CCM.sql output
===================================================================
Step 1 Checking how many rows in FND_CONCURRENT_REQUEST.
  COUNT(*)
    355323
Step 2 Checking how many rows in FND_CONCURRENT_PROCESSES table.
  COUNT(*)
     17999
Step 3 Checking sys.dual table which should have one and only one row.
  COUNT(*)
         1
If you have more than one row in sys.dual, please delete it
sql> delete rownum from SYS.DUAL
rownum= the row number to delete
Step 4 Checking fnd_dual. There must be at lest one row:
  COUNT(*)
       143
If there are no record selected,
Update fnd_dual table to have at lest one record
Step 5 Checking the Internal Manager queue name "FNDICM" which should be=1
CONCURRENT_QUEUE_ID
                  1
Step 6 Checking for Active processes under the Internal Manager queue
in fnd_concurrent_proceses table:
CONCURRENT_QUEUE_NAME          OS Proc     Oracle ID P
FNDICM                         7456               28 A
If any rows found with process_status_code with value = 'A' (= Active)
The internal Manager will not start up ,so to avoide this issue
update these rows to have process_status_code value ='K'(terminated)
Step 7 Checking for Active processes under the Standard Manager queue
in fnd_concurrent_proceses table:
CONCURRENT_QUEUE_NAME          OS Proc     Oracle ID P
STANDARD                       7880               33 A
STANDARD                       7908               51 A
STANDARD                       7909               49 A
STANDARD                       7910               50 A
STANDARD                       7934               54 A
STANDARD                       7935               53 A
STANDARD                       7936               48 A
STANDARD                       7937               56 A
STANDARD                       7950              148 A
STANDARD                       7951               58 A
STANDARD                       7952               59 A
CONCURRENT_QUEUE_NAME          OS Proc     Oracle ID P
STANDARD                       7959               57 A
STANDARD                       7962               61 A
STANDARD                       7965               55 A
STANDARD                       7968               26 A
15 rows selected.
If any rows found with process_status_code with value = 'A' (= Active)
The internal Manager will not start up ,so to avoide this issue
update these rows to have process_status_code value ='K'(terminated)
Step 8 Checking for Active processes under the Conflict Manager queue
in fnd_concurrent_proceses table:
CONCURRENT_QUEUE_NAME          OS Proc     Oracle ID P
FNDCRM                         7870               52 A
If any rows found with process_status_code with value = 'A' (= Active)
The internal Manager will not start up ,so to avoide this issue
update these rows to have process_status_code value ='K'(terminated)
Step 9 Checking Actual and Target Processes for Internal Manager:
MAX_PROCESSES RUNNING_PROCESSES
            1                 1
If the MAX_PROCESSES=RUNNING_PROCESSES that means the manager is UP.
Step 10 Checking Actual and Target Processes for the Standard Manager:
MAX_PROCESSES RUNNING_PROCESSES
           15                15
If the MAX_PROCESSES=RUNNING_PROCESSES that means the manager is UP.
Step 11 Checking Actual and Target Processes for Conflict Resolution Manager:
MAX_PROCESSES RUNNING_PROCESSES
            1                 1
If the MAX_PROCESSES=RUNNING_PROCESSES that means the manager is UP.
Step 12 Checking if the control_code set to 'N':
no rows selected
If any rows selected, please update the table fnd_concurrent_queues:
Update fnd_concurrent_queues set control_code = null
where control_code ='N'
Update fnd_concurrent_queues set target_node = null
commit
Step 13 Checking terminated processes:
  COUNT(*)
         0
If you have terminated processes run the following sql statement:
SQL> Update fnd_concurrent_requests
set status_code = 'E', phase_code = 'C'
where status_code = 'T'
Step 14 Checking pending requests:
  COUNT(*)
         0
If any rows selected please run the following sql statement:
SQL> Update fnd_concurrent_requests
set status_code = 'E', phase_code = 'C'
where status_code = 'P'
Step 15 Checking Running processes:
  COUNT(*)
        15
If you have Running processes run the following sql statement
SQL> Update fnd_concurrent_requests
set status_code = 'E', phase_code = 'C'
where status_code = 'R'
Step 16 Checking the PMON method, which should be set to LOCK:
no rows selected
If the PROFILE_OPTION_VALUE was't LOCK please
Reset PMON to LOCK by running afimpmon.sql script(The manager should be down)
1-At UNIX command prompt:
2-cd $FND_TOP/sql
3-Log into SQLPLUS as apps/
SQL> @afimpmon.sql
prompt1:dual
prompt2:LOCK (LOCK MUST BE ALL UPPERCASE)
For Oracle Applications Release 11.5 and 12.0, when you check the PMON
Method you may get no rows selected which is normal,
because in apps 11.5 and 12.0 the PMON Method is hard coded to Lock at
the Operating System level.
Step-17 Checking how many FNDLIBR processes are running:
-For Unix :From unix command prompt $ ps -ef |grep -i fndlibr
If you have any FNDLIBR processes running, please kill them before
starting or shuting down the internal manager
-For NT, through Task Manager, check the entries under the Processes tab
SP2-0734: unknown command beginning "for FNDLIB..." - rest of line ignored.
If there are any, Highlight and click [End Process] button to kill processes
Step-18 Checking how many "FND_%"invalid objects:
no rows selected
If you have any invalied objects please see Note 113947.1
Step-19-How to find the PID in the O/S for request_id:
If you do not like to check this enter any number then click Enter to Exit
Enter value for request_id: 871285
old   4: and request_id=&request_id
new   4: and request_id=871285

