Org Model reflection in BP Sales Area TAB

Hi Friends,
I have created new Org Model, but some how this is not getting reflected in the Sales area TAB of BP.
Also i updated the buffer as per best practices.
Kindly provide some inputs.

What i am doing is creating a sales organisation in CRM without entering Reference R/3 sales organisation.
Also i checked the "obj. permitted in determination" in a sales org.and run the report "HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE" .
I already done all the above mentioned things, but still i am facing the problem.
One pt is that the table "CRMD_ORGMAN" doesnt have the entry of newly created sales org.
Please provide some inputs.

    I have created Sales Org in Org Model and tupel assignment is also done.
    Object is permitted for determination is also checked.
    But when i create Sold to Party in  BP then not able to select sales area. Choose Sales Area Tab is disabled.

  • Unable to see sales area tab in CRM production client

    Dear Experts,
    I established middleware connectivity between CRM 2007(001) and  ECC 6.0(200)  Production Clients,
    i maintained following settings
    Used transaction code BUSD
    and select the respective role and click on BP Role -> Subheader ID
    Checked the entry 'CRM001 CRM: Sales Area Data'  and even i checked the consistency is ok and  active in org model.
    But still I am unable to see sales area tab in the BP master In the CRM production client (001) .
    Plz sugest what else i have to do to rectify this problem.

    We all ready  done buffering.
    We have  executed report HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE, 
    and the scenario SALE is flagged as buffered in customizing table T77OMATTSC.
    But still we are not able see the sales area tab in bp master.
    Note : one thing we noticed when we selected the r3 reference customers when copied sales area into crm bp by using the tcode crmc_bupa_consum  we are able to see the sales area tab.
    But when we trying to create new bp by using role Sold to party we are not able to see Sales area tab in bp master.

    I tried all the  solutions given by you ,but its not working.
    I will state the problem I am facing clearly:
    I chose a  'person '  or 'organisation' and created a BP.After that I wanted to give him Sold-to-Party role.
    When I choose sold-to-party role I should get 'sales area data' button next 'general data' button.That button is missing for me.

    When ever we creating a Sold to party subscreen sales area will be activated, for the same can we activate sales area tab for Prospect is it possible?

    Hi Satish,
    Your requirement sounds very un-usual to me. Sales area data will only be seen when sold-to is maintained.
    I don't see any requirement why a prospect is to be maintained in a sales area, especially when he/she is not yet started any relation with sales organizational data.
    It is better to promote a prospect as customer as and when required, rather than implemeting a complex code changes. Give a try to convience your business.
    This is my general comment and not debating on your requirement.

  • Custom fields to the sales area tab of customer master data

    Hi Guys,
           i have one requirement, where i need to add Zfields to the Sales tab in sales area data of customer master. Can somebody give me steps how to do it? do we need to do screen programming or just appending KNVV so that functional consultants can do configuration based on account group?

    Hi,
         .First in IMG - Enterprice Structure - Definition
    Create the Organisational Units you want to use
    2.Then In Enterprise structure - assignment
    Setup the sales areas you want to use in SD
    Then go to XD01/ VD01 and create a new customer to whom you want to sell goods & service thr a particular sales area which you have already set up in IMG.
    YOu can create a customer master for only those sales areas which you have created in Step 2 above.
    Then create a sales document type VOV8 and then assign sales document type to sales area in which you want to use.
    IMG-Sales & distributin-sales-sales document-sales doc header
    Do all other assignments like item category determination, schedule line category, pricing procedure determination etc
    and then you can cretae a sales document using the particular sales area.

    While creating Business partner in Tcode BP for Sold to party role, we do not see SALES AREA DATA button – Please let us know the suitable screen settings required to get this button.

    Hi,
    Check the transaction bus_hdrid. The entry for CRM001 should be there.If not enter the following:
    CRM001     Sales Area Data     CRM: Sales Area Data     CRM1     CRM001
    Also, go to the transaction busd and for your bp view ( CRM001)
    assign the above subheader.

    I am new to CRM and learning CRM.i have created org model by creating marketing,sales and service structure.
    everything works fine.
    but my issue is when i click in service org tab and in function i am selecting service and service org.then i am going to sales org structure and click on it in function i see service is enabled where i have enabled sales before .In same case if i m scrolling through marketing and going to service structure then in service structure in function tab marketing is enabled.
    Can any body tell me any functionality is available in sap CRM to restrict above structure once i have saved it .it will be as usual irrespective If I scroll to different structure.please help me regarding this.

  • Sales Area Fields Mandatory Dialog Box not coming up

    Hello Forum,
    We have the Business Partner PCUI Application - CRMM_ACCOUNT, where in, there are mandatory fields made under Tab General Information and Sales Area. We have done the necessary changes in field grp settings and generated the layouts. for relevant field groups.
    When we create New Business Partner, the control is on the 'General Information' TAB. PCUI doesnot allow to save the business partner, unless, mandatory fields are filled out. It gves a Javascript Popup to fill the mandatory fields.
    But the same is not the case with Sales Area Tab, When we select Sales Area (Either by using Template Functionality or Selecting the Sales Area Manually), the fields in this TAB strangely remain in Readable Format only. No Changes are allowed to be incorporated. In this case there is no dialog box prompting for filling the mandatory fields. Also, it allows to save business partner w/o filling the sales area data mandatory fields.
    However, when we save, Change The Tabs (I.e. Goto General Information and come back to Sales Area Data, it sometimes enables the fields for Entry under Sales Area). And then it starts doing the mandatory field check in Sales Area Tab.
    Request, if anybody can provide, clues for this behaviour and resolution.

    i have created all the sales structure,marketing and service structure and saved it.
    when i go to change mode in org model when i check in sales structure in sales org in function tab sales is selected after that when i go to marketing structure  and check there i see in function tab sales is enabled and in attributes too sales is enabled.
    In this case R/3 is not integrated .Could you please suggest how can i restrict this  so that in future in change mode when i go to org model will check in function tab everything will be ok?

  • Relation between sales area and Taxes

    I have come across an issue wherein for the customer, the Excise duties and Sales Tax flows in one Sales Area but does not flow if created in another. The Sales Org is different in both Sales Area, the material sold is same.
    Can anyone highlight where the problem should be or is there any customisation left out which needs to be set for the values to flow.

    Thanks for you inputs.  The issue is solved.
    The reason for the issue was that the user had not maintained the Deletion indicator for the Condition type JECS and JA1X due to which the system was not fetching the data from the Tax procedure via Tax Code. i.e. the Condition type in pricing procedure overwrites the value determined from the Tax procedure.
    Since these conditions are maintained at the Sales Organisation level the value was flowing in one Sales area whereas not in other.

    if ur requirement is to attach a word document or anything to the customer based on sales area first  activate the paramaeter SD_SWV_ACTIVE(take basis help fo r this) and to fulfill ur requirement go the selected sales of the customer (XD02 tcode) and in the sales area tab in the title bar only one select button is there if u click on that it will show attachment list select that and attach the document as per ur wish.

    I have created a new BP role 'A' with BP category Sold-to-party. Now when I create a new BP with the  role 'A'
    I don't get the Sales Area tab in the BP. Only when I maintain the role Sold-to-party also for the BP, I get the Sales
    Area tab. Is there any way I can get the Sales Area tab if I maintain only role 'A' for the BP?

    go to spro>cross-application components>sap busines partner>business partner> basic settings>field groupings>Configure Field Attributes per BP Role
    Double click the business role which you want to customaze (e.g. 'A') and change the proper settings.
