Pages Merging from Multiple Numbers Tables

I'm trying to merge data into a Pages document from a Numbers document.
My Numbers document has 2 tables.
When I select a location in my Pages document where I want some data from Numbers to appear, and then select the Link button in the Pages Inspector, and then select Choose, and then select Numbers Document in the "Select Mail Merge Source" window, only 1 of the 2 Tables inside Numbers is offered as a choice from which to merge data from Numbers.
What do I have to do so that in the "Select Mail Merge Source" window, both Tables appear as choices from which to pull data?

    The User Guide is clear: we may merge from ONE Numbers table.
    Reorganize your datas so that they are available to the merge process from the first table of the first sheet of the used document.
    External references are your friends to do that.

    Your question is not very descriptive of what you are trying to do. You might get better assistance if you provided a bit more information. I think even I, as an AppleScript novice, could write an AppleScript that would "extract entries from a Numbers table" and write them to a Pages document but I'm sure you have more in mind than that simple action.

    One option would be to go as mentioned by Padamja , prefxing the table name to the column name or another would be to use the AS keyoword in your SQL statement.
    AS is used to rename the column name when data is being selected from your DB.
    So, the query  Select ename as empname from emptable will return the data with column name as empname.

    Lets say the BAPI name is BAPI_XX_GETLIST and the table names are ET_TABLE1(Field1, Field2, Field3)  and ET_TABLE2 (FieldA, FieldB). You have display the fields of ET_TABLE1 (Field1, Field2, Field3) and one field from ET_TABLE2 (FieldB). "FieldA" id the key field.
    Create a value node (vnField) under the model node table ET_TABLE1 with cardinality 1:1. Create a value attribute (vaFieldB). For "vnField" create a supply function (supplyfunction). If you goto the implementation you can see a method "supplyVnField(IPrivateCO_ComponentName.IVnFieldNode node, IPrivateCO_ComponentName.IET_Table1Element parentElement)".
    Write the following code in the implementation.
    IPrivateCO_ComponentName.IVnFieldNode nodeX = node.createValueFieldElement();
    for(int i=0;i<wdContext.nodeET_Table2().size();i++){

    You are interested in XMLElement and probably XMLAgg. Since you didn't list a version, I can't provide links to the corresponding documentation. I cringe at all the attributes on the Patient element as that info should really be elements.
    To create the Measure node, your overall SQL statement may look something like (not tested)

    I'm having existing oracle db with daily stat data, tables strangely named data_mon, data_tue, data_wed.. For my batch processing I plan to use view with multiple day data, let say for last 5 days.
    Not sure how better implement my sql statement, with those _mon suffixes to make it more or less dynamic.
    I also never create View from multiple tables, so probably I can do something that will add fresh daily data and delete 5 days old data?
    Will appreciate you comments on details and whole concept. I have prev sql server experience.

    TChange the data model so you don't have 1 table for a day.
    You just have a DATA table, and a column to denote the day of applicability.
    Then you don't need a view, don't need anything dynamic, don't need to smash your head against a wall for a simple query ... etc.

    Is there a tool (in XDK maybe?) that will allow me to map my relational tables to a specific DTD?
    I could build the XML manually, but I was hoping that Oracle has already solved this problem with an automated tool.

    If there are columns with the same name in both tables, you must distinguish between them by prefixing the field descriptor with the table name or a table alias.

    There is no single function to do what you want.  Here is a way you can achive your goal:

    you can sum cell by using the sum() function.
    you can sum a row:
    =sum(1:1)
    will sum ALL cells in row 1
    you can sum a column:
    =sum(C)
    will sum all cells in column C
    you can sum a list of cells:
    =sum(A1, C5, E76, B1:5)
    will add together cells A1, C5, E76, B1, B2, B3, B4, and B5

    Although I would have preferred to have a script beacuse the data origin file - let's call it STORAGE - is already quite heavy and I would like to use the filtered data on a separate file - let's call it MANAGEMENT - for further analysis and integration with other data coming from other STORAGE files and from other company areas.

    Below is a script that should do what you want. (Tested in Numbers 3.2). Copy into AppleScript Editor, set up the Numbers documents as indicated (or change the script to match your document setup), and click the green triangle 'Run' button.
    It assumes you have both the source document ("Storage.numbers") and target document ("Management.numbers") open and that you have already set up the target table with 1 header row.  You can change your filter columns and values and filter logic where indicated.
    For simplicity (and also to avoid apparent Numbers bugs in removing rows via AppleScript) I assumed the user will manually check to make sure that the target table does not contain too many rows. It needs at least 2 rows to work properly as the results are inserted starting in cell A2 (which can be changed as needed).

    We're using the SAP Data Source to display SAP data in our portal from the Bapi: BAPI_INFORECORD_GETLIST. When defining the Bapi Meta Data we can select data from one of the two output tables (INFORECORD_GENERAL and INFORECORD_PURCHORG). But we want to select data from both tables (some columns we want to show are in INFORECORD_GENERAL and some are in INFORECORD_PURCHORG) .
    How can we do this ?

    You can query multiple TimesTen databases, but your original question was about joining tables from two databases, which is not supported.
    Using Cache Connect to Oracle to query an Oracle database is not distributed. It's still one single Oracle database you are querying. You cannot join a table in the TimesTen database with a table in the Oracle database, this is not allowed.

    3 Find out Old Material code of each and every material from Material master.
    4 Find out Material description for each and every material from MAKT.
    5 Sort record on Vendor, Purchase Order number and Material.
    I have defined seperate internal tables for these operation.
    Once i have fetched records into these individual internal tables  from the corresponding DB tables i need to move these values into a new internal tables which has all the above fields mentioned
    I need to move these values into a new internal table because to display the values on the report.
    Any idea for the above ? Plz help with a sample example or some relevant.

    3 Find out Old Material code of each and every material from Material master.
    Use ITAB1 with for allentries in MARA table to get the onl materil number populate in to one table.
    4 Find out Material description for each and every material from MAKT.
    Get the Material desc with the same manner as above,
    5 Sort record on Vendor, Purchase Order number and Material.
    now sort the ITAB1 as you req.
    now Loop on the ITAB1.
    and read above 2 tables for old matnr and matner deac and append into another table as you want.

    I have some doubts regarding selecting data by joining 2 or 3 tables and populate the target table in same schema(ora 10g).The way i need to load is first extract the data and do some some transformations(like derive new value based on existing column value ,eg: arithmetic operations) and then load data to target table in same schema...
    GIve me a suggestion to do the same in best possible way..since the entire activity to be finished in 3 hrs and volume in each table is 377 million , 122 million and 120 million.

    You mean "you" and not "u"? This is not a MXIT forum where IM SPEAK is the norm.
    As for time-lines.. it is silly to expect anyone to give you estimated run times when the hardware platform, types of disks, o/s configuration, Oracle configuration, average loads and so on are unknown.
    What Rob showed you is the most optimal way to write SQL to transform data from one or more source tables and insert these results into a destination table - using direct path inserts and parallel query. The only faster method would be a CTAS - Create Table As Select as oppose to an Insert Table with select.
