Page Numbering for the aging report

Hi,
Does any one know how I can achieve the following:
For the customer ageing report we need to print all customer statements at once. On our print layout we currently use the following CurrentPage()/TotalPages() formula fields to dispaly the page number. The result we get is 1/10, 2/10, 3/10....etc.
We actually need the following, for total 10 pages statement would like to display the page number as follows:
Customer A: 1/1
Customer B: 1/3, 2/3, 3/3
Customer C: 1/1
Customer D: 1/5, 2/5, 3/5, 4/5, 5/5
Does anyone know how to achieve the above for continuous print?
Your assistance in this matter is highly appreciated.
BR,
Jimmy

Hi,
You are trying to print the detailed aging report. Right?
It seems that there is no way of "splitting" the page numbers within a collection report.
The system could not count the pages for EACH customer. The total number per pages will be per whole document, and cannot be per business partner within the same document when using the formula currentpage().

  • Page Numbering for the Clueless N00b -- FrameMaker 7

    Hey gang,
I've got a fairly simple FrameMaker 7 document (one file, 94 pages) that requires page numbers to follow the Chapter No. - Page No. format (e.g., 3-2).    Two issues occur: 1) the chapter number stays at 1, and 2) the page number increments by one when I need it to restart after every new chapter.
My paragraph tags are like this:
    ChapterTitle
    Heading1
    Heading2, etc.
I think I've identified a disconnect: the heading numbering is as follows (thanks to Deborah Snavely for explaining the matrix approach):
    <n+>< =0>< =0>< =0>< =0>< >< >\t
where n+ is the heading number, followed by four subheadings.  The last two bracket sets are for figures and tables, respectively.  I set the page numbering in the master pages as follows: <$chapnum>-<$curpagenum>.  Chapter/paragraph numbering works as advertised, as do figure and table numbers.  How do I change the page number variables to match the chapter number and restart the page numbering?
    Regards,
    -terry-

You need to set the appropriate numbering behaviours in the book file for each of the chapter files.
Highlight a file in the book file.
Right-click to get the context menu.
    Select Numbering...
Set the Chapter and Page numbering tabs to behave as required.

  • How to get the page numbers in the PrintAdvance Data grid without using Vbox/Vgroup header or footer

    hi
I want to print the page numbers for the data in Advance Data grid, For printing I am using print advance data grid , but unable to print the page numbers with that.
actually i tried with Vbox/Vgroup, but when tha data is more because of this it is strucking, and more over imageRenderer in the PrintAdvancedataGrid not printing.
can any one help in this regard?

Image Caches hold images you've already loaded so the next time you request them, they can be made available without network latency.  This assume for your DG, that all images you need to print have been loaded by, for example, whatever DG the user was looking at before hitting Print.  This is easy when there are only a few icons used to show status, but won't work if each row has a different image unless you've somehow loaded up all of those images beforehand.
Spark BitmapImage has an Image cache, but some third party ones are discussed here:

  • Printing page numbers in an ALV report with multiple grids

    Hi,
I have developed a report using OO ALV GRID. The output is having multiple grids navigated using a menu button appended to the standard tool bar
(Ref report: BCALV_GRID_07). On navigation, we are able to display specific titles when each grid is displayed.
When we print those individual pages (the grids), we are able to print the page numbers and the title for the first grid but when we display the next grid and print, we are unable to initialise the page number
and print specific title. The page numbers continues from the last printing.
I am looking at identifying the grid when the print event - PRINT_TOP_OF_PAGE is triggered so that a grid specific title can be printed and also page number initialised.
    Any suggestions is highly appreciated.
    Thanks.
    Mani.

You cannot have one event for all the grids as you cannot identify for which grid the event has fired. You need to activate the event for each of the grid and handle the code independently.
    regards,
    Ravi

  • How to know the total page number of the standard report

How to know the total page number of the standard report?
If I insert a graph, a table, or text into the end of the standard report, how to know how much space is left for the current page?

