Output Error When Debugging the Package

Hi,
I just created my first SSIS Package, with OLE DB Connection pointing to our Oracle server and using SQL SERVER Destination. When I Debug, I get the following error:

Information: 0x4004300A at Load Season, SSIS.Pipeline: Validation phase is beginning.
Error: 0xC0209303 at Packageload, Connection manager "ABCDEF": The requested OLE DB provider MSDAORA.1 is not registered. If the 64-bit driver is not installed, run the package in 32-bit mode. Error code: 0x00000000.
An OLE DB record is available. Source: "Microsoft OLE DB Service Components" Hresult: 0x80040154 Description: "Class not registered".
Error: 0xC020801C at Load Season, OLE DB Source [46]: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_CANNOTACQUIRECONNECTIONFROMCONNECTIONMANAGER. The AcquireConnection method call to the connection manager "ABCDEF" failed with error code 0xC0209303. There may
be error messages posted before this with more information on why the AcquireConnection method call failed.
Error: 0xC0047017 at Load Season, SSIS.Pipeline: OLE DB Source failed validation and returned error code 0xC020801C.
Error: 0xC004700C at Load Season, SSIS.Pipeline: One or more component failed validation.
Error: 0xC0024107 at Load Season: There were errors during task validation.
Warning: 0x80019002 at Packageload: SSIS Warning Code DTS_W_MAXIMUMERRORCOUNTREACHED. The Execution method succeeded, but the number of errors raised (5) reached the maximum allowed (1); resulting in failure. This occurs when the number of errors reaches
the number specified in MaximumErrorCount. Change the MaximumErrorCount or fix the errors.
SSIS package "C:\Users\Documents\SQL Server Management Studio\Packageload.dtsx" finished: Failure.
I tried setting the DelayValidation property to True, but still getting same error.

Regarding the error “Unable to bulk copy data. You may need to run this package as an administrator”, it is described in the KB article

On systems where UAC is enabled, when an application (like SSIS) is launched by an account that is a member of the Administrators group, it gets two security tokens, one a low privileged token and another an elevated token. The elevated token is only
used when the application is explicitly run under an Administrator account by choosing “Run as Administrator” option. By default SSIS always uses the low privileged token resulting in a failure when connecting to a SQL Destination.
The solution is launch the tool (SQL Server Management Studio or Business Intelligence Development Studio or DTExecUI.exe or Command Prompt) as administrator.
Regarding the original error “The requested OLE DB provider MSDAORA.1 is not registered. If the 64-bit driver is not installed, run the package in 32-bit mode”, it is because Microsoft OLE DB Provider for Oracle has only 32-bit version. To avoid this issue,
you can either run the package in 32-bit runtime mode as you have done or install the 64-bit Oracle Provider for OLE DB.
If you use Enterprise edition of SSIS 2008 or higher, you can also install the Microsoft Connector for Oracle by Attunity:

I am trying to execute the Flight Application example.
In the Search View I have entered City from and to and getting only one record in the table control as output in Result View irrespective of any cities.
I checked with SAPR/3 but it is showing more records.

So, to have OLL application worked locally . we need the following:
grant execute on utl_tcp to [your_schema_name]And to
Configure an Application Express Application as a Partner Application in Oracle AS Single Sign-On http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/testcontent/sso-partner-app-100552.html.
I think I am going to install on my work space on apex.oracle.com.

'Install App for SharePoint' There were errors when validating the App Package

Hello,
When testing with an app, I tried to add an
app event receiver before learning that remote event receiver are not allowed with
Sharepoint-hosted app. So I reseted the Handle app installed and
Web Project properties of my project and tried to redeploy and this error occurred :
'Install App for SharePoint' There were errors when validating the App Package
Something other than the project's properties have been modified but I don't know what.

I think the best way to figure real reason out is to look at ULS logs.
This is example, what I had:
Unexpected App Packaging: CreatePackage: Unexpected exception: There were errors when validating the App package: There were errors when validating the App Package. Other warnings / errors associated with this
exception: The current version of SharePoint is less than the SharePointMinVersion specified in the app manifest. CurrentVersion='15.0.4693.1000', SharePointMinVersion='16.0.0.0'.

