Partner Change Event not working

Hi,
I have created a WF which has start event as Attribute change and Partner Change.
1st when i save the details on UI the WF triggers but next time if i add any partner functin on UI only partner function and no change in attribute the WF does not trigger.
how do i resolve this. I need to trigger the WF on the adding a partner function to UI.

Dynamic action on text box change does not working

i have a page with following components.
a report that has and edit link.
a text box to catch the primary key from report link when it is clicked
a number of elements (text boxes, check boxes and LOVs) which are used as data entry form.
Now my design is that user enter values save them and no sooner did they save, the report depicts new
values. if user want to edit any record, they click on edit link and the data entry form elements
should now bring all those values from DB on page. i m successful to pick primary key and bring
it in a hidden text box and wrote a dynamic action on its change event that will bring values from
DB and set all page elements. but but but.........the change event doesnt work. it only work
when focus is lost from the text box...!! offcourse user wont want to click in that "hiddent" text
box and then click some where else to bring values in page data entry form......
help is humbly requested from forum or if any other solution approach is to be used easier than
one i m using, would be appreciated.

2. Hidden Item name is P3_EDIT_ACTIVITY_ID
3. Data entry form, hidden item and the report are on the same page.
4. on the edit link of report, i have used following settings.
    Target: Page in this application
     Page: 3
     and i set hidden item as follows......
     Item 1   P3_EDIT_ACTIVITY_ID         Value #ACTIVITY_ID#
   well, when i click the link on report it does bring Activity_Id in the hidden box (which is not yet hidden for debugging purpose)
Next i wrote Dynamic action which fires on the change event of P3_EDIT_ACTIVITY_ID and run PL/SQL code with in it which is as follows

i have created another true action to check when the dynamic action is fired. its very simple alert. and the problem is, it only fires when focus is lost from the P3_EDIT_ACTIVITY_ID. i mean, when u keep changing value inside the text box, nothing happens, when u go outside, the alert is fired and so the pl/sql procedure. but the line
    :P3_Dept := :Dept;       OR      :P3_Dept := Dept;         arent working which is the actual requirement.
I m not using set value here as i have to set a lot of values on page not one. further. plz let me get rid of this lost focus thing as i want the form to be populated with correct values related to P3_EDIT_ACTIVITY_ID as the user click on any edit_link in the report.

Shopping Cart Workflow - "Wait for change event" not firing?

Hi there,
I have a scenario where if I create a shopping cart above my spending limit it will go into the approver's inbox, that is fine.
Now if I change the total value of the shopping cart to be within my spending limit the original workflow should be "logically deleted" and a "no step approval workflow" should be triggered.
I see when the SC workflow triggers it also branches with a "wait for events", so that if it changes etc it will get caught here.
When I change the SC it does not do anything, the value of the cart changes but it still sits in the approvers inbox and the "no step approval workflow" does not trigger.
We are busy upgrading to SRM 5.0, it worked perfectly in the SRM 3.0 system we had.
Any ideas what would cause the "change event" not to fire?

You are the man!! That solved it.....I have implemented the BBP_WFL_SECUR_BADI and for whatever reason I set the security level to 4 when it should have been 2.
4     "High" (workflow is never restarted when changes are made)
3     "Medium" (WF restarted conditionally when changes are made)
2     "Low" (workflow is always restarted when changes are made)
1     "None" (changes to the object are not allowed)
0     "Not defined"

Table Maintenance Generator-Before Delete event not working with sort

Hi All,
I have requirement to sort the TMG for a custom table with non primary key and also to put condition for deleting entries, so that only specific entries can be deleted.
I did the sorting by adding MODULE SORT in the PBO of the Screen and providing the logic to sort EXTRACT and TOTAL tables with the required field. This is working correctly.
Also I used BEFORE_DELETE (Event 03) to unmark all entries selected, which is not satisfying the condition. This is also working as expected.
But, though they are working independently, these changes are not working together.
Please help me in resolving this issue.

Partner application logoff not working

We have a partner application registered with sso with custom login screen. The login works fine. We use the following code to logoff the partner application in logoff.jsp
response.setHeader("Osso-Return-Url", "http://my.oracle.com" );
response.sendError(470, "Oracle SSO");
session.invalidate();
but the logoff is not working properly. It is not invalidating the session and the logout http request is not going from the application server to the sso server.
Are there any additional configurations for SSO logoff.Any help is appreciated.

'CHANGE' event not triggering for BTE 2214 on park/change from FBV1/FBV2

I have designed a workflow template for FI parking. If the parked document is rejected, i need to trigger FIPP 'CHANGE' event for sending workitem to approver when someone changes the parked document. In SWEL event trace, the 'CHANGE' event is not getting raised.
So i implemented a BTE 000002214 and now i am able to raise 'CHANGE' event and capture it in workflow. But this is only working when i park a document using FV50 transaction and later change it.
But when i park a document using FBV1 and then make changes from FBV2, the 'CHANGE' event is not being triggered in SWEL. Should i implement some other BTE like 2218 etc? Can you please help?

Hi Gokul,
You can try handling the SAVE event instead of the CHANGED event.
T-code FBV2 will not allow you to save the document unless you make some changes.
Try implementing BTE 2218 and revert.

