Osb cluster- HTTP proxy service 404 error
Hi All,
I have a cluster set up with 2 managed servers. I crated a Any SOAP proxy from sbconsole to test If I can reach managed server form an external service. I do not have front load balancer set yet.
osb server1: rdoelapp001011:61703
osb:server2:rdoelapp001013:61703
admin server : rdoelapp001011:61701
when I am trying to access http proxy using any of osb server host and port I am getting 404 error ( From the admin console I could see all the servers are running)
surprisingly I am getting success (200) when I am using admin server host and port.
That means the proxy is not got deployed to the managed server, it deployed to admin server
I looked into few weblogic/OSB document, I could not see anything specific regarding deploying HTTP proxy to osb servers in a cluster
How would I make sure to deploy to the cluster not to admin server
I also tried creating a file poller proxy to see if I get "Managed server" option to set. But I do not see that option here.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

According to your suggestion, I created a domain from scratch using config wizard with a cluster with two managed server
I started admin server then started managed server
I do not have any JMS stuff created/configured yet
while starting up managed OSB server I am getting below error. I think it is related JMS reporting stuff. In my scenario we do not need any reporting feature.
How would I disable it? while creating domain I did not select the ckeckbox for reporting. Then where did it come from?
Please suggest.

Urgent ! Creating https proxy service in OSB
Hi All,
I am trying to create a proxy service with https(1 way) in OSB.I followed these steps,or rather tried.I am trying to use the default SSL keystores(Demo Identity and Demo Trust)
I made sure that the demonstration Identity and Trust keystores are located in the WL_HOME\server\lib directory and configured by default and the cacerts file in the JAVA_HOME\jre\lib\security directory.
But when I tried to create a service key provider in OSB I get this error "<There is no PKI credential mapper provider configured in your security realm. Service key provider management will be disabled. Configure a PKI credential mapper provider if you need service provider support. This is typically the case if you have Oracle Service Bus proxy services with web service security enabled or outbound 2-way SSL connections.>"
And when i try to create a PKI Credential mapper then I encounter this "This page is used to create a PKI credential mapping.
A PKI provider must be created and configured before a PKI credential mapping can be created."
Is there anything that I am missing?
Please advice ASAP.
Thanks
SridharI have done this in my development server and it works fineOnly one service can listen on one port and hence you should assign unique ports to each server in Weblogic domain (including Admin server). Two weblogic servers cann't listen on one port. Make sure that ports assigned to the servers are not already in use by any other application/service including any other Weblogic server.

OSB 11g - list Proxy services with enabled tracing
Hello.
I went through OSB API and haven't found out a way, how to by script (Java or WLST):
- list Proxy service with enabled 'Execution Tracing'
- enabled and disable 'Execution Tracing'
Is there a way, how to do this by script somehow? I know, how to do it in SB console (e.g. on Smart Search page), but that's not what I want.
Thank you for your helpYou may like to refer metalink note 1380705.1 and OSB java API (section "Using MBeans in a script")-

Local transport proxy service vs http proxy service
Hi,
Can anybody tell me why it is better to use Local transport proxy service in OSB than http for modularity?Hi Atheek,
Thanks for you reply.
My doubt is where local transport proxy service is deployed?
Like if we invoke a http based proxy service which is deployed at certain Endpoint and jms based proxy service is deployed as MDB which kepps listening to a queue.
Similarly, when i invoke local transport proxy service where and how OSB runtime looks for it?

that mirror was not synced yet when you did the upgrade (the last sync ended today at 10:54 UTC, about 17 mitues after you posted on this borad). It should be ok now, just try to redo the update. Next time, you may want to check first the status of the mirrors https://www.archlinux.org/mirrors/status