Based that you are in base release I will encourage you to upgrade to the latest patchset for 10gR2 (10.1.2.3) and then apply the recommended bundled patch on top of 10.1.2.3 as several issues have been fixed with
those patches.

Can we trace the values in a cursor if we debug the package?

Can we trace the values in a cursor if we debug the package having a cursor?
Does it shows cursor attributes like %rowcount,%notfound,%found etc?
Because i am debugging a pachage , and I am getting the exception.
And its after the fetching of a cursor I am hitting on the exception.
If I click the profilier after I debug, its showing the error ora 1775::looping chain of synonyms.
The scenario is after the fetching of cursor, i am hitting the exception and after debug If i see the profilier I am getting the error 1775::looping chain of synonyms.

The select command in the cursor picks tha value but when it fetches, it is showing the error.
Any idea what could be the reason.?
FETCH get_notices ----would show ( rowcount =0,%open,first iteration), does that mean cursor is not picking any value?
Because i have checked the select statement and it picks the value.

ABAP Run time error when display the Customs Export declarations

Hi,
I'm receiving ABAP Run time error when display the Customs Exp. Declarations Under SAP Customs Processing -> Customs Processing - Import / Export -> Monitoring.
Error messaging point to Function Module - /SAPSLL/CUHD_LOAD_SELECTION.
While debugging we found that Primary Key of the below structures are not the same
lt_corpar                              type      /sapsll/corpar_t
lt_corpar_ht      type      /sapsll/corpar_k02_ht
Does anyone has the SAP Notes or solution to this issue other than changing the structures manually. I'm not sure about the impact if i change manually

    The main program was "/SAPSLL/CULO_DISPLAY_CUS_EXP ".
    In the source code you have the termination point in line 144
    of the (Include) program "/SAPSLL/LCUHD_SELECTIONU01".
We are on GTS Release 8.0 and Support Package SAPK-80014INSAPSLL (Support pack level 14).

I have implemented SAP Note 1531799, but it hasn't resolved the current issue.
For Our GTS instance, there are 2 Feeder Systems (ECC) attached, but document transfer in one of the system has not been activated. Both having the same partner functions ( We copied the sandbox into 2 different instances for different business Testings and now these 2 instances attached to GTS for testing). These feeder systems have different Logical system names and Logical system groups.

Can we debug the package pa_project_pvt.add_class_categories which is called in Pa_project_pub.create_project?

We are trying to create a project using the api code pa_project_pub.create_project. But we are unable to create due to some unexpected error status flag when pa_project_pvt.add_class_categories is executed. We tried by going through the code but it was in vain.
So couple of questions from our side.
1) Can we debug the package procedure pa_project_pvt.add_class_categories by any chance?
2) If yes, then what is the debugging process?
Any help in this regard would be helpful.

Hi,
you may try to enable debugging via Sysadmin responsibility by setting following profile options, either for a certain user (preferred) or a certain responsibility:
- "FND: Debug Log Enabled" set it to yes
- "FND: Debug Log Level" set it to 1 (but only temporarily, as it generates lots of loggings)
- "FND: Debug Log Module" set it to "pa" or "PA"
You'll have to log off and login to apps again for the profile options to come into effect.
Before you start your process, have a look at fnd_log_messages table (write down last value LOG_SEQUENCE,
so you can identify the loggings for your process easier) by filtering column log_sequence, module and user_id
(which is the user_id coming from fnd_user table).
Make sure that you set apps context (fnd_global.apps_initialize) correctly before the logic of your api call starts.

I am developing applications using WebDynpro for JAVA.
I am using NWDI 7.0.
I am getting an error while debugging the application. When I click on debug mode in debug perspective, I am getting error message as :
"Failed to connect to remote VM. Connection refused"
Could any one of you help in resolving this error?

Error when generating the report (see long text), Message no. AQ_AD_HOC221

Hi All,
I am facing a peculiar problem while executing an infoset query.I have created 2 customized fields Compa-ratio and PIR in infotype 0008 in an infoset.I have coded in these additional fields.
When I execute a query using 1 of these customized fields the report is generated correctly.But when I put both the fields in the output the report shows an error "Error when generating the report (see long text)". The message# associated with this errAQ_AD_HOC221.
I have also checked the data types and the references. Nothing seems to be wrong here.
Does anybody has any clue about this ?

