Payment solution, heeeeelp.

Hi there,
Alright, my PC just broke down and I am desperately in need of a new computer and this time I'm going for the big guns - The Macbook.
The problem is - I am from Sweden but I live and work here in Australia, and will do so for the next 2,5 years. I will have all the money for the computer within 1,5 months, after paying a debt on 2000$ to my parents. But I need the computer now, really really now. 99% for work, I work as a webdesigner.
So, as I am not an permanent resident of Australia I can't go through their payment solution. And I have been trying to call them, but the queue is sooooo long, and since I am quite busy I don't have time to be on the line forever.
So, my question is - Is it possible to buy through the Swedish Macstore and get it shipped here?
All kind of suggestions accepted! If you've got something very good, don't hestiate to contact me,
Your sincerly,
- Linus

Well, you can't buy from the US Apple Store and have it shipped outside of the USA (in fact, not even to US territories).  There are reasons for that in the USA, mostly dealing with credit fraud, though since most credit companies are worldwide and have the same worldwide issues with privacy and fraud, I doubt it's going to be any different in Sweden.
Best hope.  Have your parents pick it up in Sweden and ship it to you.
This being said, you do realize that this forum is a user-to-user forum to assist individuals on how to make their MacBook Pro hardware work better, not how to finance it.  Your posting is filled with personal information way outside of the parameters of this forum.

  • Can I have my own payment solution with family sharing?

We have family sharing and we have a credit card on my husbands account and he's in charge of the family sharing. I would like to be able to choose my own payment solution sometimes and not have to go through the one registered on him all the time.

    Anna,
Buy iTunes gift cards, and redeem them to your account.  As long as your own account has a credit balance, any purchases made by you will be charged to your own credit balance, and will not hit the Family Organizer's credit card.
Here is the document for your reference:
    Family purchases and payments
"After you set up your family, any time a family member initiates a new purchase it will be billed directly to your account unless that family member has gift or store credit. First, their store credit will be used to pay the partial or total bill. The remainder will bill to the family organizer's card."

  • Open Source solution for Map Display on Web

    Hi
Does anybody knows an Open Source solution for displaying Maps on Web. Something like the MapXtreme equivalent of Open Source.
    Regards,

There are all sorts of solutions for displaying maps on the Web, starting from JPG files and going up from there. Would you reject JPG because it isn't open source? Or did you really mean to ask for no-payment solutions?

  • Finnish online payments platform and mailing

    Hello.
I got new client request to create entirely new website.
I got two must have requirements from my client for new website solution.
1 First support "suomen verkkomaksut" which is online payment gateway for all common finnish payment solutions. This however it don't appear as supported solution directly in business catalyst when settin up payment gateway
2 Second is Itella mailing app which automatically generates mailing information for orders made. includes auto generated links to itella parcel tracking service along shipping manifest
I know that these features are available for other platform, but I would prefer to use Adobe solution since it is far more versatile and has more functionality.

Your basic answer is no to both. You won't be able to use them in BC.

  • Accepting Merchant Account Payments w/FormsCentral

I have clients that sell professional services with 6 or fewer service offerings. Typical shopping cart solutions seem to be a hassle and more for multiple item online stores.
I did not have a good experience with FomrsCentral in the summer of 2012, finding it lacking in design freedom. Being a graphic designer and not a programmer I am able to design great sites using Adobe Muse, but Muse falls way short on application functionality widgets that are popular and in demand, one being forms regardless of the recent upgrade. I am reconsidering FormsCentral or will consider any solution this post may provide. The recent Muse upgrade now offering forms anywhere is a great addition but there is still a lot missing. I have 2 questions:
1.) I want to allow form submitters to upload a file "Attachment" how can I make this happen?
2.) I need an easy to create payment solution that I can integrate with Muse that allows me to set-up payment for services using a regular merchant gateway solution other than PayPal. Is FormsCentral payment feature only for PayPal Premier and Business accounts or can other merchant processing gateways solutions be used? If not, is there another solution that anyone can recommend?

