Payment order to pick lineitems due on future date then run date

When we use payment order option for any payment method defined it means that :Where a payment order is to be carried out at some time in the future, the line items are not cleared very much earlier than the date on which the payment is made.
However i have a question
Point 1 :Should i run the payment run on a future date.
Ex: If there is an invoice dated 03.03.2010 and due on 15th March 2010,should i run it as on 3rd March and will still the line item be picked up to be paid inthe future.
or Should i run the payment run as on 15th March to get the item picked.
I have another question here ,if i run as on 15th March ,will it pick up lint items which are due on 16th or any date after that.
Where do i define to system ,if i run a payment run it should ppick up line items due upto so and so date and create the payment order.
Please advice.

OK The posting run date is a reference date -
The posting date is when the actual payment posting date will be and the date of the clearing of open items
Docs entered up to field - looks at when documents have been posted i.e. entry date
Items due by - is the due date of documents to be included in the payment run.
Further to this you need to enter the next payment run date. This is used for cash discounts, if a Vendor has a cash discount payment term it will include the invoice for payment if the date used in the next payment run would mean cash discount would not be available.

    I am trying to run the automatic payment program in F110. I am facing the problem with the run date in this transaction. System is not giving me any error if i give the run date as today's date or future date.
    But in run date if i give previous date system is not executing the automatic payment program.
    Eg: Inovice posted on 01.01.2012. It becomes due on 01.01.2012. I gave run date as today's date 04.01.2012 or future date the system is executing correctly picking all invoices. But if i give the run date as previous to the current date i.e., 02.01.2012 or 03.01.2012 then system is not executing this transaction.
    This problem is coming for all company codes. So if there is any setting for restricting run date request you to help me in this regard where can i do such setting.

    Hi.
    My problem is solved.
    Actually client is entering the documents with posting date for earlier months whereas he has entered the documents this month.
    Therefore system is not picking the invoices in F110 - automatic payment program.
    Actually the run date entered is getting copied to the parameters entered i.e., posting date and documents entered upto date.
    Documents are entered in the system this month with posting dates of previous months. Therefore if i give the run date as this month date the run date is getting copied to doc entered upto date in the parameters tab as this month date. So only system is not picking invoices since invoices are entered in the system this month only.
    Now we changed the date for doc entered upto with previous month date and system is picking the invoices.

  • How can I find out user id who has deleted payment order

    Issue : After payment run, the required information has been sent as Idoc to the bank. So, we know the payment order number.   We observed that another payment run also has picked up this vendor invoice and made payment.
    Usually Payment Sent will be marked X until the related information comes in the form of bank statement upload and this amount gets cleared.
    We noticed that bank has made two payments for this amount to this vendor on different dates :- a) when the payment order supposed to be paid as per the payment terms and b) when second paymnet run paid the amount [ this time it got paid directly as there is long due amount ].
    From SAP APP angle, both the payment run worked fine and also the calcaltion of payment terms as well.
    So, we come to conculsion that someone has deleted the payment order from the system. Thats the reason this invoice got picked up by 2nd APP and paid the amount.
    Where we could not find the related entry in REGUH/REGUP tables for this payment order and no document changes.
    Question: How can I find out user id who has deleted payment order. Appreciate any clue / answer for this issue please.

    What if an error occured during the first payment? Have you checked sm13 to check if any update termination occured in the payment program?

  • AP - Payment Process not picking up Invoices

    Hi All,
    I am running the payment process from AP(Payments Manager).I have created 5 Invoices on 12-Dec-2013 and have attached the Pay Group. Once i run the payment process with the pay group none of my invoices has been picked up for processing.I have given the date range from 01-Dec-2013 to 13-Dec-2013
    Please help i need close this task ASAP

    What are the payment terms on the invoices? If these are not IMMEDIATE, and the payment is not due, the system would not pick them up until they are due.
    What is the payment method on the invoice and in the PPR? Are you running the PPR for electronically paid invoices but the invoices are set to be paid by check?
    Are there any holds on the suppliers you are trying to pay?
    What are the other parameters you gave when running the PPR? It helps to check those against the invoice to make sure they would qualify.
    Information about the pararameters you are using and one of the invoices to be selected would be helpful.

  • IHC payment order finally posted but payment request not created

    I created payment order in In house cash  IHC automatically from (intercompany) a vendor invoice using idoctype payext. I can see that the payment order in transaction IHC0 has been finally posted. But table PAYRQ is empty. In transaction BF11 application IHC_EP is unchecked; application IHC is CHECKED. Any clue how to get the payment request created?

