Organizational unit attributes

Hi,
I need to do a responsible determination in base of organizational unit attributes. For example, if country = DE the responsible organizational unit will be Sales Officce DE.
The problem is that I need some attributes which are not in PPOMA_CRM out of the box. Does anybody know how to extend the organizational unit attributes.
Thanks,
Javier Merino

Hi,
Use the transaction OOATTRCUST to create the new organizational attributes. once created assign them to the required scenario (SALE/SERVICE).

  • Organizational Unit attribute in User Info

    Hi All,
I am working on Enterprise Portal 7.0 SP 11. I have a small problem. In Identity management, in user properties additional information, we have organizational unit as a standard SAP attribute. I want to fill that attribute while creating user through importing a text file in the beginning itself.
While exporting a user, that information is not captured. I dont know what attribute name should be used to fill that attribute. So, can anyone tell me how to solve this issue?

Hi! How can i to see the organizational unit's attributes ?
For example in the transaction ppoma_crm , subscreen function, radiobutton service, local service organization.
I need this information in a very technical level, tables, function modules....

    Hi,
everything you need can be found in functiongroup RHOMATTRIBUTES
FM RH_OM_ATTRIBUTES_READ for instance reads all of the attribute data.

  • CRMD_BUS2000108 - organizational unit and attributes for org. unit

    Hi all!
As I'm customizing Lead creation (and in a second step lead generation)
I would like to receive tips about "selection of organizational unit and attributes for org. unit".
I expected that, by entering a BP number of a prospect or sold-to party, the organizational unit and its attributes would be displayed automatically on the tab "organization".
This is not the case. When I start the lead creation, there is a pop-up screen inviting me to choose the organizational unit. afterwards a pop-up screen for the attributes of the org unit. Only after setting a flag in both pop-ups, I see the actual "lead" transaction. When I enter a BP number, the sales assistant and sales rep are found automatically.
Could anybody please explain how to change the customizing?
I would like to see the lead transaction (create) first, enter a bp number and than have the org unit and its attributes, the sales rep and sales assistant found automatically.
Any usefull answer (would make my day ), will be rewarded.
Thank you very much for your suggestions and time in advance!
    I. Van Acker

    hi
this is happening because you have not done the org data determination in your transaction, just go to SPRO and there in org data determination ,you have many standard ORGMAN rules available which you can use which will pick the data according to the user ,BPs etc.
it will enable you to first give BP and then the org data will be driven automatically from the system according to the rule in org data determination.
so first go and use rule ,try using rule ORGMAN_12
then attach this rule to the org data profile and then add this org data profile to the transaction in basic settings in transaction where you have defined your lead transaction.
    it will solve your purpose

  • Getting the organization unit of a responsibility used ...

    Hi,
Are there any manners to get the organization unit according to the responsility the user selected...????
    For example...
Assume that the user has the following responsibility:
inventory employee <-----------role as a single inv. employee(access only to view)
admin of inventory N234 <-----------role as an admin to this particular inventory(access to view, edit, check, ...)
admin of inventory N239 <-----------role as an admin to this particular inventory(access to view, edit, check, ...)
    e.t.c..
How is it possible to correlate the responsibilities 2,3 (of the above list) to the organization units(units of a company) coded as 234, 239 respectively..???
I assume that this can be done using a profile (at responsibility level and/or user level)...In this case is there any profile name i can use..or i should create a new one...??? ----{I use the MO:Organization Unit to get the business group id/company}.
Is it possible to acheive the above through the use of a form parameter...(but the question is how to correlate the specific to an organization unit responsibility to a code representing this unit (inventory N234) without the use of a profile - as a second manner)...???
    Note: I use 11.5.10 EBS
    Many thanks,
    Sim

    Hi Sim,
One thing you need to be carefull about is in what context you need the ID of a certain organizational unit. There are different types of orgs that are in play at different times.
e.g. Operating Unit is the securing attribute for many subledgers such as Order Management, Accounts Receivables/Payables, Purchasing.
Inventory Unit is relevant when you look at Inventory Transactions, Costing, Planning etc.
If we assume that you are only interested in INV orgs then whenever you enter a form that deals with inventory related issue the user is prompted to choose an organization and the choice results in setting the context variable MFG_ORGANIZATION for the session.
If you want to control which Inventory Organization a user or responsibility has access to you go to Inventory > Setup > Organizations > Organization Access. Here you can restrict access by Responsibility. Take a carefull look into the help text to understand implications - I have copied the first couple of paragraphs:
+You can specify which organizations a responsibility can access by mapping responsibilities to organizations. Once this mapping is set up, a user logging into an Oracle Manufacturing product is restricted to the organizations mapped to the responsibility chosen. The Change Organization window is restricted as well.
Attention: Until you assign an organization to a responsibility in this window, all responsibilities have access to all organizations. Once you have restricted any responsibility to an organization, you must then explicitly define the organizations which all responsibilities can access.
Attention: This feature does not restrict access once the user is in the product. Users with access to functions that cross multiple organizations (such as ATP, Inter-organization Transfers, Item Search, Multi-organization Quantity Report, and so on) can still specify any valid organization when running these functions.+

  • Organizational Unit Report

Need a ZENworks Inventory report (any report) that features the Organizational Unit of the workstation object(s) in question. Need to be able to sort or filter on Organizational Unit; can't find one. Any ideas?

