  • Australia Payroll *Long Service Leave*(LSL)

    Hi Everyone,
Just a quick question regarding Australian Payroll.
So currently LSL counts/activates once an employee reaches 7 years. Upon checking the LSLPR in PC_Payresult the years of service
seems to be calculating incorrect because upon checking the data specs IT41 it should be reading daytype Z2 instead of daytype 01.
I tried to check where is this 7 coming from it points me to P2RQ_LSLPR. But we have no access in production (very strict)
Do you guys have an idea where should I look regarding this LSL aside from P2RQ_LSLPR, I might be overseeing something in the big picture.
So upon running the PY, my LSL is counting is Zero.(CRT table)
    Current date - 28.04.2014 = less than 7
    Current date - 18.02.2002 = over than 7
PS: This is not a master data issue.
    Regards,

    hello sikindar,
my 'deduction from date' is coming right i.e it calculates 10 yrs after date. But the problem is my Start date. As i mentioned my Deduction Start Date is taking the date on which i generate the Quotas. This problem is for all the leave types.
My requirement is that the employee accrues leaves right from day one (date of hiring). So my Dedcution start date shuld be the Date of Hiring. But its not happening that way. My deduction start date is coming as the date on which i generate my Quotas.
Am working on Negative Time Management. Pls gurus kindly help me resolve this.
    rgds,

  • Employment Status at Start of Payroll Period

    Hi all,
I have a requirement where certain amount is to be deducted from all employees who work for even a single day in the month i.e. if the employee leaves the organisation in say April and his full and final settlement is being run in May, then this amount will be deducted for April and not for May.
I have made a rule to fetch the amount from Constants table. Within this i have used operation STATU to get the employment status from IT0000. But the issue is that the operation STATU gives the employment status of the employee for End-date of For Period. And hence I am unable to get the amount deducted for the final period (for April in the example quoted above).
Please help me to get the employment status at the begining of For Period. Or if there is some other way to do it, please help.
    VK

    Hi Michael,
We deduct Rs. 250 per employee per month towards certain fund. This amount is deducted as long as the employee is in service. In the month of leaving service also this amount is to be deducted. But in case final settlement for the employee is being run say 2 month after his separation, then the amount should not be deducted for the months after his separation.
    Regarding your queries:
    1. I want to run payroll for May with retro for April. The amount already deducted in April (For April in April) should remain as it was and for May in May, there should not be any deduction.
    2. Since this can be done through reading employement status at the start of payroll period, I want to read the status at the start of payroll period (For Period).
    3. This depends, there may be some cases where we need to run payroll long after employee has left service.
    4. The amount is deduction towards certain fund which is fixed Rs. 250 per month till employee is in service.
    Waiting for some positive response.

  • My bank (Chase) and my wife's payroll provider (ADP) say I can longer pull our statements because of incompatibilities between Adobe Reader and Safari. The Apple site says it is not responsible for for 3rd party software. Adobe says go back to Safari 5.0.

My bank (Chase) and my wife's payroll provider (ADP) say I can no longer pull our statements because of incompatibilities between Adobe Reader and Safari. The Apple site says it is not responsible for for 3rd party software. Adobe says go back to Safari 5.0. Apple dosen't let me download Safari 5.0; so what do I do. The bank had me download Chrome, and I can now download my statements. but what a pain. Any suggestios?

    Back up all data.
Quit Safari. In the Finder, select Go ▹ Go to Folder... from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Copy the line of text below into the box that opens, and press return:
    /Library/Internet Plug-ins
From the folder that opens, remove any items that have the letters “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then launch Safari and test.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
    ~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again.

  • UK Payroll - Absence history from old EE number to new one.

    Hi,
I am supporting the UK payroll and I am wondering if someone faced transfering the sickness history from old personnel number to the new one.
The only option which I just came to is using the IT 0572 but this is really lots of work because of the diffrent sickness schemes used.
To described the situation. The EEs were made as a leaver on the old company and were hired with the new EE number on the new company.
The thing is that they need to keep the absence history to calculate the correct sickness entitlement.
Please let me know if you have any other solution which could be used and it is much more safier.
    Thanks.
    Lenka

OK - what you need to do is this:
Erase the contact again from Contacts.
Now, go to Messages app, and start a new conversation.   Begin to type the person's name who you deleted above.    You SHOULD see it in your list, and to the right you SHOULD see an exclamation point with a circle around it.     Click that - you now have the option to remove that contact from the SMS cache.
Go back and repeat until you are absolutely sure you no longer see his name in your list.
Now, do again but this time type the + key first.   You will see all mobile #'s from your contacts along with all #'s in the cache.   Make sure you don't see this person's # in there with the name Other.
Once you do both of these, the # has been purged from your phone.
Add the contact back, correctly, and it should work.

