Package works in emulator but does nothing on phone

Hi all,
I've written an app in Wireless Toolkit 2.1
I've chosen Target Platform JTWI which specifies a CLDC of 1.0 and an MIDP 2.0 profile. Checking my phone details at http://www.nokia.co.uk/nokia/0,,39193,00.html implies that these should work.
The app works fine in the emulator, but does absolutely nothing when I install it to my phone. I did the following:
Project -> Package -> Create Package
I then copied the .jad and .jar files to the phone over bluetooth. I then opened the message containing the .jar, and got an Installation dialog. I selected Install <appname> -> Continue and said yes to the messae about the application being untrusted. I then selected memory card as the destination, and eventually got the 'Installation Complete' message.
Now in the bottom of my applications menu, I have my application with an icon the shape of a puzzle piece. I've tried selecting that the way I normally do (click down on the joystick). Nothing happens. I then went Options -> Open, but nothing happens.
What have I missed and what else should I be testing ?

At our site we have two servers. On server B (master server) we enter all the user information such as create user,alter,
grant,revoke... etc. This data is entered into the master server and also inserted into a log table that is accessed, periodically, by our
second server, server A.
Server B is accessed by a PL/SQL package, executed at server A. It accesses server B through a database link and selects the
statements in the table at server B, and executes them on server A. It if encounters an error (user doesn't exist, role doesn't
exist,...etc) it makes an entry in a error_log table on server B, deletes that entry from the log table on server B, and continues with
the next statement. In Oracle 8.1.6.3, it works great. However, we have just migrated to Oracle 9.0.1.3 and now we can't get it
to work at all. It appears that the exception handler(s) is not working and falls through to the outer most exception handler which
states: when others then dbms_output.put_line ('Processing Aborted');
If anyone has any ideas on this subject, please let me know.

did you check to see what the Oracle error message was, using someting like this:
dbms_output.put_line(SubStr(SQLERRM, 1, 255)) ;

BIS doesn't work on 9360 but does on other phones!PLEASE HELP!

My brother gave me his Blackberry Curve 9360, with BIS still working. I added BIS to my mtn topup 50 as an extra, and BIS won’t work. It works on my curve 8520, but for some reason won’t work on the 9360. My brother was cell c, so I figured out if it wasn’t maybe that it was locked to cell c carrier, but it isn’t. I have wiped the phone a few times, even removed the OS and restored it, but BIS still doesn’t work. Please Help Me, I have been at mtn already and they don’t know what’s wrong!!!! Hi there Juan,
In some cases, the PIN is locked to the prior carrier for some time. It may resolve itself in a couple of days, or you may need to get your brother to call Cell C to have them release the PIN from their network. It should then be able to start working on MTN.

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

First off, I'm using Windows XP (and Mac SnowLeopard) Here's how it started. For some reason my ipod started showing up as a camera when I plugged it in. It works fine in itunes, though. But when I tried to access it from "my computer" it only
showed me the one and only picture I had on my ipod. I deleted that picture hoping it would no longer show up as a camera. When it still did I right-clicked on it in "my computer" and selected "properties". Under "autoplay" I
chose for it to 'not show up' or 'take no action' or some such deal when I plugged it in. I thought that would stop it from popping up the window that asks whether i want to 'open camera wizard' or 'open camera scanning' or 'open folder to view files' or 'take
no action' , etc. But now it won't show up in "my computer" at all. I also have a Mac with SnowLeopard. When I plugged my ipod into it my ipod doesn't show up in "finder" either! So basically my problem is not a mechanical one with hardware
or software; yht ipod still works fine in itunes. I just need to undo the change I made. I've searched all around my preferences, utilities, options, etc. It shows up on my "Device Manager" but not on "Disk Management".

To show up in Windows Explorer, you can try placing the iPod into
disk mode.
Moreover, i recommend you to
restore ipod to factory settings.
If this issue still persists, locate to device manager, uninstall and reinstall USB Mass Storage Device driver.

My HP Deskjet 3050A J611 series wont print, says its printing on the screen, but does nothing.

it has nothing to do with the connection, because even if i try to print a test page from the printer itself (not using my laptop) it still wont print. it says "printing" on the screen, but does nothing. and the green light on the power button blinks the whole time... please please help, its super frustrating, ive un-installed, re-installed, plugged it in, un plugged it, plugged the usb cord in before i realized it wasnt a connection problem, taken the ink out.. i dont know what else to do... again, its not a connection problem.. i tried to go into the settings on the printer itself and clicked printer status or something liek that and it attempted to print out a report, but nothing prints... again, the screen says "printing . . . " w/ the moving dots for hours... what could this be?? ive searched online and cant find anything that sounds liek this.. seems like everyone has connection probelms... but i need help!

This sounds like it may be a firmware problem. The first thing to do is check to see if there are any available firmware update. I'll include a link to those instructions below. Next, make sure the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet. Plugging the printer into a surge protector, power strip, or power backup can cause it to become under powered resulting in strange problems like this one. If the firmware is up to date and plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet doesn't help, follow the steps in the document below. If that doesn't help, you will need to replace the printer. Hope this helps.

Thanks for posting your example. You may want to remove your workspace details from the previous posting, or at least update the password on the workspace. I've taken a look at your example and initially couldn't see anything wrong with your tree query. However, when I ran your query in SQL Workshop, it only returned one row, which would explain why you were only seeing one node in your tree! I've updated your query to use a WITH clause, and the tree is now working correctly. I believe you've hit an underlying database bug where the CONNECT BY query is only returning 1 row, when in fact it should return > 1 row. By re-writing the query to use a WITH clause, you can get around the problem.

All you can do is try restoring the device. If you are unable to you'll most likely have to get the iPod repaired.

How old are the various devices? It could be possible for you to have configured a very new AirPort Extreme in a way that older iPhones and iPads could not access. For example, could you have set up the Extreme to use only 801.11n and 5GHz?
