Oracle Content unexpected error

Hello.
When I try to OCS Content Services, on my server, to appear me the following message:

Error: unexpected error. To try again.
May you explain me which is the origin of the error and how resolve it ?

    Oracle products are not certified to run on Ubuntu.  Please see the fine Installation Guide at Oracle Database Preinstallation Requirements  where you will find listed the supported versions of Linux.

  • HT201250 i'm getting message: can't be opened because you don't have permission to see its contents. and he operation can't be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code -8003).

    I took my computer in to have the Backup restored onto my computer after having a new harddrive put onto my 1year 1/2 old MacBook Pro. When i got it home there was a new User that i had to logout of to getting into my normal user. Don't know why this was, just figured the Mac guys that installed my backup did this for some odd reason. Today i could not open any of my files in the backup on the time machine. All the folder had line going thought them and when i clicked on them I revieved this message: can’t be opened because you don’t have permission to see its contents. After talking with that same mac store. I decided to just delete all the files out of the time machine as it was just put back on my computer and i have everything i need. Hours later when i tried to empty the trash i got this messsage: the operation can’t be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code -8003).
    Any advise how to fix my problem?

    While you see a single trash can, in reality there are trash folders on each mounted volume.  I don't use TM but what you are describing implies that a TM drive is no different with the way trash is treated.  So when the TM is unmounted the trash folder on there is gone and thus the trash looks empty.  Remount the drive, the trash folder on it now causes the trashcan to look like something is in it.
    If TrashIt! could not remove the file, I'm sorry, you will need to use the terminal.  We can do this one step at a time so you only have to copy/paste the lines into terminal (except the first time).  So launch Terminal (in utilities).  You might want to make the window that is shown a bit larger with the grow box since it's pretty small.
    This first line is the only exception to the copy/pasting since you have to enter some information.
    sudo ls -laR /Volumes/your-TM-volume-name/.Trashes
    where your-TM-volume-name is the name of your TM volume.  That's the part you have to fill in since I don't know it.
    When you hit return the sudo in that command will cause a prompt for your admin password.  Enter it and hit return again.  Note the password will not be shown as you type it.  Post the results so I can tell you what to do next.
    Note this ls command is not doing anything but listing the files in the TM's .Trashes folder.  Remember I said each drive has it's own trash folder.  .Trashes is it.

    I get the following error in my crawl logs
    "Error while crawling LOB contents. ( Error caused by exception: Microsoft.BusinessData.Infrastructure.BdcException The shim execution failed unexpectedly - The method or operation is not implemented..; SearchID "
    Because of this i suspect, the search results are not including those aspx pages marked as "Hide physical urls from search".
    This error is not available in the another environment where the aspx pages are coming in the results.

    If you are using NTLM authentication, then make sure that you specified the PassThrough authentication for crawling

    I am trying to configure Oracle Content Server to send jobs to IBR.
    I am using following version of UCM:
    11gR1-11.1.1.3.0-idcprod1-100505T121221 (Build:7.3.0.180)
    Both UCM and IBR are using same WAS domain. Installed on Windows server 2008.
    1.I have started both manged servers for UCM and IBR.
    2.Then by browsing IBR console http://vpunvfpctnsz-07:16250/ibr/ , i have changed the
    Incoming Socket Connection Address Security Filter:
    127.0.0.1|0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1|<<my.server.IP.address>>
    3.Enabled DAMConverter component on IBR
    4.Restarted IBR.
    5.Created an outgoing provider on UCM content server as follows:

    Provider Class: intradoc.provider.SocketOutgoingProvider

    It is showing following status:
    Connection State: This remains "good" when i click on test and after some time chages to "down".
    Connection Error: Unable to communicate with refinery provider IBR; it does not resolve to a valid IBR. Exception type is 'java.lang.Throwable'.
    Did i miss any step?

    Server Port: 16250
    This should be the value of IntradocServerPort for IBR server .
    By default it is 5555 .
    Replace 16250 with 5555 (if you have not changed it ) .
    Save the changes , restart UCM managed server .
    Test to see if the error shows up .

  • Error in Jdev with connection to Oracle Content Server

    I have installed my Oracle Content server on a remote linux machine and using Apache webserver with it.
    I am using Jdev drop 8 build 2d and creating an application trying to connect to the Content server creating a Content repository connection of repository type 'Oracle Content Server' and it tests successfully. I use this connection on my jspx page with Document Library.
    The jspx runs properly using the connection .
    But after this if I try to work with the connection object ,say use it on anoither page, it shows loading but does nothing further. If I go to the connection properties and test again it fails with message 'Test failed : null' and gives an error message as below while closing the properties window:

    It seems that I have specified to manually create the required tables and roles during the installation steps, so I manually run the required SQL scripts which include (creating tables, creating roles, creating users , etc..), and after have successfully login to the workflow administration tool .

    If you verify the note, for Windows XP SP2 with additional WebADI patches required

    There are a lot of similar errors on MOS, perhaps you should search through them and see if any apply to you.
    What version/patch level are you on? Have you made any grid control threshold modifications? Are you using procobol in an upgraded database?
    You might want to go through support for this one.

    Hi,
    I guess you override the default master/ page layout with your custom made master/page layout on root level site.
    Can you create the new site and page layout with default,if it success then the problem with your PageLayout which might not coincide with your master page or any of the content types your wired up in the page layout page.
    So double check your master page specifically on placeholder name with your content page (page layout) and if you use content types (on Page Layout) from the site level double check those are available with from ID and properly closed quotes.
    Last but not least,check your Page Layouts and Master Page are provisioned correctly in Model attribute "FileUrl" and Url in the element.xml

  • Installation problem in Oracle Content Server 10g

    Hi,
    I am trying to install 'ORACLE CONTENT SERVER 10g', as a part of this trying to click on 'Installer.exe' in '/win32'. When i click this installer.exe, it is prompting one COMMAND PROMPT SCREEN and it is disappearing soon. In fact it was suppose to ask language preference as per installation guide.
    Dont know how to resolve this issue. please help me out.
