How to find IDOC no with reference to one billing document no
Dear all,
Can you please tell :
How to find IDOC no with reference to one billing document no
ThanksHi Pavan,
You are absolutely correct. But what i need to know is sometime , even in the sales order there will be no output type (basically inbound) which can be found as suggested by Sunil - I think that is the most relevant way to find the IDOC no. Hope you will agree with me. Again how to activate by IAN is also guides the idea. Only thing we need to know the exact parameter to be maintained in own data.
Thanks for your one of the valid suggestion.

Make the completion rule = B Item is completed after full quantity has been referenced -
POSTING WITH A DOCUMENT TYPE WITH DIFFERENT EXCHANGE RATE TYPES
Hi there,
We have different company codes in the same client. These companies are situated in various countries.
I like to use the same document type with several exchange types M and X(specific for countries). Posting in MM and SD are ok by defining a exchange rate to master records of customers and vendors. Unfortunately I could not find a way to post documents from FI using the same document type.
Is it possible and how?
Thank you,
melikeHi,
In accounting editing options (Transaction code FB00) - in the tab Document entry - there is an option to select the check box Exchange Rate from first line item. If this is selected, the exchange rate entered manually in the first line item will be copied in the header automatically. This could be one of the options you can consider.
However, the hitch is it involves manual entry which could result in human errors.
Thanks

Reg: Document type should allow only one Material Type or a number series
Dear Experts,
In my project , clients requirement is to restrict the Material Type or the number range assigned to a Matreial Type for a perticular PO Document Type. We have one document type for Local Work Order -YLWO in which we want to enter the DIEN material type material code only. since we want to use the Po document type to procure service from local vendor and same time we dont want to use the SERVICE Entry Sheet for the external service. Please guide me...
My opinion is -- We can try with USEREXIT or BADI.
If I am right then can any body suggest me Badi or USEREXIT name....
We are using 4.6C so I am facing some problem .
Thanks in advance.
Regards
DibyaCheck the following BADI with your ABAP Consultant
ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST
I have used this BADI for controlling the type of vendors according to PO document type. Currently I do not have access key to check the fields in this user exit. Check with your ABAPER on this whether it can fulfill your requirement.
The use of item category D results into the service entry sheet. If you want to use DIEN material type then you have to do GR.
what is the difference from your requirement ???
Service entry sheet is nothing but the GR only.
DEIN material type is used basically from SD or Customer service module.
please make clear to forum what is your some problem by using 4.6C. It is too generic a statement. -
Document type with automatic posting
Good day to everyone!!
Is it possible that i can create a document type with automatic posting such that i do not have to input same entries everytime i transact or enter an invoice in FB60?Thanks again Ajay!
But the recurring entry transaction asks for a run date. Here is my scenario:
Invoices come randomly, everytime i receive 1, i have encode all entries for that particular invoice.
What i want is, can i make a template wherein i just have to call that template so that i won't have to encode again and again the gl entries. all i gotta do is encode the amount. this way i will be able to perform my task faster and i can efficiently do other things.
by the way, what is a z report? is it the lsmw? -
Check Duplicate PO No. By Sales Document Type with irrespective of customer
Dear Team,
Requirement: PO No. shouldn't repeat in the particular Sales document type.
Currently :
1. I have set the configuration in VOV8, Check po no.--A
2.and set the warning to error by using T-code OVAH (E)
This setting satisfy only ---PO no. is check's by customer wise in that particular sales document type..(not for other customer)
I mean if i use the same PO No. with other customer in same sales document type it is accepting(it is not giving error message)
so I need here to check PO no. by sales document type irrespective of customer nos.
So please guide me regarding this
Thanks
YRH SPHello SP,
The system behaviour is correct, let us take an example.
I have a customer and he raises a purchase order and sends us the info.. against which we place a sales order and this PO number provided by customer is added in the sales order and it is used for tracking.. however when hewants to place a new order he will raise a different PO.. it will hav a different PO number...
Having said that there are chances that two different customers are using the same number range for their purchase order documents and place order with same PO numbers.. in this case system shouldn't ristrict us from creating sales order for both of them, hence system checks based on customer and not based on sales doc type..
as far as my understanding gose you need to go in for custom development to fulfill your requirement.

Hi all. I recently restore my old iphone 5 on my new 6. I'm having problems with bluetooth devices. The ones that were already paired with the old one are not showing in the list, and most of them(not all) are not working or pairing. I already restored network settings to no avail. Any ideas?
What's more, they don't even show on the bluetooth devices list..

