OSB Cluster: Defining target server for mailpoll failed (Weblogic 10.3.3.0)

Hi!
Deploying is fine without email polling. But with email polling proxy service deployed (Eclipse OEPE) fails with the errormsg:
*[WliSbTransports:381611]Poller target server should be specified in case of cluster domain.*
To solve this problem, I've tried to set the target server but not found in weblogic console. The domain created with Configuration Wizard.
The cluster consists of two managed servers + loadbalancer + adminserver.
Topology: http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/6128/mozscreenshot69.png
BEA-381611
Error: Poller target server should be specified in case of cluster domain.
Description
     Poller target server should be specified in case of cluster domain.
Action
     Make sure that the File proxy configuration has one of the managed servers as poller target server if it is running in the cluster.
Edited by: shuttle on 2011.01.21. 4:14

Select the managed server in "Managed Server" setting in E-Mail Transport Configuration Page on sbconsole (of your proxy)

  • Error targeting server for the EJB module while deploying the sample banking application

    I am currently having a very difficult time attempting to deploy the
    example banking application that I downloaded from the BEA website. I
    have followed all of the steps in the "Hands On: Deploying the Sample
    Banking Application" document, and I do fine until I get to the next to
    last step. When I attempt to target the server for the EJB module, the
    deployment process generates the error that I have included at the end
    of this message.
    I can get to the login.html page under "http://localhost:7001/banking/",
    but after that I can't go further.
    Any suggestions. BTW, in case you haven't figured it out, I'm brand new
    to BEA WebLogic server.
    Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

    The deployment process invokes javac internally to compile some generated classes.
    Do you have javac installed and in the path?

    We have the following problem. If, for any reason, the URL of the Web Service changes (i.e. the hostname or the port),  we have to rebuild the whole project and then redeploy the project.
    Is there a way to change this URL dynamically by java-code?
    Thanks in advance,
    Jarle

    Hi,
    You can get Server name Dynamically. You follow the below steps.
    1. Create a HTTP Destination in visual administrator which stores the server name and port.
    2. Access this variable in your controller init method and build your web service url with server name and port and use _setEndPoint() method
    String prefixURL = "http://";
    // your Service Address...remove the first part from service url.
    String serviceURL = "/TestService/Config1?style=document";
    DestinationService dstService = (DestinationService) obj;
    Destination destination = dstService.getDestination("HTTP","ApplicationServer");
    Properties destprop = destination.getDestinationProperties();
    HTTPDestination httpDestination = (HTTPDestination) destination;
    String serverName = httpDestination.getUrl();
    prefixURL = prefixURL + serverName;
    String testURL = prefixURL + serviceURL;
    Request<Obj> testReq = new Request<Obj>();
    testReq._setEndPoint(testURL);
    You need to import below files into your project.
    import com.sap.security.core.server.destinations.api.Destination;
    import com.sap.security.core.server.destinations.api.DestinationService;
    import com.sap.security.core.server.destinations.api.HTTPDestination;
    import java.net.HttpURLConnection;
    import java.util.Properties
    hope it solved your problem.

  • Defining target page for category banner link

    When showing the group by category banner in an item region the category name shows up as a link. I need the target of this link to be a page I can control the look and feel of - how to?

    In Release 2 (9.0.2) and later you can modify the category pages just like any other page, including controlling the attributes that appear. In 9.0.2.6 you can now apply a template to these pages as well.
    In 3.0.x you have limited ability to control the appearance - the folder will pick up the style of the root folder of the page group. Otherwise, the appearance of the folder is fixed.

  • How to define a different Server for Firefox Sync

  • Cannot create web service: target server does not support JAXRPC

    I created a web application project, with bundled Tomcat5.5 as server. When I tried to create a web service (right click project name, select New->web service), I got a error message saying "The current target server for this project does not support JAXRPC so no web service can be created". I tried adding jaxrpc lib to the project, it didn't work. I also tried to add jaxrpc jar to Tomcat using Server Manager, it didn't work either.
    Did I miss anything, during installation or project setup...? Is there a way to make the problem go away?
    Many thanks for your help.

    Can you please try the bundled Sun Java System Application Server as the target server for the project? (You can change the target server from the project's properties dialog, in the 'Run' category, using the 'server' drop-down box).
    I also noticed the same error message as you when i set my target server to bundled tomcat; when i changes the server to SJSA, the message went away.
    When i searched in the IDE Help (by selecting Help | Help Contents menu item, switching to 'search' tab in the help window , typing 'jwsdp tomcat' in the Find box and pressing enter), I came across the topic "Using JWSDP 1.6 on the Tomcat Web Server". This topic explains how to install Web Services Developer Pack on tomcat server. I could be wrong but I think this perhaps needs to be installed manually...