    Grab a Copy of DSReport.exe (http://www.wolfgangschreiber.de/)
Run a "Multi-Object" report and for "Workstation" and include the "CN" and
"DSI:Parent" (This will be OU, selecting OU will not return OU :>)
You can then export the Report to Excel or CSV.
Add any additional attributes that you would like.

  • Organizational Unit-BP

    Hi gurus.
When i create a new organizational unit, i can't see the business partner asigned in the PPOMA_CRM.
    Why can it happen?
    Thanks
    Regards Miguel.

    Hi,
Apart from the above steps given by others you can also follow these steps as they did work in my scenario, this generally take some hours for the system to generate the BP ids so its better to schedule these activities in the evening so that when the Ids would be visible the next day I dont know whether this is a standard but this did happen in my case as i had to create the org structure twice so i had this experience twice.
Scenario when the buffering is not done and the Business partner id is not getting created in ppoma_crm
    Check Settings for Attribute Maintenance
Check the consistency of the attribute assignments to the organizational units.

  • PPOMA_CRM - System does not find the correct Organizational Unit

    Dear Experts,
    we have done the following:
    1. We created a new Z-Field within table CRMD_ORDERADM_H with the Application Enhancement Tool. The name of the field is: ZZFLD000000.
    2. The we changed the View-Cluster T77OMATTR and added the attribute ZZFLD00000 (Name Postal Code).
    3. We added the attribute to the View in Component BT126H_APPT.
    4. In PPOMA_CRM we added the Z-Attribute to the Organizational Unit 'A' with a number range from '08030' to '08035'.
    5. Then we changed created a new Org. Determination Rule and assigned the new Determination Rule to a new Org. Data Profile which we assigned to the transaction type. We made a try and the determiantion rule is working!
The point is, when we create an activity the user puts the postal code (in this example '08032') into the created Z-Field and then we expect that the specific organizational unit 'A' will be assigned like Service Organization.
To solve the problem we put a breakpoint to all SET and GET Methods of the Attribute but the system is not stopping there. We missed something but we can not find really the problem.
Which method we have to redefine so that SAP CRM is looking at the new created Z-Field and is searching within the Organizational Structure for the correct Organizational Unit?
    Best Regards
    Oliver

    Hi,
This is my idea, I don't check this.
But, I think it's have to work.
Pass guid to CRM_ORDER_READ, and get parameters.
After that, check where you can read postal code.
    I think it's in lT_CUSTOMER_H
    For example,
    call function 'CRM_ORDER_READ'
        EXPORTING
          it_header_guid = ZGUID
        IMPORTING
          ZCUSTOMER_H        = lT_CUSTOMER_H
        EXCEPTIONS
            DOCUMENT_NOT_FOUND = 1
            ERROR_OCCURRED = 2
            DOCUMENT_LOCKED = 3
            NO_CHANGE_AUTHORITY = 4
            NO_DISPLAY_AUTHORITY = 5
            NO_CHANGE_ALLOWED = 6.