    Hi,
Thanks for your interests in FormsCentral. Here are the answers to your questions:
    1. Yes, FormsCentral supports File Attachements. You can simply add a file attachment field to your form bye selecting the File Attachment widget in "Add Item" pane.
    2. As for payment gateway, FormsCentral supports PayPal only at the moment.
    Thanks,
    Wenlan

  • Why is my payment from bank account STILL pending?

Hi I recently withdrew money from my bank account to my Paypal account and it says should of been in my account on July 31st. It is now the 2nd of August and I'm still waiting. The money is not in my bank account either. Is this normal?

Hi, well with those ''Pending'' i got missunderstanding too, and there now i got big headache, because that way need change all my as seller politics. I selling software, so my payments i receiving is on held for like a month, my return pulicy is a 7days after item ordered, that enought, for software.Well no one made any returns yet. But yesterday i was thinking, actually money is on held they not my in any case yet, so i ship after payment cleared only, after 20+ days.Actually resended mass mail to all my customers abiut changes. To avoid problem which i get with Skrill before, when i was added return term 1 month, and there was biggest mistake, because someones just copied dvd's, and simply returned(actually noone payment solution can help with it). So there for our software no returns, or max term is 7 days after after item received(if package broken, or item broken)All packages with tracking codes, priority, users can track from a to z. All buy no any issues, from any payment gateway we using. Items also expensive , enought, at least they working, and no any addds, or surveys, like offering like 99% software makers Also selling in ebay, about that its ok, because its clothing , and similar. And again 100% positive as seller Most fair must be if i decline all orders, because got message back, ''kinda weird'', when i posted mail messages to customers about shipping, which gonna delay like for 20d

  • Inbound Logistics:  What are the best options to capture freight costs?

We attempted to implement a freight payables solution which was built on Inbound Deliveries> Inbound Shipments> Inbound Shipment Cost Documents.  The PO line items were flagged with a conf.control key which made the above inbound documents relevant.
Very long story short, we had to remove this functionality because of two major issues:
    1.     The Inbound Deliveries were created with incorrect quantities some of the time.  When the Inbound Deliveries were created with incorrect quantity those errors caused major problems (e.g., over accrual of freight cost to the tune of several millions of dollars!!!).
    2.     Also, when the Inbound Deliveries were created with incorrect quantity MRP went berserk (e.g., when the IB delivery has the wrong quantity that shows up in MD04 and the planners are left scratching their heads wondering why the supplier is shipping so much or so little).
I wonu2019t get into the details of how the Inbound Deliveries were being created but suffice to say they were manually entered by the supplier without the benefit of an EDI transaction- it was more of a manual entry- hence the data accuracy problem.
The point of this post is to gain feedback from other customers who have implemented an inbound freight payables solution with success & understand what processes were used to make your project successful.
    For example, if I had a u201Cwish listu201D Iu2019d request the following:
    1.     The IB delivery document type Iu2019d like to use should be non-MRP relevant.  This will eliminate the confusion that occurred when planners run MD04 and see all of the shipment notifications.  Also, if the MIGO_GR transaction is used to receive the POu2019s, they will see the quantities on the PO, not on the IB delivery.  This would be good for us from a business continuity stand point.  However, if the IB delivery is not MRP relevant, than your GR does not accrue the freight cost defined on the SCD which short circuits the entire point of having these documents.
u2022     Q:  Have you had any success implementing an IB freight solution with minimum impact to planning / inventory / operations?
    2.     As mentioned above, the data accuracy of the IB delivery was problematic.  Because of this issue we have changed our thinking so that we would require a EDI ASN to be sent from our supplier to our SAP system.  Using EDI we feel that greater accuracy would be obtained since the quantities defined would map to what is being picked or at least aligned with what we would expect to be invoiced for.  The problem is we donu2019t know how EDI capable our suppliers are.
u2022     Q:  Has anyone had success implementing this with your suppliers on a large scale?
    3.     Are there other inbound freight payment solutions that Iu2019m not thinking about u2013 custom or other that you have implemented & can share some of the specifics about?  Iu2019d enjoy hearing about them.  Since we are re-thinking what we implemented Iu2019m open to any suggestions.
Thanks so much for your time!
    Rich Wortmann

