Outlook 2007 error The form region DPOfcX

Hi Guys,
When I open Outlook 2007 or open an e-mail I am getting the following error.
The form region “DPOfcX” cannot be opened.  The form region manifest specifies an add-in that is not installed.
I have check in the add-in there is no add-ins at all. I have check the exchange client extensions in there the add-in of nod32, exchange and SAP callender. in the disable add-in there is nothing.
When I start Outlook in safe mode the error don't show at all. What else I have done was to scan the computer with Spybot for malware. Nothing found. the computer is brand new got it on Saterday. When I search
the computer for the  DPOfcx do not get any results. I have check in system 32 files and syswow64
Any help I will be greatfull!
regards,
Gerrit

Hi Gerrit,
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\FormRegions. Delete the registration for your entry for the MessageClass you are handling.
Removing an addin that way does not unregister it or its dependencies. You should uninstall or remove from Add/Remove Programs or Programs and Features in the Control Panel, or by re-running the installer
and selecting to remove the addin.
If the form region registration is created as part of the installation it should be removed by uninstalling. If it is created later after installation, say by code, you need code such as an installer custom
action to unregister the form region.
Hope that helps.

  • Voice mail will open in Outlook 2010. The form region "UmOutllokAddinRA" cannot be opened.

I'm running Exchange Server 2007, Outlook 2010 and Lync 2010.
Unified Messaging is enabled. When a voice mail is left, the voice mail is delivered to my Inbox, but the message will not open. I get the error "The form region "UmOutllokAddinRA" cannot be opened. Outlook will use the default form instead."
If I have the Conversation History Add-in for Microsoft Lync 2010 enabled, I also get the error "The form region "IPM.Note.Microsoft.Missed.Voice.Region" cannot be opened. Outlook will use the default form instead." Disabling the
    add-in clears the error.
Uninstalling Lync did not help so I'm not sure if that is the issue or not. I've tried reinstalling Outlook and Lync to no success.
    Any thoughts?

I  am getting the same thing with Exchange Server 2010, Outlook 2010, and Lync 2010.
It appears to be a client side error.
Anyone have any ideas on this?

  • Outlook controls in custom form region created in Visual Stdio 2010

    Hi,
Is it possible to use all the outlook controls (e.g. Body control, Send button) in custom form region created in Visual studio.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Vijay

    Hi Vijay,
Which control you are not able to use? Based on my understanding, there are two ways to custom the form region in Outlook.
First is creating a new form region by using the wizard. The second is importing a form region designed in Outlook.
In the second secnario, we can use add native Outlook controls to the form region. Native Outlook controls enable you to bind to Outlook data at design time. However, you cannot then use the form region designer to add managed controls or change the design
    of the form region.
You can get more detail about this topic form link below:

  • Outlook 2007 client has former user's name.

I have Windows 2012 servers. One of which has Exchange server 2013. Most of my email clients have Outlook 2007, and some have Outlook 2013. On one of the Outlook 2007 clients, the previous user's name appears above Inbox in left panel. On a spare computer
with Outlook 2007, I logged in as the affected user and setup Outlook for her. Her name appeared above the inbox until I closed and restarted Outlook. Then, the same former user's name appeared. On the user's computer, I gave this affected user local admin
rights, but the Disable Offline files option was grayed out. The affected user's account name is all that's listed under Email accounts tab. Under Data there is an OST file with the former user's name. Someone told me that my predecessor renamed the former
user's AD account for the new (affected) user--rather than creating a new AD account for the user. I've read that Exchange gets information from each user's AD account. Is the next step to delete the affected user's AD account and create a new one for her?
If so, do I leave her Exchange account, her computer's Windows profile, and Outlook profile/setup alone while I'm doing this? It may seem a minor issue, but it's frustrating to this manager. Recipients do receive her emails with her name as the sender
    though.

    Hi,
Before we go further, I'd like to confirm if the affected user has two mailboxes and the meaning of former user.
And for the strange OST file issue, I recommend you try to delete all OST files and recreate the profile to have a test.
    Thanks,

  • Word 2007 and Outlook 2007 error 1605

    Hi,
I keep getting this error with Word 2007 and Outlook 2007:
Microsoft Office word can't open thesaurus. Windows Installer error 1605.
Please advise on how to fix this.

Thank you.  Thank you.  Thank you.  In all my searching for this problem, Yerger's was the only one that made much sense.  And it worked!  I no longer get an error when I open Outlook, and now I have my thesaurus back in Word!.
I suspect it will also fix the problem I was getting sometimes in Word that some kind of proofing tools were not available (although that was intermittent so I can't really tell for some time.)
Your solution was easy to follow and I like the explanation.  I am usually suspicious of making changes to the registry based on an unknown person's suggestions.  With this I could easily see that it was the relevant key.
For those not sure how to edit their registry:  From the Start Menu, select Run, and type in regedit
    Thanks!

