Payment advice (Invoice no. & FCN No.)

Hi,
At my client payers send ERA (instead of payment advice). In ERA they send us our invoice number as well their internally generated FCN no. (These no they use to keep track of our invoices in their system ).
If we want to give them credit memo then we have to specify FCN no. to them for proper processing. These
ERA is recived by EDI 835.
Please suggest me how can we capture these FCN no.  recived through ERA (tweaked payment advice)in SAP.

Figured it out.  Field status group on the unapplied payments account in the new company code had BA required instead of optional.  Not happy that I couldn't find any error messages, BDC sessions, etc. reporting the error.

           I am executing reprint check through transaction fch7, In that Invoice number and document number not printed in payment advice. I have created zscript for that and also assinged regup-belnr and regup-xblnr and used standard program RFFOUS_C.
    other fields from regup table are displayed but above two mentioned fields are not displayed.
          I even tried debugging standard RFFOUS_C prog, in that regup-belnr and regup-xblnr are coming but it is not printed on form.

    Debug you Zscript and check the invoice no and document no. Have assigned that script in FBZP..? check the which form is calling FCH7 in debugger mode..?

  • F110 - Print payment advice only if more than 2 invoices paid

    Hello,
    i have configure a payment method for domestic payment transfer in France. The payment program is RFFOF__V.
    The payment advice form linked to the payment method is a SAP standard one F110_FR_AVIS.
    My customer wants to have the payment advice printed only if we pay 2 or more invoices to a supplier. Or in other words, he doesn't want to have the payment printed for payment for one invoice.
    Is there an easy way to do that (i.e. without ABAP programming!)?

    We are running the ECC 6.0 and we are eperiencing a lot of problems related to this parameters "Payment advice note control".
    Your advice is completely wrong. When we apply your suggestion the process is exactly the same, it means completely wrong. I think that SAP has not really corrected this issue.
    From our side we are tested all alternatives and the problem is still the same. It is a pity.

    I  am printing payment advice through T-Code F-58 where I am getting the invoice reference (which is a long text from Vendor invoice) but its not coming for one business area.
    Please inform if any futher settings need to be done.

    Point1:- Are you using the payment print program standard one or customized one.
    Point2:- Customized program means please check whether they would have hardcoded some business areas.
    Point3:- Please check the variant which you are using.

  • Linkage between Payment advice and Invoice

    What are the ways in which Payment advice can be linked to A/P invoice? i.e. One remittance advice per invoice OR one remittance advice per vendor for given period, combining all the invoices OR One remittance advice per invoice in case of some vendors and combine the invoices at vendor level in other cases. How flexible is this setting?

    Hi,
    this is set in payment run configuration (FBZP), based on payment method and company code. As this is configuration you cannot change this as required.
    You could set it for example 1 to 1, menas 1 payment would have 1 advice.
    Better probably to set at least 3 payments or more will generate payment advice.
    Check payment advice control section in config screen
    "Payment advice note upwards of ... lines
    The number of lines on the payment medium where note to payee information for the business partner can be stored is restricted. In the event that more lines are required, a payment advice note is displayed on the payment medium and a separate payment advice note created.
    This facility can be used for bank transfers, for example."
    At time of payment run the system would consider all open items and based on settigns made in config would create/ not create an advice.

  • Vendor Payment Advice - idoc PEXR2002

    Dear guru,
    My customer would like to receive a payment advice from the bank regarding the vendor payments done.
    It means that after processing the F110 and sent the payments to the bank, we will receive an acknowledgement idoc from the bank in order to inform us that all payments have been correctly processed.
    I have seen that the idoc PEXR2002 can be used as "payment advice" with message type REMADV for instance. But all the cases that i have seen concerned customer payment advices sent directly by them.
    Is anyone know if it is possible to use this idoc in order to retrieve the payment information for vendor and not customer?
    If yes, where can we retrieve those information in SAP? Besides the table AVIK/AVIP, can we check the payment advice integration somewhere else (reports, financial document)? because in our case we just want to retrieve the confirmation of payments but there wont be clearing between payment/vendor invoice because it will have been already done at F110 processing.

