OPA Launch error due to invalid value in Siebel regex error

Hi All,
Consider OPA launch from Siebel if there are 1000 attribute's on global and out of these 1000's 300 have a regular expression check if for one of the attribute in Siebel database value does not fit into reg-ex criteria OPA launch will fail. but logs won't reveal for which value OPA launch has failed. How will I be able to find out the Column Public name or field which has invalid value in OPA.

Thanks for reply the limitaion is not that system validates the data befor picking up from Siebel. That is a good thing we need to ensure we get proper data whenevr we try to launch form but the greatest limitation is that it does not provide the public name due to which form launch is failing even in the application logs. If it would have provided the public name atleast person could have gone and rectified the data to fit in regex criteria. I am here pointing out the limitation of logging not that Why application is checking data.
I am happy that application validates it but I am not happy that application does not tell me why it is failing.

However you can generate the reprt of attributes containing regex by copying properties file changing the extention to xml opening it in excel and using filter to see what attributes have regex after that you can make corresponding SQL queries to point out which column contains incorrect data and maybe you can ven clean it using SQL.

As Sunil Said, you can repair your Master data Infoobject in RSRV. It's better to reload your Master Data again. Are you running your Query by Key date? If yes, Key Date works only on Time Dependent Master Data.

I created a site column at the root of my site and I have publishing turned on. I selected the Hyperlink with formatting and constraints for publishing.
I went to my subsite and added the column. The request was to have "Open in new tab" for their hyperlinks. I was able to get the column to be added and yesterday we added items without a problem.
The problem arose when, today, a user told me that he could not edit the hyperlink. He has modify / delete permissions on this list.
He would edit the item, in a custom list, and click on the address "click to add a new hyperlink" and then he would get the error below after succesfully putting in the Selected URL (http://www.xxxxxx.com), Open
Link in New Window checkbox, the Display Text, and Tooltip:
"Message from Webpage There was an error in the browser while setting properties into the page HTML, possibly due to invalid URLs or other values. Please try again or use different property values."
We are on IE 9.0.8.1112 x86, Windows 7 SP1 Enterprise Edition x64
The farm is running SharePoint 2010 SP2 Enterprise Edition August 2013 CU Mark 2, 14.0.7106.5002
and I saw in another post, below with someone who had a similar problem and the IISreset fixed it, as did this problem. I wonder if this is resolved in the latest updated CU of SharePoint, the April 2014 CU?

We had the same issue after applying the SP2 & August CU. we open the case with MSFT and get the same resolution as you mentioned.
I blog about this issue and having the office reference.
Later MSFT release the Hotfix for this on December 10, 2013 which i am 100% positive should be part of future CUs.
So if you apply the April CU then you will be fine.

Bogus error message: "The field jnlp has an invalid value: https."

We are running into a variant of an old bug. With a Windows XP client using JRE 1.5.0_05, we get:
{noformat}Launch File Error: The field <jnlp> has an invalid value: https
Java 1.4+ is required for HTTPS support{noformat}
which of course is a strange thing for a 1.5 JRE to be squawking about. We found a Sun bug report 6433293 that reports this behavior as occuring on Solaris but not on Windows. We're seeing it on Windows. The bug report suggests that the error message text is the "wrong message" and may be totally unrelated to the actual problem (although it is triggered by having an https URL in the "href" attribute of the <jnlp> tag).
Because of our customer environment, upgrading the JRE beyond 1.5.0_05 is NOT an option for us. I googled the message and found one blogpost that suggested the error may be related to the XML encoding (which seems surprising, but they claimed changing the encoding fixed the problem for them). I tried fiddling with the encoding values, but to no avail. Anyone know anything about this bug, and any possible workarounds?