  • UK Payroll PU12 Issues

Hello Friends:   I have issues in UK Payroll PU12.  Wage types in SAP are not going to Ceridian file.  Mostly happening with IT0014 wagetypes.  I noticed that if I generate the File layout in PU12 then the wage types are going to Ceridian file.  However, not advisable to generate the FileLayout without Code changes in PU12.  Is there anyway I can resolve this.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi - just had a new iphone4 delivered. I have also been waiting for about 3 hours now for activation. From what i have researched it can take anywhere between 1 and 48 hours to activate (seems a bit extreme in this instant modern world!)
If you are upgrading form an iphone 3G or 3Gs (like me) - apparently the simm activation is automatic after you have connected and synced from your itunes. So you shouldn't need to do anything.
There is a page on the o2 website that allows you to manually transfer to the new mini simm: http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk/simswap/swap/validatempn
But even this does not speed up the process, it can still take a while... I'll let you know how long it it eventually took.

  • Report to track changes to infotypes prior to running the  payroll interfac

wants a report to track changes to infotypes prior to running the  payroll interface.  The attached report looks like it should work but it returns nothing.  Is there config that turns on "Track Changes": for select infotypes?  If so, can they be activated for key infotypes so this report will run?
    Name, Address, position, etc.
    Not attendance and absence ITs.

    Hi,
IMG – Personnel Management – Personnel Admin – Tools – Revision – Set up change document:
    This node has three items:
    Infotypes to be logged
    Field Group Definitions
    Field Group Characteristics
Using these three options you define which infotypes you wish to log, then which fields, then you define which groups of fields are to be saved. Click each link, or see the sections below:
    Infotypes to be logged
Here you define which PA infotype numbers you require logging. Select New Entries and enter a transaction class (A for Pers Admin, B for recruitment), then enter the infotype number and save.
    Field Group Definition
When changes are made to a logged infotype, the field contents before and after are recorded. This is the very reason for logging the infotype, but there is an overhead in performance and disk space used so it needs to be given consideration. Typically you will want to record fields that are pay relevant.
Using the field group definition, you specify which fields you wish to record changes in. When any of the fields in the group are changed, all the fields in the group are saved. You can use an asterisk to log all the fields of the infotype but this is not recommended for space and performance, also there are many fields on an infotype that you will not be using, that will be saved also. Ideally you will pick individual fields of the infotype and enter them like so:
The field group number is a freely defined number you allocate to the group, it will be used in the next step. For normal use, simply pick any number not already used in that infotype. All fields with the same field group number are recorded in the log, even if they have not changed.
Click New Entries and enter the infotype number, field group number and field names that you wish to record.
    Field Group Characteristics
When you have set up the field group numbers, use the field group characteristics to activate the logging of those fields. You can also specify a supplementary field group; this means that the contents of another field group can also be saved at the same time, even though the contents have not changed. In practise it is not used much. Simply select new entries, enter the transaction class, infotype, and in the DocFieldGr enter the number you assigned to the field names that you want to store, then enter L for Long Term Documents (short are not supported)
    The Audit Report
To access the report showing the logged infotype changes, use the HR report tree available from various menu paths, including:
Main Menu – Human Resources – Pers Management – Administration – Info System – Reports - Documents – Infotype change – logged changes in infotype data. (RPUAUD00).
When you run the report, select the infotypes you require, and select and execute.
    Cheers

  • FI-TV Postings (PRRW) impact on payroll reports

    Dear All,
We are at a seriously challenged after adopting PRRW posting process for travel expenses. Here is what the situation is....
Initially our UK client always had payroll posting processed for travel related amounts / wage types. Lately, after SAP released a NOTE for VAT calculation on mileage, we have adopted the travel posting (PRRW) process. In order to adopt travel posting for travel expenses, we have migrated all the travel wage types vs symbolic a/c's vs GL's to Travel config.
    Example -
    (Earlier)
    Travel WT 1234 -
    Syma/c G004 -
    Exp GL 10100 (payroll posting)
    (Now)
    WT 1234 -
    Syma/c +13  --- Exp GL 10100 (FI-TV posting)
    WT 1234 -
Syma/c xxxx--- Bal GL xxxxx (Payroll posting)
The problem we are having is with SAP standard reports (Drilldown reporting of cost centers) for example, PC00_M08_DRL_COSTOBJ is no longer reporting travel amounts. This is because, this program uses cost center in the selection screen and always uses PPOIX & PPIDT of payroll posting (run id and run header). So in these tables, WT 1234 is mapped to Bal GL xxxxx which cannot have a cost element or cost center and hence these reports are broken with travel amounts permanently.
Are there any reports which pick data from both payroll posting tables and FI-TV posting tables OR are there any BadI's or etc that can be used for SAP standard reports.
This is a grave problem at the moment and hence I request for leads or inputs at the earliest please. If anyone using FI-TV POSTING for travel integrated with payroll, please can you share your comments about your pratices.
    Thanks!

