Outlook mail with signature

I have Outlook 2007 and when I make a new mail automatically the signature appears.
Using mail option from Acrobat Reader I have a new Outlook mail but without signature.
Can I have it?
Thanks

Hi,
I need to confirm one thing first, did you add Mailbox B as an additional Mailbox, or a second Account in E-mail list?

Using Firefox with Outlook mail. Spell checker misses many obvious typos and misspellings. After correcting an error or two with spell checker underlining of remaining uncorrected errors disappears.
Spell checker works properly when using Windows with Outlook mail.

I'm not using the MS mail service very much these days as there have been too often issues in Firefox that took too long to get fixed by MS, so I hadn't noticed these issues, but with checking it out I can see the same happen if there are multiple errors marked.

  • Can't send mail with Signatures or Attachments

Since installing the Update 10.4.6, I have been unable to send email to my pop account which has either a signature or an attachment. I have cleared the caches using tiger cache cleaner (the reboot took forever and I had to cancel and restart so I'm not sure it worked). I have tried adding a new user. It doesn't work in Entourage either. I've read I need to reinstall mail - can you tell me how to do that? What else do you recommend?
Prior to installing the update, mail worked great for over a year!
    Powerbook G4 -12"   Mac OS X (10.4.6)

The plot is getting thicker here. Mail will send mail without attachments, but as soon as i add an attachment, it will not send.
I have the same problem with Thunderbird, which i just installed. All my accounts are IMAP, aol or bought domain name email addresses.
ie email address ****@aol.com & *****@p****y.com, with standard smtp addresses. ie smtp.aol.com or smtp.p***y.com.
I set up mail on another mac in the house and it works fine. (thankfully these are imap accts which transfer easily). I cannot even attach in a web browser.
I have repaired permissions, updated all software, safe booted, tried another persons Imap acct, (still no success) and even tried the terminal fix.
My next step is to format and reinstall but not looking forward to that.
I became very concerned when i couldn't nail it by installing thunderbird.
The only change that has happened recently is that i have switched from ADSL to ADSL2+, still running airport although same problem occurs when hardwired directly to the modem. The problem solely lies in this computer (it is a black macbook).
I am absolutely baffled. Even connection doctor says all is well.
    Any thoughts?

  • Problem in Mail with signatures

    Has anyone experienced this?
I'm running Leopard and using two different user identities("A" and "B" on my macbook.
In one identity "A", I use signatures in Mail for two different email accounts. Sometimes I log out of identity "A" and use Mail in identity "B" with a third email address. After I send an e-mail in identity "B" and log back into identity "A" the signatures that were assigned to one of my email accounts are no longer assigned to the account. They are still there, but I have to reassign them to the account by logging back in to Mail preferences.
    Any input would be great.

If you have them on your hard drive, don't just disable, but delete the fonts Helvetica Fractions and Times Phonetic.
It's also likely some of the fonts you added are either damaged or conflict with other system fonts. Remove all fonts you installed and note the result. Add them back 5 to 10 at a time and see if the problem reappears. If it does, you'll know at least one of the fonts you put back is bad.

    Hi Gary,
I have seen this issue occur with users who have this registry setting missing or have improper permissions.
When you double click the attachment to launch the pdf it is saved and opened from the temporary folder unless saved specifically to a location.
If you dont have the below mentioned registry key or improper permissions then attachments fail to open.
Please  heck if the following reg key exists:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\Security
    or
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\Security
    Value Name: OutlookSecureTempFolder
If the value exists, and if the value contains a valid path, Outlook 2010 uses that location for its temporary files.
If the registry value does not exist, or if the value points to an invalid location, Outlook 2010, Outlook 2007, or Outlook 2003 creates a new subdirectory under the Temporary Internet Files directory and then puts the temporary file in the new subdirectory. The name of the new subdirectory is unknown and is randomly generated, depending on your version of Outlook.
    Please check the following key:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\Security
Note the location for: OutlookSecureTempFolder key
Check if the same folder exists in the following location and if not create a corresponding folder in the location on C:\Users\<User account name>\Appdata\Local\Software\Microsoft\Windows\......

  • Why does an email sent from an iPad or iPhone to ms outlook appear with attachments? Example signatures tend to be broken down into a series of unwanted attachments!

Why does an email sent from an iPad or iPhone to ms outlook appear with attachments? Example: signatures at the bottom of the mail tend to be broken down into a series of unwanted attachments!

