Outlook Follow Up Flag Status

Hi,
Is there any way to track or find out the flag status details?
e.g. email flags time, when enable for flag?
Our user encounter email flag for follow up itself.
Is that any possibility on corrupted?

Hi,
Sorry for the delay. I haven't found a way to check when a message is flagged for follow up.
However, there are some reasons that messages get flagged itself.
Please first make sure the user didn't create any rule to flag emails automatically.
In addition, the sender can also flag emails for the recipient. When the message is flagged by the sender, it will display an  icon after the email (in Outlook 2013).
If you installed any third-party add-in which may affect Outlook behavior, please disable it to check if the problem still persists.

Problem: In a shared mailbox, when the user clicks the flag icon next to an email, the icon does not change.  In the preview pane, you can see the follow up status change each time you click.
Problem occurs when user tries to set a follow up flag on a shared mailbox
Problem does not occur for other users accessing the same shared mailbox
Problem does not occur in the users own mailbox
Problem ONLY occurs in this specific mailbox, user has other mailboxes that work as expected
If the user restarts outlook, the icon will display correctly, however if the user clicks on it again, it does not change.
    What I've already tried:
    Creating a new Outlook profile
Removing the mailbox from the users Outlook, then adding it back
    Opening Outlook in Safe Mode
    Disabled Offline Use
    Disabled Cached Mode
Verified "Download Shared Folders" is disabled
Logged user onto a new computer with a new profile

    Hi,
Since only one user is affected, please have the user run Outlook in safe mode to determine if it's 3rd party add-ins related:
Press Win + R and type “outlook.exe /safe” in the blank box, then press Enter.
If there’s no problem in Safe Mode, disable the suspicious add-ins to verify which add-ins caused this issue.
If the problem persists, we can also disable the local cache of the shared folders to check the result:
Go to File tab -> Account Settings -> Account Settings -> Double click on the account -> More Settings -> Advanced tab -> Uncheck "Download shared folders" -> OK.
    I hope this can help.

  • Setting "Follow Up" flag in email thru utl_smtp

    Hi,
Can anybody tell me, how can I set up "Follow up" flag with date in mail using utl_smtp.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Unless my recollection of RFC822, the "Follow Up" flag is not part of the SMTP protocol. So you'd have to ask the vendor of whatever front-end application your email recipients use how that particular application wants the follow up flag specified and whether the vendor extended the SMTP protocol to allow that.

  • Can't follow the Repair Status of my computer.

    Hej,
Recently, i had a hardware problem with my computer, so i called the support center.
He took my informations (and he make mistakes ... ) and send me a guy to take my computer.
I packed my computer and the guy took it with him (PostNord company).
He just gave me a paper with : Name, Reference, Date and Parcel ID. But it think its related to the shipment company and not Lenovo.
Also on the phone, he told me to write a number, which is the same as the Reference (that i mentionned earlier).
The Shipment is well arrived in Germany, but since ... no news !
I have no warranty case and i saw on the shipment company that he mades a mistake on my email adress !!!!
So i have no news on my phone, they can't join me by email .... GREAT !
My computer is gone the 20/02/2015, arrived in Germany the 24/02/2015.
That all that i know. and i can't follow the repair status on the website because he didn't provide me any Case ID.
    (ex : 800xxxxxxx).
Can someone from the support help me ! change the adress or do something... I worry that my computer could be definitely lost ...
Even if they delivers it to the nearest postoffice to my place, i wouldn't be aware of it, and i couldn't take it because i have no number ...
The Service Number is : 704281781. But i really don't know how and where i could use it.

  • Autodiscover and Outlook Anywhere return http status 401

Hi, I'm having issues with Autodiscovery (externally) and Outlook Anywhere for some users on our Exchange 2010 (SP3, RU2) setup. Just for information, we have Exchange servers at two AD sites (same forest / domain) with each site having 2 combined client
access / hub transport servers and 3 mailbox servers (with 2 stretched DAG's across both sites). Site A is internet facing, but site B isn't.
    Autodiscovery
Internally, it's working fine (using the Test E-mail AutoConfiguration option within Outlook 2010). But externally (using the Microsoft TestConnectivity site), autodiscovery fails, returning the following:
Attempting to send an Autodiscover POST request to potential Autodiscover URLs.
Autodiscover settings weren't obtained when the Autodiscover POST request was sent.