We finally found the solution to this, so I will follow up for the sake of posterity. Thanks, Andrew, for the pointer to JaNeLa. While it didn't tip us off to this particular problem, it did get us thinking in the right direction: that there was something about the JNLP file, completely unrelated to what the error message was reporting, that was causing the problem. Turns out that the Java 1.5.0_05 WebStart JNLP parser had a bug, such that it was tripped up by a JNLP file containing more than one XML comment in immediate succession. It seems unbelievable, but it was completely reproducible. Our JNLP file began like this:

Calling report from FORM - error Invalid value of paramente 'P_YEAR'

Could you please help me to figure out what is going wrong
with my form which run a report?
I am using Developer suite 10g.
when i run report from report application it run fine,
but when i call that report from a form it gives me error.
I have checked the datatype, checked the parameter value
that I assign from form is available in the report parameter value.
What else do i have to check in order to run this report
from the form.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

I would try uninstalling and reinstalling following the directions in here:
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8

Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order and then restart your computer:

Important: Uninstalling these components in a different order, or only uninstalling some of these components may have unintended affects.
Let us know if following that article and uninstalling those components in that order helped the situation.

i am working with webdynpro abap and using work flow in my component , here i am getting error and the error is

its showing the error in windows parameter : wi_id and the wi_id is type sww_wiid
and the same parameter i am using in application parameter .
can u suggest me how to use this parameter wi_id in window parameter and application parameter and what the type should be for wi_id parameter.and what the value should be for application parameter wi_id.

Invalid value for parameter error when value is in list of allowed parameters

I have some documents with a lot of paragraph styles that have been organized into groups. I have a simple script that is meant to ungroup these styles and delete the now-empty groups.

The error I receive is (emphasis mine):

As you can see, my pickle is that my value is of an allowed type. This only happens in some documents, and there's nothing that obviously distinguishes those documents from the ones in which it works.
One thing I've noticed is that the error sometimes takes a while to appear (a minute or so), but none of the styles have been moved once I click OK. So, I don't know if it's specific to one style. I doubt it, only because other documents with the same style set work.
Can anyone shed any light on what this error could mean in this context? I definitely have an activeDocument, so what could cause a Document to not be a Document?

Errors on IMAQ Train SVM due to invalid number of labels in weighted cost

I get errors when I try to train texture using 'IMAQ Train SVM' due to invalid number of labels in weighted cost. I could not find much information about weighted cost for the 'Model Options' input. What type of label needs to be supplied and how many? I could not find any related information in NIVisionConcepts document. Are there any other references?

According to this help document you need an array of labels and weight. Make sure you initialize the array when you use the VI and have the appropriate amount of elements in the array.

Vivado 2013.4 ERROR: [IP_Flow 19-395] Problem validating against XML schema: Invalid value format for this type spirit:order

Hello,
I just downloaded and installed Vivado 2013.4 on my Xubuntu 12.04 machine. But when I try to add IP from the IP catalog, as in the ug937 Lab1 step2, it fails with obscure error messages (see below).
Here's basically what I did:
-In the Flow Navigator, i select the IP Catalog button.
-In the search field of the IP Catalog, I type DDS.
-then I double-click the DDS Compiler and my error occure.

We had the same problem when switching to Ubuntu 14.04, and there actually is a solution for it: make sure your locales are set to English.
$> env | grep LC_*
should only show english (or C) locales, all others are known to cause parsing errors in some numbers, usually caused by wrong string-to-float conversions (e.g. 18,29 in german is 18.29 in english). You can change the locales in the file /etc/default/localesThis is not the first time we had problems with the locale settings, Xilinx does not seem to test their software with anything else than en_US, causing obscure bugs like this one.

Hi everyone,
I'm installing SAP HANA for the first time and im having troubles when the unified installer gets to the installation of the lifecycle manager. Im getting the following error:

I just re-ran the HLM package using the following procedure:
1) download SAPHANALM06_0-10012745.SAR
2) copy SAPHANALM06_0-10012745.SAR to the /tmp/hanainstdir/hlm_install
3) Ensure SAPHOSTAGENT is above level 149, advisable to update it to the latest level. Level 153 till today.
4) go to the extracted temp directory and run ./hdbinst
Just click enter when prompt if you are running single Hana Database.
SAP HANA Lifecycle Manager Installation kit detected.
SAP HANA Database Installation Manager - SAP HANA HLM Installation 1.50.00.000000
Options:

Installation was successful. However, I noticed in the log that this time --certificates_hostmap option was not set to any value at all, but still installation went tru fine.

Hi Sravan, this means that one or more of the fields are required to be filled in or have validation set up on them so that the information entered matches a certain criteria. Make sure what's entered matches what's required. If the form still can't be
submitted, check the rules set in InfoPath and the list/library to see what's causing the error(s).