<u>[Convert Org. Units to Vendor Groups ]</u>
    <b>Mode details</b>
    Mode                 Short text
0    Do not carry out structure checks
1    Business partner exists for root org.
2    Partner for root org. (only) has org. unit role
3    All level 2 nodes are org. units
4    All level 2 nodes have business partners
5    All level 2 nodes have (only) org. unit role
6    All level 3 nodes are org. units
7    All level 3 nodes have business partners
8    All partners (level 3) has (at least) org.unit + bidder role
9    All level 4 nodes are positions
    <b>Purpose of this report</b>
This report converts the HR organizational model for external business partners (bidders, vendors, and their employees).
You have to run this report after an upgrade from BBP 2.0C, EBP 3.0, EBP 3.5, EBP 4.0 and SRM Server 5.0 for every root organizational unit of these external business partners (if you have several such root unit, you have to run the report several times).
This report does not run across clients, so you have to start it separately in every client that you have.
The conversion is required because, in the new HR organizational model, external objects can no longer be stored as object 'O' (=organizational unit); consequently, it is no longer possible to create positions for external objects.
This has the following effects for external business partners who are stored in the organizational model:
The old root object, the 'Central Organizational Unit for Vendors' will in future not be an organizational unit, but rather an organizational object of the type 'VG' (=vendor group)
The interim nodes that were created for reasons of system performance (each containing 100 vendors/bidders) will in future not be an organizational unit, but rather an organizational object of the type 'VG' (=vendor group)
The external business partners of the type Organization (bidders, vendors) are no longer represented by a separate organizational object (in other words, there is no longer an organizational object that has the identity relationship to the partner)
Since the org. object that previously represented the partners is missing, the business partners are now linked directly with the interim nodes (previously, the organizational unit for the partner, and not the partner itself, was linked)
If a business partner has a set of attributes that is different to the attribute values specified for the interim node, the partner in question is not linked directly to the interim node, but rather to another 'VG' object (which has the attributes of the partner), which in turn is linked to the interim node.
Previously, if an external business partner had an employee and this employee has a user in the system, the employee staffed the position in the organizational unit that represented the partner. However, since this organizational unit no longer exists, the position and the staffing relationship no longer exist either. This means, among other things, that there is no reporting option in HR that enables you to navigate from a user to the business partner of the user's company.
Since there is currently no way of directly assigning a user to a business partner (of the type Person), the organizational object 'CP' (=Central Person) is still used to establish this link.
Once the conversion report has run successfully, you will no longer be able to see the organizational structure of the external business partners by calling transaction PPOSA_BBP (or PPOMA_BBP).
However, a new transaction called PPOMV_BBP is available instead. You can use this transaction to display the converted (and newly generated) structure for bidders/vendors.
    Prerequisites
Before you actually convert your organizational structure, you should let the report check the structure, and correct any errors that the report detects.
    Features
The report has the following features:
A 'Check Only' mode is available, which you can use to check the consistency of the organizational structure of the external business partners at different levels
The report can be restarted. This means if the conversion is canceled due to errors or system problems, and you restart the report, it will recognize any new objects that have already been generated, thus ensuring that structure elements that have already been processed are not converted a second time (this is achieved by evaluating at runtime the log tables BBP_O_TO_VG_OBJ (for generated objects) and BBP_O_TO_VG_REL (for generated relationships)).
If you use table BBP_MARKETP_INFO to store the root organizational units, the report changes the old entries accordingly.
The report writes an application log (log object BBP_XPRA_O_TO_VG) in which messages are logged at two different levels; alternatively, you can request that the message be output directly ('WRITE', for background spool lists).
Although we do not recommend that you do this (because it can result in very long response times), you can run the report in parallel and thus convert several root organizational units at the same time.
    Activities
Start the report for every 'Central Organizational Unit for Vendors' (root organizational units for external business partners) in every client that you use.
    Annotations
We recommend that you do not use the 'Direct Message Output' option (that is, the option where an application log is not written) in conjunction with the 'Detailed Message Output' option for larger organizational structures, because every object and relationship that is generated will be output, and you will not feasibly be able to process this list.
Even if you use it in conjunction with the writing of an application log, the 'Detailed Message Output' option rarely makes sense if you have tens or hundreds of thousands of vendors/bidders.
    Estimated work/expenditure necessary
The runtime for this report depends on the hardware, system load, and structure involved (for example, the number of vendors/bidders who have employees and users and, therefore, also positions, the number of vendors who have attributes different than those of the interim node, and so on).
As a rule of thumb, though, structures with vendors where 10% of users have their own individual attributes are processed at the rate of approximately 25,000 per hour.
Remember, however, that the time required depends to a large degree on the number of nodes where local attributes have been defined, and on the number of business partners who have users.
This can lead to situations where an organizational structure with 100,000 nodes but no local attributes or users can be converted more quickly that a structure with only 5,000 nodes but with local attributes and assigned users.
    Hope this will help.

  • View of organizational unit in Service request

    Hi everyone,
In our service request, we are trying to visualise all the organizational unit (of the organization model) of a BP.
We achieve to see the direct service group where the BP is assigned but we are trying to see more of the link to the organizational model.
For example : our organizational model looks like this:
For user AJAUSSAUD1, I can see the direct link to PSE Equiment in my service request (this is determined in the partner schema determination)
However, we would like to be able to see MC1 (here 3 level above) in the service request.
We are using service organization as function and all the organizational unit are determined as service organization as we are using it to authorizations access.
Does anyone know if there is a way to see the link with all the organizational unit of a user in a service request?
Would it be with the attribute available in the ppoma-crm, but how to add the field and make them available in the service request view?
    Thank you,
    Regards,
    Anaïs

    Hello Anais,
As far as I know, there is no standard way to view an organizational hierarchy in a service request. You will need to do some developments. There are two options -
    1. If you want the 3 org levels to be stored in data base table for future reference and reporting
You can add 3 fields in ORGMAN sub object using AET. This will add the fields to table CRMD_ORGMAN. After org determination has happened in your service request, you can use BAdi - CRM_ORGMAN_BADI, methd - CRM_ORGMAN_MERGE to fill values of these 3 org levels. You have to recursively use functions or query table HRP1001 to get the parent of determined service org and then its parent and so on.
Remember once these 3 fields are added at database level, they are available for all transaction types of one order. These fields can be made available to BW queues also at time of adding them.
    2. If you do not want the 3 org levels to be stored in data base table
This would mean you only want these fields for display to end user.
Add 3 model nodes in the web ui component. In the getter method of 1st field, add select query or call function to get parent of determined service org. Similarly for other 2 fields.
Hope this will help. Maybe you also get some different suggestion from other guys.