HTTP proxy server connection error
My iPhone4S can't connect well to 3G, only works properly with WIFI connection. When i try to navegate with safari or other apps, HTTP proxy error is shown. I only receive notifications, but when i try to open the specify app: server error. Its weird, because for instance, whatsapp and mail clients like sparrow works properly with 3G. I can update my mail and send whatsapp, but i cant receive or send any attachments.
I've tried to reset my iphone, and reset my network configuration, but the problem is still there.
Thanks everyone!I had this problem. It started when I took my unlocked iPhone from Australia on a Telstra SIM to the U.S. and put in a Straight Talk SIM. I used unlockit.co.nz to generate a new APN for my phone while on Straight Talk, which worked fine.
However, upon coming back to Australia and reinserting my Telstra SIM, I couldn't access HTTP. My VPN would start over 3G and I could get push notifications and data in some apps, but anything that used HTTP, including Safari, would give me the proxy error or a network timeout error. Wifi worked perfectly.
I called Telstra and they said it wasn't them. I was sitting on hold with Apple Care when I thought to try inserting my colleague's Telstra SIM into my phone and, voila, it worked perfectly. I hung up and called Telstra back to complain but while on hold I put my own old Telstra SIM back in only to find that I had fixed my problem.
So try inserting a known, working SIM from the same carrier and see if that fixes your problem. Stopping into one of their stores may be the answer if you don't have any other SIMs handy.
I suspect that somewhere in the iPhone an HTTP proxy for 3G setting was set and stuck, and trying a new SIM erased that setting. -
I am getting no HTTP proxy not supported error when I try to open HBOGo App on my iPad
When I try to open my HBOGo or MaxGo apps on my iPad, I am getting an error that states "Your current HTTP proxy is not supported by this application. Plese remove it from your Wi-Fi settings to enable video playback". I have reset the iPad, deleted and reinstalled the Apps, synced my iPad. My Wi-Fi settings are defaulted to off. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
To all that are getting the http proxy message when trying to view hbogo, Deggie has the right answer: go to wifi settings, when you find your wireless connection tap the arrow on the right and if proxy is on "auto" switch it to "off." I had been watching hbo go just fine then suddenly I got this message about http proxy does not support video playback, I did as Deggie suggested and Bingo.

Increases number of JMS consumers in an OSB jms-polling proxy service
Hi All,
I'm looking for an option of increasing the number of JMS consumers in a JMS OSB proxy service. I know that this is possible by modifying the ejb, but I'm looking for any other option by using weblogic/proxy configuration. When I monitor the queue I have a number of 16 message consumers, but I would need to increse it to a higher number in order to improve the performance.
Please send me any suggestion o advice to solve it.
Thanks in advance
LuisSorry I sent it to the wrong place. I have moved it to Weblogic

Http proxy server connetion error

thanks in advanceHere is a java HTTP server you can use instead of IIS (comes from the burrowing through firewalls article). This class allways sends the same response to any request on port 80 but it should be a good tool to test your proxy server (as to what requests the proxy sends and if the proxy pickes up the response).
Stop IIS on the IIS pc and run the following class:

HTTPS web service connection errors
We have a Java web application that accesses a Web Service using https. Last week the hosts of the web service installed a new signed SSL certificate. As soon as they installed the new certificate, our Java web app stopped working. When we try and access the web service via the web app we get the following error:
2008-05-16 20:20:07,226 ERROR [org.codehaus.xfire.transport.http.HttpChannel] - javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target
2008-05-16 20:20:07,237 ERROR [grantee.GranteeServlet] - Could not invoke service.. Nested exception is org.codehaus.xfire.fault.XFireFault: Couldn't send message.
The Operating System is Solaris, The Web application server is Tomcat 5.5, and the JDK java version is "1.5.0_05".
The confusing part is that we can test the web service using SOAP UI. We can access the webservice that way. So the web service seems to be working correctly, but our Web Application can't seem to connect to it.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance, and let me know if you have any more questions.Hi Aaron,
You may want to try formatting the cell of "ModifiedOn" to a TEXT format instead of date to get yyyy/mm/dd formatting to appear.
It seems that Xcelsius automatically converts any type of date-specific formatting (as specified from Excel) to a date serial, which is what you are seeing here.
Hope that works. -
Pls the problem started when the system administrator change some of the roles all the service accounts on the active directory. So when I restarted the sharepoint server i noticed the following
1) the sharepoint intranet site does not open. it come ups with errror messages
2) the sharepoint central administration could not open as well
Pls what do i doHi ticodalo, there could be many reasons for this. Check the following links to see if they help:

Handling Transport Errors in OSB Proxy Services
Hi,
I have a requirement of storing and handling Transport level Security Errors in my proxy services . In fact, my proxy services are secured with HTTP Basic Authentication and i am not able to catch authentication errors. I added a Service Error Handler to my proxy service but unfortunatly it doesn't handle these errors.
Does anyone know how can we catch these errors in OSB, and if it is possible to execute activities like alerts, reports, logging in these cases.
I read in some blogs that Error handlers are nested like this : Route Node -> Proxy Service -> System Error Handler
so maybe it would be good to customize the System Error Handler Behavior. I don't know if this is possible.
Any help will be appreciated.
Best regards
FaroukTransport level authentication is done at transport layer even before the actual proxy service gets initiated. So you wont be able to catch authentication errors in the proxy service (and do alerting/logging/reporting etc). You can probably try enabling debug logging for HTTP protocol and see if you can capture these errors in the Access.log of the servers.

Reset the HTTP response code in OSB for proxy service
Hi,
I created a HTTP proxy service in ALSB with any XML message option. There are some business scnearios for which i need to send a custom error message in the HTTP body. I am replacing the $body variable with the error message and sending reply with success.As i am using reply with success it sends a HTTP response status code as 200 Ok.
However based on different error conditions i want to send appropraite http response code. How can this be achieved?I would like to share the solution so that it would be useful to all the users of the forum.
There is a http:http-response-code element in the $inbound variable which is optional element. You need to insert this element to the $inbound using the insert action. Here is the extract of the code:
Insert [<http:http-response-code>401</http:http-response-code>] [ as last child of ] [./con:transport/con:response] in [inbound]
Please note namespace con belongs to "http://www.bea.com/wli/sb/context".

SOAP Header based user/password authentication in OSB 11g Proxy Service
Hi,
I have implemented SOAP Header based authentication in my OSB 11g Proxy Service.
In the Security settings of my AnySOAP(Soap 1.1) HTTP Proxy service, I have amde the following changes:
1.
In Transport Access Control link, i selected the User predicate, and provided an user already existing on weblogic server with following roles(AppTesters, Monitors, Operators).
The AuthorizationProvider was XACMLAuthorizer
2.
Under Custom Authentication, I selected the Custom User Name and Password option, and provided the below mentiioned xpaths
User Name XPath: ./*/*:Username/text()
User Password XPath: ./*/*:Password/text()
3.
In Message Access Control link, i selected the User predicate with the same user as mentioned in Transport Access Control link.
Now, when I am testing this service from OSB Test Console, I am providing the following input.
<soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:N1="http://abcd.com/common/bodcomponents/transactional/model/1.0/">
<soap:Header>
<AuthHeader>
<N1:Username>userXYZ</N1:Username>
<N1:Password>passXYZ</N1:Password>
</AuthHeader>
</soap:Header>
<soap:Body>
<!-- body payload -->
</soap:Body>
</soap:Envelope>
The response is "The invocation resulted in an error: ."
The OSB server logs show the below error:

Please suggest where I am going wrong in this. I have cross checked the user/pass credentials with what I am giving in the input, and it is perfectly fine.I have added the Username and Password as follows, since the namespace declaration was required due to the namespace prefix 'N1' in the XPath
declare namespace N1="http://abcd.com/common/bodcomponents/transactional/model/1.0/";./AuthHeader/N1:Username/text()
declare namespace N1="http://abcdp.com/common/bodcomponents/transactional/model/1.0/";./AuthHeader/N1:Password/text()
I have removed the Message Access Control conditions, have only kept Transport Access Control conditions.
If i keep the condition in Transport Access Control as "Allow access to everyone", and test with proper credentials in the Username/Password tags in SOAP Header, then it works fine. However, if I try to give an incorrect password in the SOAP Header, it denies the access. So that means the XPaths given for Username/Password are working fine. The OSB logs show the below message
+####<Feb 10, 2011 12:59:21 PM IST> <Error> <OSB Security> <test.abcd.co.in> <osb_server1> <[ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '7' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'> <<anonymous>> <> <5a5769b8025ef997:-2bda316:12def49100a:-7fff-0000000000000ef2> <1297322961536> <BEA-386008> <Message level username/password authentication failed: [Security:090304]Authentication Failed: User weblogic javax.security.auth.login.FailedLoginException: [Security:090302]Authentication Failed: User weblogic denied>+
However if i add the condition with predicate as "User" and user name argument as "weblogic", and try to pass the same in the SOAP Header as well with the correct password, it denies the access with below message in the logs.
