Paypal payment card ending?????

Has anyone out there heard that the Paypal payment card, the one you use in stores, is ending as of June 30th??? I received an email supposedly from Paypla stating this. I cannot find anything on Paypal announcements or the community boards pertaining to this. Please help if you can. I have emailed Paypal but, have not heard back as of yet. Thanks ahead of time for any help.Joe

With Payments Standard, when a customer pays with a credit card as a guest (no PayPal Account), they are "not" automatically returned to your web site.  This is because, PayPal is offering the customer the opportunity to open a PayPal Account.  PayPal is a corporation first and attracting new business by signing up customers takes precedence.  In order for the customer to return to your web site, they must choose to do so by clicking on the Return to Merchant link.  This behaviour is by design and there's no options or features to force the customer to return to your site. If the customer has a PayPal Account and logs in to complete the checkout process, the customer will be automatically returned to your web site once they complete the checkout process.  There's no reason to recruit them as they already have a PayPal Account.  If using Payments Advanced, the PayPal Checkout Screens are presented to the customer in a window or frame while they are on your web site.  When the customer completes the checkout process, they still have the opportunity to open a PayPal Account however, when the widow or frame closes, they basically are still on your site. With Express, the customer must have a PayPal Account so that scenario is no brainer. With Pro, you control the customer checkout experience as there are no redirects, the customer remains on your site the entire time.

  • Cannot Add Funds PayPal Credit Card

Sony. Is a absolute joke. This issue has been going on for FOUR YEARS for some users. And now. Last month. I brought like 3 games. Then.  All of a sudden. Cannot add funds using PayPal. Says credit card invalid. Ah. Yeah right. i have used paypal all this year. But now mysteriously. It doesnt work. I spent the past month a good $1,000 on ebay. With paypal. But now magically sony doesnt take my paypal. So i use credit card. Says card not valid. This is through the webisite on computer. I go to PS4. I try it. Says address not valid or something. Seriously. So for what. Its June. So for six months. I have used PayPal no problem. Now magically sony decides to say not valid. My credit card doesnt expire until 2016. Thats what. 2016. My address is correct. Some users say sony changed things. So you have to put your address exactly like your statement. Dont know if this is true or not But why has it worked for six months. Not now. I love playstation. I have all systems. But I love playstation the best. But guess what. I ended up going onto my xbox one. And buying, pre ordering $500 worth of games. Guess what. My paypal worked straight away. Ironic dont you think. Me and other gamers options is to only buy PSN cards. But ironically. You can only have $150 in your wallet at once. Why. Thats just dumb. Considering games are $100. I was all cashed up this month. As I got some money from my grandfather who past. I was ready to put $1,000 in my wallet. But guess what. Limit to $150. So obviously sony doesnt want our money. But makeing us jump through hoops. This is without a doubt the most unproffesional. Annoying. Frustrating thing ever. And it keeps saying. Address not valid for paypal. You serious. I spent $1,000 on ebay. But now you say my address is wrong. So I guess all these parcels I have been getting from ebay, is wrong address, even though I am getting every single parcel. You know what sony. I am done with you. I dont care if the main reason I turned to sony is the xbox one keeps crashing to dashboard. I dont care if ps4, has better grahpics, controller. you know what. I am going to sell my ps4 on ebay for $1. And be done with sony. I am done with it. And going back to xbox one. Xbox one may have its faults. But at least I can use paypal and a credit card. So what. I am limited to buying $50 PSN cards from ebgames. Thats so much fun. So I want to buy 5 games. So lets see. I have to buy what. Games are $100 in australia. So I have to buy 20 PSN cards. Oh. What fun. Scratching all those cards, putting in all the codes. A hour later. Then finally i can buy games. Which takes me what. A minute to do on xbox one. As paypal, credit card works on xbox one. You think I am just ranting. Go google search. This has been a issue for four years. I am done with sony. This is a joke. Sony is the most unproffesional company ever. You fanboys may live in denial. But its the truth. And dont tell me to check cards, information. What part are you missing. For past six months. Same paypal, same card, worked perfectly. Nothing has changed. The only thing that changes was. I brought three $100 games at once. Now this credit card information invalid crap. You lost so much money out of me this past months sony. I got like $7,000 from my grandfather passing. And guess what. Its now all going to xbox one. How about them apples sony. How about them apples.

