P16B Error : Entry pernr date VA does not exist in T5W/G

Hi
We are facing an error wherein we are not able to update the salary package details (FBP) using transaction P16B.
It throws an error saying "Entry <pernr> <date> VA does not exist in T5W/G" before the screen loads.
On debugging we found the error occurs in HR_SPA_VARIANT_GET function module where it checks for entry in the table T5W7G.
The entry in the above table is not getting created even if update using P16B_ADMIN.
The error is getting rectified if we manually create the entry in the table T5W7G and T5W7I for both VA and VB.
I am unable to find a configuration node for creating the entries in the table's T5W7G and T5W7I .
Please advice on how this error is to be rectified.

You have to either fix this in configuration through SPRO or If it is not solved through SPRO then you have search for an SAP note.

Standard Data Collection Failing with Error ORA-04054: database link does not exist.

Hi Gurus,
When I am running Standard Data Collection in ASCP(APS) instance R12.1.3, its failing with error : ORA-04054: database link does not exist.
There is no such Database link exits which is showing in above error.
Also the database link name in the above error is not profile values in the database.
I think, concurrent might be fetching this database link name from some tables related to plan.
I am not having much knowledge about how this ASCP/APS works.
Need your help to resolve this issue.

Error message FI 759: Fund does not exist in FM area

I have to make a distribution in CO-OM (tr KSV5) according to fund
But if I customize fund as sender, choose fund from the fund catalog and make a formal chek of cycle I see an error message FI 759: Fund does not exist in FM area. How can I make it go away?

Hi Irina,
As per the note 489315, you must choose a layout that contains the exact data for the active objects.
When planning for non-FM company codes you will have to change the profile/layout that only contain the elements that are active in the company code.
If you encounter error: KAFF002 while doing the above then please can you see if point 3 of note 555134 will help to by-pass the message.
Once you add the field Fund and set it to optional you should be able to use planning.
Note 555134:
3. The fields of the Funds Management are defined as 'Required entry
    fields' in the standard layouts, in other words depending on the
    permissibility of the initial value for a field an entry is always
    demanded. To prevent this there are two options:
    a) Copy the desired standard layout into an own (transaction KP65,
       KPG5, OPO1) and via "Extras -> Variables -> Variables definition'
       set the corresponding field to 'Optional". Then, add this layout
       to your planner profile with transaction KP34.
    b) Implement the attached program ZK555134 (correction instruction
       461025). After the entry of planning area and layout all fields
       of the Funds Management are set depending on your selection of
       'Optional' or 'Not optional' (standard system). Like this you can
       also change standard layouts. The check for the fields for which
       'initial' is not a valid value is still carried out.
If you want to use FUND Accounting, I suggest you to read note 518610 for your reference. This note contains information about FUND Accounting and its effect.
If you only want to use 'Fund' in Funds Management, you do not have to activate the 'Fund' account assignment element.
If you activated the FUND account assignment element, which is at CLIENT level activation, the fund would always have to be filled as a required entry field in CO, FI-AA and HR for all company codes in the client concern.
Please also refer to notes 625262 and 659086.
or re-import the standard planning layout from the client 000. In the note 320197 is descriped how to do this.

Call transaction NACE (type V1 for Sales Order) look for the required output type and check program and form in processing routines. (and add code markups when you copy source code in forums)

Error 1070023 Configured Disk volume does not exist.

I installed Essbase 11.1.1.2 in stand alone mode. When I am trying to start Sample.Basic, I am getting the below error
Error 1002097 Unable to load database Basic.
The App log showed the following error

Please help..

So everything works when the volume is set to E?
If so, you might be able to use DISKVOLUMES E in the essbase.cfg file which sets a default (for BSO cubes, at least), but you shouldn't have to do that.
The DISKVOLUMES documentation says that the volume that contains your ARBORPATH is the one used by default. Not completely sure I trust that it's up to date, and isn't now ESSBASEPATH or something else, but regardless, do those variable all look to be set correctly? To be honest, that's a longshot, as I'd be surprised if a missing / incorrect value there wouldn't cause bigger problems...

I have two SCCM environments under same active directory domain and one service account have been used for SCCM configurations on both the environments (QA and PRODUCTION). I am facing similar error as mentioned above while trying to fetch reports on
PRODUCTION site, but the QA site is working fine, though same service account have been used for configuring both. While looking at the reportserverservice_<date> log on my Production DB server i see the following error
"processing!ReportServer_0-3!2124!01/02/2015-09:09:30:: e ERROR: Throwing Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportProcessing.ProcessingAbortedException: , Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportProcessing.ProcessingAbortedException: An error has occurred during
report processing. ---> Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportProcessing.ReportProcessingException: Cannot read the next data row for the dataset DataSet1. ---> System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Conversion failed when converting the nvarchar value 'Override
Default' to data type int."
My DB and SCCM primary site are different and the reorting services point is installed on remote DB server. Please help me resolving the issue.
Troubleshooting performed:
1.Disabled the registry key 'EnableRbacReporting' from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SMS\SRSRP to 0 and then restarted SSRS service and the reporting worked for some minutes after that the registry key reverted back to 1 automatically and
reporting started throwing errors again.
2. Checked with the permissions on DB whether or not 'sysadmin' role is assigned to the SCCM service account.
3. re-registered the SQL management Provider WMI class.

