One ITEM in multiple canvas

All,
One simple question... I am new to forms and that is why asking this question..
I have created a DATABASE... case these items be shared in 2 canvases ??
Thanks,

I have created a DATABASE... case these items be shared in 2 canvases ??Not directly, no. An Item can only be assigned to a single canvas (check the property pallet for the item), however, you can create a second (non-database item) that you would display on the second canvas and then set the item to copy the value from your database item. This can be done through the properties of the second item or you can use code. I prefer the properties approach.
Craig...
p.s. It is always helpful to include your Forms Version when asking a question! ;-)

  • One Target for multiple items

    Does anyone know how to set up a drag and drop activity where
    you can have 1 target that multiple items get dragged to? For
    example, an activity where you would drag multiple images into a
    trash can.
    I've tried, and it seems like once one items goes into the
    target, nothing else works because its going on top of the first
    item.
    TIA!!!

    OK, I'm having trouble again. I need multiple items to drag
    to one target. I'm putting all my actionscript in the same frame,
    and here's how it looks:
    stop();
    name_mc.onPress = function():Void {
    this.startDrag(true);
    name_mc.onRelease = function():Void {
    this.stopDrag();
    if (eval(this._droptarget) == safe_mc) {
    this.swapDepths(this._parent.getNextHighestDepth());
    this.removeMovieClip();
    address_mc.onPress = function():Void {
    this.startDrag(true);

    this.stopDrag();
    if (eval(this._droptarget) == safe_mc) {
    this.swapDepths(this._parent.getNextHighestDepth());
    this.removeMovieClip();
    And I'm getting the following error message:
    **Error** Scene=Recap, layer=actions, frame=1:Line 21:

  • Multiple free goods for one item in standalone CRM

    Hi Gurus,
    We are trying to implement multiple free goods for one item in standalone CRM.
    As per SAP.help.com, it says that we can configure multiple free goods scenario in standalone CRM system.
    We tried to set up this in our system.  Basically we want to implement the scenario, where a user wants to  purchase item A, he should get a prompt for choosing between two free goods  B and C.
    We did the relevant IMG settings required for Free goods at  IMG ->CRM -> Basic Functions -> Free Goods.-> Set up Free Goods
    We also did the relevant item category determination where we have made an entry with
    Item Usage = " Free Goods" , Main item cat. = "TAN' , Item Category = "TANN".
    Now we went to create condition records in the path  "SAP Menu -> Master Data -> Prices and Conditions -> SAPCND/GCM - Maintain condition"
    We chose Application ="PRT", MaintenanceGrp="PRT_FGOODS", Maintenance context ="GCM"
    Then while creating conditon records , when I try to create two condition records where the Main Product is same but free good product is different, the system is not allowing to save these two condition records.
    it is giving error "Overlapping validity periods for two condition records".
    Please advice, if i am missing something. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Constraints in free goods in R3 taken from SAP library
    Free goods can only be supported on a 1:1 ratio. This means that an order item can lead to a free goods item. Agreements in the following form are not supported: u2018With material 1, material 2 and material 3 are free of chargeu2018 or u2018If material 1 and material 2 are ordered at the same time, then material 3 is free of chargeu2018.
    Free goods are not supported in combinations with material structures (for example, product selection, BOM, variants with BOM explosion).
    Free goods are only supported for sales orders with document category C (for example, not quotations).
    Free goods are not supported for deliveries without reference to a sales order.
    Free goods cannot be used in make-to-order production, third-party order processing and scheduling agreements.
    If you defined a free goods for variants in a generic article (only SAP Retail), you can only process the variants in the purchase order and goods receipt individually (as single articles). In other words, you cannot process them using the generic article matrix.
    This answers your qn Not possible in R3
    If you are on Retail scenario this is possible thro bonus buy schemes
    But a lot of customizations needs to be done and you need a retail server to do that

  • SO creation for one internal item with multiple customer code

    Hello,
    We want to create sales order for one internal product for one customer with multiple customer product code.
    SAP allows only one to one relation in customer info record. Is there any work around for having multiple customer product code for our single internal product code in single sales order.
    Regards,
    Balu J Karbhari

    Hello,
    It is not possible. Please check OSS note 626931.
    One alternative approach might be to trying to use the material determination functionality. Please try the below steps and check if it works for you.
    T Code VD51: Create CMIR for Customer & Material
    T. Code VB11: Maintain material determination for all required materials to point to the Material which has the CMIR.
    T Code OVRQ: Substitution reasons. Make the configuration to print Original material . Check  the column ENTRY, so on output the original material will be printed.
    Hope this helps

  • Delivery from sales scheduling agreement with one item per schedule line

    Hi all,
    I have a sales scheduling agreement where the same part number has 3 different JIT schedule lines and I need to create a delivery with 3 item lines: every item line of the delivery has to be referred to one schedule line of the scheduling agreement.
    When I create the delivery with transaction VL10E it has only one item line and its quantity is the sum of the 3 schedule lines of the sales scheduling agreement.
    I've tried to change the customizing of the User Role, choosing the Split Schedule Line = 2 ("One item per schedule line") but the delivery is created again with only one item line.
    How can I solve this issue?
    Thanks in advance for reply

