ORA-29024: Certificate validation failure when trying to redirect to https

Hi, I was trying to redirect the page to another https website using utl_http.request,
I configured Oracle wallet and import the certificate, and successfully to get the webpage content in sqlplus by
select utl_http.request('https://<website>,null,<wallet>,<wallet password>) from dual,
but when I trying to use the same way in a button process of Apex, the error ORA-29024: Certificate validation failure prompt.
Anyone know what wrong with it?

1. I would like to use PL/SQL Server Pages (PSP). My understanding after reading the documentation from Oracle is that I need to install Oracle Web Toolkit that should enable be to use mod_PLSQL etc.
My question is if I download & install the Oracle 11g from the Oracle site, will it have the Webtool kit? Also, is it easy to configure mod_PLSQL?

This has nothing to do with utl_http and not even with forms. Besides it is easy to verify if the objects for the web toolkit are installed: just check if the objects mentioned in the documentation are available in your database.

Validation failure when trying to add derived associations

I am trying to add derived associations to my plugin. I want to add an association between my plugin target and a target from outside my plugin (an ASM instance).
However, during the validation of the plugin, it fails with this message:

This issue is not longer a question, as it was solved by using table MGMT$METRIC_CURRENT instead.
Just restrict the table to the required target_Type and select the required metric_column. THe value column will then give the value that's needed.

Validation error when trying to schedule a backup.

Hello,
I'm trying to preform a backup in my oracle 10g.
when trying to start a backup i'm receiving the following message:
Validation Error
Examine and correct the following errors, then retry the operation:
Error - Connection to host as user admin failed: IOException in sending Request :: Connection refused: connect
I've searched all over google for an answer and hasn't come up with anything.
I've tried the Batch Job solution - didn't work.
Tried to add the local user to OEM - Administrators - didn't work as well.
I've added a new user with admin privileges and did the same procedure as well for that user, with no success.
Any help will be appreciated.

Try to google it first
You have to provide the ‘Log on as a batch job’ privilege:
1. Go to control panel/administrative tools
a. click on “local security policy”
b. click on “local policies”
c. click on “user rights assignments”
d. double click on “log on as a batch job”
e. click on “add” and add the user that was entered in the “normal username” or “privileged username” section of the EM Console.
2. Go to the Preferences link in the EM GUI
a. click on Preferred Credentials (link on the left menu)
b. under “Target Type: Host” click on “set credentials”
c. enter the OS user who has logon as a batch job privilege into the “normal username” and “normal password” fields
3. Test the connection
a. while in the Set Credentials window, click on “Test”

Anyconnect web install getting certificate validation failure.

I have an ASA (8.4.5) configured with a connection profile that does AAA and Certificate authentication. Once I have the anyconnect 3.1 on a win Xp system, it works perfectly. When I do a web install, it goes through the normal download, log-in, re-download then says "Certificate Authentication Failure" If I change the profile to AAA only, it installs fine. I even get the error if I launch from the web after I have the client on the PC.
Any ideas why this is not working?

The client PC has a machine certificate. The ASA has a copy of the certificate from the CA that signed the machine cert. I am logging in with a user account not an admin account. Note that if anyconnect is installed on the client PC, I can use it to connect just fine. It's only the web install that fails. Below is the output of the debug crypto ca 255:

Creative suite 6 install says genuine software verification failure when trying to install from a genuine disk

When trying to install a genuine copy of creative suite 6 from disk, i keep getting the message that the verification failed and that the copy is counterfeit.

and use your serial numbers aso. from your disk.
Maybe it's necessary to delete first all the rudiments from your former installations.

Oracle error "ORA-01843: not a valid month" when trying to run sqlldr

Hi all,
I'm trying to load some data into a staging database via a CSV file using sqlldr, and am running into an issue where it doesn't like the date format I'm using.
Here is my input data:
2012-01-09 16:28:12 -05:00Here is the entry in the .ctl file:

created TIMESTAMP WITH TIME ZONEAfter I try to load, I get greeted with the dreaded error message: Record 1: Rejected - Error on table WTPART, column CREATED. ORA-01843: not a valid month
I'm really confused as to why it's blowing up on the date, because it seems to me that "01" is indeed a valid date in terms of the date format I'm using. Any ideas? Thanks!

ORA-22835: buffer too small when trying to save pdf file in LONG RAW column

I get "ORA-22835: Buffer too small for CLOB to CHAR or BLOB to RAW conversion (real : 125695, maximum : 2000)" when i trying to save a 120k pdf file in an Oracle Long Raw column using dotnet 4.0 and Entity FrameWork.

Using a custom UPDATE or INSERT stored procedure for LONG RAW column with
exceed-limit data may still get the following error.
"ORA-01460: unimplemented or unreasonable conversion requested".
One option is to use BLOB instead of LONG RAW in your table and regenerate your
data model from the table. Then using the default UPDATE or INSERT statement
(created by EF) should work.
The following will modify your LONG RAW column to BLOB column.
Disclaimers:
1. It's irreversible--you cannot modify BLOB back to LONG RAW.
2. I have not tried that when there are huge data in LONG RAW column.
So be careful.

Cisco anyconnect 3.1 - Certificate Validation Failure.

When i try to start a SSL VPN connection to the ASA(8.4) with anyconnect 3.1, Cisco anyconnect receives a message saying "No Valid Certificates Available for Authentication".
Prior to the test;
     On the ASA, i have obtain CA certificate and its identity certificate. (Both certificates obtain from windows 2008 CA).
          * ASA identity certificate's have EKU attribute = Server Authentication,   Key Usage = Digital Signature, Key Encipherment.
     On the PC in which anyconnect installed, i have obtain User Certificate (this User certificate also obtain from the same windows 2008 CA)
          * Prior to obtaining User certificate from the windows2008 CA, ASA acts as a SCEP proxy onbehalf of the client PC.
          * User Certificate's has EKU attribute = Client Authentication.
As in the ASDM Logs, it almost work.
In days of troubleshooting, i still could not find the cause of this problem. Error message as appeared on anyconnect;
Is there anyone could help.???

Just run into this as well. We have CRL checking turned on. Turned out to be the CRL server was down. But that was the same message I got when the client wouldn't connect.

Unknown validation error when trying to publish Iweb

Im trying to publish my iweb page but it sends me to a mobile me login page. This has never happened since i first set up my mobile me. When I type in my password which is 7 characters then click on the login the password jumps to 12 characters and I get an unknown validation error. Any ideas
