Pay As You Go-Web Access Fee and Mobile to Mobile?

I am thinking of getting a pay as you go phone. As far as payment plans go I may do the $0.99 daily listed here ---> http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/store/controller?item=prepayItem&action=viewPrepayOverview
And the phone I'm thinking of getting is this one ---> http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/prepay/getPhoneDetail.do?item=prepayItem&selectedPhoneId=5931&selectedPlanCatId=1450
Under details it mentions web. Opera web browser, e-mail, facebook, twitter, etc. No where does it mention  any fees  for using any of this. Does the $0.99 daily access fee cover all web use as well or are there undisclosed other fees?
Also, the unlimited mobile to mobile calling I assume means verizon to verizon calls. Does that mean there is no 10¢ nights and weekend fees for calling another Verizon phone? What about texting? Does unlimited mobile to mobile apply to that or is there a 10¢ per text fee even when texting other Verizon customers.
Would appreciate clarification!

  • Outlook Web Access Light and Attachments

    Hi - my company makes email available by MS webmail as well as outlook clients on PCs - when i travel with my own Mac i accesss the webmail - but it wont allow me to download attachments, only view them as a web doc - no editing or saving etc.
    Our IT boys reckon that if I select "Private" computer instead of "Public" then it will work - however, this notion of a network setup option relates to Windows - I don't recall it on the Mac - any suggestions welcomed please\
    Many thanks

    Hi,
    Glad to know that we have found the solution, thank you for your sharing.
    Some additional information about msexchquerybaseDN for your reference:
    OWA does not incorporate user permission sets when doing searches. The permissions set on OUs do not prevent search results from including other segregated group's recipients, due to how OWA works. This is where attribute
    msExchQueryBaseDN comes in.
    In order for us to control or restrict the search results to include only the members of the appropriate address list in Outlook Web Access, we must set the attribute
    msExchQueryBaseDN on each user object to the
    distinguishedname (DN) of the OU or an address list containing the correct group of users.
    More details in the following blog:

  • Outlook web access calendar and iphone

    When i access outlook web access and try and enter a new appointment in the calendar, i get the meeting template even though the box clicked is for appointment. this happens on imac and iphone.
    outlook 2003

    There is a possibility that the Outlook 2003 Web Access website may not be compatible with certain browsers.
    So far you have checked on
    -Safari Mac
    -Safari iPhone
    -Firefox (PC or Mac?)
    and Internet Explorer
    Do you know anyone else with an iPhone that is not able to access their OWA 2003 site and use the calendar correctly as well? or someone who might be using Outlook Web Access 2007?

  • If I only need web access, Itunes and photo storage can I buy a mac air?

    If I only use my computer for internet, photos, calandar, music etc. Will the MacBook Air be enough for me?

    How much room do you need for your photos and music? Because I'm not so sure that you'll need the 13" Air with 256gb. If your photo library and music library are relatively modest, you could get away with an iPad.
    So let me ask you, given what you've got, how much storage do you need? Would 64gb be too little, or roomy? And would this be your only computer or do you have a desktop? I ask that because it makes a difference whether you want to have everything on the laptop and with you all the time, or if you're keeping most stuff on the desktop and only want the laptop to have things you're working or want with you while you're out and about. In the second scenario, an iPad or smaller Air would do just fine.
    If, on the other hand, you have hefty photo/music libraries including videos, or if you plan on making this laptop your primary computer, then, yes, an Air would be better.

  • Using remote desktop web access (RDWEB) with remoteapps and a traditional remote desktop

    I configured windows 2012 r2 remote desktop services and remote desktop web access (rdweb) and was able to click the icon on the rdweb page to log on to a remote desktop session. When I published a remoteapp program, the remote desktop icon went away. How
    do I get it back? Do I need to publish remote desktop as a remoteapp so users can both use remote apps and log on to a traditional remote desktop session?
    thanks in advance for the help

    Hi,
    You can just publish RDC as RemoteApp and then can connect to the desired remote desktop connection. You can check the below snap.
    Hope it helps!
    Thanks.

  • How do I change the URL to the Remote Web Access server in Windows Server 2012?