Hi Bernd,
I had a look at those notes. But the information provided did'nt prove to be helpful. I found out the problem. I was using the same local variable for both the fields in their code. This generated the error. This error is a very generic one and does'nt help in finding out what exactly is the problem.
I changed the other local variable and it started working. When I was using the same variable that time I did'nt forget to clear the values but the query still generated the error.

It can't find an Endeca specific class when running via the clover command line utility. Thus, the classpath being set in that shell script is not incorporating the .jar files where the endeca-specific classes are packaged. I would start by adding an line to see what your classpath is set to. There are actually already some lines of shell script in clover that you can uncomment to see what .jars are getting loaded:

Hard Drive "Input Output" Error When Attempting to Format

A friend just gave me a nice PowerBook that seems to be in need of a fresh OS and when attempting to format the hard drive I am getting an "Input Output" error. Any suggestions to overcome this issue and format the drive?

It's only after having this problem, that I came across this recall for possible faulty hard drives, that Apple offered:

So, I got onto ebay and picked up a deal and received my new hard drive yesterday. I swapped out the original 80GB with 320GB, only to find the same input/output error described by the OP, here (also in a couple of other Apple discussion posts - see below).
Disk utility shows the new hard drive to be 2.3TB in size! Should be 320GB - but, this is also what others have described. See e.g.,:

I've run the extended testing from the CD (holding down 'D' on boot-up) and it reported no problems. Also, similar to others experiences:

Disk Utility "Input - Output error" when attempting to erase Hard Drive

Hope that someone can point me in the right direction.
I bought an external hard drive for Windows a year back and loaded music onto it. I realized that I my MAC wasn't getting "Read / Write" privileges for the External Hard Drive, so I decided to try to Partition it and make it into a FAT readable device. It erased all data from my hard drive, but Disk Utility stopped the process and displayed an "input - output error".
Consequently, I can't initialize the external hard drive to make it usable on my MAC.
Can anyone point me in the right direction so I can "reformat" my external?

Multivalue error when using the previous() function

I am getting a multivalue error when using the previous() function on a dimension object in the report. I thought that the previous function was supposed to look at the current report and then look at the previous record's contents. How could this possibly give me a multivalue error when the value is clearly output in the previous row? Anyone have any ideas?
By the way, this is a valuable function for the types of reports that I design. The next() function would be even more valuable.

Could you please test the following solutions it might help you to resolve the issue.
Solution1:
Use slice and dice to reset all the tables that have #multivalue in it. The only problem with this workaround is they have to do the formatting manually.
Solution2:
Also, test the issue by changing the object to dimension if it is a measure or to measure if it is a dimension.

SOLVED: Getting an Input/Output error when accessing certain files

My system started failing a few days ago because of sudden Input/Output errors when trying to access certain files. It was running fine until various applications started crashing like for example Pidgin (in retrospect probably because of DBus crashing). I decided to reboot and now can't login anymore because the DBus module fails to load which in turn means that HAL doesn't load either and so I can't use my keyboard to login.
The error message I get from DBus is that it can't access the file /etc/dbus-1/system.d/org.freedesktop.PolicyKit.conf because of an Input/Output error. I tried to fix/see what was wrong using the arch livecd. Because I thought my problem had to do with a pacman update that had failed before I'd rebooted, I updated my system and I noticed that when pacman tried to access other files it came back with the same error message. The files seemed pretty random, one of them was fakeroot.conf and then several library files like libfaad (sorry this is kind of vague but I'm away from home right now and can't go online very often so I'm writing this from memory).
I'm guessing its a hard drive problem because checking the filesystem for errors came back with nothing. I was just wondering whether anyone had any other ideas before I go and reinstall. I'm going back home tomorrow so I'll be able to follow any advice/reinstall then.

UPDATE
It seems to be fixed! The second run of e2fsck fixed some more issues and the files that were causing the problems earlier seemed to have bad inodes. Boots fine now and I can get into my system. I checked and I still have a reasonable amount of free space so I don't think that was the reason ... I have no idea how the filesystem got so corrupted out of nowhere.
A few things are different, for example, it asked me to unlock the keyring and I couldn't mount my external encrypted drive anymore and had to do it manually with cryptsetup. e2fsck made quite a few changes so I imagine it's due to that. Shouldn't be to hard to fix though.
