Outbound queue won't fetch data to inbound queue after DS enhancement

I enhanced the 2LIS_02_ITM extractor with a field from EKKN table, in CMOD filled this field. Transported all this to TEST and then to PROD systems. In DEV system everything is OK, but in TEST and PROD system my outbound delta queues are filling and not fetching the data to the inbound queues!!! When i launch the job in LBWE, it cancels itself. And when i see short dumps, it says something about modified structure. Any idea how can i fetch the data from one queue to another?

First you have to make sure that there are no enrteis in LBWQ,delta queue and det up table before you do the transports.
So anyway the process has to be repeated again.
So once the transports are done then you will have to do the whole set up again.
Do the follwing after transports.
1)Delete the set up tables
2)Do init w/o data transfer from the infopackage.
3)Fill the set up tables( You can schedule a job in the background to fill the whole 7000000 records at the same time)
4) Full repair loads to BW( Either you can do it in parts...like scheduling different loads at the same time through different infopackages for different selections OR one infopackage for the whole data).
The better is to do in parts as in case of whole data load fails then you will lose the whole data and you will have to repeat the process again.
You can schedule the set up table fill job as well as full repair infopackage schedule at the same time for different selections.
Suppose if set up table is filled with selection A and once job finished then schedule the infopackage with selection A meanwhile you can fill the set up table with selection B and so no.
This way you can make sure the jobs are not failing because of huge amount of data load at the same time the time taken to complete the process is less.
As such there is no limitation on amount of data..its the duration of process which is limitation...for very long running process chances are that you run out of background process or you miss some IDOC's.

We are using BI7.00 and in one of our design we have the data first loaded to the ODS and then to the Cube. Now we wanted to get the value of one more field. This field is already avaialable in the data source and data is flowing upto PSA. I have added that field in the ODS. My problem starts here. I want the data to flow for all the previous requests i.e., earlier requests in the ODS and the Cube (Prior to enhancement) without disturbing the data load.
Kindly provide the step by step instructions. I do not want the earlier data to be deleted. The current field value to be updated to the previous loads to the ODS and the Cube.

Hi,
Overwrite optrion is available in the update mode of key figures.
Its key figure which determines whether the DSO is in overwrite or addition mode.
Go to the mappings of each infoobject in the tranformation from the data source to DSO and check the mapping type of each key figure and then see if its overwrite or not??
To avoide reloading to the cube.....One of the option is to add the fields in both cubes and DSO and then activate the transformation and mappings,DTP ect.
After that load the data to the DSO and then schedule the delta from the DSO to the cube.Thi will bring all the chnages to the DSO in the cube.
But this delta may be a huge one and may fail depending upon the data in the DSO.
But you can try for this and if it is not working then you may have to delete the cube and reload it.

Check for the outbound queue Tx SMQ1 in R3, and inbound queue Tx SMQ2 in SRM and also the log Tx SLG1 in SRM.

Not sure what you want. But maybe this helps.

Mail to RFC -- Data Structed in Inbound Queue -- Help needed !

                       I am doing Mail to RFC Asyn Scenario . Mail mails are come into the mail box . XI is trying to read the mail and send to R3.
                        It was working fine suddenly , Many mails read succesfully and data send to RFC , But it is structed in   ( SMQ2 ) inbound Queue ( <b>Message Scheduled on Outbound side</b> )
              For long time it is showing like this . No data is accepted by RFC. I have checked the Adpater confi for rfc it is fine . I have given Max connection as 50 also .
          Please help me to solve this issue !

Have the Queues being registered in the R/3..?
If not....
1.Go to SXMB_ADM(R/3)
2. Go to Manage Queues and then
3. Register All Queues.

How Delta Queue fetches data in source system.

Hello Experts,
SMQ1 is physical storage of all transactions created in the source system. Delta Queue(RSA7) fetches data from SMQ1. In case of Queued and Unserilized V3 delta where LBWQ and SM13 come into picture. Can you please clarify my doubt.

Hi,
There is one option in SMQ1,SMQ2 to unlock the bulk queues...
Select the all queues -double click any one of them-click Edit in file menu-select Generic queue-unlock.
In this give extension with *.
Ex:
R3AD_MATERIADZM5-12ZM9 for this give R3* it will unlock all the queues starts with R3.