    There could be various possiblity that I would double-check.
    1. Is CM activated in your system? If so, it may be due to the fact that the planning level is not assigned to payment request -
    Financial supply chain Management > Cash and Liquidity Management  >Cash Management > Structuring > Groupings >  Define levels in payment requests
    2 Another possibility would be that External account number may not be identical
    Account management > Basic Setting: communication
    Set Up Creation of Payment Requests for Inbound IDoc in FI – Account details)
      External account numbers need to be IDENTICAL keys between IHC and FI within IHC company as a communication method.
    If none of the above is applicable, you may need to debug by reprocessing failed IDOC by BD64 by removing the account assignment in configuration  - Set Up Creation of Payment Requests for Inbound IDoc in FI > Posting Account

  • Payment order clearing with EBS in SAP

    Hi All,
    I am little confused with Payment order clearing with EBS. Actually the process is as below.
    1. We create an invoice for Vendor - FB60 / MIRO
    2. We make the payment through F110, which creates a payment order but this will not post the payment document. Here, the payment order will be generated for payment ref.
    We should clear that Invoice by uploading the EBS.
    I have created a posting rule as below
    Posting rule Z092
    Posting Area 1
    Debit side
    Posting key 25
    Acc Symbol (Debit) - Blank
    Credit side
    Posting key 50
    Acc Symbol (Credit) - Main Bank Account
    Document type - KZ
    Posting type - 1
    Assigned Ext. Trans. Type to posting rule as below
    Ext. Trans. Type 702    +   Posting rule Z092    Interpretation Alog - 29
    The below is the error i am getting while uploading the EBS stmt in FF_5
    I am getting the error saying "Error: (F5 104) Vendor * is not defined in company code XXXX".
    The Accounting entry should be
    Dr  Vendor   A/C
    Cr  Main Bank A/C

    The Problem seems to be that the payment order number is extended with your company code number due to which the system is not recognizing your payment order. Give one more try by just entering the payment order number and deleting the co code and year after that, just like below.

  • Payment Order delted

    Dear All
    For processing vendor payment we run APP and once close the proposal system generate the payment order. Later we upload the payment details in the HSBC website. After that signatory approves the payment and then payments are processed in the bank. Next day when we upload the EBS sytem clears the vendor open items with reference to payment order. Sometime when we load the payment details  in the bank website, some of the payments rejected by the signatory. We then delete the payment order and then rest of the payments are processed.
    System stores the data for payment order in (REGUH and REGUP) and( PYORDH and PYORDP) tables. Once we delete the payment order system remove the data from P* tables but in R* tables information remains there.  But there is no indicator in Rseries tables that payment order is deleted and once the EBS is upload all the information from P series tables are deleted for payment order. Is there any way we can find out which payment order user deletes and which payment order are deleted fromP* series table results in clearing from EBS.
    We need this to print the payment advice only for the payment order which are not deleted by user

  • Payment Order deletion

    Dear gurus,
    I need a help in APP.
    In Autometic payment program our client is using payment orders. While clearing from the bank due to some techinal issue open item has not been cleared but clearing document has been created against the vendor.
    This transaction is happend in 2001 fisical year. That payment orders deleted from the data base. Due to that i am not able to clear the payment order in the vendor invoice.
    In this senario, is there any way to delete the payment order in the vedor invoice.
    While testing in DEV,i deleted the entris from REGUP & REGUH. Even it is not working.
    Please suggest me how to slove this issue.

    Hi Trinath,
    No additional configuration is required. However specify following in co.code pymt method,
    select with a tick
    Foreign Vendor allowed,
    Foreign currency allowed and
    Customer Vendor bank abroad allowed.
    What chris mentioned was the main key. If a particular USD invoice needs to paid in INR,then edit the original invoice and change the payment currency to INR. If you don't see payment currency field, edit vendor/posting key FSG. That's it.

  • Payment order files

    We are using payment orders for a certain payment method. So no clearing takes place when payment is mde - just a payment order is created. And later when we import the bank statements, a clearing document gets created for all the payment orders in the bank statement.
    We noticed that the payment method field (BSEG-ZLSCH) does not get copied to the clearing doc thus created. Any suggestions?

