  • Could not find the fields in Flat file, But able to see the fields in receiver Communcication channel

    Hi All,
My scenario is Proxy to file, After testing my scenario the flatfile is getting generated without any errors.
I can able to see all the fields in receiver communication channel payload. But some fields are missing in flatfile which is generated after conversion.
    This is my structure below
    Record
    ---Header
          a
          b
          e
          g
    ---Trailer
          c
          d
    ---Details
          e
          f
And here is my content  conversion below
    Header.fieldFixedLengths   2,4,6,7
    Header.endSeparator         'nl'
    Trailer.fieldFixedLengths     3,5
    Trailer.endSeparator           'nl'
    Details.fieldFixedLengths    6,7
    Details.endSeparator          'nl'
Actually in header there are nearly 34 fields, I can able to see all the 34 fields in reciever CC, But in generated flat file I can able to see only first 30 fields remaing 4 are missing in flat file.
it is like in the above structure In Header there are a,b,e,g fields.I am getting a, b fields e and f are missing in flatfile.
    Thanks in advance.
    Please suggest me the solution.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Satish

    Hi Satish
As you said 4 fields values are missing out of 34. Are those fields values are coming as blank in the file or not at all coming.
    Ex:
you have 4 fields a,b,e,g and in channels you have defined length as 2,4,6,7
If values for fields a,b,e,g are coming as 1,22,33,44444 respectively then the flat file is generated as
1-22--33----4444--- (Consider - as space here)
Now if you say e and g value then is the flat file generated as
    1-22---------------
    or
    1-22--

  • Restart RFC Receiver Adapter Channel in XI 3.0

    Hi all,
I have a problem when the R/3 Backend receiver of the RFC call through XI 3.0 shutdown the weekend.
When XI restarts but the R/3 is not up, the RFC adapter (receiver communication Channel of R/3 backend) fails. In the Adapter monitor I can see the error:
    "Can't connect to gateway".
The only way I know to solve this problem is going to the Integration Directory and Inactivate the communication channel, save changes and activate change list. Then re-activate the channel, save changes and activate change list.
At this moment, the RFC Adapter of the R/3 receiver registers on the gateway and is visible in SMGW transaction.
Is there any other way to restart the RFC adapter channel of one backend (or all at the same time)?
    Thank you
    Best regards
    Luis

    Hello Michal,
I can't control the startup process of the R/3 because that system is under another backup policy and shutdown schedulling.
I think the option of disable the initial check parameter of the RFC Adapter could be enough to solve the problem.
Do you know if this parameter impact another runtime behavior?. I prefer in case of failure that temporaly the rfc doesn't run, but after the comunication error automaticaly the adapter works without manual change or administration and support maintenance.

  • Proxy receiver communication channel

    Hi Experts,
When I am executing an interface in XI, I am getting the message in SXMB_MONI.
<SAP:Stack>Unable to create HTTP client (exception 1)</SAP:Stack>
The receiver is Proxy here. Where can I get the service number of R/3 system to enter in the XI receiver communication channel and what's the significance of this? I am using Proxy receiver adapter with URL address connection. I have given 8000 as the service number. Not sure whether this is right. What is the path prefix?
In the SXMB_ADM, do I need to maintain some parameters for proxy?
    Thanks
    Ricky

I did give the Service number of R/3. My R/3 uname and password for login
But I am getting the message in MONI "HTTP response contains status code 401 with the description User not authorized for message processing Authorization error when sending using HTTP (error code: 401, error text: User not authorized for message processing". Pls help to sort this out
    Thanks

  • Target URL in the Receiver SOAP channel in PI 7.11

    Hi
I have designed integrated Configuration in PI 7.11 and i have SOAP sender and SOAP receiver. SOAP sender is fine but for SOAP receiver i have an issue with the target URL that i selected.
Initially the receiver was ABAP proxy with HTTP connection as we dont have ABAP related adapters in AAE i used SOAP. But i have used the same URL that is the Target host configured in the HTTP ABAP connection to the target system. Then i am getting the following error at the receiver comm channel
Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.sdk.xi.util.URI$MalformedURIException: no scheme
I am sure i am doing a mistake, the URL i am using is wrong as it is not meant for SOAP calls. Please suggest me what needs to be done here.

