Paid Invoices - Status showing as 'Open'

Hi Experts,
Have you had a situation in SBO 05 where the an invoice has been paid but the status shows Open? This is a very weird problem I am having. The BP's recon does not pick up these 'Open' Invoices at all, and the BP's balance is correct!
These 'Open' invoices have not been converted to any other documents according to the system, and I can pinpoint exactly how they where reconciled.
Any advice will be highly appreciated.
Regards,
Lebo

Hi,
Can you please clarify whether the Payment is Payment on Account? Has the Payment been linked to the Invoice?
Also, if you could provide the details of the version and patch of SAP you are using.

  • Paid Invoices are showing up in MRBR report

    Hi all,
There are some 'R' Block and 'B' block invoices which are already paid by releasing them at the time of payment instead of releasing them in MRBR. But they are still showing up in MRBR report (Release blocked invoices). If an invoice is paid should they not automatically go away from MRBR?
    Any input is highly appreciated!!
    Thanks,
    Avani.

    Hi
R Block invoices should be released only through MRBR and then only invoice to be processed for payment. If it is done manually, MRBR will not automatically cleared, because as per system, that particular invoice has not complied with the settings maintained. Releasing the R block manually should not be encouraged from the client point of view.

  • How to get Invoice status value in oracle payable

    Hi guys,
I am new in oracle apps plz tell me how to get invoice status value of prepayment invoice type in payable.
Navigation ->Payables->Oracle Payables ->Invoices->Inquiry->Invoices ->go to Invoice status block and open to Status LOV
plz provide me sql query to find those status lov values and accounted values for any supplier & invoice num.
    it's urgent plz .......................
    Thanks guys.......

The invoice approval status does not come from any table / lookup.
Instead, Oracle builds it by calling the ap_invoices_pkg.get_approval_status function.
You can also call it by passing invoice_id, payment_status_flag and invoice_type_lookup_code.
All these 4 columns are present on the ap_invoices_all record.
    Hope this helps

VERY URGENT , POINTS TO BE REWARDED FULLY

    Dear chakri
Go to OBA7, select document type RV and see whether S1 is maintained for the field "Reverse Document Type".  Similarly again select S1 document type and check whether the same document type ie.S1 is maintained in "Reverse Document Type".
Unless you maintain these datas, you will face problem.

  • Incorrect status in FM report for paid invoices

    hello,
I'm working in ECC 6.0 with Former budgeting.
I have several invoices which are created in 2008 but paid in 2009 or in 2010. There are then different fiscal year impacted.
When the invoices are paid, they don't have the value type Payment  - Amount type Paid in FM report (FMRP_RFFMEP1AX - All Postings). The invoices still have the status Invoices Original.
As the invoices dont have the status Paid, they are carryforwarded to the next year.
    How can I correct that?
When I use the transaction FMF0, the invoices are updated with the current year (2011) in FM report.
    And this is not correct.
Is there any customizing to avoid the incorrect status of paid invoices in FM report?
    Thank you for your help,
    Kind regards,
    Chiachen

    Hello Chiachen
Please, check your settings in t-code OF29: do you have the flag 'Deactivate check on fiscal year change' On? if you have this flag marked, this could be a reason why you are facing this issue.
You can find good information in the F1 help of such field.
In addition, please review note[400924 Recommendations and rules for the payment transfer in FM|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/400924]

  • Item AR Invoice Status: "Open - Printed"

    Hi
    I upgraded SAP B1 8.81 PL07.
In new verson, i have a problem in AR Invoice
In case of Service Invoice: Status: "Open", which is correct.
In case of Item Invoice, Status: "Open - Printed"
even i did not print that document.
Is it bug in new verson?
    Nilesh Shah

    Hi,
Check whether the document you are talking about which has the 'Open-Printed' status is using the Manual numbering series.
If yes, then you can check this Note. Note No. : [1577486|https://b1-support.wdf.sap.corp/sap/support/notes/1577486]

  • Some AR Invoice status are Closed but some AR invoice status are Open-Print

    Hi,
I have seen some AR Invoice status are Closed but some AR invoice status are Open-Printed.
There are any reason for this.
    Regards,
    Mzian

Hello Mizan - if you add an AR Invoice and it immediately and automatically goes to "closed" status, then you have a big system problem on your hands.  There is no way SAP B1 should automatically close an AR Invoice unless someone has done a manual reconciliation or has created an AR Credit Memo or has made a payment or has closed/cancelled the AR Invoice manually.
Call your SAP Partner or SAP Support immediately!!!

