Order adjustment calculator in atg

Hi
Which Scenario we have to use OrderAdjustmentCalculator and OrderSubtotalCalculator in atg
What is the different b/w those two Calculators
Please give me one simple example

The OrderAdjustmentCalculator adjusts the order’s subtotal based on the manual adjustments associated with the order. The /atg/commerce/pricing/calculators/
OrderAdjustmentCalculator component contains the following configuration:
$class=atg.commerce.pricing.OrderAdjustmentCalculator
pricingTools=/atg/commerce/pricing/PricingTools
The adjustment calculator is added as a postCalculator in the /atg/commerce/pricing/
OrderPricingEngine. As such, the calculator runs after the pre-calculators and all calculators associated with any promotions for the order. The configuration for the OrderPricingEngine is:
postCalculators+=\
calculators/OrderAdjustmentCalculator
The atg.commerce.pricing.OrderSubtotalCalculator class computes the rawSubtotal and amount of an OrderPriceInfo that corresponds to the input order.
Unlike in the case of discount calculators, there is no rule that determines whether the subtotal should be calculated. The order’s subtotal is always calculated by summing the prices of the items in the order. If a pricing model is passed in, it is ignored.

  • PCA-Balance Sheet Adjustment calculation

    Hi,
I am unable to figure out the purpose of transaction 'Balance Sheet Adjustment calculation' (tc: F.5D), is this month-end process or year-end closing process and what is the purpose?
    Please help.
    Thanks
    Suresh

    Hi Suresh,
trx. F.5D splitts the accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) according to business area and profit center. This has to be done regulary (monthly).
For example: Vendor A pays invoice 1 and invoice 2 together. Invoice 1 has business area ABC and profit center ABC, invoice 2 has business area XYZ and profit center XYZ. Then the FI document looks as follows:
    Vendor A         110.000
    Invoice 1            60.000
    Invoice 2            40.000
    Tax                   10.000
During F.5D this payment is splitted regarding business area and/or profit center to
Vendor A          66.000    business area ABC, profit center ABC
    Invoice 1           60.000
    Tax                    6.000
    and
Vendor              44.000 business area XYZ, profit center XYZ
    Invoice 2            40.000
    Tax                     4.000
With NewGL and activated document split F.5D is not necessary anymore as this will be done automatically during FI posting.
    Cheers,
    Daniela

  • Process order variance calculation not taking the GI+Activity confirmation Cost

    Hi,
Process oder was settled in the Month of June,2014. Accounting document was generated, but system only considered the GR cost. System was not considered  the GI as well as activity cost on variance calculation. Variance posted GR= Variance.
22nd June,2014 Variance calculated, on 30th WIP entery also reversed with the same amount.
1st July,Order done untecho and no transactions are posted in the Month of July.
Now they would like to settle the Process in the Month of July. system is throwing the error " Status DLV/TECHO reversed after settlement period 006.2014"
Order status was TECO PRT  CNF  PRC  CSER BASC BCRQ CRF No variance calculation status.
Any one faced any similar issue , please suggest me how to proceed.

    Hi,
Please check SAP Note 386816 for error KV181.
In general it is recommended to use the Cost estimate of the Process Order (Planned Cost Estimate) for the WIP at target calculation. In additional please pay attention to SAP Note 386816 which explains this procedure and which prerequisites must be met to calculate WIP at targets or the scrap variance. Even if the group counter of the routing is different you can still calculate WIP at targets but only if the message type of message KV181 is set to SPACE by Customizing settings.
Hope this will a bit help to you.
    Best regards, Takashi

  • Target Cost in Process Order not calculated

    Hello,
In Process order, after deliver of FG the target cost is not getting calculated,
Could you please help me why the target cost is not calculated in process order.
I have configured all setting for WIP and Variance

    Hi,
Target costs are only calculated after goods movements have occured on the order, the Target Costs are then calculated during the Variance calculation.
Target costs will only be calculated after the first goods receipt has been posted to the order. Also you have to ensure that the information to calculate target costs exists on the system in particular in OKV6.
This estimation is based on the customizing for the Target cost version in transaction OKV6 as in turn will the "real" calculation of the Target costs via the variance calculation.
So in OKV6 the Target cost will be based on preliminary costing on the order, an alternative cost estimate or the current standard cost estimate. Importantly if the choosen option is not fulfilled e.g. no current standard cost estimate, the target costs will not be predicted or calculated.

