Parameters ,Is it in Html spec or in Http spec?

Hi,
I have a requirement to send a xml doc and also to set 2 parameter/value over Http POST.
Is this parameter are part of Html spec or Http spec?
Is there a easy way to write a client for my requirement? I find out how to send a xml over http post and not sure how to mix up along with setting 2 more params/values...
can anyone shed some light on this.
TIA,
uds.

    The rear facing camera is now showing specs and a purple spec right in the middle of the viewing area.  I have cleaned the outside of the phone and it still has dirt specs.

    Double tap Home button and delete Camera app from multitask-list.
    Do a

    myCheckBox = Value 2
    myCheckBox = Value 3
    I would like to know if i want to get back the parameters from the form ,
    is that i must use Enumeration.
    Because i have tried request.getParameter() to get the value of radio button, textbox, checkbox and select menu, but it get the null values.
    Also, the function of Enumeration does not get the values of parameter in sequence as html form. e.g.In the html file, the first parameters should be textbox,but it displays the radio button's values first.
    How to solve the problem .
    Thanks

    This sounds like a bug in the smart upload code. I have used this stuff before, but it's probably an older version, so maybe they broke something. Enumerations aren't usually guaranteed to keep things in any particular order. I would say for now, make a method to take the enumeration and a param name to find the value. And write to the JSPSmart people.

  • How can I pass parameters from report to HTML page

    Hi,
    Does any one know how to pass value from Portal Report to other HTML page (asp for excample).
    I build a Protal report, and I want jamp to "http://...viewDoc.asp?DocID=DocumentID" URL, by clicking on link, where "DocumentID" is parameter that to be pass from report.

    One way is to create a link based on that form and attach that
    link with the report. Through links you can pass parameters

  • Passing parameters to Flash from HTML or JavaScript

    Hi. How do I pass paramaters to a Flash movie without using
    the "../name.swf?param=value" syntax. I have a Flash menu that
    jumps to a certain keyframe depending on the value specified inline
    with the .swf address, which corresponds to the page being viewed.
    The only problem is that, when another page is loaded, the menu
    flickers and reloads because it's not cached: the browser thinks
    it's another file when in fact it's just a different address
    telling it where to go in the movie to update the menu for the
    current page.
    Any ideas how to do this with either HTML or JavaScript? Help
    and suggestions are truly appreciated!

    The other method for doing this is using the Flashvars param.
    You can read about it in the LiveDocs here:
    http://livedocs.macromedia.com/flash/8/main/00001206.html
    Don't know if it will solve your problem, but it is the other
    of the two main ways of passing in variables.
    Good luck!

  • BLS in MII Version 11.5 - HTML Loader with a HTTPS URL ASP Page

    Greetings All,
    In my Business Logic, I have a need to scrape some information off of a Https Webpage but my HTML Loader is getting the following error:
    [ERROR]: HTMLLoader [https://midstream.epplp.com/standard/login.asp] : sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: No trusted certificate found
    Any idea how I can correct this issue.
    I'll eventually have to HTTP Post back to sign in and navigate the site but that also gives the same error...
    Thanks

    BLS will need the certificate to exist in the cacerts file of the jdk of the mii server.
    which for me is located in
    \Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_14\jre\lib\security
    You need to import the certificate using the java keytool.  See
    http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/tooldocs/solaris/keytool.html
    but first you will need to get the certficate.

  • Videoplayer.html not able to http live streaming

    I am using XSplit to feed live streaming to AMS 5.0 with "RTMP URL as rtmp://localhost/livepkgr" and "Stream name as: livestream?adbe-live-event=liveevent".
    By using videoplayer.html from AMS, ok to "rtmp://ams-ip-or-dns/livepkgr/livestream?adbe-live-event=liveevent" to retrieve live traffic very fast.
    Then, when I changed to use HTTP as "
    http://ams-host-ip-dns/hds-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream.f4m".    It only show "Buffering ..." and could not see anything.
    </body
    Tested with VOD. no problem when "rtmp://ams-host-ip-dnsvod/mp4:sample_720p_5m.mp4" or "http://10.40.102.91/hds-vod/sample_720p_5m.mp4.f4m"

    you need to record the file in mp4 file format to save H264 packets. steram recorded without any file format will get recorded in FLV which will discrad H264 packets.
    so code should be like this:
    so when you inititalize the stream variable please mentione mp4: before stream name as
    s=Stream.get("mp4:stream_record.mp4")
    s.play(incoming_stream_from_FMLE);
    s.record;

    Hi again,
    Take a look at a possible 'Table of Contents' for a Functional Specification document.  This a generic - All the items need not be filled in all the time.  The key items are 2, 3, 4, and 9.  If you do not have template, you may create a template in Word.

  • RAM specs different than Apple specs

    I just bought 2x 512MB of RAM (Kingston) for my old 1.8GHz G5. The voltage of the RAM doesn't exactly fit the specifications of Apple. The RAM is 2.6 volt - Apple recommends 2.5 volt. The reseller told me it's not a problem. What do you think?