    If you have an invoice and a credit memo for exactly the same amount,
    you can link them by indicating the invoice reference in the credit
    memo (BSEG-REBZG field). In this case, both will be cleared.
    See note 164835 and the F1-Help of the REBZG field :
    If a credit memo refers to a particular invoice item, the terms of
    payment are copied from the cross-referenced invoice item into the item
    currently being processed. This ensures that items due on the same
    date are paid together by automatic payment
    Or, as indicated in the note 305414 :
    Items which contain a payment method in the document cannot be offset
    against items without a payment method for technical reasons..."
    So, if all the open items of the vendor account have the payment
    method entered in the document (BSEG-ZLSCH field) : all these documents
    will be processed together -> if the total amount of all these docs
    give a debit balance the payment program will not generate a payment.
    Now if some documents have the payment method entered in BSEG-ZLSCH
    and others are without payment method, the system will group together :
    - those having the payment method entered : if total amount gives a
        credit balance -> the system will generate a payment
    - those without the payment method entered in BSEG-ZLSCH. In this
       case, the system takes the payment method indicated in the
    customer/vendor master data (for example, the same than this one
    indicated in the other documents) -> the system will generate a payment
    or not depending of the balance.
    So, in your case, if you want to pay just some of the open items of
    a customer account which has a credit balance -> put the payment method
    in the documents that you want to pay in BSEG-ZLSCH (for example 'C')
    and delete the payment method of those you don't want to pay and just
    indicate the payment method 'C' in the customer master data.By this way,
    only those docs will not be paid.

  • Automatic Payment program not picking vendors

    On Monday,user run F110, some vendors are not picked up for payment. When I've checked this vendor master data payment terms 60 days (Net due date from Doc.date) is mentioned. These vendors fall in to due next 06/22/2008.But they are in open items only. The payment method is assigned correctly, no changes were done for past 3/4 months.
    My doubt is Why these are not picked for payment when they are in Open Item in this payment run ?
    Can any one tell me when will these vendors can be picked up for payment ? Do they complete the total period as per payment terms assignement ?

    I've checked the next p/date, it is 06/19/2008 which is less than due date (06/22/2008).
    Is it the reason for not picking ? If I want this vendor to be picked up for payment, Shall I run this once again by giving more than due date like 06/24/2008 ?
    I've checked other vendors also, they fall under due date and got picked up.

    Hello Satya,
        Check the error log of the payment order. It displays the reasons due to which the Payment order was not posted.
    Also check F9B1 transaction to ensure that the posting date has been set correctly.

  • F110 - Payment order number not deleted after Feban posting

    I have problem regarding Payment order deletion. End user creates Bank statement (FF67) using Payment order(F110) number. Then with Feban end user posts document. Normally after Feban posting payment order number disappearing (we can see this number in tables such pyordh, reguh et c.). If we want to see Payment order number (using t-code F110) system gives such error - "No payment orders exist for this selection
    Message no. FZ084
    Diagnosis
    No payment orders exist for the selections made. This may be because the relevant account statement has already been imported".
    But in this case it is not disappeared and end user can use Payment order number second time in t-code FF67 and post in in Feban.

    HI Carlos,
    Since you archived PO, it is stored in archive physical drive not in SAP drive.
    when u use me23n, the archived PO is picking from physical drive and it says "Already archived" message.
    I'm sure there will be no table level entries for the archived documents
    Go to SARA transaction - information system--> Archive Explorer - MM_EKKO and execute.
    Check your PO is listed here.
    So if you dont want to see your PO, then you need to De-activate information system
    in SARA-Information System-->Customizing -
    search infrastructure by Object name and use activate/deactivate icon -
    A question i really need to know - Why you want to delete a particular PO, Archival process is not a small thing and usually it takes place as a MASS activity.

  • Order Recommndation process with due dates

    Hi,
    I am having little difficulties with MRP and recommendation I donu2019t  know if there is way I can turn off the lead time on MRP process. The situation is that when I have a blanket purchase order which is due in future and when a new recommendation comes which due date is prior to my open purchase order system gives me a recommendation to buy yet I have a open purchase order which will cover the recomm.  I do not need to create another po I need to get a message to expedite the po  Or if I can setup the MRP wizard to look at everything regardless of the due dates and lead time and if I am short then give me a recommendation to buy.

    On the step 2 of 4 of the wizard there is the possibility to choose the max cumulative lead time. Did you try to leave it blank or select zero?
    If you want to avoid the cumulative lead time for an item only, then it is better to modify the information in the planning tab of the item master data.
    Unfortunately, it is not possible to avoid looking at the due date, but you can use the properties to select the items you prefer.
    In order to have a pop up that asks to fast track the purchase order some customization is required, however I would suggest to check if the use of the properties can help.