  • Hidden Sort - Order by calculation that is not displayed

    Hi,
I want to sort by the absolute value of a column, but do NOT want to display that absolute value. Rod West mentioned a 'hidden sort' in a previous post, but I can't find any way to do it.
Is it possible? If it matters, the column in question is a calculation itself - the sum of 2 other columns.
The worksheet is in Discoverer Desktop 10.1.2.
    Thanks in advance,
    Dawn

    Hey Dawn.
The concept of the crosstab is that you cannot sort on a data column as you are presenting a 3d look at the data. So unlike a table, you may be seeing records from all over the table (ie: not concurrent records, etc.) and it's therefore more difficult (well it is for me anyway).
So, first of all, if you want it to be a xtab, then fine.
But you mentioned that if it was a table, then you are getting several lines for each customer - one for each order or return.
So, if using a table - which will be easier for what you want to do IMO, let's see if you can rework it for that.
Suppose for the first column you had the customer id.
Then for the second column you wanted to display just the month for the data.
Then for the third column, you had the total dollar order amount for that customer for the month. So for that item, could you not just display 'total dollar amount SUM'?
Then for the fouth column, similarly could you not just display 'final sales amount SUM'.
Then create a calculation on the fourth column such as: ABS(final sales amount SUM). But make sure the calculation is checked off to not display it.
Then in the SORT, could you not sort by the calculation (hidden), month (GROUP SORT) and customer id (GROUP SORT),
Something like that should be what it sounds like you're trying to accomplish.
    Makes sense?

  • Prodn Order not calculating OH at KGI2 and WIP at KKAX

I have created a prodn order and in the control TAB the RA key and OH key is attached . Iam not able to calculate the WIP and OH for the Order .
    PLease help .
    Nakul

Pl make sure you have maintained rate for actuals in overhead % (S_ALR_87008275)
Also check the base for OH calculation in costing sheet and confirm you have actual costs posted under corresponding cost elements.
Lastly make sure you have right period and fy when you run KGI2.
Same way for WIP makensure u have actual costs posted. Also verify whether you are getting any error log.
Find out whether this issue is with one of theorders or in general. Check config and master data accordingly.

  • Extended classic purchase order tax calculation

We are running extended classic on SRM 4.0.  We are connecting to our R/3 backend version 4.7.  The backend is utilizing Vertex for it's tax calculation.  We have confirgured SRM to use the backend for tax calculation.
We have a 5% state sales tax and a 1% local option sales tax at this location.  If we procure an item from a vendor residing in the same state then the local option sales tax applies (i.e. 6%).  If we procure an item from a vendor outside of the state then the local option tax does not apply (i.e. 5%).  I've tested this by creating PO's on the backend for both scenrios and the tax is calculated correctly.
The issue we have is that the shopping cart is calculating the tax amount correctly, the replicated purchase order in R/3 also has the correct tax amount, however the purchase order residing in SRM does not have the correct amount, it is always calculating 6%, which is incorrect.
My question is does anyone know the function module being called to calculate tax when the SRM PO is being created?  For the shopping cart I have verified that BBP_CALCULATE_TAX_ITEM46B is being used, is it not the same for the SRM PO?
    Best regards,
    Shawn O'Connor

    Hi Shawn,
I do not know your SRM release... but did you already see OSS note 656398 and 888896 ?
    Hope this helps,

  • Tcp mss adjust calculation for GRE tunnel over DSL line

    hi guys,
need your advice on this one, as i search on cisco.com and netpro but unable to find the exact info that i required.
First, can anyone confirm the following calculation to find out MSS size.
Mss size = MTU size - encapsulation size - tcp header size
    So for normal case;
    MSS = 1500 - 48 (48 is the tcp/ip header)
    so MSS = 1452
    Thus in my case GRE tunnel over DSL connection;
    MSS = 1492 - 24 - 48 (24 is the GRE encap; 48 is the tcp/ip header)
    MSS = 1420
    is this correct?
Secondly, where should the ip tcp mss-adjust to be implemented. Is it at the Dialer(DSL) interface or at Tunnel interface?

