Oracle AP match_status_flag goes to T (tested but never validated)

Hello,
We have custom triggers that are auditing ap_invoices_all and ap_invoice_distributions_all to capture who validated the invoices, who re-validated and who paid them.
Based on the documentation from mos they document the following. Since I want to capture when the invoice is validated I put a condition that if the flag is changed to A we capture that as a validated invoice. Some cases it never progresses to A but instead to T. I am not sure how to re-produce this case of T (tested but never validated) as I have created many invoices in our test system with the same holds, for the same vendor, same invoice type etc and validate them but the match status flag goes to A never T.
I know I could re-build the auditing and rely on some other flag or maybe on ap_invoices_v to determine validation but what we have in place is working great with this one exception so I would rather not start from scratch.
Can somebody just let me know what scenarios can cause this flag to go to T? That would help me a great deal.

this is not normal ..however it is possible ... Can you check the configuration for the profile option "Allow Adjustments to Paid Invoice" set for your payables responsibility .. if this is set to YES, then your system allows modifications to the Invoices even after they are accounted and paid ...
I guess that should be causing the issue ...
For performing a test case in your Test/Supt environment, make sure the above profile option is enabled and create an Invoice, validate it and make payment to it ... now again query back the invoice and insert a new line and distribution ... this would make the invoice change to NEEDS REVALIDATION status i.e. match_status_flag = T .. and also placing LINE variance / DIST variance hold ...

    No. This requires completely repartitioning the SSD. You can do that only by using the Network Recovery method or the method I outlined. My method preserves all your data and doesn't require doing a slow Network Recovery. But if you wish to do that instead. The purpose of the whole exercise is to "clean" the SSD of garbage collected during use that tends to cause the SSD to slow down as you've described.
    Install OS X Using Internet Recovery
    Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
    Boot to the Internet Recovery HD:
    Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND-OPTION- R keys until a globe appears on the screen. Wait patiently - 15-20 minutes - until the Recovery main menu appears.
    Partition and Format the hard drive:
    Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
    After DU loads select your newly installed hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
    Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Security button. Set Zero Data - one-pass, click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
    Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Install button. Be sure to select the correct drive to use if you have more than one.
    Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
    This should restore the version of OS X originally pre-installed on the computer.

    from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Paste (command-V) into the text box that opens, then press return.
    From the folder that opens, remove any items that have the letters “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari, and test.
    I've seen an unconfirmed report that the "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can also interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you might need to remove it as well, if applicable.
    If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
    ~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
    If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again.

    I have been observing the Oracle 10g agent goes down by itself and in grid control it reports as Agent unreachable. where do I see the log why Agent is going down on target everytime.

    I guess the location is D:\oracle\agent10g\sysman\log

  • Accessible pdf passes all tests but won't read beyond first page

    I've spent a morning setting the inDesign document up correctly, then once in Acrobat I set everything up right – all tags are in order, everything is present and correct as per the zillion other documents I have successfully set up. It passes all the accessibility tests as per usual (logical reading order and color contrast aside).
    However, the document will only read the title on the first page and nothing else. Not even individual pages. If I click on a line of copy, it will be read out but there is just a deafening silence when I try to read to the end of the document or each page.
    I have no idea why this is happening. I've gone through everything I think it could be. I have tried both Acrobat and Reader on three machines now. All have the same problem.
    Please help me, I'm going mad!

    No but it's not a printer-related issue because the "Print to PDF" function also leaves out the first page.

  • Why can I connect to test but not to friends

    Sigh.
    My on going issues with iChat continues. Basically we have all but given up and for many weeks have just not bothered using our 'it just works' video chat.
    One question that keeps popping up is why can I connect to the apple test, why can my friends connect to the apple test, but why can we not connect to each other?
    More over we could all connect to each other prior to 10.4, no hardware or ISP has changed.
    I do appreciate the amount of help coming out of these boards, especially from Ralph, but the question has to be asked yet again, what are apple doing about this issue, everything was just fine with iChat in 10.3, I know I am not alone.
    Anyway if anyone can offer advice on why a ZOOM X4 router/modem or a Draytek Vigor 2600 does not work correctly or anyone is able to use these modems I would appreciate a reply. I would also like info on setting them up, even though they were just fine before.

