OSP Resource is defaulted to the operation in Job Order
Hi
The OSP resource is not attached to any of the operation in my routing for an assembly.But When i create a discrete Job Order for that assembly,OSP resource is attached automatically for one of the operation in the Job Order.
Can someone explain me how this is happening?.From where this OSP resouce is getting attached or derfaulted.

Like Sandeep mentioned it cannot have an OSP resource unless
1) Routing is referenced with another assembly which has OSP
2) Has a an alternate routing which has OSP and is used in Job creation
3) Manually adding OSP resource to a the specific job
If none of these are true please check for customizations done.

Hi, I am running a program where I have 4 nidaq cards on a single machine, all connected. I am trying to start a counter and keep getting that error (daqmx error num: -50103 with message: The specified resource is reserved. The operation could not be completed as specified.) in two places in my code. I understand what the error means (you can only have one task of a type per card), but I don't see where that is occuring in my code.
See below for code. I noted the two places where the error is occuring. I am debugging someone else's code, which is part of the problem.

The system-statuses cannot be set manually by the user (like you can with user-statuses).
You need to process a function to make these statuses change, e.g. releasing the order header, TECOing and order or dispatching operations. Alternatively you can develop a solution that may be able to change these statuses (see above post).
I don't think you will be able to set the TECO status on individual operations.
Have you considered user-statuses on the operations?

How to check whether a default browser is opened in the operating system?
Hi,
I am newbie here. During my work, I faced an interesting problem. I need to:
- check whether a default html browser is opened;
- check whether the browser is minimized/maximized (simply, a window's state);
- get an url address typed in the browser.
If any of these conditions is not met, I have to open the browser in a maximized view with a desired url address. I primarily wanted to do all this in Java, but it came to my mind that I should employ many techniques/technologies and combine them appropriately to complete the functionality. But, which ones? That's the problem. I just recalled Windows API, but I'm not sure if it is of any help... On another forum, some users suggested that I should consider JNI... At this time, I only know how to open a default browser (e.g. with use of the 'browse(URI uri)' method of the 'java.awt.Desktop' class) - that's too little to be proud of. Please give me some hints, maybe links to reasonable discussions, I would greatly appreciate any suggestions how to approach the problem.Crosspost! We have checked the Anti Virus but all data files are excluded. We have also disabled the anti virus for some time but still issue persist.
This is a Virtual Machine and no VM snapshot backup is running during the time window.

I sense a disk issue here( I am not sure).Log for database is not available seems when data needs to be written on log file it was not avaialble.Can you check with storage team that disk on which SQL server files reside is OK
Secondly did you run DBCC CHECKDB for your database in picture can you paste result of it.

we are able to load data into staging area, but while processing stored procedures system face bellow error message :

Based on my research, this issue can be occurred in the following scenarios:
You are running a DBCC command on a large database. For example, you are running the DBCC CHECKDB statement on the database. At the same time, you run many DML statements on the database.
You create a database snapshot for a large database. At the same time, you are running many DML statements on the database.
In these scenarios, the SQL Server service stops responding. The DBCC CHECK statement is never completed, and you receive the error message repeatedly.
This issue occurs because the sparse file for a database snapshot file has exceeded the file size limitation in NTFS file system. When the operating system error 1450 occurs, SQL Server enters an infinite retry loop.
To fix this issue, please download and install Cumulative update package 1 for SQL Server 2008 Service Pack 1. Besides, because the fixes are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous
SQL Server 2008 fix release. We recommend that you consider applying the most recent fix release that contains this hotfix.

I am beginner for windows 8 app development.
I created simple project on domain name called www.aaa.com and also hosted web services on same domain. at that time i was able to access web services on my application code using AJAX. Then i created same project on another domain called www.bbb.com then
i tried to access wcf services from www.aaa.com domain. at that time my javaScript console is throwing this error "SCRIPT7002: XMLHttpRequest: Network Error 0x2efd, Could not complete the operation due to error 00002efd.
File: default.html". I tried some thing on both end on web services project as well as windows 8 app.
AT app side in package.appxmanifest file i added below code.