    Hallo!
    I have set up a Remote Dexktop Service using the "Quick" deployment method in Server Manager and everything is working greate internally, but I cannot start an app published in Remote Web Access from outside our network.
    The problem is that it wants to start the using the internal URL, for example, server.domain.local, instead of the external one, for example remote.server.com.
    I therefore want to know how I can change the default URL for the Remote Web Access server and all the Remote Web Apps in Windows Server 2012?
    I have allready looked in Server Manager and I can change some of the deployment settings in server manager, but there is no way to alter the URL of the Remote Web Access server. See below images:
    Pressing the internal URL only results in opening the internal URL.
    This was very simple to do in Windows Server 2008 R2 using the tsconfig tool, but it does not seam to be any way of solving this in server manager.
    A possible sollution would be to alter the registry someware in HKLM->Software->Microsoft->Windows NT->Terminal Services. But this can easaly lead to problems due to wrong format, etc. and is probably not supported.
    Is there a simpler and supported way?

    That option can be used to connect to any machine that you want.  The error message indicates that the client machine cannot resolve the name "server.domain.local" to an IP address that it can connect to.
    You have several options for configuring that tab on the RDweb site.  You can even remove it entirely.
    Customization of RD Web Site
    RD Web provides a number of customization options for the RD Web interface, including the ability to control default Gateway server settings and redirection settings. These settings
    are controlled by editing the web.config file located in %SYSTEMROOT%\Web\RDWeb\Pages.
    Displaying Local Help
    To display local help for users instead of the web-based help, edit the LocalHelp value and change the value from false to true.
    <!-- LocalHelp: Displays local help for users, instead of the web-based help. Value must be "true" or "false" -->
    <add key="LocalHelp" value="false" />
    When this value is changed, a user that clicks on Help in the upper right corner of the RD Web login page will open the local help file instead of web-based help.
    Hiding the Connect to a Remote PC Tab
    The RDWeb page
    Connect to a Remote PC tab can be hidden from users to prevent connections to any servers through RD Web other than the servers configured in a collection. By default, this setting is set to true and the
    Remote Desktops tab is displayed. To hide the tab, set the value to false.
    <!-- ShowDesktops: Displays or hides the Remote Desktops tab. Value must be "true" or "false" -->
    <add key="ShowDesktops" value="true" />
    When the value is set to false, a user will not see the Connect to a Remote PC tab when logged on to the RD Web page
    RD Gateway Settings
    If the Connect to a Remote PC tab is enabled, an administrator can configure RD Web to use a Gateway server when connecting to remote computers. To specify a gateway, edit the below
    value with the name of the RD Gateway server:
    <!-- DefaultTSGateway: Admin can preset this to a given Gateway name, or set to "" for no gateway. -->
    <add key="DefaultTSGateway" value="" />
    The default authentication method for the RD Gateway server can also be configured by editing the following section of the web.config:
    <!-- GatewayCredentialsSource: TS Gateway Authentication Type.
    Admins can preset this.
    0 = User Password
    1 = Smartcard
    4 = "Ask me later"
    -->
    <add key="GatewayCredentialsSource" value="0" />
    Devices and Resources
    By default, only Printers and Clipboard are redirected on connections made using the Connect to a Remote PC tab. If the user clicks the
    Options << button, the redirection settings for a specific connection can be modified
    To configure each specified redirection option to be enabled or disabled by default, edit the following section in the web.config file:
    <!-- Devices and resources: Preset the Checkbox values to either true or false -->
    <add key="xPrinterRedirection" value="true" />
    <add key="xClipboard" value="true" />
    <add key="xDriveRedirection" value="false" />
    <add key="xPnPRedirection" value="false" />
    <add key="xPortRedirection" value="false" />
    LAN Experience Defaults
    Windows Server 2012 RD Web Access can display a new user selectable option for optimizing the connection for a LAN experience. This option is displayed at the bottom of the RD Web
    page and can be controlled by the administrator using the following section of the web.config file:
    <!--  Checkbox to opt for optimized LAN experience -->
    <add key="ShowOptimizeExperience" value="false" />
    <add key="OptimizeExperienceState" value="false" />
    This value is set to false by default, but when changed to true, the following checkbox will display at the bottom of the webpage. The LAN experience
    checkbox can also be set as enabled by default.
    Each setting can also be modified using the IIS Manager user interface:

    Hi,
    create an attribute(say ca_fileupload) of  type XSTRING  under context and bind that attribute with the data property.
    For binding the attribute just Click on the element file_up , there you can see data property,click on that and you can see all the nodes and attributes  you have created and there click on the attribute(ca_fileupload).

