Online Store Issue - Unsecure page

I have a problem with my online store and the product ordering process.
1.  A customer recently advised that their "browser says your website is untrusted when I clicked on the buy now button".
2.  I could not replicate this error, however, when I clicked on CHECK OUT, I was taken to an UNSECURE page:

I was using Chrome.
A friend tried the process on his computer using Chrome - it took him correctly to a SECURE page.
I tried the process again on Internext Explorer and Firefox - I was taken correctly to a SECURE page.  Yet, it always goes to un UNSECURE page on my computer when I use Chrome.
Are the two above problems related?
Is there a fix please?

I have already been contacted. I informed them that I will be returning the entire order upon receipt. It is unacceptable to me to have to chase things down like this. Better testing between your store front and the Amazon site should have been done.
Your support staff was not empowered to make a?decision about a mere 40 dollars.
I cannot do business with companies like Creative. I will still enjoy the 2 sets of Creative PC speakers I have purchased, but I will never purchase another Creative product.

    The link in your example - https://www.gmx.com/ - is loading non- secure content from http://themes.googleusercontent.com/
    The lock will display only if everything on the page is secure - in this case it's not.
    As Safari has no way of knowing if theme.googleusercontent.com is going to be transmitting or receiving content that should be encrypted, then the overall page is in no way secure, and as such Safari won't display the lock icon.
    This is correct behaviour - it would be dangerous to users to identify pages as secure when they're clearly not.
    Reloading the page above uses cached copies of the fonts, thus no insecure connection is required on the reload. The issue in the link above (GMX) is not a Safari issue, just really bad web development by whomever built the site and mixed secure and insecure content.

  • How can I file a formal complaint with the Apple Online Store Canada?

    I've spoken to two customer service representatives at this point about an order that I cancelled within a half an hour of placing it, as I was initially unaware that the product I purchased would not fit my sister's iPhone. As stated in the Cancelled Order portion of the following page: http://store.apple.com/ca/help/viewing_changing_orders#cancel, I should NOT have been billed for the order. I was billed last Friday and am still yet to receive the refund, despite the fact that the first rep I spoke to advised that my money would be refunded in one day. The statement on the link I provided is completely misleading, as well as the email I received stating that I would not be charged at all. Someone with Apple must amend this statement on the website and the automated emails, as it could be considered legally misleading. I will in no way be pursuing any legal action, as I don't have the time and I'm only out $90.00, but I can't imagine having purchased the MacBook that I wanted to purchase prior to this incident and going through an ordeal like this again. Can someone please advise who I should contact and where I can find their contact information please? I love the apple products that I own and would hate to discontinue my customer relationship with the company.

    Also, please remember that no refund from any store is instantaneous. They will process the refund, probably within 24 - 48 hours. After that, your bank/credit card company has to credit your account....... mine takes at least 3 business days to do so (the banks are very efficient in posting charges, but like to keep the money for a couple of days before giving it back to you - they've been doing that for years).
    Edit: I just checked their return/refunds policy and it includes this:
    Once we receive your item, a refund is initiated immediately. If you canceled a pickup item, and you were billed for it, we initiate your refund immediately after you submit your cancel request. The way your refund is processed depends on your original payment method:

  • IPhone Developer Program (Apple Online Store not available in my country)

    I registered to the iPhone Developer Program (at the beginning of the beta) and a few weeks back i received an e-mail from Apple, that i can enroll to the Developer Program. I clicked on the link in the e-mail, and it brought me to a country selection page, where i had to select which country's Apple Online Store i want to use to purchase the product (the Apple Developer Program). The problem is my country (Hungary) don't have an Online Store, so i couldn't finish the enrollment process.
    Can anyone help me about this issue? Is there any other way to purchase it?

  • Is anyone else having problems with the Canon Online Store?

