  • ODSEE Connector Patch ID request

    Hello Everyone
We are using LDAP connector 11.1.1.6 version in OIM 11.2.2. The target is SunOne and we are using it in ODSEE format.
Now, we are seeing a problem where even if the user is disabled in target and if we run 'LDAP Trusted Reconciliation' the user is not getting disabled in OIM. All the required attributes - enabledAttribute, enabledValue, disabledValue and enabledWhenNoAttribute are all set correctly.
After a research, my colleague told me that there is a patch for this bug. Can someone tell me the bug number or patch number of this solution or any other info which is helpful to me?
    Thanking You in advance.

Not very sure but just check whether latest BP fixes your issue.

    1) Log in to My Oracle Support (http://support.oracle.com)
    2) Click on "Patches & Updates" tab
    3) Click on "Product or Family (Advanced Search" link
    4) Enter "RDBMS Server" for Product
    5) For Release, expand "RDBMS Server" and select (check box) "10.2.0.3"
    6) Ensure Platform is selected as the filter field and select "Linux x86-64" as the platform
    7) Click on the circled + (right edge)
    8) Select Filter "Type" and select "Patchset"
    9) Click Search
In the resulting list, look at the ReadMe for each entry. The ReadME will tell you whether it's a Patch (that has probably been mis-labelled) or a Patch Set. Patch Sets, as I know them, are usually larger than the original software.

  • Pre-request to learn OA Frame Work

    Hi Friends,
I am having experience as Oracle Developer (SQL/PLSQL Forms & Reports) and willing to learn new technology, don't have work experience on Java Technologies. Please suggest OAFrame Work Suitable for me.
    --Kishore

    Hi,
For learning OAF, you just require some basics of core java.
However, I would recommend to have some basics of web applications as well. You can learn those from some initials of advanced java which includes:
what is server side programming ?
what are servlets & JSPs ?
If you get some hand on these, then learning OAF will be very easy for you.
Also, refer this link as well:

  • Oracle instalaltion Pre request.

Before installing oracle on solaris 5.10 oracle recommend us to install following packages.
SUNWarc SUNWbtool SUNWhea SUNWlibc SUNWlibms SUNWsprot SUNWtoo SUNWi1of SUNWi1cs SUNWi15cs SUNWxwfnt..
1.Can anyone tell me what are these packages used for and is it mandatory to proceed oracle installation?
2.And Is these standard Solaris packages?

    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/em.102/b40103/app_platform_pkg_requirements.htm
Search for Required Packages on Solaris. These packages are prerequisites to install Oracle. If you don't the installation or part of the installation will fail. If you want to know what each package is used for, I guess google might be your best friend.

  • Export Patch wizard report to excel

    Hi,
Is there a way to export the recommended patches list generated from the patch wizard to excel? I have tried the export to excel option but it failing.
    Thanks,

OK here you go. You need the request id from submit recommend patches - so from recommended patches results page click on the request set id link and then get the Submit Analyze Patches (Wrapper) request id in.

  • Merge 4411462 and 5073249 patches?

Performing EBS database upgrade from 9.2 to 10G:
Step 21 of note:362203.1 says to apply 9 database patches. Two of the patches in the list conflict with each other (4411462 and 5073249). How did you guys handle this? Did you skip the 5073249 patch and request a merge from Oracle and in the meantime proceed with the upgrade?

Even better, there were file conflicts with the BIS patches and the quarterly critical patch updates. Whenever I applied a CPU patch, opatch rolled back those BIS patches. After about 4 or 5 TARs, I was able to get them merged with the latest CPU build for 10.2.0.2.
For Cotober 2006 CPU, there was a super merge that merges the BIS patches with the CPU updates:
    5598552 SUPER MLR FOR CPUOCT2006 ON 10.2.0.2
For January 2007 CPU, (5689957 CPU MLR patch for 10.2.0.2 on 23), 4411462 and 5073249 are listed in the bugs fixed section, and should be included in 10.2.0.2 CPU fixes going forward.

  • Not able to download database 11.2.0.3 - exceeded maximum permitted download requests on server

I have been trying to download database version 11.2.0.3 from the patchset a couple of times. Everytime my download gets interrupted/not complete for some reason.
Now when I try to download I get the following message:
"You have exceeded the maximum number of permitted simultaneous patch download requests allowed on this server.
Your request cannot be processed at this time, please retry later with fewer number of patch download request connections."
Would appreciate if anyone could advise on how I can get around this.
    Regards,
    Santhosh Jose

    Thanks Baris.
Now the real problem for me is that the downloads never complete. It goes up until 99.91% etc. and then stops.
I have tried it multiple times using different browsers, different download managers and even different oracle support login ids. The same result everytime.
Has anyone else faced the same issue and found a way around?

  • Problem in web service while applying patches

    Hi,
While applying basis patches from SAPKB70012 to SAPKB70016
we were getting abap dump. i coordinated with SAP and was able to resolve the abap dump.
But there are still errors in spam.
Currently none of my webservice are working "Service  Cannot Be Accessed !" .
    Kindly provide me the solution.
    Regards,
    Rachel.

Is your patching is still in progrees? If you are patching for basis components then you can expect dumps and they will not allow you to login to the system sometimes .In this case we can perform import from os level to get rid of the issue.
If your patching is in progress then I would prefer you to wait till it completes. And if this is happening after patching I request you to post log file entries.