    The voltage being 2.6 should not be a problem.
    [Even!] Crucial RAM is not 2.5

  • Opportunities For Similar Opportunity Products

    We have populated the opportunity product object with information concerning the specific customer and product sales that came from each closed/won opportunity by creating an interface from our billing system.
    I would now like to create an in context report that would be a link on the opportunity details screen. When selected the link is activated the report would need to pick up the opportunity (no problems here, I know how to do this) and for the selected opportunity look at what customers and products are present in the opportunity product object
    For example
    customer A has purchased Product X
    Now, I want to find all other opportunities that have opportunity products for the same customers and products as the selected opportunity
    So this would mean, answering the question, what other opportunities have opportunity products that include customer A purchasing Product X.
    Any suggestions on how to do this type of sub-select in analytics ?

    You can get an Incontext report under the opportunity that is IS PROMPTED by the Account on the opportunity as you can pass the Account ID from the Opportunity object.
    To try and also get the products to be filtered might not be possible in OnDemand as you might not be able to easily pass all the Product IDs to the In Context Reports.
    The web applet url & html will be like this
    url as
    https://secure-ausomxPOD.crmondemand.com/OnDemand/user/analytics/saw.dll?Go&Path=%2fshared%2fCompany_ABCDE_Shared_Folder%2fOpptyInsightsaAccountwithAccountIDasIsPrompted&Action=Navigate&P0=1&P1=eq&P2=Account."Account ID"&P3=%%%Account_Id%%%&Options=rfd
    where
    'POD' is your actual pod
    'ABCDE' is your company number
    'OpptyInsightsaAccountwithAccountIDasIsPrompted' is your report name with
    Account ID column with filter as a IS Prompted. Choose a suitable Subject Area with Account as one dimension and other suitbale dimensions and Metrics.
    '&Action=Navigate&P0=1&P1=eq&P2=Account."Account ID"&P3=%%%Account_Id%%%' is the critical set of parameters.
    Web Applet HTML as

  • Named Parameters in Queries - the spec vs the Java EE 5 Tutorial

    Hi,
    I've been studying the topic about the named parameters in JPA and found one inconsistency between the spec and the Java EE 5 Tutorial. Could anyone lend me a helping hand understanding it?
    The Java Persistence API spec (ejb-3_0-fr-spec-persistence.pdf) 3.6.3 "Named Parameters" at page 69 reads:
    The use of named parameters applies to the Java Persistence query language, and is not defined for native queries.
    whereas the Java EE 5 Tutorial in the section Named Parameters in Queries (http://java.sun.com/javaee/5/docs/tutorial/doc/PersistenceIntro3.html#wp81563) of The EntityManager reads:
    Named parameters are case-sensitive, and may be used by both dynamic and static queries.
    I think that the reality is that every JPA provider supports named parameters in dynamic and static queries, but it's not fully supported by the spec (yet not forbidden).

    Jacek Laskowski
    http://www.jaceklaskowski.pl

    Hi Jacek,
    These are not conflicting statements. Named parameters apply to the Java Persistence
    Query language only, not to native queries. There are two ways to specifiy
    Java Persistence Query Language queries : dynamically and statically. You can
    either pre-define the query string using @NamedQuery
    static :
    @NamedQuery(name="findPersonByName",
    query="SELECT OBJECT(p) FROM Person p WHERE p.name LIKE :pName")
    OR, pass the query string in at runtime using EntityManger.createQuery
    dynamic :
    em.createQuery("SELECT OBJECT(p) FROM Person p WHERE p.name LIKE :pName")
    The dynamic approach allows you to construct portions of the query string at runtime.
    My example doesn't do that but the point is that use of the createQuery()
    API is considered the dynamic approach.
    The crux of the Java EE 5 Tutorial statement you referenced is that named parameters apply to
    both the static and dynamic use of Java Persistence Query Language queries.

  • Help: No Parameters, HTML Output from Java Servlet

    I have a Java Servlet that reads parameters passed from an HTML form and displays them to another HTML page. I know the servlet is being invoked; however, I am not seeing any HTML output. Sending the output to a file reveals the parameters are coming in as NULL as well.
    I attempted a simple sample app with the same results. Here is what I am running:
    The HTML Form:
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
    <HTML>
    <HEAD>
    <TITLE>Collecting Three Parameters</TITLE>
    </HEAD>