  • OSB: cluster creation script fails to delete migratable targets

    Hi,
    I am working on a wslt script which creates an OSB domain with a cluster with one admin server and two managed servers. In this script, after adding the OSB required templates, I would like to delete the migratable targets created by the template. I do this like this:
    cut
    def deleteResources(mbeanType):
         log ('Deleting resources of type %s' % mbeanType)
         cd('/')
         mbeans = get(mbeanType+'s')
         for mbean in mbeans:
              log ('\tDeleting %s' % mbean.name)
              cd('/')
              delete(mbean.name, mbeanType)
    def deleteTemplateGeneratedResources():
         deleteResources('JMSServer')
         deleteResources('SAFAgent')
         deleteResources('FileStore')
         deleteResources('JMSSystemResource')
         deleteResources('JDBCSystemResource')
         deleteResources('MigratableTarget')
    deleteTemplateGeneratedResources()
    cut
    This goes through but when I save the domain (updateDomain()) the migratable targets still exist! I tried it manually on this domain after I do the delete() the migratable targets disapper (ls('/MigratableTarget') fails saying there is no MigratableTarget). However, after I do an updateDomain() the migratable targets remain. How can I get rid of them? Why don't they get removed?
    Regards
    Dimo

    I tried deleting and creating them anew but it then messes up the configuration of the migratable targets. What seems to work now is to delete them, create new ones with DIFFERENT names and then updateDomain(). In this case the old ones get really deleted. Really messy stuff.

  • Trying to create reference for application in target server failed;

    I have an ear file that I am trying to deploy using the "Deploy Enterprise Applications/Modules" page on the console.
    The console gives me a message saying
    "Trying to create reference for application in target server failed; Application tsom_oes is not found in config context"
    tsom_oes is the name of my application, or it was. I've changed every instance of that name I can find and still it tells me it is looking for tsom_oes.
    Can anyone tell me just what is looking for it and where it is expecting to find it?
    I ran the verifier on the ear file and it did give me some errors, although none of them seem to relate to this. Specifically it told me it did not like the xml in a tld file I'm using
    and it seems to think Hibernate needs a bunch of JBoss classes (none of which are referred to by my app anywhere). I'm guessing the verify is mistaken on those, but if anyone knows better I'd like to hear
    Meanwhile I don't know why it won't deploy, nor why it is still looking for tsom_oes.
    One more thing I must add: this ear file exposes portlets which I am hoping will be accessible through the portal server. The ear file works on JBoss, but I have added what I think are the necessary sun xml files to make it run here.
    By 'exposes portlets' I mean that I have created a sun-portlet.xml and implemented the appropriate interfaces (all of which work on JBoss).
    Environment:
    Sun App server 9.1 plus portal server 7.2 on Windows XP

    Okay, I found the answer. I had hacked the domain.xml for this some time ago (this task has been off and on a lot) and forgotten.
    I found the tsom_oes reference in there and removed it. Now it deploys.
    Hopefully this helps someone else some day... probably not though, eh?

    I don't think you have your principal name defined correctly.
    It should be in the following format:

  • Error determining whether the target server is already a domain controller: Failed to open the runspace pool

    Hi there , i already have some others DC running w2k12 R2 on the env, but when i was promoting another new DC running w2k12 R2 on the middle of the AD sync , the server encounter an error and rebooted it self ; after the server came back online , it keep

    Hi,
    Thanks for your post.

  • Non-SysAdmins get error 18456 Severity 14 State 11 Login Failed for user _ Reason Token-based server access validation failed with an infrastructure error.

    I have a SQL 2008 R2 system (10.50.4000) where I'm having problems connecting any user that is not a SysAdmin.  Example: I setup a new SQL Login to use Windows Authentication and grant that user db_datareader on the target database.  The user attempts
    to connect using Excel client or Access or SQL Management Studio and receives Error 18456.  The SQL Server Logs shows Error 18456 Severity 14 State 11 Login Failed for user _ Reason Token-based server access validation failed with an infrastructure error.
    The strange part is that if I temporarily grant the user the sysadmin server role then the user can connect successfully and retrieve data.  But, if I take away that sysadmin server role then the user can no longer connect but again receives the Error
    18456 Severity 14 State 11 Login Failed for user _ Reason Token-based server access validation failed with an infrastructure error.
    We've turned off UAC on the client machine to see if that was the problem, but no change.
    I have dropped and re-added the user's SQL Login (and the related database user login info).  No success.
    The Ring Buffers output shows:
    The Calling API Name: LookupAccountSidInternal
    API Name: LookupAccountSid
    Error Code: 0x534
    Thanks for any help.
    -Walt

    Yes, you understand correctly.  The user is logging onto a workstation (not the server) with a Windows Authenticated id.  The user is using either Excel or Access or SSMS and connecting to the server using a Windows Authenticated SQL Login account.
     If the account has sysadmin role (which is only for testing) then the connection is successful.  If I take away sysadmin role from the account then the connection is unsuccessful and the SQL Server Log shows Error
    18456 Severity 14 State 11 Login Failed for user _ Reason Token-based server access validation failed with an infrastructure error.
    (SQL Authentication is not an option here.  I must use Windows Authentication).
    Any other troubleshooting assistance you can offer would be appreciated.  Thanks.
