Operation number count from er_src on x86?

Hello all,
according to several reports and manuals
it should be possible to get the number of load, store, calc
operations in, for example, innermost loops from
the compiler comments. This is done by using er_src
after compilation with -g -xO4 etc.
But all I can usually get using Sun C 5.8 Patch 121016-03 are the
higher level loop transformation comments.
Is this specific to the x86 platform, that is, is this feature of instruction counts
only vailable on the SPARC platform?
Thanks in advance,
bugchucker

Hi,
Your observation is correct.
Currently compiler commentary support in Sun Studio 11 compilers
for x86/64 is limited to reporting higher level transformations
(front-end or intermediate level optimizations).
Commentary messages specific to x86 code generation will be
introduced in a future release. The level of detail and flavor
of the messages will be similar (but not necessarily identical)
to what is available for SPARC platform now.
Thanks

This forum is for Apple's defunct office suite 'AppleWorks' - since the word count is not in the places you mention I assume you are talking about Microsoft Word? Though it's just possible someone in this forum might also use Word and know the answer, you would stand a higher chance of getting an answer in Microsoft's own forums. You could also try asking in the forum applicable to your operating system - Lion, Mavericks or whatever - on the reasonably chance of finding someone familiar with Word.

  • Operation number from Work Order to Auto-Generated PR

    Hello All PM Experts,
I have activated the business function:
    LOG_EAM_OLC Operation Account Assignment
This enable me to calculate cost in for operation level in Maintenance Order.
I have also done the required customizing: Define Cost Setting at Operation Level in SPRO
and have define which Order Type will have cost at operation level.
I create an externally process order (External Service) and after that release the order to automatically generate the Purchase Requisition.
However, when  I checked the created PR, in the account assignment Tab...only the order number is displayed and the operation number for the order is blank. (not automatically copied)
This cause a problem to me during the Purchase Order Creation and the Service Entry Process, which requires me to enter the operation number since I have activate the account assignment at operation level. But, since the PR is automatically generated from Maintenance Order, I can't enter it manually...
Is there any missing customizing which still need to be done?
is this problem need to be solved in the PM side or the Purchase Requisition side?
    Please help
    Many Thanks
    DT

I don't think that it is possible in standard.

  • IW32: Assignments deleted from service order after editing operation number

    Dear SAP gurus,
I have a problem with a service order containing muiltiple operations.
When I change the order in IW32 and I edit the operation number of only one operation, the assignments of ALL the operations and suboperations are deleted.
Can anyone tell me if it's normal behaviour to delete assignments from operations when they are edited? Or is there a way to avoid this (apart from not editing the operation positions)?
Thanks in advance and kind regards,
    Jermey!

The assignments are deleted whenever one of the operations is edited. This can be:
    - changing the operation position to reorder the operations;
    - deleting one of the operations;
    - making changes in the component list of one of the operations.
The result is always the same: all the assignments of all the operations are deleted.
The problem seems to be a lot bigger than it appeared at first. We asked SAP for support and they are trying to solve the problem right now. It seemes that the MRS add-on causes the assignments to disappear.
    Update:
SAP created a note to resolve this problem. It's note number 1255589.
    Anyway, thanks for your responses.
    Kind regards,
    Jermey

  • File Adapter - how to get the file count from a folder

    Hi All,
I have a requirement that have to poll a directory when the file count is reached to number N (ex:number of files avilable in folder is 5) otherwise it should wait and not pick any of the files. Is it possible to get the file count from a folder using file adapter ?? otherwise please suggest me an approach to achieve this requirement.
    Thanks,
    JJ

    Hi Sarath,
    Thank you for your reply.
Go with the list files operation of file adapter it will gives you the number of files in the specified folder as you given. . - this step is already done.
When the number of files reaches your count startup your webservice that which can polls the files. . . - how can i acheive this?? Have to poll the directory and process the number files - please let me know, what could be added to the webservice which is being invoked after cheking file count from parent process.
The reason for the above question is - we cannot use ReadFile operation in second webservice because it will be automatically triggered when the file is avilable. Also SyncRead operation supports reading one file in b/w bpel process. Kindly explain me the implementation steps.
    Thanks,
    JJ

  • Wrong Operation number(Activity  Number) showing in Production Order

    Friends
I have created a production order.
Wrong Operation number(Activity  Number - RESBD-VORNR) is  showing for some of the Production Order components(all are phantom components only)   where as the activity number in its  Routing components (RCM01-VORNR) is different. So we need to change the activity to correct activity manually in change production order screen(CO02)
I found one  SAP Note 104322 - Error in reallocating phantom (When reallocating phantom components in a production order to another operation, different errors can occur:
--  not all dependent components are allocated to the correct operation). We are on ECC 5.0 . This note already exists in our system
This issue happened only with one BOM . Many other BOMs ( similar type) donot have this issue.
Can some one from the group help me to resolve this issue?
    Thanks in advance
Please let me know if you guys need more details
    Thanks
    MVSSAI