..I am sure i am doing a mistake, the URL i am using is wrong as it is not meant for SOAP calls. Please suggest me what needs >>to be done here
You are using Integrated configuration with PI 7.1 EHP1 version. That means SOAP supports as PI native protocol (XI) for PROXY scenario. So, you have to create soap receiver adapter and choose message protocol as XI.
Integrated configuration occurs in java stack engine and XI adapter(proxy) not exists there. Only if you do classical processing (IE) then you can use XI adapter at the receiver side. Thats the reason you dont find XI adapter in the integrated configuration.
    Hope I answered your question

  • Dynamic path in the communication channel

    Hi,
Is it possible to provide the path into the receiver file communication channel via the mapping program or any other means?
In short, we want the path in the channel to be dynamic.
Is it possible?, if so, how?
    Thanks,
    John

    Hi,
Yes it is possible by using Variable Substitution. The path must be into the target payload and then you can use "Variable substitution" in your communication channel definition, to extract the path and use it into path name.
    var1 = payload:MT_XXXX,1,path_field_name,1
    Abid!

  • Can we schedule the receiver communication channel ?

    Dear all ,
I have a  scenario of IDOC -> XI -> flat file
The requirement is the receiver file channel should start after every 10 min
and all the files which are coverted from idocs will then go to the destination folder
Is it possible to schedule receiver channel to start every 10 min
    Regards

    Hi Sunil,
use ABAP proxy and call that proxy in a program and schedule it in SE37.

By default, the SOAP adapter sends the SOAP message with the content type text/xml.
When you check "Do not use SOAP envelope", the default contnet type is application/xml.
You can change the content type like this: Go to the SOAP receiver communication channel module tab. Add the module "localejbs/AF_Modules/MessageTransformBean" before the standard module. Add the parameter name Transform.ContentType and value text/xml.

  • In some pages I keep receiving this message: "The proxy moz-proxy://172.20.5.250:8080 is requesting a username and password. The site says: "moz-proxy://172.20.5.250:8080"".

In my company, I used FF for sometime now.
I had some problem in the beginning, but using the proxy IP and Domain\Username + Password I was able to navigate.
Ever since I tried FF4.x and FF5.x... I started to receive the following message:
The proxy moz-proxy://172.20.5.250:8080 is requesting a username and password. The site says: "moz-proxy://172.20.5.250:8080"
Even after inserting the Domain\Username and the Password I keep receiving the same error. In FF3.xx I was able to use the proxy.
Don't know what to do any more there are several pages that have this problem.
    http://pplware.sapo.pt/
    http://www.facebook.com
    http://www.netbooklive.com/
    http://daxspeculator.blogspot.com/
    Some... don't have any problem:
    http://batracer.com
    http://www.youtube.com
Even when I try to see the extensions I get this error. This is so weird!!!
For now... I have switched to Chrome, every new version of FF that is released I try it to see if the problem is gone. But, with no luck until now! :(

I did have this problem with proxy moz-proxy prompt for username and password. In my case it was for websites hosted not on the internet but on the local corporate intranet. I solved my problem by doing the following action:
Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Network -> Settings: add the local website to the "No Proxy For:" field.
I hope this will help some of you out there that have manually configured their proxy settings. Also a tip if you need to turn on and off proxy settings I recommend using "Quick Proxy" add-on.

    You flow should ideally be
GUI Mapping (XML) -> Adapter Module -> File adapter
Note modules are extensions to file adapter.

    Hi
    According to your Error Message,
Saying that JDBC Configuration is not Active.
Once again cross check all the config is Activated & also Test your Config Using Config Test Tool in ID
And also check in RWB-Adapter Engine-Adapter monitoring ---select the option instaled & Started. whether the JDBC Adapter is working fine or not