    For sending Payment advice by E-Mail, "You need to copy SAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040 and adjust it to write code as per your requirement. This BTE runs for each payment advice note to be sent and in the module, it is mentioned 1=print, 2 = Fax and I=mail, so you can set your priority, that if an E-Mail address is maintained in the vendor master, send mail or if no E-mail address is maintained send Fax, and if both are not possible shoot a Print.
    From Configuration side, you need to maintain the Z copy of SAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040 in FIBF transaction under the Process module of a customer without country or application indicator.

    I have cleared line items of a vendor by making payment through F-53 and subsequently generated the Print Form spoon request through FBZ5. But in the print, line items (cleared Items) doesn't display in Payment advice report. But for the Fiscal Year 2009 line items (Cleared item) was displaying in the Payment Advice report which is now not displaying.Since it is a standard report no changes made. So please suggest how to achieve it.

    Hello,
    In tr. F-53 you post a payment document,
    but to print a check you need to use some check printing program.
    SAP-delivered program is RFFOUS_C and it processes only
    one bank line per payment document.
    Please check the following general information:
    The standard form (of the print program RFFOUS_C) prints the invoice
    items followed by the check.  If the item details overflow to the next
    page, then the first check (eg cheque no. 1) will be voided and you'll
    get the valid cheque on second page (eg cheque no. 2). This is standard
    functionality.
    Also I would request you to recheck your customising in FBZP i.e.
        -> Click on the 'Payment methods in company code' button
        -> Double click on the appropriate 'Pymt meth.'
           -> Click on the 'Pyt adv. ctrl' button
              ¦ Note to payee lines on the form  /               ¦
              ¦                                                  ¦
              ¦ O  restricted to                       98 Rows   ¦
              ¦ O  None                                          ¦
              ¦ O  as many as req                                ¦
              ¦__________________________________________________¦
    - The first option will restrict the number of lines on the form to a
    value from 1 to a maximum of 98.
    - The second option will restrict the number of lines on the form to
    zero.
    - The third option option will not restrict the number of lines on the
    form.
    You may test in the system which among the three options will suit your
    needs. There is a documentation available at the side of each button.
    Also please check whether the problem happens with the standard SAP
    program. You may wish to review the documentation for RFFOUS_C via
    transaction SE38 -> Enter program name -> Select 'Documentation' radio
    button -> Display -> scroll to 'Setting up and changing the SAPscript
    forms (layout sets)'.
    Also you can refer to the parameter `No form summary section' in the
    variant of RFFOUS_C. By setting this indicator, you can prevent the form
    summary section from being printed hence the overflow is avoided and
    thus eliminates the voided check issue. Please refer to F1 Help of this
    field for further information.
    Also please refer to the F1 help on the indicator "Indicator: Do not
    Void any Checks" in the selection screen of payment program RFFOUS_C.

    There are some ways to achieve this functionality. I've seen thousands of customers sending the payment advices generated by the payment medium programs ( RFFO* or PMW ) after running the payment ( f110 ).

  • EBS Payment Advice Post Processing

    Hi SAP Guru
    Can any of you shed some light on me?
    When importing electronic bank statements and the system cannot identify the customer/customer invoice, a payment advice notes are generated for receipt from customer.  Would you advise 2 scenarios
    1. The system created a payment advice without customer number nor reference/document number.  the payment advice is manually updated with the reference number wthin FEBAN but it cannot be postprocessed to get the sytem look for the Open customer invoice based on the reference number (invoice number) manually updated. Would it be possilbe for SAP to postprocess it by searching based on the reference/document number entered?
    2. Although the customer field within payment advice is populatd with value "*" and this cannot be updated within FEBAN. Would you advise how to update a customer number if known in Payment advice?