    Hello Net,
Unfortunately, we do not have any VIs in LabVIEW that can figure out the number of pages of a standard report. However, with the use of ActiveX calls you can achieve this task. Here are a couple of discussion forums which discuss this:
    Excel Page Numbering with ActiveX:
    http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=194479&requireLogin=False
    Number Pages in Word Report:

There is also great documentation on using ActiveX on msdn. You can search this document for page number objects. Here is a link to this:

  • Reset Page Numbers for each group with XMLP 4.5

I am currently working on the invoice report rtf template using XMLP 4.5
We cannot upgrade to new version at this stage.
Our requirement is, i want to reset the page numbers for each invoice. I know that it can be achieved using @section. I think this will work only XMLP 5.0 and after. Is there any other way to achive this requirement?
Our reports are moving to production in another 3 days.
I would be thankful If anybody can provide me the solution for this problem?
    Thanks
    Babu

    Hi Tim
Thank you very much for your suggestion. We have upgraded to latest version of XML and now i am using @section to reset the page numbers for each invoice. This is working fine. But i have stucked to print the invoice copes for which page numbers should be reset.
As per the client requirement i need to generate the invoice report with 3 more copies where COPY word will be there for duplicate invoice copies.
I have written the rtf template logic like below:
    ex: <?for-each@section:G_INVOICE?>
    Invoice Information
Invoice first copy information with COPY word (just copy the above original invoice layout and pasted)
    Invoice second copy information
    Invoice third copy information
    <?end for-each?>
This is working fine. But client is demanding that all the invoice copies page numbers should start with 1. I tried by giving the @section for each invoice copy. But it was not working. Is there anyway to reset the page numbers for each invoice copy (anyway orginal invoice page numbers are resetting becuase i have used @section). It would be great help for me by providing the solution for my problem.
    Thanks

  • Can not get correct page numbering for sections

I have created a RTF template for a report that is Burst by USERID and then on the template I have the DeptID as the section for the report. When I run the report I get page numbering by DeptID - so if 1 department has 2 pages I see page 1 of 2, 2 of 2, then the page numbering starts over for the next department. I actually want the report to show a total number of pages for the entire report in the header. Any ideas on how I can accomplish this? Thanks!

Vetri changed the template to have the body start prior to rows that I wanted repeated on all pages and then copied the repeated rows on the second page. This allowed for my page break between departments to happen and the page numbering in the heading also included the total number of pages not the total pages for each department.

  • Page navigation in Acrobat does not match page numbers in the document

I have a document in both Framemaker format (server.book) and PDF (server.pdf).  When I view the pdf file in Adobe Acrobat, the page numbers appear correctly on the document itself, but up in the Page Navigation window within Acrobat the pages number doesn't match.
In the beginning of the book I have Title page, a Table of Contents, and a Preface that all use lower-case roman numerals.  However, when viewing this document via Acrobat, the Title pages show up as i, and ii, but then the Table of Contents and Preface show up as pages 1 - 8 instead of iii - x in the page navigation window.
I can't figure where this discrepancy is originating.
    Please help.

Acrobat has no way to know which bit of character string on each page is the page number.
The visible page number has never formed any part of Reader nav. as you point out, it couldn't.
Acrobat knows the Numbering Properties of the pages as created in Frame. It just doesn't display or honor them consistently, depending on Reader version.
I also use i, ii, iii, iv for pre-narrative material. The romans are displayed in the page number box of Acroread (this is AR7 on Unix). I can enter "ii" in the box, and go to that page. But the Print dialog is Ordinal only. Printing page ranges in AR7 is always off by 2 or 4 relative to the actual page numbers.
Acrobat Pro 9 (9.4.5, Win7-64) seems to be more consistent, and does show and accept real page numbers for Print.

  • SAP Query for AR Aging Report

    Hello Gurus-
I am trying to build a query for Aging report, and would like to include something like this:
    Customer-Reference-Payment terms-Due date-Current-31-60days-61-90days-91-120days-over120days-toatal amount.
I have an infoset which includes BSID, KNA1, KNB1. I have maintained local fields:
Due Date  =     Baseline date + cash discount days
Statement Date = My input date.
Current    = Condition (DUEDTE >= STATDTE - 30) formula (Amount)
    31 - 60 Days = Condition (DUEDTE >= STATDTE - 60 AND DUEDTE < STATDTE - 30) formula (Amount)
    61 - 90 Days = similar to above
    91 - 120 Days = similar to above
Amount  = - 1 * (If Debit credit indicator = "H" then "Amount in local currency") otherwise "Amt in Loc.Cur"
Over 120 Days = similar to above
When I enter a statement date of today it works hunky dory...it all looks good...my current column looks good and do the rest. When i want to run this query as of couple of months ago (if today is 12/19/08 and i wanted to run my aging report for 10/31/08) it should give me aging as of my statement date 10/31/08 but it does not. It calculates the total amount as of today. I know because of local field "Amount" where i gave amount in local currency, but how would I tell that it should pick up amount in local currency till the statement date?
Any input in this regards is highly helpful.
    Thanks,
    RNarayan