The Microsoft Connectivity Analyzer is attempting to retrieve an XML Autodiscover response from URL   https://autodiscover.company.com/AutoDiscover/AutoDiscover.xml
    for user [email protected].
The Microsoft Connectivity Analyzer failed to obtain an Autodiscover XML response.
      +Additional Details
An HTTP 401 Unauthorized response was received from the remote Unknown server. This is usually the result of an incorrect username or password. If you    are attempting to log onto an Office 365 service, ensure you are using your
    full User Principal Name (UPN).

      Content-Type: text/html
      Server: Microsoft-IIS/7.5
      WWW-Authenticate: Negotiate,NTLM,Basic realm="autodiscover.company.com"
The odd thing is, if I browse to the autodiscover file location (externally), then I'm prompted for credentials. When I enter the same credentials that I input into the Microsoft connectivity analyser, I do actually get the correct https status 600 response.
Also, within EMS, when I run "Test-OutlookWebServices" on Client Access servers in site B, I see the following results...

However - I can't see where Exchange has pulled the "...domain.local" address from for Autodiscovery. Both Get-AutodiscoveryVirtualDirectory and Get-ClientAccessServer both report the correct URLs/URIs with the FQDN of Company.Com (which are on
the GoDaddy certificate we use both internally and externally).
    Outlook Anywhere
Whether my issues with Outlook Anywhere are related to Autodiscover, I'm not sure. Users who's mailbox is located at Site A (internet facing) are fine, and Outlook Anywhere works great. But users who's mailbox is at Site B, can't use Outlook Anywhere (Starting
Outlook in RPCDiag mode shows that it tries to connect, and sometimes establishes a connection for a couple of seconds, then disconnects completely).
Running "Test-OutlookConnectivity -Protocol:http" on a Client Access server at Site B, passes all but the last scenario (Mailbox::Logon), which throws up the following error:

Testing Outlook Anywhere using Microsoft RCA throws up the error:

    Thanks
    Tony

    Hi Guys,
My first chance today to respond!
Firstly - thanks for all the information. I really appreciate it.
Well, the good news is that Outlook Anywhere is now working at Site B. It looks like a combination of disabling Outlook Anywhere at Site B (thanks
Jon), and then being patient and allowing replication to do its stuff (thanks Rhoderck).
However RCA is still showing ‘Failed’ with the following error. If it helps to have the full output, please let me know. Just for info, I chose
the option to test using autodiscovery (rather than manually enter it), which passed fine.
Attempting to ping RPC proxy webmail.company.com.
    RPC Proxy can't be pinged.

    RPCProxy - ValidPorts
Thanks for the 'SoundTrackOfMyLife' link... that looks to be almost identical to my scenario (with the exception of the Kemp LoadMasters). Following
through the troubleshooting, my CAS servers at Site A (Internet Facing) are showing the registry key 'ValidPorts' as...
    SiteB-ExchCasSvr01:593;SiteB-ExchCasSvr01:49152-65535
    So - should this be...
    SiteB-ExchMbxSvr01:6001-6002;SiteB-ExchMbxSvr01:6004;SiteB-ExchMbxSvr01.domain.local:6001-6002;SiteB-ExchMbxSvr01.domain.local:6004;
i.e. I only add ports 6001,6002 and 6004 for mailbox servers only? If so, which sites mailbox servers should I put in here?
    SSL Off Loading
We've only really implemented SSL Offloading on the advice from Kemp (it's built in to their Exchange 2010 template). Apparently, the advantage
is the LoadMasters have a dedicated hardware processor for decryption/encryption of SSL traffic, thus taking the load off the Exchange servers. Exactly how much of a load this would normally be for our Exchange servers is unknown. We've followed Kemp's documentation
on unchecking 'Require SSL' for the IIS directories on Site A, and also configured Outlook Anywhere with SSL Offloading through the EMC. This was required as the Kemp's are not re-encrypting traffic to the CAS servers (which are on the same site / LAN
segment), and we're not a bank... so don't need encryption between the LoadMasters and the client access servers.
However, Site B (non internet facing) has 'Require SSL' enabled on IIS directories, since (I guess) traffic is encrypted when performing CAS-CAS
    proxying?
I am, as ever, open to suggestions on this design... since our original design was to use TMG for reverse proxy. It was only the end-of-life issue
with TMG, and the fact that we opted for the Kemp LoadMasters (which offered ESP as a replacement to TMG) that swung us down this path.
ESP and SSO are implements on the LoadMaster at Site A (internet facing), which is (was!) not the problem site.
Thanks again for your time and assistance guys. We’re almost there!

