Problems to generate NLB file with the Oracle Locale Builder

Oracle EE 10.2.0.4 (64)

I generated a new file NLT, but I can not generate the NLB file.
When using the option to generate the NLB the, OLB does nothing.
The environment variables ORACLE_HOME, ORACLE_SID and ORA_NLS10 are set correctly.
What to do?

Exception while opening a JSP file created using oracle report builder

I have created a JSP page which contains embedded Oracle reports build using Oracle Report Builder.
I have deployed the JSP created above to the Oracle Application Server
but when i try to open the JSP file it gives the following error:

Oracle Translation Builder: Japanese characters in question mark (????)

Hi All,
We need to translate a custom from labels from English to Japanese, so that both US and Japan can use that form.
So we have used Oracle Translation Builder to specify the translation. As an initial step, we just changed the labels to some other english words. And now we have generated American .fmx and Japanese .fmx. And we are able to see the difference.
Now in Oracle translation Builder(OTB), if i paste Japanese characters in the translation editor, we are able to see the Japanese characters. But if we save&close the OTB and re-open it, we see all the question(???) marks. Even if we generate/upload the Japanese.fmx to applications, we are seeing the same Japanese ??? marks in the applications.
Can you please let me know, what am i missing...
(I have installed the Asian language (ARIALUNI.ttf) in my local system.)

May be You should set the environment variable NLS_LANG to "JAPANESE_JAPAN.WE8MSWIN1252" or "AMERICAN_AMERICA.JA16SJIS" will allow you to store Japanese providing the input data is truly JA16SJIS and if the database is also in a character set that can store Japanese like UTF8 or JA16SJIS).
Or use Oracle Translation Hub it is useful tool. It replaces the OTB :-)

Can't open the forms using Oracle Forms Builder 6i

Dear All,
I at first download the file .fmb from linux server to local pc.and I setup oracle Forms builder 6i and want to edit the file .fmb on the local form builder ,but can't open it with forms builder raising FRM-10043.
I download the source file .fmb using both mode of ftp and I try it but it faise to open it. I don't know why it is.pls which one who knows it tell me.

Oracle Form builer under linux server is for Forms 6.0(Form builder) version 6.0.8.25.2,and Oracle Form builder under my XP is for Forms [32 Bit] Version 6.0.8.11.3 (Production).I download the file .fmb from linux server to my XP using ftp tool,but the form builder on pc can't open it.

Hope all you are fine. I have installed Oracle Developer Suite 10g on Windows 7 successfully and it is working properly. But when I connect to Oracle Form Builder using Connect window asking:
a. User Name
b. Password
c. Database
a message box appear: 'ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified'
I verify my Connect String with: 'SELECT * FROM v$database', but the problem remain the same.
Please help me how can I connect to Oracle Form Builder.

Oracle Warehouse Builder 10g installation issues

Hi All,
I have downloaded the OWB 10g, from the site. I have Oracle 10g (Release 2) database server installed on the machine.
When I start installing Oracle Warehouse Builder 10g, it just does the client installation and I am not able to find out were should I search for the OWB server installation?
Even I have checked by installing the same but I just have Repository Assistant , Design Center and Repository Browser available on the machine. I could not find the Runtime Assistant & Control Center to work on?
Can somebody help me out with these issues?

Warehouse Builder is a single install image that contains both Client and Server components, which are installed at the same time as part of the installation process. If the deployment target database is on the same machine as Warehouse Builder Client UI, there is one single installation process. If the deployment target database is on a separate machine, the install process has to be run twice, repeating the exact same install process on the client machine (to run the Warehouse Builder Design client) and the deployment target machine. Normally when installing the repository, either locally or remotely, the OWB software needs to be already present on the machine. However, it is possible to skip or defer the step of installing on the target deployment machine. This is referred to as a “Remote Target Configuration”. More information on this can be found in the Installation Guide, Chapter 2, “Remote Target”.

Oracle.dbtools.raptor.utils.ConnectionsFor input string: ""

Starting to receive log message when connecting to any database. the only change was to select "Use OCI/Thick Driver" found under Preferences > Database > Advanced. Earlier I was having trouble with a password reset and search the forum and found this: Re: Password expires and no option to change it - thought to try to change the OCI setting to fix the issue. Checked the box and now can't see any object details - receiving log message each time I select a table object:

Hi I am using SQL Developer, version 3.0.04(Build MAIN-04.34), and it still shows the errors, pasted below, after having enabled then disabled the OCI checkbox; After having done that, it won't let me execute views, like before, as it then shows a stack trace(below).
Upon having logged into my schema in the IDE, the log messages pane shows the messages in the IDE section below.
The stack trace that follows was from starting the IDE from the WindowsXP cms/console with a -verbose added.
I also tried the "-migrate" option from the help pop-up dialog when using "sqldeveloper.exe /?" +(all variations of -h did not work even though the dialog has that in there)+ from the cmd/console and even after migration of the older 2.1.1 setting, no luck.
Any help or fix for this?

It is no problem, you can automatically change the complete query before the report is running, which delivers you different kind of values. But the alias names does not change in the group of the data-model, although two query are running with different alias names at different times. In the data model you see the alias names of the first implemented select statement, which are the column fields in the layout.

New to oracle report builder

Dear all;
Please pardon me. I am new to oracle report builder and I am trying to accomplish the following. First and foremost please find my pl/sql queries below. Kindly note, all the queries have been tested and I just need to be able to input those queries into the report builder. Thank you.

first of all you need strong typed ref cursor, oracle reports need to detect witch are the columns returned by your cursor.
so first you create your package

Unable to load Oracle XML SQL utility

The following error appears for each java
class, when we attempt to load Oracle XML sql
utility into Oracle using the oraclexmlsqlload
script:
E.g.
Error while resolving class OracleXMLStore
ORA-00904: invalid column name
Does anyone know why we would receive this error?
Platform: Hp-UX 11.0
Oracle Version: 8.1.5.0
Background information:
The database was original created with the
compatible=8.0.5 set in the init.ora file, and
the creatation of java classes failed due to this,
so switched compatible to 8.1.0. Now after we
we adjusted the compatible setting and restarted
database, we started to receive the errors as
described above.

Thank you, after I initialized Oracle's javavm
the errors disappeared.
The scripts were located under the javavm/install
directory.