    Hi Ram,
On your aging report you want to see invoices which are still not paid (or still open) as of a certain date. This date is "key date". You need to define a variable for key date (which is normally system date if you run today) but it could be a past date.
So key date is let us say Oct 31st (X) and the system date is Dec 19th. When you run the report as of Oct 31st all invoices that are posted prior to Oct 31st (posting date less than X) and are still in BSID will show on your report. There is no issue here.
Let us say an invoice was created on Oct 25th (Y) and was paid on Nov 15th (Z). The clearing date is Z. That means if you run the aging report today this invoice will not show.
But you want to run the report on Oct 31st. This means X is greater than Y but is less than Z.
Clearing date and posting date are part of BSAD. Report run date is the user input and is a variable.
With the above concept and with the help of an ABAP programmer you should be able to solve the problem.
    Regards
    Sharabh

  • AR - Customer Statement - differences when compared with the Aging report

I am running the customer statement (the Print Statement program) 'as of date' say 11-Jun-09, and found that the 'Total Amount Due' for a customer is not agreeing back to the balance displayed on the Aging Screen (Navigation: Collections -> Customer Accounts [Aging butto]) for the customer.
The 'Total Amount Due' on the statement is greater than the balance on the aging report/screen.
It appears that the statement is selecting more receivables transactions (invoices, credit note, payments etc...) than the aging report is looking at. Also the aging buckets on the statement does not tie back to that on the aging screen /report for example the '4 Bucket Aging Report'.
    My questions are:
1, Is it possible for the 'Total Amout Due' on the statement to differ from the balance on the aging report/screen?
2, What factors or reasons might cause the above senario to occur?
3, How can one start to investigate this in order to account for such differences?
Ideally what I would like to do is run a sql script that will show what is being selected for the statement 'as of' a particular date for a customer, and another sql that will show the same customer account balance and aging buckets at the same 'as of' date.
And perhaps another sql that would show the same customer open receivable transactions.
    Thanks.

    Hello.
This query will show you the customer open receivable transactions:
    select c.customer_name,
decode(ps.class, 'PMT', 'Payment', 'INV', 'Invoice', 'DM', 'Debit Memo', 'CM', 'Credit Memo') Type,
    ps.trx_number,
    ps.trx_date "Inv Date",
    ps.due_date "Due Date",
    ps.acctd_amount_due_remaining "Amount Remaining"
    from ar_payment_schedules_all ps,
    ra_customers c
    where c.customer_id = ps.customer_id
    and ps.status = 'OP'
    and ps.org_id = &orgID
    and c.customer_number = &CustNumber

  • Crystal 6.0 : How to hide the Page footer and Page Header of the Main Report on the Sub report.

    Post Author: pranay
    CA Forum: Crystal Reports
    Hi ,
I have a Main report and a Sub report .  When a subreport spans across multiple pages , the page header and page footer of the main report gets displayed along with it . I want to hide the Page Footer and Page Header of the main report when a sub report is displayed . Is there any way it could be acheived in Crystal Report 6.0.

I am assuming you are talking about the JSControl dropdown menu navigation. The easiest way to hide Community pages is to disable the Below Banner View for that navigation scheme, although it also disables the Subcommunties, Related Communities and Go up to Parent Community links. If you still want these in below the banner menu you could not display Community Pages in the "In this Community" tab and only leave the "Community Members and Knowledge Directly" link in there.
You would think that it would be better to remove the "In this Community" tab althogether but it is tricky to remove it due to the fact that there needs to be a default horizontal menu displayed all the time. Not all Communities will have a Subcommunities or Related Communities tab so these communities would not display any below banner menus at all if there is no "In this Community" tab, which could be confusing.