  • CATC  report using Organizational unit

    hello friends,
I am coming across one problem in CATC.
Here i give following data input:
Data selection period: give dates from & to
    Company code: 009
    Organization unit: 2022400
Period type: 1 (Daily data entry)
When I executes the transaction, the error is seen as:
    System error:
    Message no. LR666
    Diagnosis
    An internal error has occurred.
on investigation, Org 2022400 has 50 persons assigned and in those, only for one personal number, this error is coming.
If i exclude this person and execute the tode, it is running fine.
(But, If we execute the Tcode with Period type as 2- Weekly data entry, then report is executing without any problem for this person also)
But we want to have the report executed with giving orgunit as input and Period type: 1.
can we find out what will be the problem with this single person? why it is not supporting the period type 1.
    Thanks,
    Madhu

    Hi Robert,
it should be possible to do that by modifying your method filter. Method filters are used to control the range of models, objects, relationships and attributes that can be used. You can change an existing filter or create a new one depending on your requirements. Go to the Administration modul and expand "configurations/filter" for your server.
I don't know anything about your requirements but let me add one more comment. If you add the organisation object as mentioned above, your BPMN model will not be standard conform anymore. From my point if view this is something you really need to consider in advance (and you should avoid). If you change the range of objects the model might not be readable for other (future) modelers in your team. You also need to document all of these modifications in your personal "method manual". Overall I would not recommend it!
The Function Allocation Diagrams are very similar to the EPC. The FAD has nearly all objects available as the EPC, and has the same connections between functions and other objects. This is why you can use the Organizational Unit there - it uses another "standard". The FAD has been developed in order to restrict the detail of EPCs. Use FADs to further describe a function - as it is for the SOA Extensions (Automated Activity, Human Task, Business Rule, Notification).
Please let me know if you need some more details.
    Best regards,
    Danilo

  • Create a BP type BUP004 (Organizational Unit)

    Hello,
I've created an Organizational Unit in CRM but there is no Business Partner created and assigned. When I try to create a service order for a customer with the attributes of the OUnit, system says that I heve no BP associated to the OU. I've seen in tx BP but the role BUP004 is not visible.
How can I create a BP associated to the organizational unit? Should I create the BP first? But I can not see this role?
    Can anyone help me?
    Thanks
    Teresa

    Hi Teresa,
For a BP to be generated for your OU you need to maintain the following settings
    1. Transaction code     SPRO
SAP CRM IMG menu     CRM --> Master Data --> Business Partner --> Integration Business Partner u2013> Organizational Management ->Set Up Integration with Organizational Management
2.Enter the following values for the existing combination of Group and Sem.abbr.:
Group     Sem. Abbr.     Value abbr.     Description
HRALX     HRAC     X     Activate HR Integration
HRALX     OBPON     ON     Integration O-BP Activated
HRALX     ONUMB     2     Business Partner Number Assignment (Org. Unit)
HRALX     OSUBG     Y4     Business Partner Subgroup (Organizational Unit)
    -> Number Range
Now when you carete an OU, a BP no. will get generated
Incase it does not happen run   report, CRM_OM_BP_INTEGRATE
This will give you inforamtion as to wahat is missing in your OU

  • How to drive sales order Organizational Unit to equal the Sales Office

CRM 7.0, sales order is using org rule ORGMAN_23 which has FM CRM_ORGMAN_ORGOBJECTS_FIND_11
The sales order finds the sales org, dist channel, division, sales office, and sales group but the Organizational Unit always matches the sales group.
Will any of the delivered FM's used in PFAC
    CRM_ORGMAN_ORGOBJECTS_FIND_1
    CRM_ORGMAN_ORGOBJECTS_FIND_2
    CRM_ORGMAN_ORGOBJECTS_FIND_3 ......
return the results I desire? or will we need to copy and modify one of these FM's.

    Hello,
You need to adjust your org structure in ppoma_crm.
Currently the org unit which is mapped to an ECC sales group holds the attributes that mapped to the BP's sales area data.
(If you are using rule ORGMAN_23).
Please create an org unit, which is not mapped to the sales group, with the desired attributes, then assign the BP to this org unit.
    Best regards,
    Maggie
