OWSM: How to encrypt payload and SOAP header?

Hi,
Anybody know how I can encrypt the payload and the SOAP header via OWSM? I can only find references on how to do it using SSL. The reason for using OWSM/WS-Security was to move away from using transport based encryption (SSL).

if you look at the topic :XML Encrypt
you will see you can encrypt every part of the xml
Encrypted Content
Part of the SOAP envelope to be encrypted. Valid values are: BODY, HEADERS, ENVELOPE, and XPATH. The default is BODY.

  • How to encrypt Payload in Composite BPEL 11g

    I'm trying to encrypt payload information like the ssn number or the cc number.
    I did create simple sync process assigned the input -- to -- output variable.
    Then created Properties for Input String
    Then create Properties Aliases for Input String
    The Added the encryptProperties property on the Composite.xml.
    But that doesnt seems be working.

    Hi Arun,
    In the sample code for encryption the namespace and xpath are hardcoded. Do you know how we can pass xpath dynamically from the soa process so that every process can use the same java code(so that no need to modify xpath in the java code for each and every process)?

    Hi,
    we are facing an issue with invoking a secured webservice.

    You need to attach the below policy in security section (Select your partnerlink in the references section of composite.xml and the click on "Configure WS policies")
    oracle/wss_username_token_client_policy
    if it is Secured Webservice, then attach this policy
    oracle/wss_username_token_over_ssl_client_policy
    After attaching policy, click edit and configure the key(out of box, u see one key csf-key) . This key should be setup with the required username and password that matches with the Webservice expected username and pwd.

  • How to get Payload of SOAP Message in Advance Adapter Engine

    HI All,
    I am wondering if anybody can tell me how to view the Payload of SOAP Sender and Receiver Message in Advance Adapter Engine?
    Does Anybody know how to check mapping payload in Advance Adapter Engine because in ABAP you can see the mapping payload under Request Message Mapping but when you use AAE you can't see the Request Message Mapping Payload.
    I have a SOAP to RFC Scenario in which I can't see the SOAP Sender and RFC Receiver Mapping Payload.
    When I am sending incorrect data to an RFC I am getting this error which is very strange and new to me.
    com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Unable to split a synchronous message
    Any comments would be much appreciated.

    HI All,
    I have managed to find Michal's Blog which is talking about getting the mapping payload but unfortunately I don't know how to create Adapter Module so I am wondering if somebody can please provide me EAR file so that I will request the Basis guys to deploy the code and hopefully this will solve my query.
    Michal's Blog
    As you all probably know while using local Advanced Adapter Engine (AAE) processing in SAP PI 7.1 the message is logged only once (during processing by sender adapter). This is great in terms of performance but what if we need to check the mapping output? Is there a way do do it somehow? It turns out that we don't have such an option in standard yet. Is there any alternative then?
    It turns out there is - a simplest adapter module there is...
    Local AAE works in such a way that from the sender adapter it executes the receiver adapter so in the outbound message to PI processing you can see the adapter info logs of the receiver adapter and this is what we can use. The idea is to add an adapter module to the receiver adapter which will put the content of the message into the audit log of PI message processing. We can do it by writing a few lines of code:
    PI/XI: target message logging with local AAE not possible ? not anymore...

  • How to use XHeaderName1 in SOAP header

    I have a scenario in which im passing the target URL of a webservice dynamically in my mapping udf.
    I have to pass the URL to the TServerLocation parameter in SOAP header. But the error i get is that the URL is too long for TServerLocation. So i have to split it and send it using XHeaderName1,XHeaderName2 and XHeaderName3.
    Can anyone tell me how to do this.
    i saw this blog which gives me some idea but still my scenario is not working

  • Jdev web service and SOAP header

    Hello,
    How can I implement a web service in jdev that extracts some elements from the SOAP header ?
    How can I implement a web service proxy in jdev so that it inserts elements in SOAP header?

    Hello,
    When using OracleAS/JDeveloper 10.1.3.x you are creating Web Service using the standard JAX-RPC API. This API uses the SOAP with Attachments API for Java (SAAJ) to manipulate SOAP messages.
    When dealing with SOAP Header, it is common usage to use the notion of "handler" to set/read header from the messages.
    The chapter "Using JAX-RPC Handler" is a good point to start to see how do deal with this requirement,
    When manipulating the header in the handler, the code will look like:
    SOAPHeader header = message.getSOAPHeader();
    Name headerName = soapFactory.createName("OurCredentials", "ns", "http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/");
    .. // add sub element
    SOAPHeaderElement headerElement = header.addHeaderElement(headerName);also..
    Could you specify the version of JDeveloper and the type of Web Service that you are using when ascking a question on the forum it help community member to provide a better answer.