    Hi,
To use it, you need to convert the cert into binary format. Then it is simply dumpasn1 bincert.cer. This dumpasn1 output is obtained from your cert:

  • Oracle  Standard Manager Max No.Of Requests in Running Status

    Hi,
We have a Batch Process program to Kick the Concurrent Programs from the Back-End. Based on the data, there are some programs which kicks more than once. Our issue is while kicking the programs, it kicks the same program multiple times at a time which is causing the problem. We have settings of 40 concurrent programs running at a time, can we know what is the best count to keep in order to solve this problem
Are do we have any alternate way to make that possible.
    Please Explain...........
    Thanks in Advance

So due to connections overflow, we are getting the programs errored out. Please suggest the error message.
So can u suggest, what is the Maximum No.Of Request can ran with Standard Manager?.It depend on memory availability on your concurrent manager server. Read below metalink note to tune Concurrent manager processes as per your need:-
A Holistic Approach to Performance Tuning Oracle Applications Systems [ID 69565.1]
And is there any way to create another Concurrent Manager, which can share the requests when the standard manager is overflowed. I am not aware of any method where in standard manager work can be diverted to some other manager once it gets overflowed other then PCP but for that you need to impleemnt CM tier on additional node. Please see below note for more:-
How to Setup and Test Failover of PCP on Non-RAC Environments. [ID 743716.1]
Apart from it you can create custom concurrent managers and assign it to custom request to be run under it, by this way you can reduce load on standard manager. See below discussion on custom manager:-

  • Standard Manager is not working in Oracle Ebusiness Suite 11i

    Hi,
    Can anyone help me ...
Standard Manager is not picking up any requests in Oracle Ebusiness Suite 11i while other managers are picking up their requests and running it fine.
    Regards
    Ketan.

    Hi Hussein,
I have tried bouncing CM, Cmclean was also executed, but still the same issue exists.
One more thing which i have identified is when i include some concurrent request to Standard Manager , then that request is picked up by standard manager and it is running fine.
But this can be a workaround to the issue. We cannot simply keep on including concurrent request to Standard Manager.
So we are looking for a solution where Standard Manager should automatically pick up the request and run it fine. Which it was doing it earlier.

  • Oracle standard reports (non FSG) using Report Manager

    Hi,
I was wondering if Oracle standard report (non FSG reports) can be run/published from Report Manager. If yes, can somebody provide me the steps to run/publish these reports?
    Thanks in advance.
    Thanks
    Sam

    Sam,
I have never tried this believe but I think it is not possible (I am not referring to standard concurrent programs which are submitted through WebADI/ADI). You may give this a try by assigning certain module/application and make it print to this concurrent manager and see if it works.
BTW, what is the point of running standard concurrent requests on Report Manager?