  • Outlook 2013 error: The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable

    Environment: Windows 7 Enterprise
Setup: Fresh install of Office 2013
Issue: When I launch Outlook I get the error:
The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action.
    Steps to resolve:
I made sure my server name and mail address were correct but this did not have an impact.
I am at a total loss on how to resolve this issue, is there anyway to manually connect to M.E> as it is just saying the connection is unavailable.  All of the other threads dealing with this issue have been no help.  I can sign into my account
at login.microsoftonline.net so i know the account is valid.  I also receive email to my iPhone with the account and server.  Any advice would be wonderful.
Now when I start up the application it tells me the same error and brings up something to alter the server and connection address.

    Hi,
Have you tried to recreate a new mail profile and then test the issue?
To do this, please exit Outlook, and then go to
    Control Panel >Mail... > Add…
Details about create a new mail profile, see:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829918/en-us
Also, you can try with this KB:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2264398
    This issue occurs when the
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders registry key does not contain all of the required data. Specifically, these problems occur if the
AppData string value is missing from this registry key.
To resolve this issue, import the
User Shell Folders registry key from a working Windows User Profile.
    Hope this helps.

  • Outlook 2010 error - The file is corrupt and cannot be opened

    Hi experts
Im getting the error - "The file is corrupt and cannot be opened", when opening office attachments in outlook 2010.
I’ve tried disabling the protected view options in office which hasn’t fixed the issue, the only suggestion I have seen which I’m sure would work is to delete
the user profile and recreate. This seems a bit over kill to me, does anyone know what files I need to remove to fix the issue.

  • Is there an easy way to migrate from Outlook 2007 on the PC to Mac Mail?

Upgraded to a new Macbook Pro. I have a laptop with Office 2007 with Outlook 2007. What is the best way to migrate to the new Macbook Pro? Also, If I set up the cloud, will it sync with Mac Mail (Do I have to have an @ icloud.com email or can I use the email I registered with ICLOUD?)
    Thanks for your help.

Create the zone, and migrate like a physical server -- but take care with your storage. You'll either have to add the devices into the zone's configuration or loopback mount them into the zone.
    Either way works.

    Hi,
Please check the sent email in your Sent Items folder, how many attachments are displayed?
Double check if you have followed the steps below to forward the email, you need to do it in the right order:
    1. Open the email with the Excel attachment.
    2. Go to Other Actions -> Edit Message.
    3. Open that Attachment -> When it asks Would you like to open the file or save it to your computer, click
    Open.
    4. Edit the Excel file -> Click the Save button -> Close the file.
    5. Click Forward.
    6. Select the recipients, edit the email as you want. You can also check how many attachments are displayed in the message.
    7. Click Send.
If the problem persists after you follow my steps, try disabling all add-ins to check the result.
If you didn't do it as I described, you can let me know your process.

  • HT1296 My contacts are synching with Outlook 2007. The synch appears to complete but does not actually update the contact data.

I am having trouble with synching contacts between Outlook 2007 and iPhone5s via iTunes. The synch appears to work but data is not actually updating in either place.

The information I received gave me the courage to proceed with download to allow my handheld to sync with my new Outlook 2007 running on my laptop.  It worked and I still seem to be able to sync with my Outlook 2002 version on my desktop system.
Next problem is that I have some reurring appointments on my calendar that will NOT delete.  I have tried all methods I can find and nothing works.  Even if I get to the point where it asks if I want to open "this occurrence or open the series" (then save and delete), the darned things seem to be lurking in the future.  I have tried changing the end date or the recurrence schedule and it acts like I have entered them day by day and I can't successfully change the entire series.  Any ideas?
Thanks so much for the help with the previous issue.  You took a worry off my shoulders.

  • Coding the controls in form region in Outlook 2007

We are using Outlook 2007. There is a need of adding a drop down control for field "Subject" in the appointment form. I can use a form region for that. Is it true that VB code cannot be used for the form region (in Sue Mosher's book, "Outlook
2007 programming)? Are there any other options? We also use Visual Studio 2008.
    Thank you!
    Marilyn

    Hi Eugene,
I've already created a form region, via form designer in Outlook. And a combobox is bound to Subject field in the default form. But I need to dynamically populate the list in the combobox, according to a folder under which an apportment would be
made. Which means that I need to reference the form region and its controls in a code where I could assign combobox's data source to a table's field. I read some articles on VSTO. Just wanted to make sure there are no better/easier ways than using
    VSTO.
Thanks so much for your help!

  • Outlook Sync Error SOLVED - Multi-day repeating appointment cannot be converted for use on the Handheld...