    Dear Alex
    The SAP standard behaviour is that all schedule items with delivery date in the past have to be rescheduled anyway to one date and are combined therefore.
    Partially this behaviour can be influenced in VL10* by 2 parameters in
    the user role : Split per sched.line and Rule (delivery qty).
    Please find below informations about these different parameters
    "Split per sched.line propose you 3 Rule for creating one delivery item
    per schedule line. In a delivery list in item view with multiple
    schedule lines, you can decide for the same document item whether you
    want to generate one delivery item per schedule line or whether you want
    to deliver the cumulated quantity of the last schedule lines selected.
    About rule for delivery quantity, the following rules are currently
    implemented:
    1. No cumulation
    The open schedule line quantity to be delivered is the quantity at which
    the list line is delivered.
    2. Sum of all open schedule line quantities to be delivered that fall
    before the chronologically latest date in the to field (following the
    Deliv. creation date field) of the selection criteria.
    3. Sum of all open schedule line quantities to be delivered whose
    delivery creation date falls within the selection time frame (between
    the dates in the Deliv. creation date and to fields, respectively),
    making the calculation of the quantity to be delivered consistent with
    selection criteria. However, calculationof the quantities delivered with
    the order's schedule line quantities is not affected."
    Hope this helps.

  • HT1040 Is there a way to place an order with more than one item at a time? For example I am going to make a few books and have them all shipped to me.  Do I have to order and pay shipping for each one individually?

    Is there a way to place an order with more than one item at a time?  for example I am making a few books and having them all shipped to me.  Do I have to order each one separately and pay shipping each time?

    You have to order each book separately, if the books are different. Only multiple copies of the same book can be ordered in the same order, see here

  • How to create list items with multiple attachment files using rest api javascript

    In one of user form I am using javascript rest api to create a list item with multiple attachment files. So far I am able to create list item and once created uploading an attachment file. But this is two step process first create an item and then upload
    a file.
    It create an additional version of the item which is not desired. Also I am not able find a way to attach multiple files in a go. Following is the code I am using.
    createitem.executeAsync({
                    url: "/_api/web/lists/GetByTitle('UserForm')/items(1)/AttachmentFiles/add(FileName='" + aFile.name + "')",
                    method: "POST",
                    contentType: "application/json;odata=verbose",
                    headers: {
                        "Accept": "application/json;odata=verbose",
                        "X-RequestDigest": $("#__REQUESTDIGEST").val()
                    binaryStringRequestBody: true,
                    body: fileContent,
                    success: fnsuccess,
                    error: fnerror
    So somehow I need to combine item attributes along with attachment files in body: param. I visited https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/dn531433.aspx#bk_ListItem but no success.
    Appreciate any help.

    Thanks Mahesh for the reply and post you share it was useful.
    But this does not solve the core of the issue. You are uploading attachments after creation of item and multiple files are being attached in loop. This is kind of iterative update to an existing item with attachments. This will end up creating multiple versions.
    What I am trying to achieve is to create an item along with multiple attachments in a go. No item updates further to attach a file.
    Please suggest how this can be done in one go. SharePoint does it when one creates an item with multiple attachment.
    Thanks for your reply.

  • One RFQ for multiple vendors

    Hello Experts,
    In SAP, whether an RFQ can be sent to multiple vendors.?
    In ME41 (RFQ Creation), we have the option  of mentioning only one vendor.Whether the same RFQ can be created/sent to multiple vendors?
    Please clarify.
    Regards
    Mahesh

    Hi,
    We can surely send one RFQ to multiple vendors (vendors having master record as well as one time vendor). At first we create RFQ for material or service i.e. we maintain header data and item description in item overview, after that u can send it to multiple vendors by entering vendor name or entering one time vendor detail in vendor address tab which opens separate screen, here when u press save a particular RFQ is generated for the relevant vendor u maintain. Than u will get the item overview screen again if u want than do some changes or not  and again send it to another vendor by the same process.
    Item overview serves as a template in which u maintain ur requirements and than u use this to send multiple vendors, to end end the RFQ creation press exit.

  • How do I delete  one item at a time from trash?

    How does one delete one item at a time from trash?

    In general, one doesn't.
    I suggest you create a new folder (I use "Trash Soon") on the desktop near the trash icon. Move all the stuff out of the Trash bin into the Trash Soon Folder. Then move the things you really want to eliminate to the Trash can. Empty Trash.
    DO NOT store anything you want to keep in the real Trash can. There are many activities that may cause "Empty Trash" a a side-effect.
    If you have multiple drives, The Trash is an illusion created for your convenience. The actual Items may be on several different drives, but all marked as "in Trash". Moving them to a folder on a different drive may cause unexpected copying.

