Pb with populating newly added AD fields for existing users

Hello,
Let's say that we have version 10 of the AD process form pushed to production.
Then we decided to push version 11 of the AD process form, which now has 4 more fields, to prod.
For new users, we can see that the new fields are populated and the data flows down to AD.
But, how do things work for existing users with existing AD account?
How can we make the new fields appear in the process form of an existing user with old AD account that did not contain the new 4 fields.

    How to Apply a Newly Created Access Policy on Existing Users in OIM?
    When the rule is getting failed the user is getting removed from the group but resource is not getting revoked. This is happening only for the old uses..for the users which i created now it working fine..i mean its resource is getting revoked.
    (Retrofit access policy" is checked on the Access Policyand Revoke if not longer applied is checked.)
    For the old users i see the POl_Key is null, for new users i see a value '10'. So i updated the pol_key for old users same as it got generated for new users '10'.
    i even updated the form version too but still revoke doesn't work.
    I cant go for the below approach..
    In order to apply a newly created Access Policy on existing users, one has to make sure that:
    1) "Retrofit access policy" is checked on the Access Policy.
    2) Then run the "Set User Provisioned Date" Schedule task to apply the Access Policy on the existing users in OIM.
    Note: After 9.1.0.1 BP03 the access policy execution has been moved to a new scheduled task "Evaluate User Policies" as mentioned inDocument 839368.1 :How to Use Access Policies to Provision with Groups.
    Is there any other approach i can try.. if you have any idea please reply me asap

    We decided to try the Schedule task (Set User Provisioned Date).
    But i see one problem here after seeing this post in metalik --> Can Access Policies Manage The Life-cycle Of Users Created via Reconciliation? [ID 1136540.1]
    According to this post Access Policies framework does not manage users who are obtained either through trusted reconciliation or target reconciliation.
    Is there any custom way to achieve this??
    How does the access policy framework revoke resource work? (revoke if no longer applies)??

  • Access Policy for Existing Users

    Hi,
    Here is the Scenario:
    1. We have AD resource object having "Allow Multiple" Unchecked
    2. We have Users who are already provisioned to AD
    We are trying to introduce Auto Provisioning into our system for AD, I know new users will be evaluated against Access policies and will be provisioned to the resource and hence groups management will be taken care automatically, Questions:
    1. If I disable resources (and not revoke) for these new users what will be the group membership status -will they be removed from group?
    2. How to pull existing users under this auto prov umbrella? My thoughts: by writing a custom scheduler that will check resource provisioned and make it as part of the group, but will resource be revoked automatically if group is removed for these users? If not what should be the approach for existing users?

    You can try LSMW (Direct method) for uploading class values.
    Upload file can hae following structure:

  • EEWB: Insert New Table with more than one key field  for BP object

    Hi Gurus,
    I want to enhance Business Partner object with a new table with two key fields, one the address number and another a sequence number, because I need to save several entries for each address belonging to a determined business partner. Something as what happens in communication data (i.e fax number)for an address.
    I have run the wizard from EEWB but the only possibility that offers you is to create only one key field for the new custom table. There is something in EEWB to achieve this, two key fields for the new table?
    Another question is the following: which Badi or BAPI must I enhance to populate my table with the corresponding address number to which the data belong to?
    I mean my custom data are filled through a table control that I have allocated within the screen sequence BUA130 (Detail Address). Thus, when a new address is added to a BP and my particular table control is populated within this address I should fill the key fields from my table (address number and sequence number) when the BP were saved. So, I must know beforehand which address number the system will assign to this new address.
    I repeat the question: which Badi or BAPI must I enhance to populate my table with the corresponding address number to which the data belong to?

    I have a requirement to add a custom entity in MDGM with an currency attribute, and encountring dump while adding the field to Web Dynpro component in UI.
    Could some one point me a direction and see below :

    Yes, since the release of the current segment is 45 and you are now in a ECC6 system you cannot cancel the release (because there is no ECC6 version). Just use the add version button to create a new version for ECC6. Once you have that you can add fields and set the release to ECC6.
    If you later on need to add more segements you can then cancel the release for your ECC6 segment and add the fields and set the release to ECC6 again (because you already have an ECC6 segment)

  • Issue with printing newly added operations in Production Order through CO02

    Hi,
    Currently I have one issue with printing production order changes through CO02. If I go for print, all the operations are captured in printout. But after the print, if I add any new operations to this production order, and then go for print, its not capturing the newly added operations. Also, there is information popup coming "Copies will be printed for order. Original list already printed". This message effectively means, even after changes, when I go for print functionality, its just going for printing copies of original printed list.
    Can anyone help me out to get the newly added operations reflected in the print through CO02 ?

    1) Go to Tcode "OPK8"
    2)Select LG02 "Op Control Ticket"
    3) Double click on :List Control for Transactions" in the left hand menu tree
    4) In front of ur desired t code "co02" make the changes ( Number of prints- u can increase) 6th column.
    Try this.

  • System Status of newly added project objects for a RELEASED Project.