  • Error While saging the payroll in assignment

    Hi,
i am getting a error "APP-PAY-06153: System Error: procedure hr_entry.derive_default_value at step 6" while saving the assignment information after setting some payroll. can any body me help on this issue.
    thanks in advance.

    Problem Description
When querying existing Assignments or creating new ones and then saving the form
(PERWSHRG 11.0.14), the following error occurs:
    APP-06153 System Error Procedure
    hr_entry.derive_default_value at step 6
Navigate -> People -> Enter and Maintain -> Assignments.
The error occurs regardless of which fields are changed (including fields
    in alternate regions).
The error only occurs if datetracked prior to a certain date - in this case
    23-MAR-2000.
    Solution Description
In this case there were two links for an element, one with default values and
one without. The one without, had an effective_start_date of 23-MAR-2000. Once
this link was deleted and re-entered with a date in 1998, the error no longer
    occures.
Also need to check that all elements which are set up as standard links have
    default input values.

    US Check/Deposit Advice XML
There are some additional dependencies for this patch that were not
originally communicated. Applying the EOY Phase 1 patch first satisfies
these dependencies. If there is a need to apply this patch prior to
applying EOY Phase 1 we are exploring possible alternative
pre-requisites and will send out a notice late next week with more
    information.
    * 11i one-off Patch 6399100 released 21-Sep-2007
    * R12 will be part of Release Update (RUP) 12.0.4
Oracle will de-support the Live Checkwriter and Deposit Advice for US
and Canada beginning with 2007 EOY Phase 1. Archive Checkwriter and
Deposit Advice will continue to be supported. What this means is that
new code changes and bug fixes will not be tested on the Live
Checkwriter and Deposit Advice. Additionally, enhancements made to the
Archive version will NOT be made for the Live version.
    Desupport of Standard Tax Interface
Oracle no longer supports the Standard Tax interface. Taxes will
continue to be calculated and tax rate changes from the Vertex Data
Updates will continue. New code changes and bug fixes will not be tested
on the Standard Interface and we cannot guarantee that all functionality
will continue to work. Additionally, enhancements made to taxes will NOT
be made for the Standard Tax Interface. We strongly recommend that you
upgrade immediately to the Enhanced Tax interface.

  • Report to find the actual retro date of payroll

    Hi experts!
You know, every month user changes lot of data in Infotypes involving retro payroll. And SAP provide change log info type to check who changed, edited or deleted & when & from old value to new value: RPUAUD00 transaction S_AHR_61016380.
However with this report, we must manually check it. So it will take such long time for checking & verifying. Thus my concern is maybe there is a standard report provide all these information in another way, it's much more easier for us to check. I mean: when I choose PF9999, & infotype 14, 8 in Sep-11: report will show:
with IT8: it will list all change: who changed, when changing occurred, from value A to value B, the period of record: assuming pf is increased salary Basic: 1000 -> 1500 since 15-Sep & HRA allowance (1005): 300->350: since 1-Aug in Sep-11.
    PF999
Wage Type 1000: old value 1000, new value 1500; user AAA changed on 14-Sep. Start date of change: 15-Sep
Wage Type 1005 old value 300, new value 500; user BBB changed on 10-Sep, start date of change: 1-Aug.
If the report is available, it really helps all of us alot. If anyone know, please share. I am really appreciated.
    Regards!
    Woody.

    Hi Woody,
You can easily create such a report yourself via Ad Hoc Query.  Every infotype has a start date (BEGDA), end date (ENDDA), changed by (UNAME) and changed on (AEDTM).  If these are not in your infosets, they can easily be added.  You can enter these as selection and output fields along with the wage type amounts and other data fields.  This may not pick up all retros, however, as other infotypes such as IT0001-Organizational Assignment, 0007-Planned Working Time, etc. will also create retros if changed in the past.  You can create queries for these infotypes if you want.
If interested in individuals as to whether they had a retro calculation - report H99_DISPLAY_PAYRESULT will show all retros if an individual had more than one entry for a pay period.  This report is viewed individual by individual.
