Pb with PSFT Employee Reconciliation (incremental)

Hello,
While running the PSFT Employee reconciliation (incremental), I got the following error:
On PSFT side: HTTP 500
On OIM log file: ERROR,19 Feb 2010 12:14:19,155,[OIMCP.PSFTCOMMON],oracle.iam.connectors.psft.common.listener.PeopleSoftOIMListener : process : Message Detaisl not provided in web.xml for ITResource WebServer name.
In the WebServer name, it showed the server name.
In the design console I created the peoplesoft ITResource named PSFT Server as per Oracle installation guide.
How can I debug this error?

I am on PSFT connector ER, 9.1.1.
In web.xml file, if this line of code is added

<param-name>java.naming.provider.url</param-name>
<param-value>t3://localhost:8480</param-value>
it would solve the problem with not being able to log into OIM.
However, now I have a different error. I believe this is related to the test xml file that I built to test the connector.
It seems that the reconciliation couldn't find the IT Resource for People Soft.
How do you include the it resource in the test xml file? or how does this work?

Here is what is in the log, it could find the IT Resource at 171, then it lost the IT Resource a little bit later on at 175:

I am trying to create OIM users from incremental (trusted) reconciliation with the new PeopleSoft Employee Reconciliation 11 connector. I get the user created from the PERSON_BASIC_SYNC message. However, they are disabled.
If I look at the documentation, I see that there is configuration around the Workforce sync message. Is this required now in the 11g connector? Is there anyway to work around this?

Check your status lookups that are configured around the person message and change the status for what is incoming to Active.

When there is a HireEvent registered in SAP and reconciled into OIM, in what OIM fields are the Start and End Date stored?
When there is a TerminateEvent registered in SAP and reconciled into OIM, in what OIM fields are the Start and End Date stored?
When there is a RehireEvent registered in SAP and reconciled into OIM, in what OIM fields are the Start and End Date stored?

Change employee reconciliation account

Dear Sapgurus,
There is a need to change one employees Reconciliation account from 21100000 to 21101000, Kindly understand 21100000 is Vendor Reconciliation account and 21101000 is employee reconciliation account. By anychance my Client was using 21100000 in one employees master data, now I want to change it from 21100000 to 21101000.
In FK02/XK02 recon account field is greyed not allowing to change though there is no balance in Employees account
Please SAPGurus give me the complete process of doing this, the answers will be rewarded.

If you want to change employee reconciliation account from vendor master data and it is shown grayed you can use transaction in SPRO -> Financial accounting->Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable ->Vendor Accounts->Master Data -> Preparations for Creating Vendor Master Data ->Define Screen Layout per Activity (Vendors)
And change the status of reconciliation account to be ready for input (Optional entry). then try to use fk02 or xk02 as you change in the previous screen.

Integration with Outlook - how to increment end date and time from start date/time

Hi,
I want to add a variable amount of time to an appointment start date and time in outlook, through vba in access. Code below shows what I've done:

What do I replace the ????? with so that it increments the start time by any duration I decide in minutes? Using the duration doesn't seem to work and I also want to be able to have the appointment span a number of days, e.g. could start at 930am on
Monday and end at 10am on Weds, but want to set the end time relative to the start time.

It would be helpful if you posted the exact code you tried. In my tests, setting teh .Duration property appears to work. However, if you want to set the .End property to a specific number of minutes after the date/time of the .Start property,
this works for me:
With olAppointment
.start = DateValue(strStartDate) + TimeValue(strStartTime)
.End = .start + TimeSerial(0, intDuration, 0)
End With
Assuming, that is, that intDuration contains the number of minutes the appointment should last.

Posting/Sharing a calendar with my employees

I was recently asked to start posting and sharing my calendar with my employees to note availability. Half the office uses Macs and the other half PCs. I like iCal and prefer to use that, but I'm trying to figure out a way to export a weekly calendar in a file type that would be usable for the entire office. The PC users use Microsoft Outlook I believe, but all I need them to be able to do is see my calendar using any application...
Can I export my iCal agenda to a file type readable by PC based applications? I REALLY don't want to have to use Microsoft Entourage...

I use the free service www.icalx.com. iCal can publish your calendar to this site in a manner similar to .mac. Other iCal users can subscribe to the calendar, and you can make the calendar viewable to anyone from their browser.
Google Calendar users & Outlook 2007 (but not previous Outlooks) can also subscribe to calendars posted at icalx.

