Overwrite-exit not possible in view controller

Hi all,
Within a standard abap webdynpro application I see two columns for pre-exit and post-exit within the methods tab. I can't see a column for the overwrite-exit. Within transaction SE24 I can see all three columns.
Does someone have an idea why the overwrite-exit is not visible within the webdynpro component?

I found it myself. The overwrite-exit is only possible in enhancement pack 1 (7.01). We are still on 7.0.

Maybe someone could help me with my problem.
I have bought Linksys E 4200. I'm connected up by protocol PPPoE by my provider, but IPTV doesn't work on my computer.
I use the program IP-TV Player and/or VLC Player and both don't work. I only see the list of channel, but any channel doesn't load. Before I used the router DLink Dir 300, and everything was Ok.

Two ways to check the IP address for IPTV.
a) On the TV, go to network settings
b) From your router, check the DHCP table of the clients, if your TV is connected to your network, its IP should be listed.

Even WebGl is turned on it is not possible to view 3d websites like Google BodyBrowser.

The site bodybrowser.googlelabs.com cant find the WebGl plugin

First, try to update your graphic driver version. Then, the way WebGL is rendered changed in Firefox 4.0b8 (release in a few days). I think both of these solutions will solve your problem.

my question is i have created overwrite exit for method of component controller in one enhancement implementaion say ENH1, and i also created overwrite exit for same method in another enhancement implemenation say ENH2, it means i have two different implemenations now,
My questions here is, will both Enhancement implemenations will "execute", if yes in what order..

I'm afraid the information that Manas gave you is incorrect. In an overwrite method, the enhancement completely overrides and replaces the original method. Both versions are NOT executed. This is the risk you run with the Overwrite enhancement - you are choosing to completely replace the SAP delivered logic.
From the Online Help:
The overwrite exit method takes on the signature of the original method and overwrites it. This means that an overwrite exit is executed instead of the original method.
At runtime only one overwrite exit can be active. If several overwrite exits are active, a runtime error occurs.

UINavigationBar not displaying items for root view controller

I've stumbled on something that has me completely stumped.
This works: Add a UINavigationItem and UIBarButtonItems to a .xib (linking up the necessary outlets), push the view controller on to a navigation controllers stack. Result: You see the title and buttons on the nav bar correctly displayed.
This doesn't work: Repeat the same process, but put these items in the root view controller of a navigation controller.
The fix: Disconnect the UINavigationItem from the root view controllers "File's Owner" navigationItem outlet, override viewDidLoad in the root view controller class; and programatically set the items there.
What am I missing? Why does the technique for configuring nav bar items work for additional view controllers pushed on to an existing navigation controllers stack, but not if the view controller is the root view controller? I have a sample project demonstrating this if this doesn't make sense!

View of Component Is Not Visible. Navigation Is Not Possible

Hi All,
I have copied Window1 into Window2 and when I try to navigate from view1 to view2 in the copied window(window2),the dump "View of Component Is Not Visible. Navigation Is Not Possible " is thrown.
I have tried recreating the navigation links in the second window as well,but no luck.
Can any one please help me out,this is very uregnt...

Hi Salma,
Are you trying to navigate between the views of 2 different windows? If that's the case then you can proceed as follows:
Create 2 views and 2 windows and assign first view to first window and second view to second window. Also create an [exit plug|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/48/ca3351508f04e7e10000000a42189c/frameset.htm] for window1 with parameter URL of type string.
Note:
when you create windows automatically an interface view will also create with same name.
Now create application1 for window1(nothing but give interface1 ) in the same way create another application and assign corresponding interface view.
Then write your logic in the onAction method of view1,call the exit plug of window1 then pass the URL of second application.