If your IDOC is getting generated from Billing document,the data in control records and data records should be fetched from billing document.You can get data from Sales Order as well.Check with your ABAPer.

Inbound queue in APO side

All R/3 changes are not transfered to APO. It got stuck in SMQ2 in APO side. every time i am manually activating those queues in ready status.
1) Is there any simple way to activate all the queues having status "ready" in single execution.
2) what will be the reason for inbound queue and how to avoid? i able to see only "ready" and "waiting" status queues there is no error

Please check the status of the QIN and QOUT scheduler in transaction SMQR/SMQS and see if the destination is registered or not. I am pasting the content of the SAP Help for you quick reference.

Inbound Queues in SRM 7.0

Hello Experts,
We have SRM 7.0 / Classic scenario with ECC as a backend system.
We observe in SMQ2, we have couple of queues. But I do not know if these have any releveance to us.
We maintain filters(R3AC1 and R3AC3) for Material master and Product Categories master for pulling in data from ECC
Is is advisableto de-activate these queues? What information is pulled with these Queues?

if delta load are customized to be received by SRM, there is a reason...
The queue prefix is defined in ECC table (CRMCONSUM): i guess, for you, queues are coming from ECC.
Queue name are linked to object name from an object class: see in ECC data stored by CRMSUBTAB table. A function module is linked to this object name to do the extraction; check those function modules to find which data is transferred.
Object name load type (Initial, Delte, Request) is managed by ECC table CRMRFCPAR.
Regarding the inbound queue, check OSS notes:

Regarding the outnound scheduler, check OSS note:

use se16 and table CRMCONSUM. This table also exists in R/3. There you can see an overview description for what queue prefixes are used. Prefixes should be maintained here.
smq1...inbound queue
smq2... outbound queue
Queues you want to be handled must be registered in SMQR.
for example queue starting with:
R3A* queues with R/3 as "partner" (R/3 Adapter)
R3AI*...Initial Load
R3AD*...Delta Load
R3AU*...Upload
R3AR*...Request

Objective:Fetch text message from queue and print it from java embedding in BPEL
I am fetching text message from a jms queue using JMS adapter in BPEL.Then converting the opaque data(Base64 binary)to string using java embedding.My build got successful but I am getting runtime error at the time of deployment.

Screen output without connection to user, Message struck at inbound queue

I executed inbound proxy form PI 7.0, the message was struck in the inbound queue of ECC 6.0,
with status text "Screen output without connection to user" then when I apply execute LUW then it is converted to
"ThiSend:bad tm type /connection closed (no data)".
when i test the same message from 'SPROXY' t.code, inbound proxy class was working fine.
I came to know that when we call an ABAP program in side a proxy then it will throw same error what I got by checking the below url

Here my doubt is calling the SUBMIT for other ABAP program is same as calling the BAPI call?

1. Plz check the user is having auth to run the executable program in ECC.
2. It seems that you are not using the proxy structures in a correct way..and check the calling program also..!!

BADI For Inbound Queue in CRM

I am replicating Product Listings (VB02 in ECC) data from ECC to CRM.
Now I need to Update a Z table in CRM System with the data coming from ECC when the Inbound Queue in CRM System is processed via SMQ2.
Can Anybody please tell me what BADI will be useful
I found one CRM_DATAEXCHG_BADI but not sure how it goes.
I also tried in Debuging the inbound Queue. It will take Long time to find out BTE or BADI in this way.
So please help me with the BADI or BTE Name.

I have 2 badis to use one is address_update and the other is addres_check.
I implemented address_check which had a address structure as a changing parameter and I update it there, it works absolutely fine.
But my requirement is to update the structure based on the condition of BUT000. That is the BUT000-type, which means I need to update the structure only for person and not for organization and group.
so in the badi address_check i need the BUT000 details, which I am not able to trace even from the local memory as I am getting the error saying "Memory is not yet instantiated"
and If i use the other badi address_update.
I have the problem the other way round here. I have all the BUT000 details here I can put the condition to update only for person, but I am not able to update the address structure.
Please help me. This is required very urgent.