    Possibly SIP aware and causing these problems.

    For the Zoom I looked at this page I can not see that this has the UPnP setting which would be easiest to set up.
    The page tells you and shows you what the set up pages look like to achieve Port Forwarding.

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
    How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

    Never mind, I think. I think I figured it out. There was 1 song (out of > 900!) that somehow had been purchased with the other ID - I have no idea how. Once I deleted that song, it stopped asking.
    There may be something with the newest iTunes version too. I didn't think in older versions that the "On this iPod" list of songs was greyed out. But at least it syncs ok.

    by reset option do you mean the DFU restore? worked for me, have you tried that?
    if not - hold the lock and home button until the power down bar comes up. then hold the lock button for ten seconds - next continue to hold the lock button and press the home button for ten seconds - next release the lock button and hold the home button for 10 seconds. this should be done with the phone tethered. If done right and your itunes is configured as such, the phone will reload the drivers and start up itunes, and then prompt for a restore/update.

    I feel like there must be an issue with the library location, but I don't know how to correct that.  My Dad recently wiped my computer and deleted Windows XP and installed Windows 7.  I don't know what he did, but my iTunes library is still intact it seems. However, I've added quite a few podcasts that I'd like to sync to my iPod.  When I connect it, it goes through the sync process, but ends quickly and says its safe to disconnect.  None of the new podcasts are on there though.
    Also, there was something really wrong with my iTunes account.  When I went to buy something from the store, it wouldn't accept my password, and when I went to reset it, it wouldn't recognize my birthdate and month (I had the correct username).  I ended up creating a new account and purchasing a song.  This time, it did sync the new song onto my iPod, but not the podcasts I'm trying to sync.
    As far as the library location, is there anything particular that has to be included in that library in order for it to be recognized by iTunes when you sync?  Awhile back (before my Dad worked on my computer), I had changed the folder location to my external hard drive, but in researching, I saw that I still had in another drive some folders with music that is currently on my iPod.  So it looks like I have some stuff on two different drives... Maybe this has something to do with it not syncing right?
    I did check, and my Firewall doesn't have iTunes blocked.
    As you can see, I'm not very experienced with all of this... Sorry for the confusion.  If you are interested in helping me and have any questions, please let me know.
    I'm hoping someone will be able to help me... I desperately want to be able to listen to my podcasts, as I'm a stay-at-home Mom of 4 little ones, and the podcasts are kind of an "escape" for me when the children are napping or playing. :-)

    Oh my goodness!!  I am absolutely thrilled right now B-rock!!  I don't know how I missed it, but when I went back to change the setting like you mentioned, I noticed that the very top box that says "Sync Podcasts" wasn't checked!  I have no idea why... But my heart started to race when I checked that box and all of a sudden it started syncing all my podcasts!!  It's gonna take a long time (I have 385 of them!), but I am just so happy you helped me with this problem.  Thank you SO much!

    You could try doing a hard shut down (holding the power button or yanking the battery) and then doing a safe boot by holding the shift key at startup:

    Also, not sure if this applies in your case, but I've had that happen when there's a USB drive inserted either in the computer or a connected external keyboard.  I did a hard shut down, removed the drive and it went through a normal start up.

It goes on syncing forever, without actually doing anything. I have tried everything, wiped the phone numerous times, deleted all files from the laptop but still no resolution. As a result, the phone does not really synchronise.
    This started somewhere in May 2011 when I upgraded what proved to be a problematic s/w version and the phone has not recovered since.
    Now I cannot update the iPhone s/w any longer.
    Any clue?

    You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.

    If your Mac is running OS X 10.7.5 or higher, you first have to go to System Preferences>iCloud, sign in with your Apple ID to create your account, then check Mail.  This will automatically add an iCloud email account.
    To transfer your AOL mail, you need to drag and drop them into the same folder in the iCloud account.  If you have any folders in your AOL mail, you would need to create folders by the same name in the iCloud account, then open each folder, select all the mail in the folder and drag and drop them on the folder by the same name in your iCloud account.  (To create a folder in the iCloud account, click the "+" at the bottom of your folder list, choose Create Mailbox, choose iCloud as the location and give it a name.)
