Output having problem in PO

Hi,
Don't know whether you come across this problem but I hope you can shed some light as to why my PO documents are unable to trigger and to retrieve the output condition despite that I have enter the condition record in MN04?
I checked NAST table, and I notice that many PO documents with this output type were able to retrieve this output previously.
Some extra input:
1 - This is stock transport order purchasing with item category of U
2 - it is a Z report with copy version of NEU.
Please help.
thanks
Tuff

Hi,
If you have done all customizing setting for PO output type & maintain condition record for message type in t.code : MN04. Now Just fine tune the output (message) type in following path:
SPRO>MM>Purchasing>Message>Output control>Message tyoes> Define message type for Purchase Order-->Fine-Tuned Control: Purchase Order
Now here select the check box corresponding to your output(message) type  to have print output for this message type is automatically displayed & save.
Now try creating PO/STO & you will have default PO out put message type.

Biju K

    We have no knowledge of java at all.
    We did some modifications to it as below:
    String mailBody = new String();
    int a = a.length();
    int b = b.length();
    int c = c.length();
    int d = d.length();
    int e = e.length();
    for(int i = 0; i < a.length(); i++)
    mailBody = mailBody + a + " " + b + " " + c + " " + d + " " + e + "<BR>";
    result.addValue(mailBody);
    It it didn't work. Think we are missing something. Can please help us to figure it out.
    Thanx

  • Having problem with the printer with type "PDF Publisher"

    Hi,
    We are having problem with printing PDF reports with print style as "PDF Publishrer". The concurrent program errors out after it generates the report. But when we try that with style "PORTRAIT" then it prints successfully. We have tried with a number of printers and a number of reports. The results are same. So my understanding is it has something to do with the printer configuration from the EBS side.
    Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

    Hi Hussein ,
    Thanks for the response. The details are provided below.
    The application is R12.1, Database 11.1.0.7, OS is Solaris 10.
    The database characterset is US7ASCII.

  • XSLT HTML output escaping problem

    I am having problems with JAXP XSLT output escaping in HTML. I have an XML document which correctly escapes &, <, > etc (eg: &amp). However, when I transform the document the XSLT processor is escaping these values again. This means that the HTML output contains &amp; where the XML document contains & (for example). Surely correctly escaped characters in the XML should be left alone? Or should the XML document not contain escaped characters? In my understanding special characters in text nodes of XML documents should be escaped. Obviously a work around is to disable output escaping on these nodes but that is a real pain to have to do each time you pull a value through from the XML document. I'm confused as to what format the XSLT processor expects the XML to be in in relation to escaping of elements. Any information gratefully accepted!
    Thanks.

    Sorry! I was getting confused - the special characters were being escaped twice before they reached the XSLT processor. It looks like the processor will leave alone escape sequences that are already in the XML when it transforms to HTML.

  • Output Preview Problems

    Hi All,
    I have recently been having problems with the Output Preview in Acrobat 11 and it's driving me crazy.
    The output preview is not reliably showing the correct CMYK Colour values - see below
    I have created a sign in Illustrator CC 2014 and printed to PDF using the 'Press Quality' settings. I have ensured that all Adobe software is using the same profile (North American General Purpose 2) by setting it Bridge.
    I import the PDF into Photoshop and get a yellow value of 100%
    I then open Acrobat and check the same area and get a yellow value of 97%
    In Acrobat I open Preferences > Colour Management and change the colour profile from North American General Purpose 2 to something else and then back to North American General Purpose 2. I check the yellow again and get 100%
    Has anyone else had this issue? If so, how did you fix it? Many thanks in advance.
    Kind regards,
    Christian.

    I think you are measuring the image preview from Photoshop when you open your rastered Photoshop file in Acrobat. You should probably save your original Illustrator file as a PDF (not print to PDF). When you open the PDF in Photoshop, you are converting your vector file to an Image, which I think also creates a low-res preview of the actual image (which has various uses). If you check your Photoshop preferences, you might be able to turn the preview creation off, but I really wouldn't worry about it. As a test, save your original Illustrator file as a .tiff and see how that works. Unless you are adding something in Photoshop that can't be added in Illustrator or InDesign, it's usually better to keep everything vector, as much as possible.

  • EMAIL output type problem

    I am having problem in executing email output in order.In customer master email address is mentioned correct.But from order when I am executing the email output its going to some the customer email address not the one which is mentioned in the customer master.Can anybody tell me why it is happening??