    Chandra,
Thank you for your reply.  I'm aware of the freight condition approach you suggest & the ability to define the carrier in the freight condition.
We explored this functionality in the past.  The problem/limitations we've experienced were as follows:
    1. Essentially you have to know your freight cost & the carrier by PO line item at the time the PO is created.  Both of these variables we typically cannot predict in our environment.
    2. We have a lot of situations where the PO is considered a u201Cblanketu201D where it will remain open for a month up to a year.  Knowing the entire freight cost for these PO's once they are created is impossible to predict so to support the freight conditions we would have to change our business process which would be a big effort for our organization.
    3. Our suppliers ship product based on multiple PO's / PO lines, again it is impossible to predict what the per unit freight cost would be at the time a PO is generated.
These factors are what led us to the IB delivery solution which handles each one of these scenarios quite well provided you have good data when the IB delivery is created.
Regarding your second post:  Thanks!  This information is helpful.
    Sincerely,
    Rich Wortmann

  • Best way to implement FREE purchase?

    Hi,
I have purchases that are free for logged in users. What's the best way to implement a no-payment solution? Would having the payment fields hidden and COD auto-selected if the amount field is 0.00 a good idea? Is there a better way anyone has implemented this? And how about security flaws?

    Hi
Here is an article about "no cost" orders
COD payment method will not work for zero value orders , you will need to use the Free payment method described
    in this article http://kb.worldsecuresystems.com/893/bc_893.html

  • Standard workflow for FB60 vendor invoice

    Dear experts,
I am looking for a standard workflow for transaction FB60. Is that WS00400012(BO: BSEG)?
I just wonder if I could check the link between a transaction and business object.
In SWO1, BSEG is noted as "Accounting document line item". So i am not sure if it is for Vendor Invoice.

There are several standard workflows for vendor invoices.  WS00400012 is for release of payment. If that is what you are looking for, it is fine. But go to the customizing to find more information about both the release for payment solution and the release for posting solution from SAP. Can't recall the customizing path now, but it is in Financial Accounting, I think the path is Accunts Receivable and Payable, then Business Transactions, and there you will at least find the Release for Payment part of it. The customizing screens are partly common, but the help available for the customizing nodes is most likely specific for each solution. I have never set up release for posting, so I don't know it.

  • Credit card paymens via a vendor

What steps do I need to take to set up the process for our credit card payment vendor to accept via Forms Central? Many thanks.

    Randy,
It is understandable that you can’t include all payment gateways. However this is not the right way from  business point of view  to accept only  PayPal  gateway for Adobe FormsCentral. At least you should make alternative payment solutions  to use 10-20  most popular payment gateways companies.
Here is the June 2013 list:  http://www.topcreditcardprocessors.com/rankings-of-best-payment-gateway-companies
    I myself using FirstData gateway.

  • SRM 7.0 for client presentation

    Hi,
Currently my client is using SAP ECC MM for procure to payment solution. Now we are trying to convince our client to implement SAP SRM for web base procurement solution. We are planning to set up demo SRM system for presentation . For your information, my client has licence for ECC, EP and PI system. I have few doubts:
    1.     Does SAP SRM 7.0 IDES version available at this moment ? What is the latest SRM IDES version ?
    2.     Can we request SAP to provide SRM software for a limited period, so that we can install in a demo server for presentation ?
    3.     As per my knowledge, now SRM and ECC one client system available at this moment. Does this one client SRM is similar to
SRM 7.0 and ECC in two different client ?
    4.     Can I work on SRM 7.0 without  EP ?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regds,
    Jennifer

    Hi Jennifer,
-> 1. Latest SRM IDES version would be SRM 7.01 (EhP1), we do not use it though we've set-up a system ourselves as you described in point 2.
-> 2. If you're a SAP Partner you should be able to do so.
-> 3. SRM can be configured in 4 technical scenarios: Stand-alone (non SAP-backend, not applicable), Classic, Extended-classic and one-client. Every scenario has different capabilities for further details please have a look at: https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/SRM/Technical+Scenarios]
-> 4. Yes you can use SRM 7.0 without Enterprise Portal. You need Ehp1 or SP06 or higher to do so.
    Hope this helps.
    Kind regards,
    Tim

  • Can I replace my desktop PC with an IPad Air?