I got mine fixed. I emailed support. Took forever many emails, and eventually they fixed it. Basically they said. Some security thing, they stop funds. So they didnt say outright. But basically from what they said is. They have a limit each day on what you can spend in store. Already the PSN wallet has a limit of $150. Thats all you can add. When my account stopped working. I spend like around $300. As I brought 3 games. But one of those games was say $160, as it was like a special edition thing, so I assume if you either spend over the $150, or max $300. It stops. Which is just wrong.   So say for example. Three new releases where out today. And we all wanted to buy them. But we cannot. What is it. per day. or do I have to buy one game, wait afew hours, then buy another. The support person didnt say any amount, or what exactly it was, but from just what they where saying, it sounds like they have a limit on what you can spend each day, but they werent allowed to say.  I also have a xbox one and Wii U. And its so much easier buy games on Wii U and xbox one systems.  Not to mention the headache with the new hard drive update with the Nyko Data Bank on PS4, i updated, and cannot use rest mode, and cannot play disc games, thanks sony, i upraded to a 4TB hard drive, but now i cannot play discs, or rest mode. Why cant you be just like Wii U and Xbox ONe and use external hard drives. Xbox one lets you use upto 16TB,  SO yeah. I eventually got it fixed. I was going to buy all my multi platform games on ps4, and only exclusives on xbox one, but you know what, from now on, I am buying all my multi platform games on xbox one, and Only buying exclusives on ps4,  Dont get me wrong. I am not a fanboy. And there are things I dont like about xbox one, or wii u. You cannot use a USB headset on them, but you can with PS4, as I use the Kraken USB headset on ps4, But apart from that. Xbox One controller is better, the ps4 is to noisy, and other above reasons,  And not only that. I am in Australia. And out internet, i can download on xbox one, 3GB a hour, which is around the same speed i get on PC Steam, on ps4, i am lucky to downoad 1GB a hour.

  • Paypal Plus Card? Where are my points? View Card Details?

Hi, I signed up and was approved for a Paypal Extras Mastercard. Received it in the mail a few days ago and activated it. I have found there FAQ page to be 100% useless. I don't know if they wrote those answers for an outdated version, but its awful. PayPal should fire every single person involved in the credit card portion of their website design. We're dealing with money. I like to be 100% sure of what is going on. But with this PayPal credit card, I don't have a clue. https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/paypal-extras-mastercard-faq -On the PayPal summary page, it says I have a "PayPal Plus Card"? What is that? I have a PayPal Extras Mastercard, not a "PayPal Plus Card". -There is no "View Card Details" link -There is no "Account Overview" page -Why does it take so long for a transaction to even show up? (3+ days)? Where can I see pending transactions? -Why am I not receiving reward points? That's literally the only reason I signed up for this card. -Why am I still unable to find out when my monthly payments are due? -Why are there no text/email alert options like my other credit card company has (USAA)? -Why does the webpage Title say "Error - Credit Overview" when I click on the arrow to the right of the "PayPal Plus card" (whatever that is)? -There customer support webpages say the following:"Sorry, our online help information is temporarily unavailable. We’re trying to fix it right away. You can use the help links listed here, or try your search later." Awesome. And for what it's worth- I'm not some 95 year old man. I'm very computer literate. And this is probably the first website I have ever had trouble navigating. Before I got this credit card, I was 100% satisfied with paypal. Now I'm just sitting here scratching my head. This website is an atrocity. My frustration is not an exaggeration. I'm trying to build up my credit and I don't want to be **bleep** over due to a poorly designed website. I would appreciate any help.

