Outlook 2007 instead search does not show the items which are actually present in the inbox and folders

Scenario:
when user search for any particular email item by using the sender name or subject name it does not show any result. At the same time it works fine when he specify the search folder(target folder) instead of searching it across all the folders/sub-folders.
1. We tried reconfiguring the outlook profile but this not fixed the issue.
2. It is specific to only few users but so far for all the others users it works fine.
3. Restarted the “Microsoft Exchange Indexer Service” but this is also not fixed the issue.
4. Hence the outlook reconfigure not worked, rebuild the search index not tried yet, but will give a try.

Did the user select All Mail Items scope when searching in Outlook?
In addition, please make sure the user is not searching in a shared mailbox because in some configurations, you are limited to using the
Current Folder search scope when searching in a shared mailbox.
Please also let me know the result if you have tried rebuilding index.

Outlook 2007 "To Do" bar not showing iCloud Calendar events:

It may be that Apple did not program into the iCloud software that piggybacks to Outlook 2007 the "To Do/Appointments" bar that shows all your iCloud calendar events on the right side of Outlook. It took hours with Apple to get all devices to sync with Outlook but it now syncs, finally.....just can't figure out a way to see the "To Do/Appointment" bar on the screen right side when the calendar is up. Anyone figure out if that feature still functions or if that is disabled when the iCloud piggyback software is installed with Outlook 2007?

i just want share my ideas.
option a: please check your conduit if it automatically goes to do nothing. if that is the case, check if you have an EAS account on your versamail.
option b: try creating a new calendar data on outlook then syncronize your phone. if the new data will transfer, it means that the rest of your calaendar data are corrupted.
option c:try to check also that if your calendar data on outlook are on the default calendar folder and not on a subfolder.
please feel free to reply if what happens after you perform them.

Outlook 2007 (on vista) will not show when trying to synchronize in v4.3

I've installed DM v4.3 on vista and and want to synch with MS Outlook (2007). However, in the synch configuration (calender, contacts, etc.) my options are:
<none>
<Yahoo>
<ASCII Importer/Exporter>
Where is Outlook?? Does anyone know why it's not showing up? I'm not using an enterprise server. I have seen this work on the same set-up so I know it's not a compatibility issue. Any help would be greatfully appreciated!!

Do you mean a NIkon CP 5000 (Coolpix 5000)? Aperture supports many raw formats, but not all, because the raw support has to be camera specific. Not all NEF files are in the same format - all Nikon cameras will call their raw files NEF.
For some cameras Aperture never included raw support. The currently supported cameras are listed here:
http://www.apple.com/aperture/specs/raw.html
It looks like your camera is not on this list, so if you want to shoot raw with that camera, develope the raw files using a different raw converter (Adobe's dng converter or the suftware that came with your camera) and import tiff or dng files to Aperture.

In other words
I tell a friend if he is emailing me on a particular subject, is there something he can do at his end ([email protected]/research)
like adding the word research at the end of my eamil address that would tell my inbox to place that in the inbox/research folder?
If I have to use a rule on my end, then do I tell him to just place the word research in the subjct line and then I write a rule to place anything with the word research in the subject line in my inbox/research folder?
will the subject line be required to only have the one word research to work, or will the rule look for any presense of that word in the subject line?

iCloud email supports 'plus' addressing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Email_address#Address_tags
So your friend could just add '+research' to the username part of your email address, and you setup a rule at icloud.com to put all emails sent to that address into a particular folder.
For example:
[email protected]
There's no way to do it without rules on the server though.

This is a user supported frum, so making threats really doesn't help, besides which it's not like any of us can really make a dent in Toshiba's bottom line despite how many people we think we can influence. Unless those people were standing in line to buy a Toshiba product cash in hand, and you pulled them out, it really doesn't add up for them.
At this point it would probably be better for you to use the 800 number. Have all your e-mails ready to forward, if needed, to whoever you end up talking to. Don;t let them off the hook. An hour on the phone is much better than weeks passing e-mails through a support site. Also contest the charge with your bank or credit card.

Outlook 2007 delete button does not work

I can't delete items in my Outlook 2007 inbox or calendar by using the "Delete" button. I can delete items bij using the mouse. The delete button does work when using Word or other applications. Who helps me out? Thanks a lot.

This issue may be related to importing from IMAP PSTs. The solution was to use mfcmapi to change the PR_CONTAINER_CLASS on the Inbox.