HardikIn that case, I recommend that you collect a Network trace using a tool such as Microsoft Network Monitor or Wireshark to understand what IP Address is the connection being made to. The 0x2efd error correlates to the WinINet error: ERROR_INTERNET_CANNOT_CONNECT
meaning that the connection with the remote server cannot be established. When you collect a network trace, try looking for the TCP-SYN signal and see whether your remote server responds with a SYN-ACK.

The operation has timed out default value too low - c# windows application
Hello,
I get the message that the operation has timed out when certain operations take too long, which would be any on our development/test server.
I either need to make an asychronous call which I will investigate or to find the code that sets this value to ten minutes.
Anybody know how to reset the value to ten minutes?

StephanieThe timeout is occurring on the client so it not a particular error that's being returned by the server.
The default timeout with the EWS Managed API is 90 seconds and is set on the ExchangeService Object. You can set this to a higher value eg to set it to 5 minutes
server.timeout = 300000;
Why it fails ? if its overnight then Backups can be the cause eg if they are snapshotting the server or some other backup mechanism could mean the server is very busy for a time. Or any other number of specific environmental factors. This is really
a job for your Network admin to determine with server and network monitoring. I would suggest you check the EWS.Log on the Exchange server to see what happened at that time.
What you should do at a code level is handle the exception, I would suggest wait for 60 seconds after the exception (this will cater for most throttling issues) and then try the same request again. If it fails again after a pause then
you generally have a larger problem.

SharePoint 2007 performance issue after upgrading the operating system
We upgraded the operating system of our SharePoint Server 2007 from 2003 to 2008 R2. After upgrade we rebuilt the SharePoint using content DBs we backed up before upgrade. All settings is same except that we moved the DBs to new SQL servers. Now users are
reporting performance issue with sites. I experienced it myself some of the pages takes 9-30 seconds to load. Also our SharePoint server is single server. I monitored the SharePoint Server and it is fine. I did fiddler trace and here are the result. I see
lots of 401 (login failed) errors then 302 (redirect) then 200 (OK). Do you know why we are getting 401 errors?

Custom exit or badi for changing the user fields in operation of process order
Hi all
I want to find a exit or badi to set default value to the user fields in operation of process order when COR1.
I have tried exit 'PPCO0001', but this exit is call after commit work, so I can not change any thing
I also tried to use badi 'workorder_update', 'before_update', but all parameters in this BADI are importing, can't be changed, I've tried to change it and then program dump.
Do you have any solution for this question?

The following error comes up when I try to install the updated Firefox:
"The operation can’t be completed because some items had to be skipped. For each item, choose File > Get Info, make sure “Locked” is deselected, and then check the Sharing & Permissions section. When you are sure the items are unlocked and not designated as Read Only or No Access, try again."
When I follow the instructions in the error message, it shows that my user name has read and write access. There are a couple other items that are read only. I tried to change this to read and write, but the Sharing and Permissions options are greyed out and will not let me change them. What is the work around for this? I would really like to install the new firefox.

My scenario is as follows.
I ve one material suppose xyz.
For that material I' ve created bom, routing.
In routing I' ve mention only one operation. 0010.
Now I' ve the production order of 1000 kg.
I want to use two work centers to run this production order. ( e.g.work center a and b)
In routing I used work center a.
In short I want split that operation.
So what I ve to do or use parallel sequence and how???
or else is there any other option to split the order to two or more machines/work center?
Pls explain me in brief.

If you want to carry the production with two different work centers , first you need to split the operation qty.
For this in the order type dependent parameters OPL8
in the controlling tab page enable the indicator Cost collector
and set the default rule as PP2.
Create a Product cost collector with KKF6N.
Now in the production order , select the operation and choose functions--->>> split.
Now enter the operation split quantity and execute.
Now in MD04 you can see two production order.
In the second production order change the work center in the operation overview as desired and save.