I feel your pain, I also just got my card. and can't find anyweher online to find my info.  I've got two paypal accounts business and personal and neither one has the info.  They suck bigtme and they clain to help businesses MY **bleep**!!!!

    Hi all,
I noticed one thing that in IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS (ie creation of sales order)  we have a bdcdata populated for payment cards (for header in VA01) .But when we are changing sales order by IDOC_INPUT_ORDCHG (change sales order VA02) we have no bdcdata populated for updating payment cards ( like CCNUM ) though we are passing these details through IDOC.
Can anyone tell me why bdcdata through idoc posting is getting populated in VA01 but not through VA02 . We can change payment card dara manually in VA02  why cant we achieve the same through idoc.
Please help me as updating payment card data through idoc in VA02 is my requirement .
Do i need to populate it by writing code in an exit in IDOC_INPUT_ORDCHG.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks and Regards

  • Entering payment cards information in sales order

    Hi Folks,
I am uploading the payment cards information in sales order using transaction VA02. I need to check if there is an already existing payment card in order to know the line number to enter the new card information. I know that FPLTC table has the information about the payment cards. How can I read the already existing lines and pass the new card information in the new line?
    Thanks,

  • PayPal payment issue.

I was a unlimited world subscriber for the last 5-8 years (long enough not to remember). My monthly subscription payment would always be charged from PayPal. On Aug 24, 2013 skype sent me an email that my subscription was cancelled due to a PayPal issue. There was no issue with PayPal for the last 10 years. Now when I return back to re-activate my subsription it appears $13.99/month while I always paid $9.99/month. It looks like a setup to make me pay a higher monthly fee. At the moment I am trying to find skype's customer support email. They hide it pretty well. Anyone can provide their email?

    Hello,

  • Does itunes accept the paypal credit card?

I saw that paypal offers credit cards now.
Would itunes (store) accept this credit card as the only payment method? I would like to get rid of my traditional (not paypal) credit card.
At the moment my paypal account works for me but I also had to connect my (not paypal) credit card.
    Bye

Thanks Chris, however, I guess the convenience of having pre-entered CC details is great. What I missed in this thread earlier (what Probie said), is to log out from the App store. I didnt realize what it meant until i scrolled down iin the App store and saw the option to 'Sign in/ Sign out. Earlier I didnt  even know it existed.
Now I make it a point to log out from the App store before handing the device to my son. Other than 'not providing' CC details, I think thats the best way to control download of apps.

  • HT202631 Paypal payment method

Hi. As for the Paypal payment option, can I use my Paypal balance to buy apps from the App Store or music from iTunes? Is it possible to use that method of payment without having any credit or debit cards linked to my Paypal account?

    Hi,
    you create your payment methods in the IMG;
Financial Accounting > Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable > Business Transactions > Payments > Incoming/Outgoing Payment Creation > Define Payment Methods
and you assign them just one line bellow:
Define Specifications for Paying Company Code

  • The payment card you entered is not valid in Philippines.

    Hello.
iTunes won't let me purchase any apps because this error keeps appearing.
"The payment card you entered is not valid in Philippines. Please provide a valid payment card for Philippines."
I was trying to purchase an app when iTunes notified me that the debit card that I was using was about to expire so I made changes about the expiry date and such, but to no avail, it keeps on nagging me.
The debit card that I am using is my dad's and he is currently in the US, I was assuming I only have to change my billing info into his current address. It still doesn't work. I also tried changing my region from the Philippines to the US but none of it work.
My last purchase was on the 30th of June and I think a few days prior to that was when iTunes Philippines was established. I don't know if this is a relevant information but I will appreciate any help.
I'm at wits' end. I badly needed to buy this app!
    Help!

This may seem a little late but I finally made it work!
I changed my region from the Philippines to the United States then iTunes prompted me to 'create' an Apple ID so I did and entered my information in the required fields. Hopefully now, everything is beautiful and nothing hurt.
    @varjak paw:
Thanks for trying to help, though. I really appreciate it.