  • Mass change on production order (assembly type) to put deletion flag status

    Dear all,
I've make a mass change on production orders to settle the status DLFL through the Tcode CO78.
Some of the production orders  are "assembly order" type. Those could not be up-dated with the DLFL because there are linked to customer order. The customers orders are closed.
What can I do to change the status for this kind of production orders. It is necessary for me to be able to put the DLFL status in order to improve the process of production closure done each month.

    Hi kiran
Thanks for the response. As I cannot put deletion indicator on the Assembly order directly, Do we have to put deletion indicator on the sales order item?. If so, Can we put a deletion indicator after the sales order was delivered and invoiced. What exactly have you guys done to put deletion flag on the production order.

  • SC Item in Transfer process active - follow on document status not updated

    Hi Gurus,
Follow on document is not updated in SRM after PO creation. Ours is classic scenario (SRM 5.5, ECC6.0) and passed thru the following steps - SC (FFT) created, document approved, sent to SoCo, purchaser assigned vendor and created PO, PO created in ECC.
In SRM SoCo screen displays message 'PO created 45xxxxxxxxxx'  successfully. Checked the BE PO 45xxxxxxx that was created successfully.
Ran BBP_GET_STATUS_2 and CLEAN_REQREQ_UP jobs. jobs finished successfully. But status is not updated in SRM. RZ20/SLG1 does not have any errors.
    BBP_PD shows following statuses:
         I105   Awaiting Approval         X
         I1021 Created
         I1038  Complete
         I1106  SC ordered
         I1129  Approved
         I1111 Item in Transfer process
The last status I1111 is still active.
Any advise are welcome. Not sure if I am missing any OSS Notes.
    Regards
    Viktor Paul

    Hi,
    1. Check in table BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB if the entry exists use CLEAN_REQREQ_UP program.
    2. If entry in the table not exists then check in transaction BBP_PD if the follow on document ( PO ) Number reserved for
the SC .. then use FM  BBP_PD_SC_RESUBMIT.
    3. none of these use normal process  execute BBP_REQREQ_TRANSFER And then use CLEAN_REQREQ_UP

  • Item in Transfer Process  - Follow on documents status not displayed

    Hello experts,
User created a shopping cart of 12 line items (out of that no 3rd is deleted) and PO is created in backend r/3 system.
Now when i see the status of my last item ie 12th line item is "Item in Transfer Process". and for 3rd item which is deleted for that also Status shown PO NO (I1113)  i can see that PO no is there when i check follow on document.Problem is i want to change the status of 12th line item with its respective PO no .
Activity done by me to solve
If i manually update the status in the table CRM_JEST then the status will get changed but the follow on document is not displayed evenafter  run reports like CLEAN_REQREQ_UP and Get status2. i am trying to run a report BBP_ALERT_SB_NOTTRANSFERED but it got cancelled. even i tried to run a function module BBP_PD_SC_RESUBMIT but short dump will come. i have implemeted a suggested SAP note 729967 but still problem persist.
In BBP_PD and in table BBP_PDBEI field ( BE_OBJECT_ID ) in this field Ponumber is there against that line item.
    Thanks
    Sunny Sharma

    Hi Sunny,
the manual action taken on the transfer is dangerous and can cause even more inconsistency.
Hence you may have changed some tables of the SC manually, I would suggest rather to delete SC items, and create a new SC for them.

  • Linking opportunity status to follow-up quotation status

    Hello,
I have a project requirement where I need the status of the opportunity set automatically based on the status of the quotation which was created as a follow-up to the opportunity. e.g.If the status of the quotation is set as 'Completed', then the status of the preceding transaction i.e. opportunity should automatically be set as 'Won'. Can this be achieved by an action profile or would BAdI implementation be needed? Please provide a solution for this. Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Aditya Mishra

You can use both aproaches. If you will use badi then you can use CRM_ORDER_STATUS and method AFTER_CHANGE. In both cases you will have to code to read preceeding linked opportunity and change status of it with function CRM_STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN or similar.

  • Using EWS in Outlook impacts Lync 2010 Status

A .net application that fetches the calendar information from Exchange server through EWS seems to impact the availabilty status on Lync. Is there any alternative approach to do this? or what changes should be done to prevent this issue.

    Hello Arun,
It is not clear what code you use to get the job done. As a workaround you may consider automating Outlook on the end user PC, but on the server-side from any unattended application such as ASP.NET. See
C# app automates Outlook (CSAutomateOutlook) .
Anyway, the current forum is for Outlook specific questions. That's why I'd recommend asking EWS related questions on the
    Exchange Server Development  forum instead.