It worked for me. I took a picture with the iPhone's camera. Then opened the Photos app and selected the picture, and emailed it from one of my IMAP accounts to my gmail (also IMAP) account. When it showed up in the gmail inbox (on my iPhone), I forwarded it to my yahoo mail account (choosing the "inlcude attachments" option). When that showed up on my iPhone's yahoo inbox, the picture was there just as it should be.
So I guess the next thing would be to try it with non-iPhone pictures to see if it is a problem with image size or something. I have some 6-megapixel images in iPhoto I can try (taken as RAW/DEC format pictures with my dSLR).
Just tried it sending a Photo from my computer's iPhoto library - picture is 728KB, 2272x1704 jpeg. I emailed it to my gmail account, and it showed up on the iPhone just fine. Then I forwarded that to my yahoo account and again, it showed up just fine on both the iPhone and reading my yahoo mail via the web page.
Don't know what to say - I don't mean this to be just another "works for me" post. I was hoping to see something maybe depending on the size and origin of the picture.
By the way, my 3GS shipped with 3.0.1 on it, and I've updated it via iTunes normally to 3.1.1 and currently 3.1.2. Sorry I don't have anything constructive to add.

  • Mac Mail with a logo signature

I don't think this is possible even with the latstes release of Mavericks, any body out there with a suggestion that works?

I am using Mavericks with the latest updates 10.9.1.
I don't use signatures so apologies if I am getting this wrong.
    1. When you say signature do you mean one that was written in the signature box in Mail prefernces or a jpg file with your hand written signature on it?
    2. I accecpt that if it worked under SL something has changed.
I have done some testing and if I use a jpg for the signature and add an attachment then in Apple Mail when recieved they are both treated as attachments but are displayed in the body of the email.
    3. If I write a signature in the sig/prefes pane then that is plain text and only the jpg I sent is treated as an attachment but displayed in the body of the email.
This display inside the email is controlled by the Content-Disposition header before the MIME content in the email. My Apple Mail client in Mavericks sets this as 'inline', i.e.display in the body.
You can check for yourself how yours are formatted by viewing the raw source of your email, Menu Bar/View/Message and select Raw Source search for Content-Disposition and check its setting.
Now it gets a bit more interesting, it seems that Outlook mail client does not handle inline content as 'inline'
    Quote.
"When you receive a message that uses the content-disposition=inline MIME type, Outlook renders the embedded content as an attachment."
    see Microsoft support document http://support.microsoft.com/kb/814111
It states that this is by design.
So Apple Mail appears to be using the Content-Disposition header as by design and Outlook not, but I suppose the software designers will both disagree.
Can you check your email for Content-Disposition as online, and what do you use as a signature, plane text or jpg?
Have you any way of checking how SL formatted the same type of email, perhaps look in your older sent mails.
I may not be able to help but it would be nice to know why it is occuring.

Thanks for your response and yes I understand what you are saying. Maybe you could explain why "email users" hate HTML email with a passion.
These tend to be technical users who have a more purist attitude about email. They prefer that email be text-only, and consider HTML formatting to be superfluous for most messages. And I do think they have a point. If you have 100 plain-text emails and 100 HTML emails, you will notice that the HTML emails take up noticeably more disk space. And if the HTML email senders have loaded down their default emails with background images, signatures with corporate logos and winmail.dat attachments and all manner of embedded ornamentation, and (I never even thought people went this far) animations, then a simple email reply like "Thanks! I'll see you this evening," ends up carrying an tremendous additional amount of file size and network bandwidth overhead just to carry those six words. It not only means more disk space consumed, but it ripples all through the system: More space is required for backing up and archiving your emails, plus more mail server space and network bandwidth are consumed per message. Purists see this as an incredible waste of resources.
The message body of at text email can simply be "Thanks! I'll see you this evening."
The HTML version, at a bare minimum, must be
    {html}
    {p}"Thanks! I'll see you this evening."{/p}
    {/html}
(replaced angle brackets with curly brackets so Apple Forums won't try and format it)
Already that's almost double the amount of characters required to send the message, just to format it in HTML. And that's if no fonts, styles, graphics, or media have been applied. If they are, the number of actual characters sent balloons dramatically.
I'm in the middle. I don't hate HTML email, I'll even turn it on when I think formatting will help my message. But I like to use disk space efficiently, so I've set plain text as my default for sending messages.

    Hi ,
There is an option of embedding index for faster search while converting email to a PDF .
However I am not sure that will serve your purpose or not .

  • How to send a mail with rich text content like using outlook

Hi All. I have a serious problem. When we send the mail from
outlook express or yahoo, we can send the mail with the text appearing
in the mail with bold font , with different colors, underlined etc.
If i type this kind of text in any word processor and mail that content through java mail then the message should be received by the recepient with all that bold, color and underlines etc as it is. Can anybody please help me in this case ASAP.