Installable for OIM connector for People Soft Employee reconciliation 9.0.4

I need to install the OIM connector for People Soft Employee reconciliation and user managemnet.
The latest release of connectors, i.e version 9.1.0. supports People Tools 8.49 and not the previous versions of people soft, i.e 8.48, etc.
Where can I download the installation media for connector for People Soft Employee reconciliation and user managemnet version 9.0.4 as my people tools installation is 8.48 version.

We are trying to install the RACF Advanced Connector in OIM.After copying Connector to the ConnectorDefaultDirectory in OIMSERVER , we are trying to install the connector from the OIMAdmin Console. We are able to see the RACF connector version in the dropdown box, when we click on the Load button we are getting the SystemError Page.
Please let us know if there are any prequisites we need to take care before installing the connector,we dodn't find anything on this in the connector documentation.

Autonomy Backup Client - issue with full backup but incrementals okay

We run Autonomy to back-up our Laptops across the enterprise .
I notice on one laptop here that the account within Autonomy Admin shows taht "Last known good full backup = Not applicable", but when you go into client history you can see that the incremental backups have been happening okay.
Should I be conerned? Is this backup file corrupt? If so, how please can I fix with minimal impact to the user.

For this unless this is a HP software product you need to contact the Software manufacture that you use for your backup for support on their software...

Hi HTH,
in recon manager it shows Event recieved. But when i click on create user/reapply matich rules. it throws this error. I had followed configuring GTC several times, but every time I endup with same error.

Error while creating a new site for a supplier associated with an Employee

Hi
We create suppliers for all the employee when we get daily HR feed and create a default site OFFICE for all of them,
Now when from the front end we try creating a new supplier site HOME.
It gives an error

How do I synchronize a table of employees with and employee update form?

WHAT i AM TRYING TO DO:
Create a page with two areas. The top will contain a sortable, filterable list of employees. The bottom of the page will contain all of the details on a selected employee.
WHAT I HAVE DONE:
1. Created a DEPT_EMPLOYEES view with just some basic department and employee information.
2. Created Entities and View Objects based on the DEPT_EMPLOYEES view and the EMPLOYEES table.
3. Created a View Link between the DeptEmpROView (source) and EmployeesUView (destination)
3. Created a page with a panel splitter an dropped the DeptEmpROView in the top as and ADF Table.
4. Dropped the EmployeeUView on the bottom part of the pages as and ADF Form.
WHAT HAPPENS.
1. When I open the page the list of employees is displayed on top, and the first employee is displayed below.
2. When I click on another row in the table the form below does not change. I had expected it to.
3. If I right-click on a row in the table and select "reload" from the options the page is re-drawn and the bottom form is populated with the data that matches the row I clicked on.
WHAT I WANTED
When you click on an entry, to have the bottom part of the page refreshed to match the selected entry.
QUESTIONS:
1. I thought I had followed all of the steps to prepare a master-detail setup. Do this not work with a table as the master? Or did I miss a step? Or am I using components in a way they were not intended?
2. When I look at the ViewLink I see in the Destination that the where clause :Bind_EmployeeId = EMPLOYEE_ID will be appended to the query. I would then guess that :Bind_EmployeeId is not set when I click on a row. Is there a way to make that happen?
3. I notice in the af:table documentation there is an org.apache.myfaces.trinidad.event.SelectionEvent defined. Can I somehow intercept this and set the bind variable then? If so, how to I tell the form to refresh?
5. Another clue. When I run the page I get some warnings. One is "Reference selectedRow not found" . Double clicking on that gets me to a line selectedRowKeys="#{bindings.DeptEmployeesROView2.collectionModel.selectedRow}"
6. Another warning message "Reference makeCurrent not found" gets me to selectionListener="#{bindings.DeptEmployeesROView2.collectionModel.makeCurrent}"
It sure seems like these last two must have something to do with it.
Any clues would be appreciated.

Thanks for pointing me to that tutorial. The synchronization is now working.
For anyone else that might find this discussion:
To make it work I selected the af:paneFormLayout that held the EmployeeUView.
In the properties there is a PartialTriggers property in the Behavior section.
I highlighted this property and selected the Edit option.
This allowed me to navigate the component tree and pick the table holding the DeptEmpROView.
That was it. Now clicking on the table changes the details displayed in the form.
There are questions, but they are more followon:
1. The tutorial surrounded the "list table" with a panelCollection. I did not do that. I don't know why or why not to use the panelCollection.
2. The tutorial made a point of setting the ColumnSelection attribute to single for the List table. I did not find this changed the behavior in any way and was wondering why.
3. The tutorial also made a point of changing the ContextMenuSelect for the list table to "clickToEdit".
3a. I did not see how this changed the behavior
3b. Why "clickToEdit" on a read-only table?