    In the last month or so, I've had one problem after another with the Canon Online Store; from being unable to delete items from the shopping cart; to not being able to add "in stock" items; disappearing Wish Lists; and just now, I tried to add one lens cap to the 6 or 7 items I already had in the Shopping Cart, and they disappeared.
    I've called, more than once, and I've written, also more than once, to Canon Support about this, but they ignore what I tell them, and tell me there are no problems with the Online Store.  They don't even seem to report to anyone that anyone has complained, because each time is "the first time", even though I've called (more than once) and written (more than once) to them about continuing Online Stores problems.
    Is anyone else having problems with the Canon Online Store?
    Why does Canon not care to track reported problems with the storefront part of their web-site? 
    I'm not trying to insult Canon, it's just that I've been a Canon customer for less than 3 months, and the're only batting .333, so far.  Canon Support was very quick to respond about a concern I had that a 50mm f/1.4 I had just purchased was authentic or not.  In trying to register that lens, I looked up on the Canon web site where to find the serial number.  Since my new lens did not have any numbers there, I was concerned I had been sold a fake.  But, then Canon Support sent me link to a different online document that showed a few different places where it might be, and there it was. 
    Is Canon like that with other problems, as well?  Or is their "batting" average better than my very limited experience? 
    I just love my Rebel T5i, and my Canon lenses (from "the Kit brothers of the Cropped Frame coral":  EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM, and EF-S 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM; to the "Truly Nifty Fifty", the 50mm f/1.4 USM, [the f/1.8 is just a "thrifty fifty"], and finally, the "Super-Macro" MP-E 65mm f/2.8 1x-5x Macro)!

    I only use my desktop PC to access Canon's web site, and I've been using Mozilla Firefox for years.  And, yes, it is the latest version.  Since Canon REFUSES to support the use of Firefox on it's web site, WHAT BROWSER DOES CANON SUPPORT?  WHEN did Canon STOP SUPPORTING Firefox?
    I've been told that there are 2 pending orders in my account.  Yet, I NEVER placed those orders!  WHY CAN'T CANON SEE THAT THIS IS A PROBLEM??? 
    Instead of off-target suggestions, and pasted boilerplate REFUSALS TO EVEN LOOK at this issue, I would prefer it if Canon went "old school", and FIXED THE PROBLEM, in the first place!  But, maybe that's a bit too grown up of an answer for you! 
    "Award-winning" support???   And, just exactly WHAT AWARD did Canon "support" WIN for CONSISTANTLY IGNORING REPORTED PROBLEMS???  The OSTRICH?
    Please pull your head out, and FIX this problem, OR YOU ARE THE PROBLEM!!!

  • New to BC and in desperate need of help setting up my online store!

    So, I'm nearing the tear-your-hair-out stage of attempting to set up an online store.
    I'm brand new to BC, and the only reason we're trying it out is because Adobe claims the integration for e-commerce is so easy.  Ahem.  I created a Muse website for a client ( http://themenschonabench.businesscatalyst.com/index.html ).  For the time being, I just want to offer ONE item to be purchased through the 'cart' page.  Can anyone give me easy to follow instructions on how to go about this?  I've watched a million tutorials and haven't found one that SIMPLY explains how to link one product to a template I've already established in Muse.

    Yeah, Muse.
    Muse is a basic site creator that steps you into the web world. For that it is really good and quite nice useability. But that is as far as it goes for now, It does not support more complex website features such as the eCommerce directly.
    You need to have a beter understanding of html, css and javascript to utliise all of BC eCommerce properly, but without that knowledge if you just develop it in the BC Admin you can get something produced.

    1. On page definition for page 1 of the Demo Online Store, under Templates in the Shared Components column, click on the Product List (custom) report template link.
    2. In the report template, under Column Templates, in the Column Template 1..3 Expressions replace *3* in the mod(#ROWNUM#,3) expressions with *2*: mod(#ROWNUM#,2).
    3. On page definition for page 1 of the Demo Online Store, under Regions in the Page Rendering column, click on the Report ink for the Latest products region.
    4. Under Layout and Pagination, change the Number of Rows to *4*.
    5. Reset pagination for the report by shutting down and restarting the browser, or in the URL, i.e. add 'RP' in the clear cache position to give something like http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=4374:1:909254963512274:::RP::

    These people are form Russia, but don't let that put you of, they are the people behind F-Cart, X-Cart and LiteCommerce.
    Ecwid is really amazing, I  tried setting up a store and got it working in minutes. Pasting the code in the main content area of an empty page (both static and CMS-based)  is all it takes. It works great with some nifty touches like dragging and dropping into your bag. It is lightning fast and customisable through CSS.
    The software is in beta, meaning that they are adding things as they go.
    As it is now, I cannot use it since some things that are specific to my country (mainly payments other than Google Checkout and Paypal) are not yet supported. But if you are in the US you can already make a fully functional webstore, for free.
    So all you webheads check it out.