Norton is probably the issue. It can really screw things up, that is one reason I never use it. See if you can temporarily disable it and then try the sync and see if that works.

Email shows "No entries in this view" because the Inbox folder is not selected by default

When I go to the Hub and select my corporate email account, the page that opens up shows the top level folder for email instead of my inbox, so all I see is "No entries in this view."
To access my inbox, I need to click on the account at the top of the screen and select my inbox from the list of folders (Inbox, Sent Items, etc). This happens every time I access the Hub. Very frustrating!

Sorry to hear you're having an issue with your email on your BlackBerry 10 device.
Are you using the BlackBerry Z10? If so, go to Settings>Accounts>Category OS and let me know what your software version is.
Do you have more than one email account added? If so, when you go to another email account does this same issue happen with the Inbox not showing?
When you go to filter your corporate email only, what's the name of the folder that shows (since it isn't your Inbox)? Is you work account using ActiveSync or IMAP?

On My Mac? Folder/ Mailboxes not showing up

I am trying to create "folders" to move emails from my inbox to individual "folders". I created smart mail boxes but if I delete the email out of the regular inbox then it deletes it out of the smart box.
I then tried move and email to ON MY MAC and creating a title. The help says that all ON MY Mac boxes displays on the left hand tool bar. ON My MAC is there but it is greyed out and the two boxes I created do not show. In fact I can not find those boxes unless I select Move to or Copy to.
There are certain emails that I need to keep but don't want them cluttering up my inbox. I thought the smartbox would work as that it would automatically directed my emails to the appropriate box. But it shows in both. What am I doing wrong or does mail not do this, do I need to use outlook thru my paralells.
Please Help. I found the mail help useless. ( Oh and I in no way can create Smart mail box folder--it is continually greyed out no matter what I try)

You can't do what you want to do with Smart Mailboxes. What you need to do is go to "Mail - Preferences - Rules" and then set up regular mailboxes that have rules attached (like "send to FACEBOOK mailbox" if sender has the word "facebook" in it or whatever you want); that will send various types of mail to mailboxes (they are more like folders) and you'll never see them in your inbox, but you will get a count of new messages in each mailbox.

Using Exchange 2010 and Outlook 2007 client. User has access to a shared Calendar in Public Folder. She makes an Recurrence Appt in Public Folder and invites herself to Appt. If she changes one of the future apt (Location change or something like that) it
updates the Public Folder but not hers. I added myself to this apt and I am using Outlook 2013 and my apt does indeed update. I also can see in "Outlook Web Access" has updated, so just the Outlook 2007 client not updated.
Any thought into why? Unable to Upgrade to user to Outlook 2013 until New year for other reasons.

Please first make sure she has installed all available updates for Outlook 2007.
In addition, please have the user temporarily turn off his antivirus and test again.
If still no luck, we may try testing with a new Outlook profile. See:

Outlook 2007 inbox messages display

We have a user when she receives an outlook messages from time to time in her inbox, the sender/recipient name, subject line has a white line where you cannot read any of this information. If you double click on it, it then display the information as it
should be displayed. If she logs into OWA the message is displayed fine.
-We uninstalled and reinstalled outlook 2007
-Recreated user mail profile
-updated video driver information
I am not sure what else to ry. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Do you mean the From/To field and subject field not display properly in the Reading Pane on the left side of your Outlook Window?
First, please make sure your Outlook 2007 has installed the latest updates.
If problem persists, we can try to find the .ost file and rename it to .old and start Outlook to check the result.
We can also try to run Outlook with /cleanviews switch. To do this, press Windows key + R, type
outlook.exe /cleanviews in the Run command and press Enter.
Please let me know the result.

Outlook 2013 Converstation preview does not show my last reply.

When I reply to a message from my Inbox, I don't get to see my message unless I go to sent items and check what I just sent there. Is there a way to make it appear at the Conversation preview in my Inbox? I know that it is possible since I've seen it on
other outlooks.
Using Kerio-connect email account and e-mail server is using Kerio also.
Windows-7 64 bit OS and Outlook is 2013 version.

Hi Aleksey,
Please restart Outlook by using /cleanviews switch to restore the default folder view:
Click Start > Run > type Outlook /cleanviews then enter.
Then follow the steps below to set Conversation view in Inbox folder:
Click Inbox folder, then click View and check the Show as Conversations. In the prompted window, select This folder.
Then check whether the issue persists. If the issue continues, please start Outlook in safe mode to have a try.
