Opening an adobe form within a form

I have multiple forms made in lifecycle designer es to order different products. Is there a way I can create a button on one form to open anyone of the other forms and the opend form just add to the second page of the existing form?
Say I have Form 1, 2, 3 & 4
I have form 1 open and I also need to order products from form 3....so rather than minimizing my current form and having to open form 3 fill it out and submit 2 different forms.......can I just select form 3 somehow on form 1 and it will add to the second page?

You could consider rolling all the associated forms into one and simply hiding those that are not needed
until a relevant selection is made - then use the setfocus event (or similar) to take you there.
I dont know of any way to import an entire form into another dynamically... but i could be wrong
Having form open other things locally gets tricky becuase acrobat/reader is quite touchy about security functions also -

Error while opening the ADOBE FORM via mail

Hi to all,
I have created a program to attached ADOBE FORM to mail.
When I execute the program, it sends ADOBE FORM to my mail ID successfully.
But when I open my mail and try to open attached ADOBE FORM, it gives error
ADOBE READER COULD NOT OPEN u2018PDF FORM (1). PDFu2019 because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged ( for example, it was sent as an email attached and wasnu2019t correctly decoded).
Please can any tell me, what the problem is and what the solution is for that?

I found out that firs time an form is opened it takes longer than next times. Has anyone some good documentation

I would say that this is caused by the Adobe Reader on the PC, not by the portal itself.

Open PDF Adobe form from workitem in UWL

Hi,
We have a requirement in which a workitem is gettng generated from workflows, And it comes in UWL, So when we execute that workitem it should open a adobe form for notificaton so that approver can reject or approve that notificaton in PDF, But it is openng a SAP transaction rather then adobe form.
we are on ECC 5.0 and portal verion is 7. we are using standard workflow WS5000041 which generates the workitem. It works perfectly fine in ECC 6.0, As there are different standard workflows in ECC 6.0 but the working is same.

I think you might have missed out to configure the respective task ID and its respective visualization parameters in the SWFVISU transaction.
Iam not sure what is exactly the flow in the ECC5.0 but if you look at the workflow template , it again incudes a subworkflow, in which you actually have the approve form standard task the task number is TS50000075 and in the swfvisu txn the task is already configured with visualization paramters as Webdynpro aplication and Name sape sa SAP, I think you have to add one more parameter in the DYNPARAM

How can I hide the option to "Open in Adobe Forms Central" in embedded responses.

I created a Web based form and the responses received through same are available in an web page (through embed code). Now I wish to limit the ability of those viewing same to export the data in XLS format. For this one thing I need to somehow enable is to remove the "Open in Adobe Forms Central" as the export to XLS option is only available there.
Looking forward to your responses.

So, is it standart to see the "choose network" option (below the bootable volumes)
in te start up manager (option-boot) ?

We are in Portal implementation face with ECC6 EHP4 and Portal EHP1
We have developed adobe form using HCM forms and processes and done the required configuration in SPRO
When we are trying to open the form from ESS we are getting below error
404 not found
The requested resource does not exist.
Please look into this issue and let us know any thing we are missing

that error meand webservices are not wroking and pdf services not able to capture.
In NWDS goto the webservice prosperctive and test the Adobedocumentservicesec . If it works fine then ok ohterwise some problem in ADS.

Getting javascript error while opening offline adobe forms sent via email.

ERROR: script failed(language is formcalc,context is xfa[0].form[0].data[0].FORM[0].

I have written the code in Javascript and run at client.
Below is my sample code:

I have made Show -> click and Language -> Javascript and Run at -> Client for the button 'ADD'(this button inserts line) and in the blank space i have written the code as stated above.
Then,i have activated the form.
As per the Submit button it is working fine...
I am new to adobe forms and i have done a self-training for this..
Maybe I am doing something wrong...

How to open WD- Adobe form open in new window -without Portal header

In my WD application -MAINVIEW , I made 2 different groups under ROOTUIELEMENTCONTAINER
GROUP1 -Selection fields with search button - with ROW LAYOUT
GROUP2 -INTERACTIVE FORM - with FLOW Layout
Basically when we click the Search button I get the form in the same view underneath GROUP1.
I am calling this WD application in Portal by giving the hyperlink via BSP application.So when they run the WD application now With portal headers it is still becomming heightwise small area.
Is there a way with which we can open form in completely new window without the Portal Headers?

You have to be aware, though, that you will lose ALL your context data b/c you are opening a new user session. That's why I had to use url parameters to pass data to my form.

SOFFICEINTEGRATION143 Error in ISR when trying opening adobe form layout

I'm running into SOFFICEINTEGRATION143 error when trying to open any adobe form layout in the ISR secenario definition. Can anyone let me know why I'm getting this error and what the solution is?
FYI, I'm using SAP gui version 640 Final Release, File Version 6404.4.14.2987, build 781208, Patch level 14
I do have Adobe LifeCycle Designer 7.1, Reader 8 and MSOffice 2002.

I think I m having similar problem. I installed Sap Gui 7.1, SAP interactive form and Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES.
I was able to open abode form layout in the transaction SFP. However, after I upgraded my Adobe to 7.0.9. (previous version is 7.x.x). I get the error SOFFICEINTEGRATION143 when try open again.
I uninstalled Adobe 7.0.9 and installed Adobe 8.1 but it still get the same error.
Can anyone help?

Please check following things:
1) xml configuration file has entry for your workitem.
2) if not please configure workitem.
3) Re-register your system.
4) Also check for Adobe run time environment.

Problem in submit button on adobe form integrated with web dynpro

Hello,
I'm facing prob in triggering web dynpro event onSubmit for Interactive form.
I've created a submit button from web dynpro activex pallete on adobe form (integrated with web dynpro) to send the form as email.
Then in the web dynpro view where this form is embedded i have created an action against onSubmit event and called a method within this.
However, on clicking Submit button this event is not getting triggered.
Please let me know what is lacking in this process?

When you create the Adobe Form from WebDynpro, you need to follow one step in SFP Transaction or inSE80 transaction. Open the Adobe Form in any one the transaction and now in SAP menu bar "Utilities" in that you will find the "INSERT THE WEBDYNPRO SCRIPT" just click on that one. Then you will see a new Script Object is being created with the name "ContainerFoundation_JS" under the "Variables" in the Heirarchy of the Object Pallete of the Adobe Form.
This step is mandatory to use the SUBMIT Button of the "WebDynpro Native", to trigger the OnSubmit event of the WebDynpro.

Adobe form layout version retrival

Hi Experts,
I have a problem in opening the adobe form layout.I am facing an error message error while opening the document.I checked in the production system same problem there also.
it is possbile to retrevive the older version of layout?
Adobe life cylce designer is installed properly. But i am able to open the layout of another adobe form in another development system.
Please suggest me on this.
