confirmation control key does not get popluated in SRM correctly even after implementing the OSS note.
Can someone help me in this?

TANN item category item not picking for return sales order

If you are making return order by copying sales order then please see this procedure also.
Try to check in the copy control also.
Go to the following path IMG u2013 Sales and Distribution u2013 Sales u2013 Maintain Copy control for sales documents. (Tcode VTAA)
Select copying control : sales document to sales document.
Search your return delivery order from the reference sales document type.
Then select the item from the left side Colum.
Go and find out TANN item category and click on detail.
Check out Item Cat proposal. If it is empty then type your RENN condition type over here.
Now try to create the return sales order it might work.

We have a custom form developed based on Template.fmb, when we register in custom application top(XXLLP_TOP/forms/US folder), it is giving error "Function not avilable for this responsibilty. Change responsibility or contact sysadmin".
In AOL responsibility , all we did was
a) Registered custom form XXLLPINVPKWB for custom "LLP Custom Application",
b) Registered a custom Fuction for the form
c) Assigned the Function to the Inventory menu (INV_NAVIGATE)
d) Wwitch Resp to the Inventory resp
e) Click on the menu entry for our custom form and its giving and error that the Function is not available for this responsibility. Please contact system admininstrator
My understanding is that when I click the menu it should atleast
give an error that the fmx is not available in so and so path
in the status bar and not the error message "Function is not available ...
Please help us resolving this issues

do you want to go live with the full scope of Starter Service , or do you just needs part of it?
With the steps outlined in the blog everything is 100% supported (this is not a hack, but just another way to configure Starter Services).
However, not all the functionality of the Starter Services will work (e.g. like the Updating / Creation of a new contact). But if you do not need that you are perfectly fine.
I remember that with EhP4 you need to be on SP06 of ECC-SE. Maybe this is also the reason in your case why the service is not available.

After opening the site, please select the Source Release Version which is 4.6 b Then Select the Target Release Version which is "mySAP ERP 2005" or ECC 6.0
Select the Solution Area like Financials, Human Capital Management, Sales....
Select module like MM, PP, SD, QM.....
Click on Search
Then it displays the Release Version and the Delta Functionality. which can be downloaded to a word document if required.
and also check the release notes of ECC 6.0 in service.sap.com.

Automatic Batch Determination is not happening for New Sales Order Type
Dear Experts,
I have created a new sales order type ZBPY - For Free Sales, but automatic batch detrmination and batch pick up is not happening for new sales order type, but it is activated for all the other sales order types in Production Server, can any body let me know the steps how to map this new order type to batch management and let it behave like other order types.

Kindly check the following steps for automatic batch determination.
1. First check the material is maintained with batch in the warehouse management.
2. Maintain new entry for search procedure for batch determination with the new created doc type.
3. Maintain new entry for automatic batch determination for sales order or automatic batch determination for delivery ( This depends on the business process of our client, whether they want to determine the batch with sales order or at the delivery level. check this and make new entry)
4. Create Batch using T.code MSC1N with proper date of manuf. and SLED.
5. Create Batch Search Strategy using T.code VCH1 with proper strategy type.
6. Maintain stock with active batch. check this with t.code LS26 or LS24.

"Partner Delivery Point Not Found" in SUS Purchase Order
Working on SRM5.0, I have created Purchase Orders in SRM which have been transmitted to SUS via XI. The PO's appear in SUS, but when I try to process the PO as the vendor (in order to send a PO response / goods confirmation etc back to SRM), the following error message appears "Partner Delivery Point not found" and the process can go no further.
When looking at the partner functions that are maintained in the SUS
PO, I can see a Sold-to party and a Goods recipient that have both a
Business Partner Number and an Address. However, the Delivery Point
partner has no Business Partner number, but does have an Address.
I am fairly certain there is no problem with the SRM shopping cart / PO. One of the examples I have looked at is as follows:
Cart and PO have the following partners maintained:
Requester - 509
Goods Recipient - 509
Delivery Point - 491
Location - 511
Vendor - 100122
The XML message sent via XI for this cart / PO has the following partners (confusing use of naming!):
Buyer - 491
Seller - 100122
Product Recipient - 509
Bill-to - 491 (Although same BP number as delivery point above, address is not the same and does not appear to come from any of the BP's mentioned above!)
Ship-to - 511 (Although same BP number as location above, address is not the same and does not appear to come from any of the BP's mentioned above and is same address as the Bill-to)
The SUS PO (attached) has the following partners:
Sold-to - 491
Goods Recipient - 509
Delivery Point - (Blank BP Number but address appears to come from business partner 491 as it is the same as the sold-to address above)
My understanding of this 'mapping' between the 3 components is as follows:
In the SRM shopping cart / PO you need the partners Requester, Goods Recipient, Delivery Point, Location and Vendor.
In the SUS PO you need at least Sold-to party, Goods Recipient and Delivery Point.
When SRM generates the XML message for the PO (to go to SUS via XI), it maps the business partners from the SRM PO to business partners in the XML file.
When SUS receives the XML message from XI, it maps the business partners from the XML file to the appropriate place in the SUS PO
Looking at my example, it is not obvious how the partners map from SRM to XML message in XI to SUS and nowhere in the XML message is there an address maintained without a business partner number so it appears that the business partner number is being 'lost' by SUS as it creates the PO.
I have searched OSS extensively and found very few messages which seem relevant (744231 looked promising, but has already been applied according to our patch level).
Any pointers???

