Pages is missing from my apps on my ISAC.  I have reloaded the original disc, but nothing happens.  My version is 10.6.8s

Pages is missing from apps on my IMAC version 10.6.8.  I reloaded the apps disc I received with the computer, however, it still isn't in apps.  I tried to download the Pages app from the store, however, it isn't compatible with my IMAC.  Any ideas?

Some confusion here perhaps? The grey applications disc (disc 2) contains iLife, not iWork. iWork is a seperate DVD which you would have had to buy.
It's possible that the current versions of iWork applications available from Apple may not be compatible with Snow Leopard. There have been changes to introduce the Versions abonimation in place of 'save as' for instance.
If so, you need to seek a DVD of iWork '09, which will now only be available from third-party vendors and will be getting increasingly scarce.