    Dear Chakri,
                   As per my thinking this the cause for your problem so please check regarding that,
    Go to VA02 transaction there you enter your Sales order no which is in the problem ,then click on sales document (at top of the left corner) --> Issue output to , system will take you to output popup screen there you click on print options it will take you to details of the issue output, there you check who is Recipient of that output at Recipient field and medium of the output.
    If recipient is different change the recipeint to whom you wan to send the mail.
    I hope it will help you
    Thanks,

  • Sorry for my ignorance but i'm having problems printing

    Hi
    I am very new to indesign and to print graphics.  I am not new to web graphics.
    I am having problems printing a document that I have created in InDesign CS5.  Now I have learnt that I need to calibrate stuff with ICC profiles but I am not sure what I am doing.
    Do i need to create aan ICC profile for my monitor and printer?
    How do I get these to worl with InDesign?
    I suppose I need to tell you what is going on.   When I print my document which is mostly different shades of grey, most of the different grey shades are nearly black and I can only just see the differentces in shades between the grays.  Now on my monitor they are distinctly different and can easily be seen.
    So what steps do I nee dto get these colours right?
    Cheers

    For good reproduction you need an accurate monitor profile (this is done with a colorimeter or spectrophotometer --that's overkill for just the monitor, but it can do the printer, too -- and profiling software) and an output profile for the printer and paper combination. The industry standard EyeOne colorimeter package is around $200, the spectrophotometer will cost quite a bit more.
    There are services that will profile your printer for you, too, but learing to do it yourself will cost less over the long haul if you are really serious about the output quality. In theory you need to recalibrate and profile printers on a regular basis, especially when you change ink or toner. Out here in the real world, though, I suspect most of us who are not producing commercial color output just do it once and live with it until the results are no longer acceptable and the profiles need to be updated. I proof for internal use on my color laser, for example, and it hasn't been re-profiled for about three years. It no longer matches waht I see on the monitor exactly, but it's still fairly close and the prints are for my own use. I always get a proof from the printer when it's time to go to press.
    Of course not all monitors and not all printers are created equal. Some monitors are incapable of showing fine gradtions in sahding in the dark or very light grays, and many, if not most, printers can't capture all of the shades you can see on screen.
    For any given printer resolution, such as a 600 dpi printer, the higher the linescreen value used to print, the lower the number of shades that can actually be produced. Halftone spots (which is what are used to fool you into seeing gray using only black ink) are made up of groups of printer dots, and you can't print half a printer dot, so, for example, 600 dpi printer outputting at 100 lines per inch linescreen, uses about 36 printer dots to make each halftone spot (it might be a little different because the shape of the halftone spot is seldom a square). The best you can get from 36 printer dots is 37 levels (no dots to all dots), so the best you can hope for is about 3% steps.
    Add in dot gain, the spread of ink or toner as it's absorbed into the paper and which is more prominent at darker shades, and your shadows tend to plug up, and the very light shades may not show at all. Less than 5% dot, for example is extremely hard to print on most lasers.
    A really good book on the subject is Real World Scanning and Halftones, and a great book on color management in general is Real World Color Management.

  • Having problems copying an image

    I'm having problems copying an image. The Image comes from my jar file and I'm trying to copy it to my hard drive. The problem is that it seems to add extra characters at the beggining and maybe at the end as well. I used a Hex Editor to compare the contents.
    Anyway I was wondering if anyone could offer suggestions.
    My code is listed below in case that helps.
    "in" is an InputStream, "content" is a byte array, and "out" is an OutputStream
    try {
       in = getClass().getResourceAsStream("LoveGameSm.gif");
       content = new byte[in.available()];
       out = new ObjectOutputStream(new FileOutputStream("Tmp.gif"));
       in.read(content);
       out.write(content);
       out.flush();
       in.close();
       out.close();
    catch(Exception e)  {
       e.printStackTrace();
       return null;
    }

    The problem is in the use of ObjectOutputStream... this does not work the way you think it does. It is used to serialize an object to an output stream. A serialized object is just the on-disk representation of a Java object. So, you are getting a serialized copy of a byte array, which is why there are extra characters.
    Instead, just leave off the ObjectOutputStream stuff, and write to the FileOutputStream. Better yet, wrap it in a BufferedOutputStream to increase performance.

