In the requirement we have written
   IF sy-tcode = 'ME29N'.
      sy-subrc = 4.
    ENDIF.
  ENDIF.
  CHECK sy-subrc EQ 0.
But still on release output is getting triggered.

  • Sound effects no longer play in Rosetta emulation games

    While sorting out the data transferred from my recently deceased Powerbook G4 17", I accidently started up Audacity 1.2.3 which is a Power PC only version. It only partially loaded with its icon in the Dock but nothing else. I had to force quit the program to get rid of it and then deleted it. When my teenage son went to play his suite of PPC games such as Age of Empires 2 and StarWars after that, the game sound effects no longer worked. The background music still plays, but all the player responsive sound effects will not play, even though the settings to play them are correct.
    I am wondering if the opening up and crashing of the Power PC Audacity may have stuffed up something in the Rosetta emulation system software relating to the sound output of emulated games. Before I consider doing a full backup and reinstall, does anyone who is a regular gamer playing PPC games on a Macbook Pro have any ideas on how to fix this problem. I was wondering if the Rosetta component of OSX can be replaced from a working system or if it is totally integrated into the Mac OS unlike Classic was.
    All advice appreciated!

    +I tried to set "Problem solved" but got an error so will try again later.+
    Thanks for trying and glad it fixed the problem

  • Inserting a sound file in j2me

    I have been developing my thesis: "marketing information systems on cellphones using multimedia messaging service".
    I am new with java and for my thesis I have been using J2ME. I have successfully created an advertisement on an emulator using J2ME Wireless Toolkit Version 1.0.4_01. It would be very much appreciated if you could give me tips on how to incorporate an audio file on my advertisements.
    Thank you very much! =)

    Loading media files by dragging them into iWeb requires that the visitor has the QuickTime plugin. A lot of PC users don't have this and the flash plugin is more universal. However, flash is not supported in iOS devices like the iPhone.
    Media players can be arranged to use flash and fallback to HTML5 or vice versa. Since HTML5 is not standardized across all browsers it makes sense to use the former method at this time. You can see how the various browsers display audio here...
    http://www.iwebformusicians.com/Website-Music-Players/HTML5-Audio-Player.html
    ... and , of course, IE doesn't support it yet.
    Here's a couple of examples of movie players that do this...

  • J2ME Wireless Toolkit 1.0.3 Beta

    I'm now using J2MEWTK 1.0.3 Beta to test my J2ME applications and it runs smooth, however I faced a problem when trying the OTA download.
    After I ran the OTA (emulator -Xjam) and typed the correct location of my JAD files, it showed a list of applications I have on server, but when I've choosed one of the application and clicked "install", it asked me to check the JAD file. Can anyone help, thanks a lot.
    Moreover, if I just click the JAD file on my PC, it can download the JAR file from server and run it.

    I stand corrected in my previous reply.
    You must check the .jad file that resides ON THE WEB SERVER with the correct URL pointer attribute and also make sure the .jar file exists in the correct location.
    Also you need to ensure that the MIME type on the webserver for .jad files is set and looks like this:
    MIME=text/vnd.sun.j2me.app-descriptor
    , so that the webserver returns the correct MIME type to the Java Application Manager on your emulator or J2ME device.
    All you need to have in your MIDlet are lines of code that will open a HTTP connection to the HTML page on the webserver that contains a HREF tag pointing to .jad file that has the URL pointer attribute that points to the .jar MIDlet app file.

  • Can i execute a j2me application in a BREW phone

    Hai friends,
    Can i execute a j2me application in a BREW phone , if it is how? or should i need to go for any special certifications or convertions to make executable in BREW.B'caz i was not able to find the BREW emulator for j2ME?
    Thanks in Advance,

    Hi
    Yes you can run J2ME applications from a BREW device. But before doing that, you need to install the BREW extention to support J2ME. Which is nothing but the JVM.
    This can either be done over the air or manually.
    Check out this page: http://brew.qualcomm.com/brew/en/about/java/white_paper_03.html for more details.
    esmertec is one of the companies that has developed this BREW extention for J2ME. You can check esmertec.com for more details.

  • Beginner to Java Card - blur!

    Hi, i am new here.
    After installing j2se and java card 2.2.1 sdk and reading the pdf files (docs).

    Will i see an emulator like j2me (a mobile emulator that will appear)? Will java card had such thing?
    If i want to write a hello world, will i see the hello world been emulated?
    Can anyone tell me more with their experience?
    Thanks.