    Consider using this site: http://www.stolenlostfound.org/
This is Apple's official word on the subject:
Reporting a lost or stolen Apple product
If you have lost or found an Apple product, please contact your local law enforcement agency to report it. Although Apple does not have a process to track or flag lost or stolen product, you can use My Support Profile to find a list of serial numbers for items purchased or registered with your Apple ID.

  • Problem in Logic for Customer Ageing Report

    Hi,
I am developing a Customer Ageing Report in which i am facing a problem i.e. i am taking tables BSID,BSAD in which i ham taking the open items first and then i am using for all entries in it on the open items and i had debugged it and data picking is correct .
But the MAJOR problem comes when the data is stored in the respective coloumns i.e. 0-30 ,31-60-61-90 etc.. Currently i am comparing the code with the Standard Report i.e.S_ALR_87012126 it is not coming accurate...
Is there any way to solve this problem ....

    Hi,
First you need to calculate the Due date of the Transaction with the help of FM 'NET_DUE_DATE_GET'.
Once you get the Due date calculate the value wf_nod  as wf_nod = p_budat - wf_due_date where p_budat is the date on which you want to run the ageing report and wf_due_date  is due date of the transaction.
once you get this wf_nod write the following logic :
          IF wf_nod < 0.
            wa_tab-ndue = wa_data-dmbtr.
          ELSE.
            IF wf_nod <= pnod1.
              wa_tab-amt1 = wa_data-dmbtr.
            ELSE.
              IF wf_nod > pnod1 AND wf_nod <= pnod2.
                wa_tab-amt2 = wa_data-dmbtr.
              ELSE.
                IF wf_nod > pnod2 AND wf_nod <= pnod3.
                  wa_tab-amt3 = wa_data-dmbtr.
                ELSE.
                  IF wf_nod > pnod3 AND wf_nod <= pnod4.
                    wa_tab-amt4 = wa_data-dmbtr.
                  ELSE.
                    IF wf_nod > pnod4 AND wf_nod <= pnod5.
                      wa_tab-amt5 = wa_data-dmbtr.
                    ELSE.
                      IF wf_nod > pnod5.
                        wa_tab-amt6 = wa_data-dmbtr.
                      ENDIF.
                    ENDIF.
                  ENDIF.
                ENDIF.
              ENDIF.
            ENDIF.
          ENDIF.
        ENDIF.
    Collect wa_tab into it_tab.
where pnod1.......pnod5 are the aging period as 30,60,90,180,365 etc.
by this you will get correct results.
Please get back to me if you need some more help on this.

  • Adjusting page numbering in the Table of Contents

I have a question regarding adjusting page numbering in the table of contents. I have manually adjusted my page numbering to start at page 3, which is now called page 1. But my table of contents still show this page as page 3, while I want it to be shown as page 1.
    How do I do this?
I tried to find an answer somewhere on this forum, but I couldn't find one. Neither could I find a solution in the help file.
I hope you understand my question. I also included the document, which might be of help. Thank you!

This answer assumes that your document uses the Default page style for physical pages 1-3. You are going to need two different page styles to accomplish what you want. (I'm guessing you have used a page number offset of -2 to get your physical page 3 numbered as 1 and this simply will not work in the TOC.)
Put your cursor in the Title page (physical page 1) and open the Stylist (F11). Click the Page icon (4th from left) then click the New Style From Selection icon (2nd from right). Give it a name like 'Body'. Before you close the Stylist double click on Default just to make sure you did not change the style of the 1st page.
While you are still on the 1st page click into the footer and remove the page number field assuming you do not want it.
Put you cursor in the FIRST (1st) paragraph of the 3rd page and do **Format > Paragraph > Text Flow tab. In the Breaks section, check the Enable box, if not already checked, then check the With Page Style box, select the Body style from the drop down menu and set the page number to 1.
If the page number field is still in the footer on this page then delete it and insert it again. It should now show 1.
Click into the TOC, right click and select Update Index/Table.
Just in case you have trouble translating this to your version of SO I have fixed your document and have attached it.
    * *To change to a new page style while writing your document do Insert > Manual Break > Page Break and select the new style. If you want a new page number you can check that box and set the new number.