    Hi you can assign the customer number in the Alternative account number field, found in the line item section of the Payment advice which was created. You can follow these steps,
    Goto -
    1) FEBAN - click on the record for which the Payment advice was created.
    2) Double click on the Payment advice it will take you to FBE3.
    3) Go to change mode, it will ultimately take you to FBE2. There enter the Customer number in the alternative account number field. then save it.
    4) Now come back to the FEBAN screen where the record is displayed and there to post it. It will take you to FB05 screen.

    I have a problem while making payment advice in TC: FBE1. in FBE1, if i can fill document no. field as invoice no. then while doing F-30 system will clear respective invoice automatically.
    But, in FBE1, if i can fill Reference key-1 as invoice no. then while doing F-30 system will not pick up open item and it is not processing. What was the problem?

  • Payment advice required on ACH file to bank

    Hi Folks,
    My client have a requirement to add payment advice to ACH payment file to bank. I'm generating the DME file (ACH payments ) correctly and are able to print payment advices. I want the payment advice to be added to the DME file; When, I unchecked the
    the print control for printing payment advices, the payment advices are not added to the ACH or DME file.
    If I check the flag "individual payment" on vendor master ( means separate payment for each invoice), then the payment advices are added as a separate record on the payment file. However, we don't want individual payment for each invoice in the case of multiple invoices to the same vendor.
    Does any anyone have any idea how to fix this? I search for an OSS note but didn't find any.

    Hi Tony
    Acc to my knowledge, usually we would maintain an advice note against an invoice like a reference. So Std SAP might not able to pick that adivce for multiple invoices. Which might be correct.
    I would suggest you take the help of an ABAPer to see from where it picks up the data during the individual payment and if that same field is getting  populated during the multiple (which might not be happening).
    Please, correct me if my understanding of the process is wrong.

    Our customised vendor payment advice is designed in smartforms, we need to include document types for e.g. if Down paymentu2013KA, Invoice-RE to easy understand. From where can I call this document types? Because in our payment advice for FI we only have the table BSAK cleared items. Here BKPF always KZ and I didnu2019t get the origin document type. In automatic payment program after payment run, in payment list here we can see the document type KA or RE. Like same we need to show in our payment advice.
    Please suggest.

    I suppose based on the same ZUONR and AUGBL, you could find the related BSEG entries and from there, BKPF with the document type... but this needs to be verified whether it's the correct logic.
    Even then, searching BSEG with those fields will be a performance problem unless you can do it via some secondary index.

  • Vendor payment advice with down payment

    Hi,
    A down payment was made to a vendor, without having the invoice yet.
    On the vendor payment advice, this down payment is shown as "invoice".
    I think it should be shown as "advance payment".
    The down payment is listed as a noted item in the vendor open items with document type KA (vendor document).
    How can the down payment be shown as "advance payment" on the payment advice?

    I have created a down payment request for a vendor via transaction F-47.
    I have made a payment run via transaction F110.
    In the payment run, I have 2 invoices and 1 down payment request.
    On the payment advice, which is printed after executed the payment run, the invoices and the down payment are listed as "invoices".
    The down payment request is in fact an "advance payment" , because we have not yet received the invoice.
    Is there a possibility to show it as an "advance payment" instead of "invoice"?

    First i will explain the the process followed by the client...
    Normalnly the client use to get the cheques from the customers not specific invoices...after clear the cheques, we will go for clear the customer..but for tracking the cheques we suggested the client is go for payment advice for tracking the cheques..the process is ..by using FBE1 we use to create the payment advice and will give the check number.. then when we clear the invoice by using F-28..we will give the payment advice and clear the invoice..here problem is customer is clearing properly but pmt advice is not deleting/clearing... why because client is not giving invoice/document number in the payment advice..
    As Normal scenaio, when we update the invoice/document number in the payment advice..after clear the customer(F-28) clearing the custoemer and payment advive aswell...
    My requirement is without giving doc/invoice number in the payment advice...once clear the customer(F-28)..Need to clear customer and payment advice aswell..
    If anybody gone through the same development..Please share the logic...