  • Gateway web access configuration

    We have an RD Gateway server hosted at our Central Office. We have 6 other sites that have RD host servers. I’ve been on the gateway and been on the Remote desktop web access configuration and seen that there is a list of programs from each site showing.
    I’ve added a new program to one of the site but I can’t find if there is a way to replicate the changes or how to add the new program into the Web access on the gateway server? I’ve been looking into this but I can’t find any tutorials or support media on
    it.
    All servers are running server 2008 R2
    If anyone can either point me in the right direction or let me know if there is a default replication time I’ll be great full. If this is in the wrong thread, please move this or let me know where to move it to.
    Thank you.

  • Hide system tray notification after login via RD web access

    Hi,
    I have a question. Is there a way to set that the notification in system tray won't appear after login into RD web access? And related question. I recently rename server and in this notification still shows old one. "Your computer is connect to: {old
    server name}" Is there way to change to at least the correct name of the server? I tried searching in registry but without luck. Thank you.

    Hi,
    Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.
    What’s your server OS Version? There is one KB related to the issue which you are facing.
    The issue might occurs when there are multiple unexpired cookies on the client computer. To work around this issue you can use “Let me Fix by myself” from below article.
    The "Connected" icon does not appear in the notification area when you connect to a remote application by using Remote Desktop Web Access on a computer that is running Windows Server 2008 R2
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/977507
    In addition to change the name of RDS Server you can use following script.
    Change published FQDN for Server 2012 or 2012 R2 RDS Deployment

  • Outlook Web Access Server

    Can someone please help me? I am able to receive mail, but cannot send mail out. We have an Outlook Web Access Server and I have entered the address. I know this address is functional since I can access it via the web.
    Do I have to enter a smtp server? I tried to choose "none," but once I quit and relaunch the program, the smtp goes back to my previous smtp server.

    Never mind! I selected "Exchange IMAP" in error, making the field entitled, "Outlook Web Access Server" required. I should have selected "IMAP", not "Exchange IMAP".
    Thanks for all you who took the time to read this question.
    If the administrator reads this, feel free to remove my question.
    Thank you.

  • Outlook Web Access will only log in as Light Version

    My office has been using Microsoft Exchange Outlook Web Access for longer than a year at least. We have been using the full version.  We have a desktop operating Windows 7 with the most updated IE browser, and my computer a Windows 8 laptop with the
    most updated IE browser. My lap top is where the problem is. As of about two days ago the OWA is only logging in as the Light version. There is an option on the log in screen that says "Use Outlook Web Access Light" and the box is checked and grayed
    out so that I can not uncheck it. I did not check this myself it just happened. Also the setting for blind and vision impaired users is not checked off in the accessibility tab under options. I have checked the Windows 7 desktop and it is functioning
    normally.  It allows the user to check or uncheck the "use outlook web access light" at will and does not get stuck in Light version.  Also please note that this is the same email address for both computers not multiple users
    where one works and one doesn't.  I am charged to monitor the email in our office and do it from the laptop but there is access to it on the desktop if the other employee needs access.  I have also seen forums where they say to
    change the server to say OWAPremiumClientEnabled. I do not know how to do this.  If this is a possible solution please give me steps on how to access the server which i don't even know if i am connected to.

    What kind of help do you need?
    If Outlook Web App opens just in a light version, you have to update your Exchange Server to resolve this issue.
    Also you can temporarily add the URL/Domain to the Compatibility List as said Martina_Miskovic.

  • Making changes to web access phone setting CUCM 8.6.2

    Hello,
    I have a question on a change I need to make on our Call Manager. We use the Berbee Informacast product for emergency notification. It requires that the Web Access parameter be enabled on the individual phones in order to send audio broadcasts. I have learned that after a certain version of CUCM (8.6 perhaps) this setting was set to disable by default on the Enterprise Phone Configuration section on CUCM. We have had this version running about a year now and many many phones have been installed since then. These phones have the web access disabled I believe because of this being disabled on the server settings side. My question is this...
    Would it be better to go into System > Enterprise Phone Configuration>Web Access setting and set to enable
    or
    Do a bulk edit on all phones to enable, reset phones.
    What I am not sure about also is if I change on the system side if it will automatically update and reset phones.
    Just not clear on the right path to take on this...
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    -Nick

    Thanks for the great info. This is what I did.
    Changed web access to enabled in Enterprise Phone Configuration. Clicked Ok, manually rebooted a couple of phones with no web access. Still didn't work.
    Changed web access to enabled in Device>Device Settings>Common Phone Profile>Standard Common Phone Profile. Clicked Save and rebooted the same two phones. Worked great.
    Ran job scheduler to reboot all phones (1600 of them) and all seems to be good now.
    Thanks again Chris!