  • Firefox does not allow page re-directing for paypal payment

firefox does not allow page re-directing for paypal payment. How do I fix this problem. It occurs with several sites where it was not a previous problem. When I press "allow", I get returned to the very beginning of the order process.

I really appreciate your (spookily timely) help. Yes, I did try safe mode once.
The problem with testing this problem is that I have to have something in the cart to buy, and if it works I've bought it.
I was hoping to find that someone else had already done the logic and experimenting part, and the solution was just 'out there'. I did get one response (from Daz3d) that said Firefox had been having a problem with PayPal on their site, but no details.
And as soon as I buy what I need using a credit card, as far as they're concerned the problem is done.

  • Issue with part delivery of orders containing payment card lines

We have a problem with part deliveries of orders containing payment card authorizations.
Our customers can buy items in our webshop paying with credit cards. The webshop is connected to our payment service provider who authorizes the complete amount of each order. The order data including authorization data is transferred from the webshop to our SAP ERP (ECC 5.0), where order documents are created, delivered and billed.
For example, an order was created with 3 items:
    A for 5 u20AC
    B for 10 u20AC
    C for 20 u20AC
For now, we create 3 payment card authorization lines according to those items.
    Line 1 5 u20AC
    Line 2 10 u20AC
    Line 3 20 u20AC
Item C is temporarily not available, item A and B can be delivered and billed. The system now takes authorization line 3 (as 5 u20AC + 10 u20AC = 15 u20AC < 20 u20AC) for the first billing. The authorized amount of this line is completely consumed.
When item C becomes available and is delivered and billed, the creation of the FI-document fails because there isn't enough authorization amount left.
The creation of 3 payment card authorization lines is not mandatory for our business, creating one line for the complete amount would be as fine. But how can we avoid the complete comsumption of the authorization line then? Or do you have any other suggestions / best practices how to deal with part deliveries of orders containing payment card authorizations?
    Regards.

    Hello fridaynights,
It would be worrisome to receive an email notification that we were unable to authorize your payment method, especially if the payment method appears to be fine on your end.
Generally speaking, when items ship separately from one order, we will authorize the full amount of the order when the order is placed. Authorizations may expire after a few business days, but as items ship individually, your card would be authorized and charged for the individual shipments.
Using the email address you registered with the forum, I was able to locate your order with the canceled amiibos. It would appear that we were unsuccessful in authorizing funds on the card on multiple occasions, and so the remaining amiibos were canceled. I apologize for any trouble or displeasure that this cancelation may cause you. I would encourage you to keep an eye on these amiibos on BestBuy.com for changes in their availability.
As it seems there was an issue with your My Best Buy MasterCard, I would encourage you to contact Citibank, the issuer of your My Best Buy MasterCard account, at 1-888-574-1301 for further inquiries into this authorization issue.
If you should need further assistance, please let me know.

  • PayPal payment refunded by Skype

In August I paid a first monthly sub to Skype by PayPal, no problem.
Came to renew it on the 9th September, and chose the 12 month option.  Paid by PayPal, which went through, but it was immediately refunded by Skype.  The refunded payment was however added to my monthly limits total for PayPal, as if the payment had been accepted, so preventing my trying again.
I got onto Skype chat support, and was told there was a problem with my PayPal account.  I had made other payments elsewhere recently (and successfully made others within hours of this conversation), but I phoned PayPal who assured me there was no problem with my account.
I went back to Skype chat support and explained that there was no problem with my PayPal account, and no reason from PayPal's point of view why Skype should issue a refund.  The operator soon got into 'stuck record' mode, repeating that if there was a glitch with accepting PayPal payments, that was something I'd have to take up with PayPal, ignoring my assurances that I already had, and refusing to tell me what precise record of the transactions led him to that conclusion.  From the operator's point of view this was easier I suppose than actually checking out Skype's set-up.
Eventually paid for a single month's sub using a debit card.
Seems to me there's a glitch with Skype's set-up somewhere, and I'd like to avoid a repetition.
    Any ideas?