  • Pulling open invoices, and paid invoices with details (Query Help).

    Hello All,
I am sure I messed something up in my joins. I am looking to pull a report of all invoices OINV for a month, then list details of any payment (if it is paid) next to it from RCT2. It is giving me a list of all of the paid invoices, but even though I have a LEFT JOIN it is not listing any of the invoices without payments.
This is where I am now from the report wizard in Crystal.
    SELECT "OINV"."DocNum", "OINV"."SlpCode", "OINV"."CardCode", "OINV"."DocTotal", "OINV"."U_Commission", "OSLP"."SlpName", "RCT2"."DcntSum", "ORCT"."TaxDate", "OINV"."DocEntry", "OINV"."TotalExpns", "OINV"."CANCELED", "ORCT"."Canceled", "ORCT"."DocNum", "RCT2"."InvType"
FROM   ("DBName"."dbo"."OINV" "OINV" LEFT OUTER JOIN "DBName"."dbo"."OSLP" "OSLP" ON "OINV"."SlpCode"="OSLP"."SlpCode")
INNER JOIN ("DBName"."dbo"."ORCT" "ORCT" INNER JOIN "DBName"."dbo"."RCT2" "RCT2" ON "ORCT"."DocNum"="RCT2"."DocNum")
    ON "OINV"."DocEntry"="RCT2"."DocEntry"
    WHERE  "OINV"."CANCELED"='N' AND "ORCT"."Canceled"='N' AND "RCT2"."InvType"<=N'14'
    ORDER BY "OINV"."SlpCode", "ORCT"."DocNum", "ORCT"."TaxDate"
Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

    Hello Kiran,
I thought about that, but my purposes for running the report is to determine commission based on the date that the invoice was paid, I need the TaxDate in ORCT as it relates to the payment in RCT2.
Removing the ORCT.cancelled condition and the RCT2.invtype conditions now pulls all of the invoices, paid and unpaid. I know now I cant have them in my query, when the record does not exist in ORCT it doesnt have a value for cancelled, and when there is no record in RCT2 there is no invtype, and is filtered.
Maybe I can say where ORCT.Canelled = 'N' OR ORCT.Cancelled = NULL, but I dont know if that would work.

  • Open Orders Query showing all open AP Orders

    Hi All,
I wish to generate a report that shows all open AP Purchase Orders as well as all orders that are partially inviced.
I have been using the following query but it is not giving me complete results:
    SELECT
    T1.[DocNum] AS 'PO NUMBER',
    T1.[DocDate] AS 'POSTING DATE',
    T1.[DocDueDate] AS 'DUE DATE',
    T1.[TaxDate] AS 'DOC DATE',
    T1.[Comments] AS 'REMARKS',
    T1.[CardCode] AS 'CUSTOMER/VENDOR CODE',
    T1.[CardName] AS 'CUSTOMER/VENDOR NAME',
    T0.[LineTotal] AS 'LINE TOTAL',
    T0.[OcrCode] AS 'PROFIT CENTER',
    T1.[PaidSum] AS 'PAID',
    T0.[Project] AS 'PROJECT CODE',
    T0.[LineNum] AS 'ROW NUMBER',
    T0.[LineStatus] AS 'LINE STATUS',
    T1.[DocStatus] AS 'PR STATUS'
    FROM
    POR1 T0  INNER JOIN OPOR T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry
    WHERE
    T1.DOCSTATUS <>'C'
    AND
    T0.LineStatus <> 'C'
    ORDER BY T1.docentry
I need to add to this query a column to show PO's that have been partially invoiced, a column to show if the invoices have been paid and another column to show the balances for those particular orders.
    HELP PLEASE!
    Robinson

    Thanks Carin,
    That was very helpful, BUT:
    1. I still wish to view all open orders that have been partially invoiced
    2. I still wish to see all the Purchase Orders that have been partially invoiced and paid
    3. I finally want to see the balances for these Purchase Orders that have been partially invoiced.
I don't seem to find the correct fields containing the information. So far all that I was able to establish is that OPOR.DocTotal is the total amount for the Purchase Order. However, OPOR.PaidToDate does not give an accurate value of what is invoiced or paid.
I wish to add the following fields. A field showing the corresponding Invoice number for the partially invoiced order, the amount paid for that PO and the balance.
    Thank you.

  • Field for Vendor Invoice status

    Hi guys,
We have to fetch the vendor invoice status for the given invoice.
I checked with the table RBKP there the field RBSTAT shows the status, but it shows only status like (PARK, POSTED etc)
but the requirement is to get the status like (PAID, VOID, OPEN etc).
I searched through the SDN and SAP, did not found the exact solution.
Is there is any field for that, or any code sample/ logic any one have..
    Thanks,
    Anmol.