    Hi MVSSAI,
I am just a bit confused if you are talking about wrong operation nos. or wrong activity nos. If I am correct, it should be wrong operation nos. which fetches the activities that are defined in that work center.
If wrong operation nos. is getting selected then
Please check if the system is configured with alternative sequence under T.Code: CA01 for a particular group & group counter (just in case you are using nos. of routings for the single material).
If yes, then check if you have defined priority of the sequence i.e. in which order it has to taken.
If yes, further check if you have aligned automatic routing selection depending upon the B.O.M. alternatives in routing itself.
Just in case you have maintained any of these the routing will get automatically selected depending upon the priority that is given to work center and hence different operation nos.

  • Getting counts from detail tables

I have multiple record bock that displaye a list of cell ids and their attributes; each record also displays record counts of its 3 detail tables.
Originally, the POST-QUERY trigger select the counts (3 detail tables) as part of the data block for each record (or cell id). There are over 16K records, so each record query issues 3 selects. The whole query toke over a minute. I was asked to improve the retrieval time.
At first I thought perhaps I could put the 3 counts in 3 separate data blocks and issue one query each in a "select cell_id, count(*). . . group by cell_id" but scrolling would not synchronize with the other blocks. So I dropped that idea.
Next, I added a program unit from which the WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE trigger calls after execute_query. It issues "select cell_id, count(*). . . group by cell_id" (one for each detail table) and fills the count columns in the original data block. However I need to set the block property Query All Records to YES so that the cell ids and attributes are filled first. That means that before the form comes up it has to retrieve all records. That saves me about 10-15 seconds od retrieval time and I lose the ability to quickly bring up the form.
Then I looked at using dfferent Query Data Source Types. I don't think I could do one query with counts of detail tables. Besides, some items (attrinutes) of the cell are upate-able.
Any ideas and suggestions will be appreciated.

Yes. I suggested adding columns to the master tables and introduce stored triggers.
Since the change is not trivial, according to management, they put in on hold.I'm not sure if you misunderstood my suggestion or were responding to a different post. The query I wrote was for counting the detail records on the fly rather than populating new columns. If you include the counting in your main query then you will probably not have a much slower query than if you don't show any counts at all. Scrolling through the block will be no slower than if you had no counts, because no extra processing needs to be done. (You'll still have to fetch the detail blocks for each row, so moving to the last record will still be slow - that's a bad indicator of the performance of a query.)
For example, fetching the objects for each user takes 5 seconds. When I include the number of tables, indexes and constraints for each user within the query the time only goes up to just under 9.

  • IPad unread email count doesn't tally with Microsoft Exchange 2007 email count from OWA.

I discovered that when we first setup the iPad to sync email from Microsoft Exchange 2007 server via ActiveSync, the total number of unread email count tally with the count from OWA. After a few days, the unread email count will be out of sync. The settings for iPad "Mail days to syn": No limit. Mail to show: 1000. iPad iOS: 5.1.1
    We performed the following:
    1.     Compare email by email to verify which are the read email from OWA doesn't sync to iPad. We discovered that some emails read from OWA doesn't sync with iPad even performed forced update. However, if we delete that read email from OWA, it will delete (unread) from iPad immediately after sync.
    2.     Email recall message for successful recalled displayed in OWA but not on iPad.
    3.     Calendar invite message forward as email displayed in OWA but not in iPad.
Is there a bug for Microsoft Exchange 2007 or there is limitation for iPad?
    Any kind expert can advice?
    Thanks.

Can you do setup an unread mail folder that shows all unread mail regardless of what folder it really is in on the iPhone mail program somehow?
    No.
If not, can this be submitted as an enhancement as it makes email use very cumbersome.
Yes. You can submit feedback to Apple: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html.

  • Alternative sequence - operations number

    Hi all,
I've got an issue on the alternative sequence.
The standard sequence is made by operation 10, 20 and 30.
I try to add a new alternative sequence to substitute the operation 20 with 2 different operations: 20 and 25.
The system give me an error on the routing: CP331 - Operation: date 28.04.2010: operation number incorrect.
I tried the option to change the standard sequence to 10, 20 and 40,  but the error is the same. The system checks the return operation (20) and is not possible to add operations into the alternative sequence with operations number greater than return operation.
It seems that is not possible to substitute 1 operation with 2 operations.
    Anyone has solved?
    Thanks, regards.