  • Sharepoint 2013 online mobile issue.

    Dear all,
    When I try to fill out a form in mobile view on the iphone or android phone, the person or group column doesn't work at all.
    And when I try to approve a workflow I created with 2010 workflow, the page is just blank.
    basically everything is so broken under mobile view, but works under pc view on the phone.
    Anyone has any quick fix to this? I really need the mobile view to work properly. I know I can disable the mobile view, but I have to keep it. Thanks.

    According to your post, my understanding is that you had Sharepoint 2013 online mobile issues.
    Please make sure you configure the mobile view correctly. You can refer to:

  • EVE-Online gameplay issues

    Hi All,
    First time posting an issue, these forums have been such a great help that I haven't needed anything else yet.
    Anyway, I have a post up at the EVE-Online forums stating the following:
    I am using Arch32 currently and have issues with the Minmatar Stargates. Every time I get within 1500m of a gate, my client completely freezes for 20 to 25 seconds then becomes available for about 3 to 5 seconds before freezing up again.
    Has anyone else had an issue with Arch Linux and Eve? I have tried it with Ubuntu 7.10, but feel like ubuntu runs extremely slow on my computer after a few days.
    Anyway, I am using Wine .9.4.56-1 with the premium install (premium content disabled).
    I have searched the forums, tried several things and to no avail. Docked is great, space is great, gates really suck!
    Help me out please?!

    Now, I haven't had a chance to check any other stargates, but I know there have to be a few Arch users that have had some experience with EVE-Online.

    I've been playing eve-online since November on wine as a Minmatar and I haven't come across any freezing issues with their gates. My system is an AMD Athlon-XP 2600+ system with a 128MB 6600gt video card using wine-0.9.57. Have you tried http://wiki.winehq.org/UsefulRegistryKeys ? I have OffscreenRenderingMode set to fbo and VideoMemorySize set to use my full graphics memory. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

I returned to the place where I bought it, 2 and a half weeks later (futureshop), and they said their all sold-out, so I called another authorized apple reseller (London Drugs) if they have any available, they said they do not have and if I would to like to be in their 15 page waiting list. So I thought, I'd just order in the online store since the shipping time has move down to just 1-2 weeks. But the problem is I do not own a credit card and I only own a paypal account. I still have the money that I got from selling my iPad and I'd like to use it. Does the apple canada online store accept paypal or debit card? if not, is there any other online store that accepts paypal and/or debit card in Canada? and how much does it cost to ship it?     I'm running windows 7 and every time I try to open the online store it says it has a problem and closes. I've tried reinstalling and it still doesn't work????

    entered "netsh winsock reset" in command prompt which did seem to fix the 100% CPU usage atleast for the moment.
    Are any LSPs (other than Bonjour) appearing in the Winsock providers tab in Autoruns?

  • I ordered and received an iPad2 less than 7 days ago from Apple online store. Why was it not shipped with iOS5?

    I am extremely surprised that on ordering an iPad2 last Thursday from the online store, and receiving it Friday (excellent delivery service nonetheless) I now find it is not iOS5 (after trying to buy, download and install Numbers). I have not yet upgraded to iOS5 on my iPods and iPhones due to issues experienced by friends so am reluctant to upgrade a brand new iPad after installing apps and content over the weekend.
    I am assuming I should have been shipped an iOS5 version?

    6 weeks is far from "ages".
    The iPad you received was eithe Ron the pipeline getting shipped or simply sitting on a shelf when iOS 5 was released to the manufacturing plant before it could have iOS 5 installed.

    You are planning on calling about iOS 5 not being installed?
    If so, why not simply install it?
    There's no benefit to you or the factory doing it.
