.01 SP8 server.  I was told by our users that after she updates some new information on the form, it takes a while before she can see it on the reports.  My understanding was the universe should see the updated data from our BW immediately after they refresh.  Just as you both mentioned.  But according to the users, its not.  there's a time delay.
I'm going to test this myself if there's a delay.  In the meantime and suggestion would be helpful.

    Hi Prabhakar,
Well you can opt for ALV display...
You want to generate report based on plant data..
Once the user enters the plant, you can extract the remaining info from table MARA, QALS, EKKO.
The radio buttons will decide your selection critera.
I dont think any functional guy will give you everthing spoon feeded. You will have to explore those tables and the relevant fields.
In case you are finding it to difficult to get the relations between the tables or finding list of tables,
i shall send u docs which will help u solve the problem.
    Give me ur email id