    Hi ,
Okay, you want to create an alternaive sequence only.
    Standard sequence is   10  20 30
    Alternate Sequence:
    1.Branch operation : 10
Number of the operation from which an alternative sequence is to replace the reference sequence.
    2. Return operation: 30
(number of the operation up to which an alternative sequence is to replace the reference sequence)
    Operations: 20, 25
    This should work.
    Please check and confirm.

  • File to Jdbc: how to get record count from DB table

    Hello,
i have a scenario file to JDBC....ihave to insert input file data to DB table.
now my requirement is ..if i insert a file with 50 records to db table on first time, and then next time if i insert the file with 100 records to db table....the count should start from 51 in db table.
if i insert another file 3rd time, with 25 records, the count shold start from 151...so how can i achieve this functionality....
    i think following options:
    1. in mapping write lookup to call JDBC sender channel and fetch count and map same to target filed of DB. if this is ok...please provide UDF code..2. db triggers (not suitable for my req.)
So kindly let meknow possible solutions and required UDF codes..please
    Thanks in advance...SARAN

    i think following options:
    Suggestions:
1)Create an id column in db table.  Talk to DB guy to create oracle sequencer for that column. So, every time you insert record that field will be updated with oracle sequencer. You dont need to handle this.
    Refer this link
    http://www.techonthenet.com/oracle/sequences.php
    2) If you want to handle via pi,  following suggestions..
If you use PI 7.1 or above, use jdbc lookup in the mapping and do the query  something like this
    Refer this link
    /people/jin.shin/blog/2008/02/15/sap-pi-71-mapping-enhancements-series-graphical-support-for-jdbc-and-rfc-lookups
    Do select query as below
    select count(*) from tablename;
the above query will return number of rows exist in the table. So use that value and map it in the target field.
If you use pi 7.0 or below then use the previous reply and do the UDF implementation for jdbc lookup during mapping. Because jdbc lookup does not support in those versions.
    Hope that helps.

On a typical system, by the way, you can usually turn one direct read for tablescan into 1MB, so your scan seems to have covered about 59 GB, which seems to be in the right sort of ballpark for 130M rows.
we have another query and when we test the query execution using v$sql, is_bind_sensitive =N, how to make is_bind_sensitive=Y all the time.. There is a hint /*+ bind_aware */ - I'd have to check whether or not it's documented at present. It might help.
I would be interested in hearing why you think the hint should be bind sensitive when the optimizer doesn't.

  • On my iPad mini, my inbox number count is over 500 even though the inbox. Is empty. All accounts do this on my iPad but all my other device are fine. Problem showed up two weeks ago???

On my iPad mini, my inbox number count is over 500 even though the inbox. Is empty. All accounts do this on my iPad but all my other device are fine. Problem showed up two weeks ago???

    Hi Peter,
Thanks for participating in the Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like the Mail app on your iPad mini is showing that you have over 500 unread email messages, but your inbox is actually empty.
There are several steps I'd use to troubleshoot this situation.
First, restart your iPad to see if it clears up the symtom:
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
If this doesn't correct the behavior, try removing and re-adding the affected email accounts next:
Get help with Mail on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
Delete the affected email account from your device.
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
    Tap the affected email account.
    Tap Delete Account.
    Add your account again.
If the same thing happens after re-adding the account, you may need to use the steps below to reinstall iOS. You may want to back up your iPad to iTunes before completing this step.
Make sure that you have iTunes 12 or later on your computer.
Put your device in recovery mode.
When you get the option to restore or update, select Update. This will reinstall iOS without erasing your data.
    From:
If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch doesn't respond or doesn't turn on - Apple Support
    All the best,
    Jeremy

  • Relation between Maintenance Order No. and Operation Number

    Hi all,
I have to make a module pool in which i want to display the following field
    Order No.
Operation no. | Operation Description |
Now my problem is that i m not getting the tables from which i have to select data basically i want to extract the data on the basis of Maintenance Order No. and Operation Number.
I have checked the following tables
AFKO , AFVu , AFVC, CAUFV.
But i m not able to find any relation between Maintenance Order No. and Operation Number.
    Please help!!!
    Thanks and regards,
    Rachit khanna

    Hello Rachit,
    The relation is as follows
AFKO-AUFPL (Routing number is Order header)
Use this routing number to get operations from AFVC
    AFVC-VORNR gives operation number
    AFVC-LTXA1 gives operation description
For sub-operations, VORNR will be sub-operation number, and AFVC-SUMNR for this sub-operation corresponds to the respective superior operation(refers to AFVC-APLZL).
AFVC-APLZL is a unique number for each operation.
Hope this helps. You can check with some existing/new orders as well.
let me know if you need anything about split operations as well.
    Best Regards,
    Subhakanth