    Second Parameter: <INPUT TYPE="TEXT" NAME="param2"><BR>
    Third Parameter: <INPUT TYPE="TEXT" NAME="param3"><BR>
    <CENTER><INPUT TYPE="SUBMIT"></CENTER>
    </FORM>
    </BODY>
    </HTML>
    The Java Code:
    public class ThreeParams extends HttpServlet {
    public void doGet(HttpServletRequest request,
    HttpServletResponse response)
    throws ServletException, IOException {
    response.setContentType("text/html");
    PrintWriter out = response.getWriter();
    String title = "Reading Three Request Parameters";
    out.println("<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC \"-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 " +
         "Transitional//EN\">\n" +
    "<BODY BGCOLOR=\"#FDF5E6\">\n" +
    "<H1 ALIGN=\"CENTER\">" + title + "</H1>\n" +
    "<UL>\n" +
    " <LI><B>param1</B>: "
    + request.getParameter("param1") + "\n" +
    " <LI><B>param2</B>: "

    " <LI><B>param3</B>: "
    + request.getParameter("param3") + "\n" +
    "</UL>\n" +

    What happens when I "submit" from the form is the same form reloads with the query string in the URL: "http://localhost:8080/ThreeParams/?param1=1&param2=2&param3=3"
    Any assistance with either (or both) would be thoroughly appreciated:
    a) why the parameters are not being passed correctly to the servlet
    b) why the HTML output page is not displayed
    Thanks in advance!

  • Parameters to be mapped for connection spec in JCA connection

    Hi,
        Anyone please let me know the parameters(exact Keys) to be mapped in connection spec of JCA. I am using JNDI to get connection to backend system. Here is the code which i am using.
    ctx = new InitialContext();
    connectionFactory = (IConnectionFactory) ctx.lookup("deployedAdapters/SAPFactory/shareable/SAPFactory");
    IConnectionSpec spec;
    spec = connectionFactory.getConnectionSpec();
    ((Map) spec).put("KEY", "Value");
    clnt = connectionFactory.getConnectionEx(spec);
    I would like to know exact Key's to be used to get connection to backend R/3 system.
    Thanks,
    Suresh.

    Hi,
         I have used the following parameters, still am not able to connect. Am getting, connection Failed: Unable to get connection. Please see the below parameters.
    ((Map) spec).put("client", "100");
    // ((Map) spec).put("UserName", "");
    // ((Map) spec).put("Password", "");
    // ((Map) spec).put("logonmethod", "");
    // ((Map) spec).put("Language", "EN");
    // ((Map) spec).put("ashost", "");
    // ((Map) spec).put("sysnr", "02");
    Is parameter names(client,UserName,Password) correct? Do we need to change like "user", "Passwd" ? Please let me know exact spell of parameters names. Thanks.

  • NOT Using Named Parameters in a Native Query

    Hi!
    like it is written in the Toplink JPA Extensions reference Toplink supports using named parameters in native queries.
    See example from http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/ias/toplink/jpa/resources/toplink-jpa-extensions.html:
    Example 1-11 Specifying a Named Parameter With #
    Query queryEmployees = entityManager.createNativeQuery(
    "SELECT OBJECT(emp) FROM Employee emp WHERE emp.firstName = #firstname"
    queryEmployeeByFirstName.setParameter("firstName", "Joan");
    Collection employees = queryEmployees.getResultList();
    But I want to use "#" in the SQL statement so I want to disable this parameter binding somehow and let the query just execute the SELECT statement I deliver.
    I have tried to add the property
    <property name="toplink.jdbc.bind-parameters" value="false"/>
    into the persistence.xml and I have also tried to add the query hint
    query.setHint(TopLinkQueryHints.BIND_PARAMETERS, HintValues.FALSE);
    but none of them prevents the # to be uses as a paramter. this causes the exception:
    Exception [TOPLINK-6132] (Oracle TopLink Essentials - 9.1 (Build b22)): oracle.toplink.essentials.exceptions.QueryException
    Exception Description: Query argument ######' not found in list of parameters provided during query execution.
    Query: ReadAllQuery(de.merck.compas.material.SimilarLocalMaterialListItemBV)
    The SQL Statement is
    SELECT * FROM TABLE (

    AS RCGC.PHA_COMPAS_SIMILAR_MATS ) )
    I am using the latest Toplink essentials build together with an Oracle 9.2i DB in a Java SE web application.
    Can anyone give me a little hint what to do?
    Thanks and best regards,
    Alex

  • Can't set parameters for embedded audio files using css

    I'm embedding numerous audio files in Dreamweaver CS3 using
    the <embed> tag. I'm using CSS to control the box size and
    other attributes relating to how the file displays on the page, but
    I'd also like to set the parameter "autoplay" to false, and
    controller to "true," for all of the audio files. I've been doing
    this individually for each file (very time consuming), because I
    can't figure out a way to do it with CSS. Is there a way to set
    those parameters in CSS and apply it to all files?

    No. CSS is for presentation, but these parameters belong to
    the HTML and
    have to be written there.
    BTW: The 'embed' element is invalid HTML. If you care about
    valid markup
    and your site doesn't have to be compatible with really old
    browsers
    like NN 4 or IE 5.5, then you should use the valid method
    using 'object'
    elements.