I don't use the math (it doesn't work for me probably b/c I miss something). Here's how I do it-

  • Make to order WIP calculation with minus WIP

    Dear Grus!
I'm in the make to order senario ,and using actual cost in WIP calculation.
finished goods using standard cost valuation.
    Input 1000, output ( 100 USD *15EA), wip qty is 5EA.
now WIP become minus, so system generates error message.
How I should configure in a correct way?

    Thanks for your answers,
    The message number is
Plan cost <= actual cost. Cannot use method of apportionment (K,R)

Negative wip indicatest that 1) you are not finished with the order and 2) at the WIP point in time, more value has been credited to the order that was issued to the order.
This could be due to failed goods movements or incomplete confirmations, out of date cost estimates, etc.
and standard cost is a little bit high, so the WIP balance is minus.

  • Production order variance calculation RKKKS000

    Hi Gurus,
we have a strange issue, where system is taking more than 28 hours to calculate variances by using program RKKKS000. because of this business en-countering issues for month end processes, I came to know one of the program which has the ability to select order type and number range KKS1 RKKKS1N0.
can this job be used in 4.7 version if so how to find the order types and muber range for selection. if business wants to use Existing program RKKKS000 is there any way to reduce Job performance (less than 10 hours).
    Thanks,

    Hi,
set status DLFL for the orders that should not be processed anymore, thats the best way to reduce the variance calculation runtime.
Check SAPNET note 393896 for other performance tips (parallel processing,...)

  • Sales Order Pricing Calculation using Pxternal Pricing Engine

I have a customer who would like to call an External Pricing Engine to calculate the pricing for sales orders. This is from an ECC system and not from a CRM system. Has any one done it?
What would be the right user exit to make such a call to the external system and get the prices and continue the process? Can you please share your experiences?
Any sample code will be very much appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Thanks Aashrith.
We would like make an RFC call to the external system. For example, in Banking, it can be done as stated in the documentation: Interface to External Price Calculators - Price Calculator for Financial Instruments - SAP Library .
My question is: Can we do something similar to this to determine pricing in sales order?  If so where can we make that RFC call?
    Thanks again.

  • Process order variance calculation

    Hi All,
We have Sub- Assemblies which are currently set up in the system as purchased, sub-contracted sub-assemblies. this is how we will procure these the large majority of the time. There will be instances, however, where we will need to build them in house. but when we run cost estimate and mark and release sytem is using sub-contract Quantity structure in cost roll and when we producing we are using different Quantity structure like like BoM and Routing.at the time of variance calulation we are getting errors becuase of conflict in cost estimate Quantity structure and process order Quantity structure.
How can i solve this issue?any help is appreciated...
    I'm getting the following error..
    Message no. KV181
    Diagnosis
This message tells you which quantity structure was used by the cost estimate that calculated the target costs, and which quantity structure was used in the actuals.
The cost estimate that calculated the target costs did not use the quantity structure used in the actuals.
This means that the cost estimate used a different combination of task list type, task list group, and group counter than in the order itself (such as the production order).
    Example:
Suppose the target costs were calculated in the standard cost estimate for the material, and that the standard cost estimate for the material is based on the routing identified by task list type N, task list group 50000309, and group counter 1.
Now suppose the production order specifies a routing identified by task list type N, task list group 50000309, and group counter 2. This would lead to the error.
    System Response
The system cannot calculate target costs for the valuation of work in process or scrap.

  • Incoming order analysis calculation

    Hello,
I have an issue for the old WBS
Incoming order values in table COSB is not calculated correctly and system has determined very huge value.
As the value is very huge (13 digits), system is giving dump of Arithmatic overflow while closing.
SAP has replied to correct the COSB table value manually and  the correct values can be determined by using the actual costs in the corresponding database tables (COSP and COSS).
Can any one let me know how COSS and COSP table entries are used to calculate COSB values.
    thanks, Madhusudan patil

    Hi
Try using Tac KE24 and check how many digits are being displayed.