Go to this site and download the htmlArea Javascripts. Embedd them in your HTML and it will turn your normal HTML Text Area into Rich Text Area. Your real code will include all HTML tags. For example if you select some text and make it bold , the real HTML output will look like <B>YOUR TEXT </B>. So i guess your recipient should be able to receive HTML contents.

  • Outlook 2010 - sending mail with attachment - "The system cannot find the file specified"

    Hi forum Fellows,
I have the following failure scenario:
    1. A user receives an e-mail with an attachment.
    2. The user opens the attachment --> Forwards the mail and writes something in the body of the e-mail
    3. For whatever reason the user leaves the e-mail and works on something else --> the user comes back to the e-mail an hour or more later.
    4. The user then wants to send the e-mail but gets the following error message: "The system cannot find the file specified"
    5. The effect is that the user cannot send the e-mail.....
    ------------------------------ TROUBLESHOOTING -----------------------
    - I can see that when the user opens an attachment this attachment is saved in the OutlookTemp folder. Actually, there is a difference between opening the attachment before or after clicking forward on the e-mail.
---- Before: Two files is written to the OutlookTemp folder. For example if the attachment name is FileX.pdf - there will be a FileX.pdf but also a FileX (2).pdf in the folder (if OutlookTemp is empty/do not contain a file with the name FileX.pdf already)
---- After: Only one file is written to OutlookTemp. That is FileX.pdf
    - Running Process Monitor when trying to forward the e-mail I can see that Outlook is calling a file that is not in the OutlookTemp folder anymore.
**** To me this is the heart of the issue. For some reason, when a user has an e-mail with an attachment open for an extended period of time (not sure on exactly how long is necessary), files in the OutlookTemp folder is deleted - files that Outlook is depending
    on to be there.
    - Going with a totally clean OutlookTemp folder does not help.
    ------------------ NOW WHAT ---------------
    - The question now is: Is this by design? Can it be fixed by some Outlook 2010 patch? Or perhaps a group policy/registry setting as a workaround.

    Red Baron

    Hello Red Baron,
Although not a complete answer, the way to treat attachments in emails require some discipline:
    1. Never open an attachment directly from the email (and NEVER edit it from there). Always save it in a known location as the desktop or (better) in a designated document folder. Then you can proceed as usual, like editing the contents, printing, forwarding
    the new version etc.
    2. Directly forwarding the attachment is ok, along with additional text in the body of the email.
    3. Having any (unsaved) document open for several hours should
never occur. What if there is a power outage?
Bottom line is thus Discipline. This is regardless of Operating System (which might handle temporary files differently).
These are the rules I teach my customers and they never leave any document unsaved for hours ...
    Best regards George

  • How do I sync Mail with Outlook and Gmail in browser?

I really like the Mail app in OS X, but I've noticed that it's not synced with the browser version of my email accounts, so anything I do in Mail (e.g. read an email, delete/trash it, etc) is only reflected within the app and not in my browser.
Just in case I didn't explain that properly: For example, if I read an email in Mail, and then switch to my Outlook account in Safari to check if that email has been marked as read, it would still appear as unread. If I delete and trash and email in Mac, that same email appears exactly where it used to be in Outlook, completely untouched.
This bothers me for two reasons. One, even if I were to stick with Mail and not touch my Outlook/Gmail accounts in Safari again, I still wouldn't like the idea of my inbox being all messy if I were ever to log back in. Two, Mail doesn't seem to have any options to create folders and subfolders as far as I'm aware, so my emails which are very neatly organized in Outlook are all lumped together in Mail's inbox. So even though Mail is a neat little app, I still have Outlook and Gmail bookmarked.
I'd like to know if there's a way to sync Mail with my email accounts in-browser, so that any changes I make in the app also show up when I log into my actual accounts? Maybe I'm just missing something or if this is not possible at all, please let me know. Thank you!

You have to set those accounts up as IMAP. Right now you probably have them set up as POP3 accounts.
Pop3 account are one way. You download your mail to your computer and send mail from your computer and it all stays on that particular computer. Imap stores everything on the mail providers server. Incoming and outgoing mail is always on the imap server and can be gotten on multiple devices. All sent mail is store on the server also and can be viewed from multiple devices.
With outlook that might not be possible. Not sure if individual outlook accounts can use imap. I do know that the office365 side can as that is what my company uses and some people are using macs and other email program other then ms outlook.