Hi,
When I create a sales order with reference to a Quote, the pricing condition types are duplicating. Same is happening when subsequent documents like Billing, credit memo request and credit memo are created. Particularly, the condition types are doubled/tripled/.... in the subsequent documents. Because of this, pricing net value is calculated wrong. For example, freight charges getting added twice. I searched the forum and found similar issue was discussed at Condition types - Doubling UP raised by forum member Sridhar Vijjhalwar, however there is no solution added in it.
Has any other member came across this issue and resolved?
I have checked the access sequence and exclusive indicators are checked. Copy controls are also checked, looked good and I tested by adding copying type D/G. Checked OSS note also and found one OSS note 1459807 - Invoice has missing/incorrect conditions when created from a sales order.
but it is not solving the problem either. Issue also elevated to SAP for their investigation. Our system is SAP ECC 6.0 - EHP6.
Quote Pricing:
Sales order Pricing:
I appreciate any pointers to resolve the issue.
Regards, what was the scenario, and how did you replicate?
It is a configuration for a new project (France country), however we found that the same issue popping up for existing business processes also. As for replicating, we just tried the same procedures, the issue is found in subsequent documents.
If you have observed one notable thing is - all the condition types which duplicated were Z Conditions, and the standard conditions were never duplicated at least in my case.
In our case even standard condition types like MWST, SKTO, GRWR, VPRS also shows duplicating.
if you can throw about the business process?
As you have mentioned order created with reference to quote was only the straight forward scenario?
I tested other scenario also, like creating a sales order, then delivery and then billing. In this case in billing document, the condition types are duplicating. If I create a credit memo request against the billing document, then it further duplicating.
I am not sure what is causing this. I initially thought it may be copy control settings pertaining to the new project, however other business documents also has the same issue. Other business are using different document types.
Thanks for your follow-up.

Document Type with a later posting date
Hi,
We are on SAP B1 2005 PL50.
We occasionally get the message " There is a document of this type with a later posting date" while posting AP invoices. It happens to some AP invoices only because other invoices get added even though the document is posted with a prior posting date then what is in existence
Please advice, what could be causing this.
Thanks
AsifHi Mohamed,
If there is a document existing in the database with a posting date later
than the current one, this system message will pop up.
This system message works based on the following setting:
Under Administration -> System Initialisation -> Document Settings ->
Tab 'General' is a tickbox 'Block Documents with Earlier Date'.
If this box is ticked, the error message 'There is a document of this
type with a later posting date.' is received and the document
cannot be added. This affects the following documents:
- AR and AP Invoice
- AR and AP Credit Memo
- AR and AP Reserve Invoice
If the box is unticked, the system displays the message: 'There is a
document of this type with a later posting date. CONTINUE or
CANCEL.' If 'Continue' is chosen, the document can be added.
It is not possible to turn this off message.
Hope it helps.

Making condition type mandatory for a particular po document type
I have 2 po document type namely local po and international po. i want a particular condition type ZLCS to be picked automatically as soon as the user picks the po document type.
Hi,
You may check the condition technique through a new condition table with PO document type. You may proceed as below:
You may append the standard MM condition structure to include the PO document type field (in structure KOMPAZ), with the help of abapers . Add the field to condition catalogue in the path: OLME - Conditions - Define Price Determination Process - Extend Field Catalog for Condition Tables.
Now, you can create condition table with document type field in M/03. Maintain the condition table in the access sequence in M/07. Assign the access sequence to condition type in M/06. Include the condition type in pricing procedure. Maintain condition record for the condition type with required document type in MEK1.
Check the procedure and revert back in case of any doubts.

VikasHi
In sd doc tyoes in t code vov8 in the general control tab you can define mandatory referance and in that you can choose option C which means the referance doc should be only a sales doc not enquiry or quotation

Defaulting a particular PO document type for a user
Dear Experts,
My requirement is that whenever I execute tranaction ME21N to create a PO, I want the system to default a particular document type (for example..CAPEX PO or Standard PO). In the present scenario, if I dont notice the PO type there are high chances of me creating the PO inder wrong document type.
Is there a solution to this?
Thanks,
Boby MathewHi,
SPROMMPurchasing--Define Default Values for Document Type.
Here maintain doc type against ME21N whichever you want to be defaulted. If ME21N is not there then Just define it and maintain the pur doc type.