    Dear Avi Miller,
I have successfully installed both of servers (VM Server 3.0.2 & VM Manager 3.0.2) as below
+ VM Server 3.0.2 on Dell PowerEdge 1950
+ VM Manager 3.0.2 in OEL 6.1 on Sun Fire X4100M2 Server
Refer to Oracle VM Server 3.0 Document, they recommend to do Discover Oracle VM Servers to VM Manager first of all step then do anything else like Creating a Server Pool so I try to do Discover Oracle VM Servers in many times but still not success.
What I try to do Discover Oracle Servers as below:
After I install both already I start to Discover Oracle VM quickly
    1. Log into Oracle VM Manager
    2. Select the Hardware view.
    3. Select Discover from the Actions menu. The Discover Servers dialog box is displayed.
    4. Enter information about the Oracle VM Server(s) to be discovered.
    5. Specify an IP Address (or rang): IP_of VM Server and Click Add
    6. Put password of VM Server Agent
    7. Click OK
Wait a minute the Status of VM Manager show fail and when I click Detail it show as below:

  • Problem with console in Oracle VM Manager

I have installed Oracle VM 3.0.3 and Oracle VM Manager 3.0.3 is install on Oracle LINUX 5.6. I cannot get the console to work from either the Oracle VM Manager server itself using firefox or remotely from Windows running IE or Chrome. After looking at version posts I have installed tightvnc-java-1.3.9 and ovm-console-1.0.0. The symptoms are different locally and remotely. First locally on the OVM Manager server with firefox. I click on console and a pop up asks if I want to run ovm_rasproxy-ws.jnlp click OK and things go crazy, multiple tabs open and keeps going until I kill firefox or the server runs out of resources. On the remote PC I click console and things just hang and nothing happens. Checked firewall settings, iptables is not running, I can telnet to port 15901.
    Any ideas
    Richard

    maybe this will help
local ( oracle vm manager )
ovm_rasproxy-ws.jnlp --> need open by javaws . search the javaws path . or maybe you can install sun java version 7 1st . remote pc
need install realvnc and java jre ( try install java version 7 )
version 3.0.3 - for IE need IE 9 and above.

  • Skin Customization in Oracle Identity Manager 11g Release 2 (11.1.2)

I was recently tasked with branding an OIM instance to match pretty stringent branding standards. To accomplish this task, I extended the fusion theme which is provided out of the box into a new custom skin. In the example below, I took the design as far as I could, which required decently advanced css knowledge; however, even a novice web designer could easily make simple updates to the backgrounds and fonts which would also greatly enhance the user experience.
Utilizing FireBug for Firefox, I inspected elements of the OIM interface to see which div's I needed to modify in the css file. You can edit as little or as many elements as you'd like in your custom skin; however, I'd recommend preserving the primary elements original placements to avoid confusion for users that are already used to an out of the box version of OIM.
This is the Oracle doc I used when creating the custom skin: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E27559_01/dev.1112/e27150/uicust.htm#BABJIJIA
Notes regarding the Oracle tutorial mentioned above:
Be sure and remove the temp directory, shut down your OIM server, upload your files, then restart your OIM server with each css modification.
30.3.1 - Configuring Skins: 1. After you create the skin in the trinidad-skins.xml file, make a copy of the trinidad-skins.xml from the /iam-consoles-faces.war/WEB-INF/ directory to the
    oracle.iam.console.identity.sysadmin.ear/WEB-INF/ directory AND the
    oracle.iam.console.identity.self-service.ear/WEB-INF directory.
(The doc references admin.ear: the fully qualified name of the ear is: oracle.iam.console.identity.sysadmin.ear)
30.3.1 - Configuring Skins: Make all of your changes in the /oracle.iam.console.identity.sysadmin.ear/WEB-INF/trinidad-skins.xml file, /oracle.iam.console.identity.self-service.ear/WEB-INF/trinidad-skins.xml file, and the /iam-consoles-faces.war/WEB-INF/trinidad-skins.xml file.

  • Install Oracle Access Manager in existing Access Manager domain

    Hi
I am operator of a windows system with Oracle Access Manager installed.
We use OAM for SSO against Webpages in OIM running on Jboss, and now we are going to implement against a WebLogic webapplication too.
The userbase is standard Active Directory
I did not set up OAM myself so I'm not completely sure how it works.
To be able to test the SSO solution given by an external provider, I need to have a proper stage environment.
My idea is to set up another OAM on another server, wich points towards the same AD domaincontroller as the existing OAM
Is this possible? In the installation guide I find that the new AccessManager system should be added into the existing OAM configuration , before we turn of the existing OAM and then install the complete OAM on the new server. Then we can turn on the existing OAM again, and implement them as clusters. I would like them to be two indipendent instances not affecting one another, but in the same AD domain to be able to test features in one of them and use the other as the production server.
My fear is that I "mess up" the form in AD created from the old OAM, and that way mess the upp production environment.
    Edited by: user631873 on 11.sep.2009 06:22

