Participation group AND settlement unit in real estate module
Hello,
i want to create Participation group (transaction RESCPG) and Settlement unit (transaction RESCSU).
Is there any bapi or standard lsmw object to create the 2 objects ?

BAPI_RE_PG_CREATE to create participation group.
and
BAPI_RE_SU_CREATE to create settlement units.

Hi,
I have tried to migrate the setup of an organization which is classified as both Business group and Operating unit.
When it comes to Operating unit API, it errors out with the following Warning message.
I request the iSetup Team to clarify whether there is any restriction in iSetup that the same org as BG and OU cannot be transferred.
If yes, then how to migrate the same...
The above situation happens for the org classified as OU and IO. In this case the INV org API give the warning message.

Commitment Line Item report - BE and Settlement Unit issue
Dear experts,
Request your kind help.
This is with respect to viewing the commitment line item report in ECC 6 for RE-FX master data objects. There are two scenarios.
Scenario 1
Purchase requisition (PR) is created with a business entity (BE) as an Account Assignment object. After the PR is released the same is used to create a Purchase Order (PO). After the PO has been successfully created, I am running the Commitment Line Item report (REISCOLIBD) giving the BE number as a search parameter. The report shows perfectly the PO and the amount of commitment.
Scenario 2
Purchase requisition (PR) is created with a BE as a Account Assignment object. Further to that under the Settlement section, inside the RE Obj box I am also specifying the Service Charge Key, the Settlement Unit and the Ref Date. After the PR is released the same is used to create a Purchase Order (PO). After the PO has been successfully created, I am running the Commitment Line Item report (REISCOLIBD), again by mentioning only the BE number as the input parameter. This time the report does not show the PO at all under commitment line items and instead gives the message "no line items were selected". But here is the catch. When I am running the transaction KSB2 and I am clickng on 'further selection criteria' and then 'Ref Doc num' and then typing the PO number and then running the report, it shows the result perfectly.
Can someone please tell me why in the second scenario, the transaction REISCOLIBD is failing to capture the data related to commitment line items?

How Employee groups and Organizational units are related
Hi All,
I had a requirement for bulk upload of Appraisal documents.
I am an ABAP Consultant.
Here client wants the Employee group as a Selection Criteria.
Based on this I had a query how can I get Organizational units from Employee group.
Actually this is my requirement and if any alternate solutions & suggestions are also welcome.

That means how can I found whether is there any subordinate organizational unit for any organizational unit.

But the requirement is in selection screen only Employee group will be available.
Based on that we need to provide logic. So, I hope above solution is not helping me because they do not want to create appraisal documents person by person. Please guide me.

Can Cons Group and Cons Unit hierarchies be used together?
We have Consolidation Group hierarchy defined in our BCS system. However, this hierarchy is not used for Budget data. Would it be possible to create a Consolidation Unit hierarchy in addition to the Consolidation Group hierarchy, to be used for Budget? Consolidation Group hierarchy already consists of Consolidation Units, so I wasn't sure if this was going to be possible.
I am a BW developer and have never done any development in BCS. I am asking this on behalf of a BCS user. I apologize if this question is too simple for this forum, but I would really appreciate it if someone could give me a quick answer to my question.

NadiaI agree with Eugene that you can have different hierarchies for different purposes.
However one caution is that if you are using consolidation of investments and/or cons group changes tasks the result will differ between the hierarchies overall unless these tasks are executed separately for each hierarchy. -
Sbustitution is not working in Flexible Real Estate Module
Hi,
When posting from RE transactions (RERAPP or RERAOP), VAT is not posted on the BALANCE profit center by substitution.
There's an FI substitution which assigns the BALANCE profit center for postings on all balance sheet accounts, but for some reason this is not working for postings from the RE module. But it is working for other module (like MM, SD etc.,)

Presently we are running Wholesale and Retail business in the same production system- ECC6.0 EHP4
In forthcoming we are planing to bring IS Retail Real Estate also in the same system.. In this scenario i have some doubts Please help me to get it clarify.
1. For Activating or Bring IS Retail Real Estate Module is there any additional user cost or license is required ?
2. Is it possible to activate two industry solution in the same box ?
3. If yes, Will Retail and Real Estate or any existing Functional modules affect?
4. Normally what is the time frame for implementing the Real Estate Module for GCC country zone.
5. Real Estate is a new installation or Add-on ?

If the plan data is already available then I think you should go for extracting the data from ECC into BI and then load the data from BI cubes to BPC Applications.
You can load the data to BPC cubes by usind standard method of DTP or using data manager packages. While loading the data from BI to BPC you can make use of transformations and structure the BI data in the format required by BPC Apps.

Non-cumulative key figure in Real Estate implementation

I am implementing Real Estate Module in BW. We are doing analysis on Condition amount ( BKOND).
The mapped Info Object on BW side is 0COND_AMT, according to standara info sources given by sap ( for e.g in 0RE_3) and it is defined as a Non-cumulative KF with Non cumulkative Change 0COND_CHG.
Can anybody plese explain me the logic behind this. and also source field and table for this 0COND_CHG in R/3 side.Hi Ravi,
Please make sure that when you use a non cumulative key figure iun your real time info cube, then choose a time reference characteristic for that key figure.
Then, this time reference characteristic applies for all the non-cumulative values of the InfoCube and must be the u201Csmallestu201D of the time characteristics present in the InfoCube.

Organization structure for real-estate project

I am required to work in a real-estate company project.
I am confused about the organization structure which should be created for the company.
The company undertakes various projects like housing, shopping complexes, malls, wind-mills, etc. and want to know the profitability reports of each individual project. Every time company will be starting new new construction activities.
Please suggest an organization element how I can represent these in the Controlling Area and avoid number of GL accounts growing out of numbers.