*UPDATE 1/23/2009 07:08 AM* This is a partial fix. I no longer think the Recurrence Range is the culprit. It seems the Time Zones features between Outlook & Palm are not cooperating. This explains why my 12 am events are syncing as 6 pm the day before; I live in GMT-6:00 so it's moving my events ahead by 6 hours. Another event I set for 1 pm in Outlook was changed to 7 am on my Treo. I am going to start over and recreate each event, this time setting the Time Zones, which I hadn't done before. I tested it out and it worked with a single event... let's see how long it lasts. I've also found that using 'No Time' on my Treo is not compatible with Outlook. It's better to set a time with 0 minutes duration.
*UPDATE 1/23/2009 04:11 AM* This is a partial fix. My monthly and yearly problematic recurring events are now showing up at 6 pm the day before on my Treo, though my Outlook calendar is fine. I think this has to do with the Recurrence Range Start/End in Outlook, which is set automatically. If only there were a way to change this...
After a WHOLE LOTTA trial-and-error (like 3 days worth), I think I finally solved my OLERR:14-001 issue!
Problem: Syncing Palm Treo 755p calendar with Outlook 2007
    Error Message (simplified):
HotSync session completed with messages on [date] [time]
HotSync session started on [date] [time], and completed in [0] seconds
Outlook Calendar synchronization completed with messages
    Duration: [0] seconds
    Outlook Calendar
The multi-day repeating appointment titled [event] beginning [date] [time] cannot be converted for use on the Handheld. Please divide the appointment up into single-days and re-synchronize.
     OLERR:14-0001
    - Desktop overwrite HH Sync
Note: You will likely have several of these ‘Multi-day’ instances in your hotsync log (I had 58). You may want to change Calendar in hotsync to "Desktop overwrites Handheld" after you get this error, to avoid erasing events while you are fixing this issue. Otherwise, you may have to restore them from a backup copy (if you have one) and start over. You can switch back once you’re through.
Solution: First, I tried this Palm KB Article: http://kb.palm.com/SRVS/NUA/launchKB.asp?c=31167. After this didn’t work for me… I did trial-and-error. I believe the problem is that each recurring event, which you set up as ‘All-day’, must be changed to have a duration of 0 minutes from within Outlook. I was able to change some events directly, but I found that some of the records had corrupted, and would just revert. My fool-proof solution was to recreate EVERY problematic event (yes, one-by-one) using the following steps:
    Open Outlook
Go to your default calendar, where your events are synced
In the top menu choose ‘View’ > ‘Current View’ > ‘Recurring Appointments’
    Open a ‘New Appointment’
Enter subject and other options, such as Categorize, Importance, Time Zones, or Reminder
Make sure starting and ending date & time are the EXACT same
Select ‘Recurrence’ & choose your pattern
I did not choose ‘No end date’ (hence the Palm article), but rather ‘End by:’ and typed in 2031, then pressed tab to auto-generate a suitable end date. I chose 2031 because that is last year my Treo’s calendar goes to. Click OK
Repeat for every event in your error log, until you get a clean "Desktop overwrites Handheld" hotsync (Outlook should be closed when you sync)
Switch Calendar in hotsync back to "Synchronize"
Even though I still get the message OLERR14:001, my syncs are successful. Now I will give my Treo time to see if the issue returns later. Until then, happy Outlook syncing and good luck!

  • Vista & Outlook 2007: Sync with second XP & Outlook 2003 - The passed buffer is too small for the reply data

    Dear Community,
I'm synchronising my T3 with two PCs. One with Vista & Outlook 2007 and the other with XP & Outlook 2003. Both with the latest conduit & Hotsync Manager versions installed for each OS based on the availability on the Palm Website.
My problem is that when I synchronise the T3 with either PC and then try to sync it with the other I'm receiving the following error message for the Calendar:
    Outlook Calendar
The passed buffer is too small for the reply data.
    OLERR:0D-0008
    OLERR:0D-0004
    OLERR:0D-0001
    - Slow Sync
    Outlook Calendar synchronization failed
The second time the sync is successful but takes a long time and the actual problem is that it creates duplicates for records previously changed on either PC - but with a sync in between those changes, i.e. no conflict in the sense that the same record was changed in both environments since the last sync. I have configured the conflict handling to establish a hierarchy PC1-T3-PC2 but try to avoid them by synchronising as often as possible.
Has anyone come across that problem or any ideas? Can you somehow adjust the buffer size for the sync? I have been using Lotus Organiser & then the various Outlook versions for a number of years.
    Thank you

As they say on TV, "Doh"!!!
I figured out the problem. I started the Sync tool, selected "Settings", then "Mcrosoft Outlook" tab and then "Select Folders" button. I browsed to the proper folders in Outlook (Calendar, Tasks, etc). Select OK enough times and retried the sync.
    It worked.