Activate overwriting exit after note

Hi guys.
I wanna create an overwrite exit in standard FITV_VC_COST_ASSIGNMENT webdynpro component, but it seems not be possible. I set the overwrite exit in the componentcontroller, in the COST_***_GET method. I already had set exits in componentcontroller methods, working fine, but it doesnt. Firstly, I set my exit, but when I noted it was not taken into account by the system, I realized the componentcontroller was inactive. Someone else had set a note and he/she did not activate. When I asked for activation, the owner of the user responsible for the note activated in mandant 100. But I develop in 105, so she did the same with it. Since I do my tests in 115, I asked her activate at 115 too. But even so my code at pre, post and overwrite exits in this componentcontroller are not working. The enhacement workbench is fine, but the effect is null. I erased the exits and deleted my enhancement implementation and created anothers over the same standard method, but the result is negative. My code at these exits is "jumped" and only the standard code of the method is executed.
What i should do? Capitulate? I know that there are more mandants in the system at the same level (DEV, not QAS). Should the responsible user that put the note activate in all the mandants? Does anyone know what is happening here? Thank you

Inside the standard method, there was a call to another method. I used an enhancement point in that method, because it was imposible to enhance the standard web dynpro component. I am not sure why.

WDRuntimeException: Instance of view controller SystemView does not exist

I'm working with SAP NetWeaver v7.0, NWDS 7.0.19 and IE v8 on Windows Platform. And have started with my first steps in front of Web Dynpro.
The scenario is: I have three Web Dynpro views with tables (not embedded). All tables are setted with the property "selectionMode = none". The first and second table has just one column with cells from type of "LinkToAction".
The navigation between the first both are working fine, but after clicking at one of the columns links in the second table, the third view is showing just an half second and then an error comes up:

When I reset the property value from "none" to anything in "selectionMode", all views are working fine, including the last one.

Ok, problem has been fixed. The reason was: I had defined "onLeadSelect = ANYTHING_SELECTED" (Event property) for the table and the LinkToAction-Element. Reset the "onLeadSelect" on the table level and the error should be solved.

Keyboard not resigning the second time i pop a view controller

i am developing an app that involves 2 tableViewcontroller. when a cell is selected in a tableViewController the detail table view is shown. the detail table view has a cell with a textfield in it.The value entered in the textfield is send to a webservice and the response is alerted using alertView. When the ok button is pressed in the alert view the viewcontroller is poped from navigationcontroller. the keyboard is hidden using the code

this is working fine the first time i push the viewcontroller and pop it. The keyboard is hiding. but the second time i push the same view controller and then pop the viewcontroller the keyboard is not hiding... can anyone tell me where i have went wrong..?

I checked the code, we do not have any other manipulation on the view object, the only thing different in our case that I can think of is that this code is being called the 1st time from one page in the afterPhase method of a class that implements PagePhaseListener (on page load). I'm passing the page name to the View Object, and this invokation executes okay an returns the matching one record.
Then I navigate to another page (again in its page definition, its controller is using the same pagePhaseListener class), so when the code is executed the next time, I'm passing the new page name, but this invokation does not return any data, even though I'm sure the SQL and the page name parameter does return 1 row in SQLPlus.
Any thing special with executing the view object parameter binding when I navigate out and back to the page?

Is it possible to view your photos while on icloud, example: I can view my notes, calendar and even find my phone. I see that there is an option to manualy delyete the photostream pix as well as retrieve them when restoring your idevice. So, why is it that I cant view the pix?

PhotoStream is designed only for shunting photos taken on one device onto all the others. You can't actually view the photos at icloud.com.
The exception to this is any shared Photostream: these can, if you so choose, appear on a web page:

View Buffering not possible, Transport restricted

I have created a view when I am going to activate the view it is giving me warnings like
All fields are evaluated as key field
Key field KWMENG has num. type QUAN: Buffering not possible, Transport restricted
Key field KBMENG has num. type QUAN: Buffering not possible, Transport restricted
Key field NETPR has num. type CURR: Buffering not possible, Transport restricted
Key field KZWI1 has num. type CURR: Buffering not possible, Transport restricted
Because of these warnings I am not able to transport this view into production.
What might be the reason?

1)Goto RSA6 --Search for ur datasource
2)Click on the same and go to Change Mode
3)Goto the Extract Structure.
4)U can find four TABS there
5)Goto Currency/Quantity Fields.
In that TAB specify for that Obejct the Comp type ,data type,lenght and Decimal.

5900XT Dual View not possible!!

In the nview menu the only option i have is single display,
but i want to have cloned display on my desktop to TV but
it is not possible, WHY???
In single view i can choose between analog display and tv display
wihtout any problem.

abit is7 motherboard
p4 2.8 GHz
512 Mb ram
Windows XP pro (full update from windows update)
Tested with both the included drivers and newest drivers
from nvidia homepage.