Purchase and release order not allowed for TECO work orders
Hi
We are typically setting maintenance work orders to TECO once the physical work as been performed as that sets the reference date for showing the history of when the maintenance was performed, and when the maintenance call was completed. However, we have invoices that may come in significantly later than when the physical work was performed.
Once the order is in TECO a purchase or release order (for services against a contract) cannot be created for the work order. Additionally it appears that even if we have a release order,or purchase order, if it is not for the exact amount of the invoice the release or purchase order cannot be ammended - we get the sameerror mssage (BS007) as when creating a new purchase order for the TECO order.
I had wondered about using BS22 to change TECO to continue to allow purchase and release orders when the order is in TECO status.
Any input on pros/cons or other approachs appreciated.

That was what I initially thought. However I was informed that if the invoice is not for the originally determined amount that to post the invoice means having to change the PO, and changing the PO appears to hit the same business transaction as creating a PO, and so we get the error mssage.
The issue is that we may know we need to have services estimated at, say, $5.000. But we do not know what the actual final invoice will be. So the actual amount may end up being $4,500 or $5,500 as an example, and it may come ni late from the vendor. The Purchse Order side is not my expertize, but I am being informed that the invoice must match the PO amount, otherwise the PO must be ammended to match. As the order is in TECO, the user cannot amend the PO.
I would be happy to know of other options, or at least good questions to ask. I want the end user to be able to post the invoice against the PO, after the order is in TECO, even it the invoice amount is not exactly the same as what was originally anticipated.

Billing Block removal not updated in the sales order change log
Hi Gurus,
A specific Billing Block is automatically assigned to the sales document header (VBAK-FAKSK) when the net value of the sales order is negative. This is an order related billing.
Sometimes the Billing block is getting released automatically and the Negative Invoice is getting created in the Background job run for creating the invoices. When we check the sales order, the Billing block is not existing and the removal of the billing block is not recorded in the Change Log of the sales order.In the CDHDR table also there are no details about the release of the billing block.
This is happening only occassionally. When I tried to replicate the issue, the system is not allowing me to create the invoice as long as the billing block is there in the sales order and if I remove the block, it is recorded in the sales order change log.
My doubt is.,
1. How the billing block is getting released automatically?
2. Even if the block is released, why it is not recorded in the Change Log of the sales order?

Recently I also came accross same problem . But finally I got the solution.
BAPI 'BAPI_PLANNEDORDER_CHANGE' does support AFS Data .. like Grid Value and Grid Quanity.
Just pass AFS Header Data to Import Parameter AFS_HEADER & AFS Grid Value along with changed quantity
to AFS_SKU table. You will get this data from PLAF and J_3ABSSI Table.
( Note : You also need to pass Planned Order Data & Quantity which will be total of all quantities at SKU level. )

ThanksThis explanation is not in detail and hence I am not clear about your configuration settings.
First go to IMG Logistics-General => Tax on Goods Movements => India => Business Transactions => Outgoing Excise Invoices => Assign Billing Types to Delivery Types.
There ensure that you have assigned the billing type JEX (assuming that you are using the standard) to your delivery type NL.
Perhaps, you can also try with "D" for your item category in Billing Relevance field but I am not sure this will solve your issue. Try in development client.

VF06 not working for drop ship orders
Hi All,
We use VF06 for creating billing docs. Interesting it works good for all order/delivery types but does not create any billing document for third party sales orders. I have flagged both - order related and delivery realted document indicators and leaving all the selection inputs blank except for the sales org. When we try to create the invoice for a drop ship order, it gets created but surprisingly does not get picked up in VF04 or VF06.
Any help would be appreciated.

I did go through some notes and could find out the problem. In copy controls we have set the billing quantity to F to enable billing even if GR is done for the PO and need nt have the Vendor Invoice Recipet to be done. SAP says in some notes that if this is set, then the billing due list will not have the order displayed even if it can be manually invoices. But I dont have any idea how to overcome this. SAP has provided standard reports but somehow these reports are not working for me.

ColdFusion did not adjust for Daylight Savings Time change
Both my 8 and 11 machines did not adjust for DST over the weekend. The computer times look ok, but CF times are still an hour behind. We've restarted the server, which did not fix the problem. Any suggestions?

What web server are you using? Built-in, Apache, IIS? Could there be a setting in there that might affect the DST difference?

These notes applies to those system with basis release between 46C to 46D and 610 to 640.
As you said system basis release is 7.0, I dont think these notes applies to your system as your system level is much ahead of the affected release.