    Hi,
Technically, you can certainly set up a new OAM infrastructure which points to the existing AD instance. You could do this in a number of ways, for example:
    - set up the new instance so that it points to the same users and configuration branch as the existing instance, so that the new instance is effectively just an extension of the existing instance (with extra Identity and Access Servers, etc) ;
    - set up the new instance so that it points to the same AD instance, but uses different User searchbase and Config branch. In this case the new instance is more or less completely separate, but it happens to use the same directory ;
    - set up the new instance so that it points to the same Users, but a different Config branch, in which case the new instance has independed OAM configuration (policies, authentication schemes etc) but operates on the same user base.
(In OAM you can define separate ldap locations for the Users, Identity Config and Access Config.)
It depends on exactly what you want, but if the idea is to have a proper stage environment, then it is usually better for them to be completely independent, including the directory. OAM can update users as well as policies, and additionally different major versions of OAM have different schemas, so there are risks when using the same directory instance. Load testing is also an issue, since the directory is accessed extensivley by OAM.
    Regards,
    Colin

  • OPM/Oracle Order Management

What are the pro's and con's of switching from OPM Order Fulfillment to Oracle Order Management?
We use Order Fulfillment now and are concern we will lose the profile functionality when and if we upgrade.

OPM Order Fulfillment is a simple to use Order Entry and Shipping application that meets the needs of many process manufacturers.
Oracle Order Management is more flexible and configurable to suit a number of different industries. Oracle Process Manufacturing is integrated
to Order Management and has functionality to support entry of order quantities in two units of measure, as well as designation
of a preferred quality grade and automatic allocation of process inventory.
In place of the Order Profile (or order template) functionality available in Order Fulfillment, we recommend using the Copy Order
functionality in Order Management. You can establish a special order type in Order Management (you can call it Template or
Profile) and assign a workflow to the order type that makes it "non-transactable" (the order stays in an "entered" state so that
it can't be booked or shipped). You can query on these special order types and copy them to create standard orders. When you
copy an order in Order Management, you can change the order type, so the Template order can be copied and the new order
    type can be "Standard".

  • Unable to install Oracle VM Manager 3.0.2 on OEL 5.9 64 bit

    Hi,
I am attempting to install Oracle VN Manager 3.0.2 on OEL 5.9 64 bit.
I follow the instructions published in Installation and Upgrade Guide Release 3.0 for x86 (E18548-02).
I use the "Standard Install", using a database on another server.
This is an Oracle 11gR2 SE database.

    I don't see such a summary.

I get a "page not found"
Ports: 7001 amd 7002 are open, as described in the above documentation.
Does someone has experience with it?
Thanks by advance for any tips.
    Kind Regards.

    Hi,
There is probably no much difference between the two.
The reason I have tried with 3.0.2 is that the minimun required RAM for installation is 4G.
With 3.1.1 it is 6 G, and I have a limitation in memory.
Or does someone know if it possible to perform the installation with less RAM that what is specified?
    Kind Regards.

  • Oracle 9i installation hanging in "Clone Database Creation in Process"

    Hi all,
I have been struggling in installing the 9i in my laptop.
    Here is my setup,
OS: Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition SP2 in VMWare
    Database: Oracle 9i 9.2.0.1.0
When it automatically comes to "Database Configuration Assistant", there are 4 steps.
    Copying Database files
    Initializing Database
    Creating and starting Oracle Instance
    Completing database creation
The 1st 3 steps has been completed and the installation just hangs at the last step when the completion rate is 88%.
Anyone got problem like this ?
Here are the details I have so far for the DBCA during installation process,
    Listener Control complete.
Listener start failed. Listener may already be running.
    Listener configuration complete.
    Default local naming configuration complete.
Oracle Net Services configuration successful. The exit code is 0
Since I am completely new to installing DB, please help me to get rid of this frustration.
    Thanks !

  • Standard manager issue in 11.5.10.2

    Hi,
the actual and target columns of my standard manager remain the same in oracle oracle applications as 25 in my database 11.5.10.2 when i navigate conc manager-->administer
i did a cm restart where my actual gone to 24 and the target remains 25 .
is there any issue with this?
i checked the icm logfile where it says
Found running request 34066505 attached to dead manager process.
    Attempting to restart request.
how can i solve this issue.
    Thanks
    Aram

This is a production instance and hence i cannot shutdown the concurrent manager and restart,
can you provide any alternate solutions?