I was looking to replace my aged Desktop PC and started with laptops that I can put photoshop and word on.  I use Photoshop for my business.  Then suddenly I realised maybe I'm stuck in the past and that an IPad Air could be a great replacement using different app/programs for my purposes.  I need to be able to create images that I can print off and also need to create customer orders for my business when I do craft shows away from home. I already use Square as a credit card payment solution on my Iphone, so having an IPad would make that transaction a lot more professional looking.  Can I get rid of my desktop?

I've been struggling with this, and I think your focus should be on file types and storage.  Other than the obvious (processing power and apps that don't exist on iOS), these are the biggest issues you'll run into if you give up your home computer.
The iPad and iPhone really don't have any onboard storage for anything but photos, music, video, etc...  They sync iPhoto and iTunes (along with Mail and soe other apps) with iCloud for centralized storage on the Internet.  This is obviously nice because all of your Apple mobile devices should be able to access those items (synched to the latest versions) without any extra effort on your part.  Most of us know this.  What many people don't understand are documents in iCloud.  This gets much, much trickier.
If you give up your home computer, you'll need a place to store all of your archived files that aren't your iPhoto and iTunes library, and almost all files you create with non-Apple apps.  Some examples of typically archived/other file cagegories include: back tax returns, financial records, medical records, employment documents, letters, articles, publications, etc...  These all exist in some kind of file type, examples of which are: PDF (Adobe or otherwise), XLS (Microsoft Excel), PAGES (Apple Pages), DOC (Microsoft Word), QBA/QBW or something like that (Quickbooks), etc...
Here's the most important point: as of today (iOS 7.1) your Apple mobile devices generally ONLY natively support Apple's iWork apps for documents in iCloud, and they ONLY support Pages, Numbers and Keynote - NOT EVEN PDFs.  Now, I say generally, because they added support for saving PDFs on your home computer to iCloud via Preview, but you still CANNOT access or work with them on your mobile devices via a native Apple app.*  One can only assume they implemented it so other home macs can at least sync with those documents via iCloud.
What does this mean?  It means that as of now, if you give up your home computer, you will have a place to store your photos, music, movies, etc..., and even your Pages, Numbers and Keynote files, but almost EVERYTHING ELSE will need a separate storage device (and remember, you probably won't be able to work with them on your mobile device).  Also remember, there's a limit to iCloud storage space before you have to pay a fee - and most space is taken up by the device's backup image.
Most people who want to try ditching their Mac try to rely on Dropbox or something similar for additional file storage.  The Dropbox mobile app at least allows you to share files if you need to send them to someone.  But again, how will you work with them?  It gets very tricky the more file types you have and the larger the archive you have.  If you have a large file archive, you may need a backup service, which may or may not give you the synching and sharing features of Dropbox.  Security is also a big issue surrounding Internet based storage for some people.  You should research that carefully before choosing.  Also, keep in mind some of these solutions are free, but most charge a fee.
*Note: you CAN work with some other file types in iOS using 3rd party apps (e.g., Adobe Reader for PDFs), but they may or may not sync with iCloud for their storage.  Even if they try, there have been a LOT of problems in this area.  I personally would not call it a reliable solution right now - you can do your own Internet search on the issue and decide for yourself.  Also, while you can technically ACCESS PDFs via some native Apple iOS apps (e.g., mail and iBooks), Preview does not exist on iOS so you can't work with them (although it appears at least that's coming for iOS 8).
In conclusion, ditching your Mac is still tricky for many if not most people.  It involves forgetting about the old file-system structure on your desktop and accepting the fact that your files will likely sit in many different locations in "the Cloud" depending on the file type and size.  However, if you aren't constrained by desktop only apps or file archives, you can probably jump right into it.  Adobe and other companies whose apps are indespensible for some people are providing cloud-based solutions for what used to be desktop only activities.
This is my understanding of the current Apple mobile ecosystem and the issues that surround ditching your Mac.  Please feel free to correct any errors and/or add to the discussion.  Thanks and hope this helps.