Finally found exact solution to the reporting error.
Error: while launching SCCM reports (both from Console and web based) an unexpected error occured with error message as "The DefaultValue expression for the report parameter ‘UserTokenSIDs’ contains an error: A specified logon session does not exist.
It may already have been terminated. (rsRuntimeErrorInExpression)"
Solution: This is password replication issue for the domain account used to configure reporting services point in SCCM. If your SQL SSRS reporting services instance and databse runs with local default account whereas the reporting services point on SCCM
primary site is configured with domain account, (As in My case) you need to perform the following in order to get rid of the error.
Launch 'Reporting Services Configuration Manager' from the SQL SSRS box(either Local or Remote), Connect to Report Server Instance->Go to 'Execution Account' tab->Specify the 'Execution Account' as domain account and password which is used to configure
Reporting Services Point in SCCM Primary Site, and then click apply.
Now Lauch the report either way (Web based or from Console), the error will disappear and all your default reports will execute perfectly as before.

Trying to run a sample program from Richardson's book "Java JDK 5 Edition" Chapter 1.
In Netbeans 5.5 receive build error :package com.sun.javadoc does not exist
for "import com.sun.javadoc.*;"
Believe missing classes are in tools.jar in C:\Sun\SDKee5SDK\jdk\lib
How do I define this to Netbeans and/or JDK?
Using java_ee_sdk-5_01
and netbeans-5_5-windows downloads.
Platform is XP.
Netbeans has been updated to date.

Build Question: error 7 occurred at source does not exist

I have VIs built in LabVIEW 6.1. It works and built well. In LabVIEW
7, It works well. But when I try to build it. I got error.
I first use the mass conpile to compile VIs and then build the exe
with default settings. I got:
Error 7 occurred at source does not exist
Possible reason(s):
LabVIEW: File not found. The file might have been moved or deleted,
or the file path might be incorrectly formatted for the operating
system. For example, use \ as path separators on Windows, : on Mac OS,
and / on UNIX.
NI-488: Non-existent board.
But It does not point out which file does not exist.
Anyone can help me out?

but while activating the data source after the extract structure has successfully generated,

I am finding an error after taking the print out of Excise Invoice in Tcode J1IP.
We had a requirement where we created new output type and changed the driver program for the output assignment earlier this invoice was developed in script we changed it to a smartform. and assigned in NACE.
Its working fine we r getting the printout also after getting the print out when I goto tcode VF02 a error log is being created
when i click on the error log its showing

Zinvoice is the driver program.
I hope to get inputs from you in resolving the issue.

This error message is quite tricky and misleading one.
Make sure in your custom program, all the logic must be in a FORM-ENDFORM.
form entry.
Logic...
endform.
this form may have any name (not needed to be only ENTRY).
The signification of the form is that this name will be given in the subroutine name in NACE transaction.
the standard program RSNAST00 which triggers all the print program dynamically.
it will fetch the name of the print program and form name from TNAPR table and calls the same.
perform (TNAPR-RONAM) in (TNAPR-PROGNAME).
At run time, the TNAPR-RONAM and progname will be filled with your z program name and the subroutine name.

Entry point 'Test Batch' does not exist

I am in the process of upgrading one of our testsystems from TestStand version 3.1 to version 4.1.
The system is started up by a Labview app which calls TS by a command line call (-runEntryPoint "Test Batch" "C:\..."). However, TS 4.1 doesn't recognize the "Test Batch" entry point (worked fine in 3.1), and I get an error box with the message "entry point 'Test Batch' does not exist". I have checked that the entry point exist in the sequence model file, and if I go to the "Execute" menu, I get the choice to run "Test Batch".
I am able to se the -run command, but then I, for some reason, don't get the entire sequence.
Any suggestions to what I am doing wrong? I am logged in to TS automatically with my windows login.

Getting an error -ORA-20001: FLEX-ID DOES NOT EXIST in migrating Assignment

Hi,
I am working on migration of persons data (Person/Assignment ) etc. in Oracle HRMS. While migration of Assignments data I am getting an error: ORA-20001: FLEX-ID DOES NOT EXIST.
Please help me.

This error occurs as FLEX-ID for different combination for KFFs has not been generated. Therefore while migration your script is unable to fetch the Flex-id as they are not generated. You can work your way around by entering the possible combinations of KFFs for a single employee and eventually entering data for one employee manually.
eg. if for People Group Flexfield there are two segments A and B
A having LOV Corporate and Others
B having LOV Executive and Non Executive
Then you have to enter the possibilities from the frontend for one employee:
Corporate.Executive
Corporate.Non Executive
Others.Executive
Others.Non Executive

Error 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion

Windows 7 Pro laptop will not connect to corporate domain. Multiple identical twin laptops have no problem.
Best suggestion so far has been to leave the domain and rejoin it, BUT the relevant buttons are grayed out and the comment says "Note: The identification of the computer cannot be changed because:- The Workstation service is not running. Open the Services
snap-in (services.msc) to ensure it is running and set its Startup Type as "Automatic"."
In services.msc the Workstation service is already set to Automatic but is not started. When I try to start it manually the response is "Windows could not start the Workstation service on Local Computer." and then "Error 1075: The dependency service does
not exist or has been marked for deletion."
Rebooting gets me nowhere.
In all other respects that laptop appears fine and can connect to the Internet, but NOT to the network. I have brought it and a twin laptop home to try on my domestic network and get the same results.
Any ideas, please?