    Ok, i don't see anything. So what if it is identical? Am i suppose to see an emulated Hello World in a command prompt. I only saw it listen to adpu, and then nothing special.

  • Drag together a few technologies

    Hi all
    My apologies as this is not a specific J2ME post but I'm writing to see if anyone has tried to drag together a few technologies. I'm trying to drag in Bluecove for bluetooth emulation with J2ME Polish so that I can test my app as well as attempt to try and make it look good?
    Is this something people attempt to do? At the moment I'm developing on OS X and using Microemulator and the two technologies are working but I would rather use Polish? Has anyone got any good guides? Doesn't have to be OS X based? Or has anyone had the same goals but used different technologies and gone about this another way?
    Any advice? Comments and Discussions are welcome!

    Thanks Pradeep & Reddy..
    I am sure this will work if there are just 2 plants...But I need to group together ~ 10 plants....I probably will have to link all these plants in pairs and then the STO will happen from one plant to another in chains before reaching the final destination.
    Now, conside this ..
    There are 10 plants - A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J
    I have grouped the plants in the same order...So, if there is no stock in A but in D, then it has to be traneferred from D to C; Cto B and then B to A.  Is there a possibility to get it directly from D to A.  And if stock is available in J, I should be able to get it from J to A.
    Is this possible?  If yes, my problem is solved !!
    Kindly throw some light on this..

  • OTA for Motorola and Siemens Java Phone

    I have implemented an OTA server for downloading J2ME applications for Motorola Accompli 008 before, however after I successfully worked it on Siemens SL45i and I found that I cannot download J2ME applications to my Motorola's one, but Siemen's one still works fine, as well as the emulator of J2ME Wireless ToolKit 1.0.3. Can anyone help, thanks a lot.

    Hello!
    Hi have been trying to implement an OTA server for downloading to a Siemens SL45i and Nokia 9210 with no success.
    I'am desperate, and i need all help that I can get....
    I've made the following configurations on my web server:
    -Make an wml/html page with one link to my application (jad file);
    -Added 2 MIME types in web server (.jad and .wml);
    -Connect my mobile phone to WEB ....
    -Open my wml/html page (in my computer) in my mobile phone, like http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/j2me/index.wml;
    -This wml/html is presented and then I click on the link to the jad file;
    -The Jam asks if I want to download the application with a specific size which I respond Yes;
    -The Jam prompts for the destination, which I respond Save;
    -I'll provide name and choose Ok;
    The mobile phone try's to make the jar download but after a while this connection auto shut downs printing a message error to the screen...
    Am I missing something?!!!
    Also, it has been told to me by SUN that the MIDP software to Motorola is full of bugs...
    PLEASE HELP ME
    Can you give your e-mail to further details?
    Thanks

  • Can not create a CDC class lib which's refer to another lib.

    Hello, Everybody.
    I need somebody's help that I'm trying to create a CDC class library
    which's refer to another CDC class library.
    The develop environment's Nokia Series 80 Platform SDK for Symbian OS, for Java, Personal Profile
    which's emulator of J2ME(CDC) with NetBeans IDE 6.0.1 for Mobility.
    First of alll, I created class that will be used from other library.
    The library name calls core here.
    Second of all, I try to build another class library which's refer to core library.
    then, I get error that as below.
    Symbol not found.
    Place:java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError Class
    method(XXXX.class.getName());--------> XXXX is the class which's include of core library.
    Error: can't detect initCause method.
    I confirmed that the "project.properties" file of core lib includes "build.classes.excludes"
    and "project.properties" file of target lib includes "libs.classpath".
    I have no idea to resolve this problem.
    Does anyone know that how to resolve it?
    Edited by: fc3srx7m on Mar 4, 2008 6:20 PM

    I resolved myself that the reason was "class.getName()" does not supported on CDC 1.0.(Maybe)
    Therefore, I use literal insted of "class.getName()".
    That's all.
    Thank you.

  • Getting IP adress / phone number

    Hello !
    I'd like to know how to get the IP address or the phone number of my emulator through J2me ? I'm actually trying to build a client-server prog and being able to get either IP or phone would be more practical, because the server will have to send messages to specific clients ( through the Ip adress ).
    Thx for your help !
    MatD

    The device probably doesn't have an IP address.
    You should initiate the connections from the MIDlet:
    the server should be listening on some port, and it
    has to open and save a new connection every time a
    client accesses it. Then it can send the info to the
    client using the saved connection.
    But most phones don't support sockets, so I think you
    should look into a solution that relies only on
    http.