  • "A script is already running" while attempting to run more than one item

    We upgrade recently to ODT 11.2.0.3.20. Since then, attempting to run more than one item from the Solution Explorer (by selecting the items, right-clicking, and selecting "Run") results in a popup error of "Oracle Developer Tools. A script is already running". If many items are selected it results in many error messages and only a random few of the items are actually executed on the server. Also, choosing "Run On" now results in it prompting for the target database for each item selected (rather than once for all items selected like it used to). This all used to work fine in the earlier release we were using. Has anyone else run into this? Any fixes? We used to use multi-select and "Run" or "Run On" to deploy multiple items at once, but this no longer works -- doing one at a time works, but if you have hundreds of items to run, this quickly becomes unusable.
    Thanks for any insight.

    I don't believe that the intention was for you to be able to run a bunch of scripts one after the other. Often there are dependencies between scripts anyway and so you you have to order them. Because we're generally deploying a large set of stored procedures (and not just one-time scripts) the order doesn't really matter -- even if a stored procedure gets created before one it depends on, once all the SPs are on the server, the ones that are "invalid" will compile correctly once you execute them.
    I think a lot of people are creating master scripts that references child scripts using the "@" sql plus syntax.... have you tried that?
    I'll give that a try as a work around. Only issue I have with that solution is every time we add or remove something from the solution, we also have to update the script.
    We are doing a lot of enhancements to our script generation in the coming year. Keep an eye out for a beta to test.
    Like I said, this used to work fine in the older versions of ODT. It seems like the new version is attempting to execute multiple items at once on the same connection simultaneously, thus resulting in the "A script is already running" error. The old version used to be smart enough to execute them one at a time -- so something changed in a more recent version to completely break "Run" and "Run On" when you have more than one item highlighted (even just highlighting 2 items and choosing "Run" runs the first item, but then gives the error for the second item).

  • Select One Choice-select multiple attributes into mutiple columns

    Select One Choice-select multiple attributes into mutiple columns does not work.
    read-only view object view1 - columns a, b, c
    updatable view object view2 - also columns a, b, c
    Select One choice has the capability to bind multiple columns to multiple columns. I understand how this wizard is to be used for these multiple mappings, i.e., view2.a mapped to view1.a, view2.b mapped to view1.b, etc., and using 'select multiple...' for the display attribute. When I complete the 'List Binding Editor" correctly, in this example, only column a will be updated. Columns b,c, etc. will not be effected.
    Has anyone solved this? Please do not reply telling me how to use the editor, I know how, it just is not working.

  • How to Maintain Payment with one check for Multiple Vendors?

    Dear Gurus,
    i have a scenario for outgoing payment, here it is
    i have some open items for multiple vendors. say it for open item
    1. with amount 5000 USD for vendor A
    2. wiht amount 10000 USD for vendor B
    my company pay both open item 1 & 2 with one check, say the check no is 27382830 and the amount is 15000 USD. The check is given to the Bank as an order to Pay the vendor. so the check does not have receiver name. i attach a formal letter to the bank to ask them for making payment with that check. the letter contains a detail the amount, vendor bank account number, account holder, and the vendor name.
    so how i can threat this business scenario into SAP? i want to trace check number used to pay the vendors.
    hope you can give some clues. is it possible to maintain scenario above with automatic payment?
    best regards,
    land lord

    Hi,
    Yes you can map this scenario in SAP and use F110 for this. But you will also have to use some Z programs..
    1. For F110 FBZP configuration, maintain outgoing bank clearing Account (this will be a dummy account and not the actual Outgoing Bank Account) as the Bank Sub Account.
    By doing this when you run payment in F110, entry will be
    Vendor A A/c...Dr.
    outgoing bank clearing Account Cr.(1)
    Vendor B A/C... Dr.
    outgoing bank clearing Account Cr.(2)
    2.Then you will have to use Post with clearing transaction codes and make one entry
    outgoing bank clearing Account Cr.(1)..Dr.
    outgoing bank clearing Account Cr.(2)..Dr.
    To Bank Outgoing Account(Actual Bank outgoing Account) Cr.
    3. Now, when you get the single cheque no. from Bank against both the vendors, then thru FB02, change the assignment field/Reference field for Che No. updates.
    But do check BRS also for its reconciliation.. If you do it on a daily basis.. then it would not be difficult.
    Hope this helps you..

  • Delete single item form multiple populated list

    Hi,
    please help me to find a solution!!
    I have 2 listboxes. listbox Description is populated by XML.
    When user selects multiple items at the same time from the Description listbox, they are populated in the listbox and are removed from Description listbox. that works fine.
    But the issue is if the user accidently selects one of the multiple selected items at the same time wrong and want to delete a single items, this doesnt work anymore.
    I can not even click on each single item.
    I try to find a way how to enable user to populate multiple items at the same time and be able to delete each single item, which then should return back to the Description listbox.
    I would really appreciate if you could help me on this!!!
    This is my sample: https://acrobat.com/#d=l0mujTOFduSJFele5R5i3g
    Thanks,
    Diana

    Would you not just reverse your code ..instead of populating listbox from the selections in description and deleting the items out of description, remove the items from listbox and update description then remove the items from listbox.
    Or am I missing something?