    Clossing the threat,
tried using BSIK and BSAK used payment block from BSIK.
    If entry exist in BSAK-paid

if payment block is initial - invoice only

  • Invoice status partly cleared

    Hello Experts,
From a sales order in SAP , I got the billing doc # but the status shows partly cleared and this amount shows as open item for that customer , can I know why the status is partly cleared and reason in SAP
    Thanks so much .

    Hello there,
There might be many reasons to show a billing doc as open.  I guess when you got the billing document number from sales order, you are referring sales invoices or debtor invoice showing as open.
    1) It could be that the debtor have not settled the invoice.
    2) Payment received but not allocated and hence showing as open
    3) Part payment received and allocated and therefore partly cleared which is relevant to your situation.
    4) It could be that payment received in different currency and when converted might have given less than the required balance.
Hope the above provided more info.

  • Part Paid Invoice Missing From Payment Wizard / Outgoing Payments

    Hi,
Having a bit of an issue with a purchase invoice on SAP B1. In brief:
The invoice was posted fine, then they paid 3 invoices but the total was short. The user allocated payment manually using outgoing payments to the 3 invoices, but partially paid the 3rd. This left an outstanding balance of 4,500 EUR
The user ran a payment wizard this morning and the invoice was picked up, along with any recent invoices for supplier, and showed the outstanding balance. The payment wizard was saved, not executed.
Upon review, the payment run was canceled so it could be re run with specific suppliers / invoices selected. However, the part paid invoice is now not showing on the payment run. Likewise, if you try to manually allocated payment for the supplier, it does not give the option to pay anything on the invoice, just all other open documents.
The invoice is still open, and the amount due on the BP balance is the amount o/s not the full amount which is correct.
I have tried recreating the issue on a test system of our own and a backup of their database and cannot get the same problem.
Any ideas would be of great help becuase I have searched the service portal and forums and can;t find anyone with a similair problem and running out of ideas myself.
    Thank you in advance
    Martin

    Hi Martin,
Sometimes when cancelling payment and reconciliations there are values in the tables opch and pch6 that are not reset correctly and then appearing as fully paid.
Check if the Invoice is returned from this query:
select 'AP Invoice' as 'Document Type', docentry, docnum, cardcode, t0.transid, doctotal, paidtodate, balduedeb - balduecred as 'JDT1 Balance Due'
    from opch t0 inner join jdt1 t1 on t0.transid = t1.transid
    where doctotal - paidtodate = 0 and balduedeb - balduecred != 0
    and shortname != account
Let us know how this works out. The query only checks opch you can check the paidtodate field in pch6 as well.

  • Purchase Order has approved but Status show as Unapproved

    Dear All Experts,
I have a Purchase Order need to go throught approval procedure. The Purchase Order has approved by user and add into system and printed out. When second time, open the same Purchase Order, the status show "Unapproved" but the Purchase Order windows header name show Purchase Order [Approved], this make user unable to copy to GRPO. I have try to restore stored procedures in SAP B1, it does not make any changes. The user is using SAP B1 2007A SP0 PL49. Please Advise.

    Hi Angie
the purchase order once approved has to be added on to the system after approval if u say that u have added the purchase order after it got approved then that seems to be a concern for that u need to contact ur sap partner or if u are a partner then u need to get in touch with sap to resolve the isssue as it could be because of problem with ur database
but before that please be sure off that u are using the correct way and have sucessfully added the documnt apon approval.

  • Unable to clear the vendor open items becasuse it is not showing as open ln

    Hi,
I ran APP in F110 and it the status was
    Pararmeteres have been entered.
    payment proposal has been created
    payment proposal has been edited.
payment run has been carried out
posting orders:1 generated and 1 created.
I edited a wrong item,so I cancellled the payment run.
But when I try to make payment for this item in vendor open item list it is showing as open item but in F-44 it is not coming as open items..
How I will clear this Item?

    Hi Smruti Mohanty,
First you have to delete the payment proposal in F110 what you created and deleted that one ,why because the item is stored in that proposal so we cant get that in F-44.
You can Clear this issue through this way.
now i am giving how the deletion of proposal steps in F110
For that select Run date and give identification .next keep the cursor on the proposal and go to edit >Proposal>Delete ,same for parameters and payments also.
May be this information is useful to you
If you have any doubt feel free to ask
    Regards