  • Is there a terminal emulator with up- down output?

    The idea just hit me but it's very hard to find something in search or on google (up and down are popular keywords...).
    Here's my idea: the terminal I use (urxvt) and every other I heard of always outputs text sort of 'upwards'. Meaning: the prompt line is mostly on the bottom (and if you use a tiling wm like me it's mostly on the bottom of the screen), well except for new terminal windows of course.
    I thought it would be cool if it could be on the top of the screen and the lines would be output towards the bottom of the window. Get it? If you would take a normal terminal window and reverse the lines order, this would be exactly what I need.
    Quick example:
    A normal terminal

    Get it? Top -> down! So the prompt always gravitates toward the top of the window (provided enough output of course)
    So anyway, back to the question: is there a terminal emulator that can do it?

    But no, as far as I know there's no such things.
    Any if you think it a little further, it's a trouble some idea. You may not notice with a simple "ls" command but with something more complex trouble will pop up every where.
    How about you try and think how exactly will you implemented this idea.
    Could be fun (Tried it).
    Heh yea, i just did the same and came to the same conclusions.

  • How to quit the J2ME emulator when running from a batch?

    I am launching the J2me emulator from a batch file in order to run unit tests (J2meUnit). I am using "emulator.exe -classpath ... -Xdevice:mediaControlSkin -Xdomain@trusted com.mydomain.TestMyMidlet".
    This works fine, and some of the tests even pass (;-)) but after the last one the emulator sits there waiting for me to shut it down, which would get a little tiresome at 4.00am every morning when the rest of the automated unit tests run ;-) How should I terminate it please? I tried to call destroyApp(true) after the last test but got "java.lang.SecurityException: Application not authorized to access the restricted API". What am I missing please? Thanks for any ideas...

    You can extend j2meunit.midletui.TestRunner (which you are probably already doing),
    copy-and-paste the start method from the source package, then change the end to look like this:
                                  System.out.println("Exception while running test: " + e);
                             e.printStackTrace();
    // start change
                   finally
                             notifyDestroyed();
    // end change
              }.start();
         }In other words, when all the tests are done, notify the application manager that you're all done. (destroyApp is what the app manager calls, notifyDestroyed is what you call)
    On the same topic (risking modestly hijacking the thread here) I'd like to ask if anyone knows how to just run some class inside a J2ME VM without having to pop up the UI.
    I know there is a j2meunit.textui.TestRunner, but I haven't figured out any way to get a command-line KVM without an UI at all. AWT throws exceptions when no X server is running (or you unset $DISPLAY). Of course, everything runs fine (except that you can't specify an exit code, which gives you some more hoops to jump through with ant), but I don't think an unit test should need an X server running / should pop up a window for half a second.

  • FPGA output different to emulator

    I've written a simple vi that outputs a sine wave using the FPGA sine generator. This passes through a half-wave rectifier setup (via a SCB-68 connector block) and back into the FPGA. When I set the execution target to the FPGA emulator the vi works perfectly. A full sine wave is displayed on one wave-chart, and a half wave on other. However, when I target the FPGA device and compile and download the vi, the output turns into what appears to be random noise. Both wave-charts show nothing like a sine wave. Whats going on?
    Cheers,
    Rob.

    Actually i've just found the following in a help file, i'll give it a go...
    Sine Generator Details
    If you target an FPGA device emulator, the Sine Generator VI outputs every point of the generated sine wave, regardless of the rate at which LabVIEW calls the VI. To produce the same data while targeting an FPGA device emulator as when targeting an FPGA device, change phase increment to take into account the rate at which the FPGA VI calls the Sine Generator VI. The following equation determines the correction for using an FPGA device emulator.
    phase increment (emulation) = phase increment (FPGA) * FPGA loop time (ticks)

    how to do the connection for NFC in j2me emulator. If anyone has already work on this project kindly help me to figure out the problem, and please shared me if you have any demo code related to this project. Thanks

    Just to clarify - in the USA, ATT/3G (GSM) models need a micro-SIM; Verizon (CDMA) models don't
    In other countries, the great bulk of providers use GSM (and so will need a micro-SIM). CDMA tends to be concentrated in Asia (there's no hard and fast rule)
    I don't know whether any CDMA providers outside the USA support the iPhone yet.