System Events not working correctly with Acrobat Professional

Hey Guys, I have a script that I have written that automatically enables security settings on a PDF through Acrobat Professional. Because of Acrobats poor scriptability I am forced into doing much though System Events.
This is not a major problem... however when activating some settings in the security settings, often warning Alert dialog boxes appear when you tell System Events to enable particular settings. These Alerts do not have a title... The only way I have been able to get the script to deal with them is with the following code:

I guess this is an ok solution... bit hard to identify windows when they don't have titles...
BUT this is not my main problem. The main problem is that the script gets to one of these alert dialog boxes and just sits there... It sits there for like 10 seconds and then it performs the "click button "OK"" command.
This is a problem as there are like 3 of these instances and it really adds up. Can anybody help me... I am using Acrobat Professional 8.2.0 and the entire code is:

Apple Remote Events Not Working

I have an internal drive with OS X Client 10.3.9 and a fresh install of the same OS X Client on an external hard drive. Apple Remote Events, though turned on in System Preferences, does not function across my local network when booted on either of these drives.
With a 2nd internal drive, I've got OS X Server 10.3.9 and when booted under this OS version, Apple Remote Events works as it should.
Any ideas how I can enable the proper functionality of Apple Remote Events on OS X Client?

I have discovered that an apostrophe character in the machine name created a mismatch between the network identity name and the actual name. "Ken Goff's Computer" was converted to "Ken-Goffs-Computer.local" by OS X 10.0 when I first set up my computer.
Changing the computer name to anything without the apostrophe and then editing the network name substituting dashes for spaces between words in the name fixed it.
Remote Apple Events now works across the network.

Change Notification not working on Oracle 11.2.0.2.0 but ok with 11.2.0.1.0

Hello together,
we have an .Net application which implements the Change Notification using ODP.NET.
On the customer site all worked well on the development and test environment connected to an Oracle database version 11.2.0.1.0. After setup of the production environment (Oracle 11.2.0.2.0 on another server) the change notification didn't work anymore.
The notifications are registered properly, but the event handles don't receive the change events.
It was checked, if all ports are open, firewall etc. and no hint from this side was found, why it should not work.
Then we recompiled the .Net application with references set to the new version of ODP.NET (11.2.0.2.1) - also without success.
After all, a second database was installed in the production environment, but now version 11.2.0.1.0 (same version as in development and test environment), and if connected to this database the change notification worked as expected.
Can anybody give me a hint, what might be the reason for not receiving change notification events on Oracle 11.2.0.2.0 ?

This is a DB bug, not an ODP.NET bug. If it were documented anywhere, it would be in the DB README. This problem affects anyone using change notification on a DB on any platform. This is not a problem specific to ODP.NET.
I suspect this issue is not documented since it was diagnosed after 11.2.0.2 became available. If you wish to track a bug, you can log into My Oracle Support and view the bug log. I viewed the bug log myself and the problem has been resolved. It's just waiting for the 11.2.0.3 patchset to be released.
If your organization needs this fix sooner than the second half of this year, let me know. I'll ask Oracle Support if they can include this fix in a bundled patch or one-off.

Portal event not working

I am try to handle portal event in my WD ABAP i view. The event is fired by WD Java team viewer iView in MSS. What I want is when someone select an employee from team viewer iview from MSS, my WD ABAP iview should react accordingly.
I check SAP note 1112733 for corresponding solution to handle event but it didnt worked. My WD ABAP application is not able to subscribe to the event.

I'm not a portal consultant, so I can only related the requirement from the WDA side that the domains must be the same. I don't know if the domain relaxation on the portal sise will take take of the subdomain. My guess is that if you are having problems, that it doesn't. You would probably need to ask this question in the portal forum or discuss with a portal consultant.

What do you mean, not working? Is the portal eventing just not work or are you not able to load the WDA applications at all.

Contextual Event - "Currency Change Event" not raised?

I am trying to raise contextual event on a table when I click on a row. The event type for a table is eventType="Currency Change Event" But is not working.
Here is the event in the PageDef file.

there is a bug 10045872 filed for this. The bug is scheduled for fixing in PS4 (11.1.1.5) I'll work on a manual - though code centric - alternative for the time being and publish it on ADF Code Corner when done.

Click event not working on anchor tag

I've the following code and it's not working on the Safari browser (latest version, windows or in iPhone User Agent mode). This works fine in any other browser. What am I missing or is there any other alternative to fix this?
What code is supposed to do, is, when you click on the "google" link in the example, it should create a Image request from JS (junk test) which I don't see it happening when I look through network sniffer.

COM Events not working

I have a servlet that is accessing a COM object. It issues commands to the
COM object, and some time later, events are supposed to fire into the Java
class to update some info. Well, the updates are not happening. Any
thoughts?
Some info:
class Connection is the implementation (proxy) of the COM object.
class CLServer is my code that implements _IConnectionEvents (the COM-event
interface). It also calls methods on Connection, especially
Connection.add_IConnectionEventsListener(this)
As I said, this is all running under weblogic (running as a service) as a
servlet. The calls out to COM succeed, but the asynchronous calls back in
don't.

By the way, I found the problem.
The COM object I was using was actually posting Windows messages to
itself
to fire the events. Of course, the JVM isn't running a message loop, sothey
never got handled, therefore, no events got fired. I had to write awrapper
COM Server (exe) with a message loop that instantiated the object that I
really wanted. Of course that led to other problems that I post about in
another message above! :-)

I have a servlet that is accessing a COM object. It issues commands to
the
COM object, and some time later, events are supposed to fire into theJava
class to update some info. Well, the updates are not happening. Any
thoughts?
Some info:
class Connection is the implementation (proxy) of the COM object.
class CLServer is my code that implements _IConnectionEvents (theCOM-event
interface). It also calls methods on Connection, especially
Connection.add_IConnectionEventsListener(this)
As I said, this is all running under weblogic (running as a service)
as
a
servlet. The calls out to COM succeed, but the asynchronous calls backin
don't.