  • I'm having problems in a GOOP application with multiple instances of the same object running simultaneously.

    I?ve written an application to control a system with multiple lamps. Each lamp in the system has its own power supply. Each lamp object contains a reference to its power supply. The application contains an array with the references to all the lamps in the system. Each lamp is in charge of monitoring itself and setting its power supply?s voltage according to the applications commands, therefore each lamp needs that its ?run me? method will run as long as the application is running i.e. the run method has to be reentrant. Because there are multiple lamps and because the ?run me? methods for each lamp run simultaneously, to over come this problem each lamp has a met
    hod ?run? that calls ?run me? with ?RUN VI? invoke node with the ?Wait until done? set to false. When I run the application, it seems to work but if I check the AO there is no change in the output, and the lamps seem to be reading their input from the same channel. I can?t seem to find the problem, I think that the fact that the method is reentrant causes some sort of mix-up in the separate object references. Also because the method is reentrant I can?t debug it (with one lamp it seems to work ok). Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this problem.
    P.S I'm having problems attaching my sample program to this message. You can contact me at [email protected] to recive the sample program I wrote.

    Jean, Thanks for your answer, I've tried checking the invoke node that calls the "Run VI" method but it doesnt return an error any of the times its called even that the Vi that it called is still running. I also tried your solution of changing the object's "Run" method to a template but that doesnt work either. I can't seem to post the sample progam that demonstrates the problem, is it possible to send it to you by email, contact me at [email protected]

  • Having problem with storing data in array

    Hi,
    I'm having problem on storing data in array. My problem is that each time it loops, the array just keep overwrite instead save to the next index. Like at 0 the value is 123, and 1 is 234. But i having that all data capture all overwrite at 0 till the last data it still show at 0. How do i correct this problem?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    How to use array to do comparison? Like Array 1 go thru array 2 to get data Loss out and build an array. Like Array 1 ,1000,1024,1048,etc before 1520 fall in between Array 2 range 1000-1500. So Freq 1000,1024,1048 etc will get Loss value as 1 and 1520 fall in between 1500-2000 will output Loss 2. and so on till the end of the list. How should do this? Need help on this.
    Array 1                                                Array 2
    Freq                                                   Freq   Loss
    1000                                                  1000      1
    1024                                                  1500      2
    1048                                                  2000      3
    1100                                                   :
    1200                                                   :

  • Having problems with rendering clipls

    I am new to Premier elements, and am having problems with my clips needing frequent rendering.  Clips that have been rendered go from green (line) to red when a transition is added or if it is trimmed and must be rendered again.  Also rendering seems to take a very long time, sometimes going fast, sometimes going a frame per second or slower.  One possible problem is that I am mixing clips from two different cameras, one a HD and the other a standard def camera. I don't know if this is a factor or not.

    If your clips are initially importing with a red line your project preset may be wrong - what preset are you using?
    After applying transitions or effects it is normal for those segments to go red line.
    It doesn't help to use two different types of video in one project. What is your final output intent - DVD or BluRay? If DVD then it would be better to convert your HD material to DV-AVI. See the Gspot link below - analyse both types of clip you are using and post the screen images here.
    Some basics:
    Install all Windows Updates.
    Install latest version of Apple QuickTime (v7.6.7 at time of writing). Even if you don't use QuickTime, PRE relies heavily on it.
    Install most recent graphics and sound drivers from the manufacturers web sites.
    Run Disk Cleanup.
    Run Defragmenter.
    Temporarily disable any anti-virus realtime scanning.
    Use the GSpot Codec Information Utility to analyse the file and post screen image.
    Post back here with the necessary information described here: Got a Problem? How to Get   Started

    Sorry for the late reply. My email firewall has become a little over zealous & sent a lot of my emails straight to my junk email folder, so I have only just now discovered your reply in my junk mail folder.
    The only "don't open files exceeding xxx megabytes" instruction I can find in my Prefs, is in the Bridge Prefs for Thumbnails, & mine is set at 1000mb. The biggest files I handle are bigger than 200mb so I should be able to open a few, not just one.
    However, this doesn't explain why I can open a psd format file of 180mb, close it, but then can't open a RAW format file of only 26mb immediately after.
    I can open the RAW file only if I restart my computer - very annoying!
    However, thanks for the advice about the video card & memory.
    So, I'm still stuck as to what the issue is.