  • Create XML with digital sign and SOAP header...

    Hi.
    With ABAP, I need create an XML file iwith SOAP envelope. The message has to be signed and the sign data saved in the ws-security part in the SOAP header. I have to sign the file with a X509v3 certificate in base64.
    Somebody can tell me how can create the SOAP header and sign it with ABAP for the XML.
    Thanks.

    Please refrain from implementing WS-Security yourself.
    NWAS ABAP 7.x provides support for WS-Security - in both roles, as Consumer and Provider.
    The right approach is to generate a proxy based on a given WSDL.
    What kind of (message-based) authentication is demanded by the WS Provider?

  • How to add new custom SOAP header when generate webservice?

    Hi
    When invoke an external webservice, SOA Gateway provide a method to add new customized SOAP Header, via extending seeded java function "WebServiceInvokerSubscription".
    And in case of generating a new webservice in EBS, is there some similar method to add new customized SOAP header in the webservice?
    Thanks
    James

    Look at your Payment Process Profile. THere should be a reporting subtab and within that subtab is a Separate Remittance Advice region. I believe that is where you specify the format for the remittance advice document (which is built in XML Publisher). Take a look at that.

  • How to add  variables in SOAP header before to call my Physical Service?

    In ODSI,
    I created a Physical Service for an external WebService (third part).
    In a logical Service (inside a XQuery Extension Function) i am calling the previous Physical Service. However, I need to add some variables in the SOAP Header Request before to call that Physical Service.
    Thanks

    Since your webservice accepts a SOAP Header, the wsdl for your webservice should describe that SOAP header (as well as the body). And when ODSI creates the physical data service from the wsdl, the read function will take two arguments - one is the SOAP header and the other is the SOAP body. All you need to do is populate the soap header and body.
    If your wsdl does not describe the soap header - fix it so that it does. If need be, make a copy of the wsdl, modify it to describe the soap header, save it in your DataSpace, and then (re)create the physical data service from the wsdl.

  • Split/Join, Invoke Service and SOAP Header in osb10.3 wls10.3

    Hi gurus,
    Are Split/Join able to invoke external services with a custom SOAP header?
    I have a split join to call 2 external business services in parallel. Those 2 external services requires a custom SOAP Header
    <soapenv:Header>
    <v1:ConsumerRequestHeader>
    <v1:requestSessionID>TEST_1</v1:requestSessionID>
    <v1:requestTimestamp>2011-06-16T16:57:54.943+02:00</v1:requestTimestamp>
    </v1:ConsumerRequestHeader>
    </soapenv:Header>
    All WSDLs were configured by the instructions of this link : http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13159_01/osb/docs10gr3/eclipsehelp/tasks.html#wp1150628, but in my debuging, the SOAP header is disappeared when calling those external services from the splitjoin. (No problem if designing and testing with the ProxyService. but Proxyservice is useless here because of parallel processing)
    When designing with OSB Workshop IDE, there is no way to pass the custom SOAP header to the "Invoke Service", only the body request/response message.
    My question is, Split/Join automatically uses its header to pass it into the invoke call ?
    Please advise...

    not the most fancy way, but you can create some sort of  wrapper proxyservice in front of your business service to make it work

  • Eclipse, Wsdl2Java and Soap Header

    Hi all.
    I'm developing the server side of a web service, whose wsdl was given to me by a third party.
    The wsdl defines several operations, and in each of them the input consists of a soap:header + a soap:body.
    Thus, in my implementation I have to deal with the soap:header, retrevieng the information carried inside.
    it's the first time I have to do that since I use Eclipse and its Wsdl2Java utility for skeleton code generation, and I can' t understand if this can be accomplished in this way.
    Infact, it seems to me that what eclipse generates is a skeleton by which it's not possible to "inspect-back" the soap:header, as it' already been parsed before (don't know where).
    So... the question is: can I develop my Web Service using eclipse (and probably changing something in the way I'm doing) or do I have to do it in another way?
    Any help will be very appreciated... thanks in advance!

    When invoking the wscompile tool use the option features:
    -features:wsi,explicitcontext
    for handling the soap:header.
    If you type: wscompile.sh -help you can get a listing of the options for the tool