    During the course of execution of project, we may need to add new activities.
    However, as the project is released, the newly added activtity or project object attains REL status.
    How to ensure CRTD status for the newly created object so that can ensure subsequent release by Higher Authority.
    I think user status may be useful here but i do not know how to set. Please suggest feasible solution.

    Release status is PS pass on for PS  Objects. So,  Create two no. of Level one  WBS Element in your PS Structure. One for which you want release that structure you create under that WBS  and Second WBS don't Release and use the same leg for your created status structuring.
    And do not Release Project Definition, Let it be max. PREL only, Till your structuring process is over.
    I think User status cannot help you in this  case.  ( Because user status reside between the System Status )

    This is homework which is end of chapter "challenges" to practice what we've learnt.
    The chapter covers inheritance (super class and all things related)
    I'm having quite an annoying issue with the very beginning of the instructions, where it tells me to make the following fields:
    - Employee name
    - Employee number in the format XXX-L , where each X is a digit within the range 0-9 and the L is a letter within the range A-M.
    - Hire date
    This is what I wrote for code so far

    private String date;I really have no idea what to do for the second field, how to even constrain integers and letters in the same field with a rule for number range and letter range, and that for each character independently, for what I understand.
    Any advice with this? It's blocking me from continuing -_-, because I can't make accessors and mutators and constructors, etc, if i'm still unsure of how the fields unfold.

    You can create a HireDate class.
    public class HireDate{

          this.year = year;
    }In the HireDate Constructor you could put if statements to ensure that only correct information is present. The fields are final because the hire date will not change. Override the toString() method so that when you print it out it will be in the correct format. Create some getter methods to get the private fields.
    Then in your other class just do this
    HireDate hired = new HireDate(10, July, 1991);Now you have an object that stores all 3 fields for you. You can use the object as you like and when it prints it will be in the format you want.
    Or you could just make hireDate a String variable. That is what I always did and I never lost marks for it. The reason I suggest this way is because you mentioned rules and constraints.

  • Work Manager 6.1: Adding custom field for notification creation

    Hi,
    I already added new fields in the past, and also in WM6.1 for fetch BAPIs, but now I'm trying to do it for the NotificationAdd Transaction and I'm not able to make it work. I guess I forgot some step but I don't know which, so I will describe what I did:
    Agentry:
    Added new field to the Notification object
    Added new field to the NotificationAdd Transaction
    Added new field to the NotificationAdd Detail Screen
    Java:
    Created class Notification.java extending com.syclo.sap.component.lam.notification.object.Notification
    Added new field to the new Notifciation class
    Copied constructors calling super method.
    Override method setProperties(User u, NotificationPostBAPI bapi). Now is calling the super method and afterwards setting the new field. Here is where I have the error when I debug, the u.getString("transaction.Z_NewField")) i returning an empty string because it's not finding the value when reading from the transaction.
    Created class NotificaitonPostBAPI extending from com.syclo.sap.component.lam.notification.bapi.NotificationPostBAPI.Override method setHeaderParameters to set the value in the ABAP structure for the new field after calling the super method.
    Configuration Portal:
    Changed global parameter to assign the customer NotificationPostBAPI class
    Created global parameter to assign a BAPI wrapper to the new customer NotificationPostBAPI class
    Change the global parameter to assign the class for Notification object in order to use the new customer class
    Do you know why during the setProperties method created in Java, Step1 the transaction value for the Z field is empty? It seems I'm forgetting something quite simple here.

    Is there any possible way to add the BKPD-XREF1_HD field to FBL1N and FBL3N transactions?
    As per my knowledge both are line item related process which contains other than BKPF table entries. Bue my client wants to add in the Dynamic selection as it available for FB03 transaction.
    I tried thru SE36 but no result. (BRF)
    Please adivse what are all the ways to do that or is there any SAP notes available for possible or not possible solution.

    Hello Sankar babu,
    These fields need to be setup as Special Fields in T021S. You can do this by the following path in IMG:
    Financial Accounting->General Ledger Accounting->G/L Accounts-> Line Items->Display Line Items with ALV->Define Special Fields for Finding and Sorting Data. (transaction OBVU).
    Please check SAP note 207436. It describes you how you should act to see the field XREF* in transaction FBL*N.
    Regarding the Special Fields, please see SAP Note 215798.  This note will explain that the special fields need to be in table T021S as well as in the RFPOSXEXT structure which can be verified in SE11.  If these fields are not yet in RFPOSXEXT see Note 215798 (you can verify this in RFPOSXEXT by going to the bottom of the structure and see under column 'Component' that special fields are denoted by 'U_XREF1').  You may see a field XREF1 under the 'Component' column, but these fields are NOT the special field.  The special field is denoted by U_fieldname!!!
    However, the field BKPF-XREF1_HD is used in Real Estate module. In this field, you can define control information for all line items.This field is used in third-party management in RE to assign a business transaction to a third party.
    Please note that table BKPF is not directly selected in the logical database, so the usage of the field in the selection views in SE36 will not work. So you may have to create the field in the index tables.
